Heroic Miners Save Baby Bull Elephant From Drowning In A Well
Sometimes life can change in the blink of an eye and lead us on a path we’ve never expected it would go on. We never know whether the next curve on the road leads us to success or total damnation. This small elephant babe is the prime example of it.
A baby bull elephant has been rescued after falling into a well at a copper mine. It is not known how long the youngun was trapped inside the well, but marks other elephants helping him were visible around the small well.
Video footage shows staff at the Phalaborwa Copper mine in South Africa’s Limpopo Province frantically pull the calf out of a small dam of water on February 16. They are struggling to remove the distressed animal because he keeps on slipping and the rescuers have to think of their safety as well if they want to manage to save him.
The visibly stressed elephant is eventually pulled out of the well by the heroic staff members. It is believed the calf may have fallen into the well and been left by its herd after it couldn’t escape. The rescuers showed it to other elephant herds in the area, but none of them seemed to recognize him. Because of this, he was taken to a local shelter and nursed to health. His future is still uncertain because the helpers aren’t sure how such a stressful ordeal may influence him. After all, he is still a young baby.
The young calf fell into an outflow trap and would have drowned without the incredible strength of the two men who pulled the 250lb creature to safety. Gripping video footage shows the workers Johan Bezuidenhout and Quenton du Plessis using their brute force to help the youngster who was trying to quench his thirst in the fierce drought that has stricken South Africa’s wildlife.
The elephant has been called Amanzi – water in the Zulu dialect – and is as of now appearing of getting over his close drowning problem and ensuing outcast from the crowd. Elephants Alive has uncovered Amanzi's story, South African philanthropy set up to ensure the planet's most significant land warm-blooded creatures and their natural surroundings just as advancing amicable conjunction between the animals and people.
Fears that Amanzi probably won't get by in the extreme warmth have just been alleviated, and he has bewildered his carers who are nourishing him in shifts like clockwork. A spokesman for Elephants Alive said: “We are so proud to announce that he is a very bright little elephant.
"With your prayers, we hold the faith that little Amanzi will not only become another success story, but like the ‘water,’ which is his name in Zulu, he becomes a symbol of hope.
“We also believe that he has the potential to become a national a symbol of hope for our land which is currently caught in the grips of a terrible drought. "Water is life and hope. Like Amanzi, we all depend on drops of mercy to keep us going.”

Great White Shark Pays A Visit To Cage Divers
Why is nature so beautiful? Why does a short walk amidst nature have such a calming influence on our mind? Why does the sight of flowers, butterflies, rainbows and animals fill our hearts with joy unspeakable? While evolution and science can explain many facts of our daily existence, the answer to this profound puzzle lies a little beyond the reaches of present day science, and in the realms of the super-conscious. Nature is beautiful because it is a manifestation of everything that is fervently pulsating with life on this planet. In the midst of nature, our minds become calm because we feel the pull of this joyful cosmic consciousness.
There’s so little we know of our planet, and naturally it makes us curious as to what else is out there. This thirst for knowledge makes us push our boundaries and reach for the unknown. So far we’ve been able to see almost everything that’s above ground but there are many wonders lurking in the waters depths and the inside of our mysterious planet.
We are reaching for the stars, but we know only a few percents of what the ocean waters hold. There have been many expeditions in the darkest parts of the sea, but we have yet to reach the bottom of the abyss. Even with our limited knowledge of the sea, some animals that we encounter are more likely to come out of a work of fiction than the sea itself.
A group of cage divers were testing their luck in Gaansbai, a place in South Africa that is known as a hot spot for the endangered white shark. They try to lure the big creature by using salmon as a bait, but they got a bit more than they bargained for.
The reason why so many Great White Sharks are around Gansbaai is due to the abundance of energy rich food in Shark Alley, a small channel of water passing between Geyser Rock and Dyer Island.
Gansbaai is the capital of Great White Sharks in the world with a population estimated of around 1,500 sharks. The sharks move constantly up and down the coastline and some travel very far up to Mozambique and Madagascar. Some travel extreme distances but it is clearly evident that the majority of the time most of the Great White Sharks swim in the waters around Gansbaai.
Some of the divers went in the water to take a closer look while the others threw the bait. These predators can detect blood in the water up to 5 kilometers away, so it's no wonder this shark came by to see what's up.
The shark then decides to make a big entrance and clamps it jaws around the steel bars, just inches away from the camera, and the divers manage to film this outstanding footage.
What do you think about this video? Make sure you tell us more in the comments down below. If you like what you see, don’t forget to share it with others who might like it as well. It just might be the highlight of their day! Enjoy!

Meet The Bald And Beautiful Skinny Pig
This bold, but beautiful guinea pig lives with his owner Jessica in the Southern parts of the Netherlands. Pim is in fact a Skinny Pig, a type of hairless guinea pig. Today’s Skinny Pig is a cross between haired guinea pigs and a hairless lab strain, traditionally bred for laboratory use in dermatology studies. Skinny pigs are as healthy as ordinary guinea pigs, they just typically only have hair on their muzzles, feet and legs. With his hairless body and pink skin you could mistake this animal for a piglet rather than a rodent.
Because of his hairless body, this piggie needs warm clothes to keep him warm, so his owner Jessica has made him tons of sweaters. Because of him being very cute when dressed in this cozy clothing and cuddling under the warm blanket, Pim has become a rising Internet star. Everybody seems to love tiny Pim!
Pim has lots of animal friends. Dogs, hamsters, chickens just name it and you can find it on his animal friends list.
This pink chubby skinny pig has a healthy appetite. Man, he’s an eating machine! Everything that goes inside his mouth is "grinded" in just a few seconds. Pim’s owner Jessica Pires is very aware of his eating abilities, as she says "Every time my mother comes into my room when the curtains are closed, he will scream until he gets his vegetables."
According to Jessica, little Pim loves all his fans and he loves to be famous. Some of her followers are so in love with him that they would love to see him every day. And for some people he is the best piggy of Instagram.

Meet Venom The World’s Most Famous Micro Bully Valued At Over $500,000
Venom is the world’s most famous micro bully who is valued at over $500,000. Thanks to his bodybuilder physique, the micro bully attracted fans from all across the globe. He lives with Matt Siebenthal, his fiancé Deanne and his stepson Christian in Lake Worth, Florida, along with his fellow dogs King Tyson and Lucky Lucciano.
Despite his gentle personality, the breed has often been labelled as aggressive by the mainstream media, but his family believes in the loving nature of their dog. There is one big misconception about American bullies that they look aggressive because of their muscle mass or size, but they are sweet, gentle giants. Don’t judge a book by its cover and don’t believe everything the media puts out. Any dog breed will be mean and aggressive if they are kept locked up 24 hours a day.
This family has the perfect example of prime micro bully breeding and they are passing on Venom’s priceless genes onto healthy pups, who sell out months in advance for an average of $4-6000, with one pup selling for $25,000. The value of these dogs is priceless, because they are part of the family, and how can you put a value on that, says Matt.
Matt decided to listen to his fiancé and start writing about the striking breed in his own magazine - Bully King Magazine. This bi-monthly magazine celebrates everything bully related from breeding and training information to health, diet and exercise tips.

Real Life Bambis Rescued From Frozen Lake
Police officer James Kenison and his father Doug rescue a stranded deer who could not walk on the frozen lake on December 2, 2013 in Albert Lea, Minnesota.
The three stricken deer were thrown a lifeline after being towed off the frozen lake by a cop on a hovercraft. James Kenison and his father Doug drove a quarter of a mile onto frozen Albert Lea Lake in Minnesota to save the stranded animals. The pair, who run hovercraft tour company, MedCity Hovercraft, tied ropes round the tired deers and dragged them to shore.
The compassionate rescue was captured on camera by James, who said he believed the deer had been out on the lake for days after being unable to walk on the slick ice.
But just how did they get there? The mystery of the three prostrate deer stranded for two days in the middle of this frozen lake remains, since their hooves would make walking in the slick ice impossible.
The dad-of-four made several trips a quarter of a mile onto Albert Lea Lake to make sure each animal made it home safely. The 39-year-old said: “I saw a Facebook photo of a deer on the ice and someone suggested we might be able to reach it on the hovercraft. We knew it had been stuck out there for a few days so we prepared for the worst, but when we got there we found three of them - and they were in surprisingly good shape."

'Deadpool’ Prevents Epic Battle Between Alligators
An Alligator wrangler dressed as superhero Deadpool courageously breaks up a fight between two gators going head-to-head over territory. Someone needed to suit up to end this battle, and Deadpool walks in to tame the mighty reptiles.
The man behind the mask was not Ryan Reynolds, who played the former Special Forces operative in the 2016 film of the Marvel comic series, but experienced gator wrestler Jason McDonald. McDonald, 36 from Aurora, Colorado works at The Colorado Gator Farm and has been wrestling gators for 12 years - and says he has only been bitten once.
This farm was celebrating gator fest, the theme of which was superheroes, going somewhat to explain Jason's bizarre choice of outfit. Despite his heroic costume, he says the outfit made his job even more dangerous by restricting his vision while helping a wounded alligator.
He closes gator's mouth and shuts his eyes, as he sits on top of him, holding his front legs. This female has been fighting and has come off second best so they now have to treat her nasty wound on her front leg.
Most of the aligators on the farm are rescues confiscated from people's homes, the farm tries to give the reptiles as natural environment as possible. They also give gator handling classes, so people can learn how to become alligator fighting super heroes just like Jason and his helping hand, reptile wrestler Jay Young whose family first set up the Colorado Gator Farm.

This Tiny Horse Is Becoming An Internet Sensation
A tiny horse that lives in Georgia, USA, and suffers from a rare form of dwarfism has become an Internet sensation after his owner posted a video to Facebook. 5-months-old Shammy weights just 50 pounds and he’s little over 20 inches tall. This little fella’s condition may make him smaller than his fellow equines - but that doesn’t stop him from being mischievous and delighting his online fan base. Everyone loves Shamy. People in shops and the town hair salon just adore him and take pictures of him all the time, so he is fast becoming an online sensation.
"He’s a one in a million. He’s very lovable." says his owner Michelle.
It was literally love at first sight. When he was barely 30 days old people came by to see him, some of them wanted to take him home or even buy him. But, of course, his owner Michele will never sell him.
When Shammy is not causing trouble around Michelle’s farm, he wants to relax and show his more loving side.
"When he’s ready to nap, I can come over and lay him down. He will stay with me until i get him up. Shammy is almost like a dog. He would rather be with me than a herd of horses or even with his momma sometimes. He follows me around..." He even waits for her in the yard when she comes back from the town.
This tiny adorable horse is about to have even bigger issues. As horses with his condition get older, they unfortunately suffer more and more. They tend to get artritis and their bodies don’t grow as fast as their internal organs, causing them a hard time.
Have a look at Shamy’s world and smile at his silly behavior. Let’s give him the best time he has left on Earth!

MEET Ozzy - the ‘bazooka’ dog trained in jiu jitsu. This two-year-old Dutch Shepherd is a highly trained protection dog who belongs to Erin Leisen, 31, of California. Ozzy has effectively been taught jiu jitsu by Mike Jones, 35, head trainer at Primal Canine. Mike told Barcroft Studios: “I would say he’s the hardest biting dog I’ve ever worked with and then by far - when it comes to the technical ability - he’s definitely up there. That’s why he’s our one percenter, very rare, he’s our unicorn.” Erin, who is general manager of Primal Canine, is Ozzy’s handler and said that he is not a pet but a high level working dog. Erin told Barcroft Studios: “Ozzy’s a bazooka. He's not an everyday dog.” The couple also live with six other dogs - including Zilla - a one-year-old Dutch Shepherd who is Ozzy’s son. Mike started Primal Canine seven years ago to create a new kind of communication and balance approach and said that decoy training is not to be taken lightly. He said: “This type of training is extremely dangerous and it’s not for everybody. I have been hurt multiple times - I can’t even tell you how many times I have been hurt. I’ve had my bicep, pec muscle torn, I’ve been knocked unconscious, I’ve been bitten through a suit, through equipment.” Mike and Erin are proud of the ‘pack’ the organisation has created. Mike said: “We have the quote that I always use is that I’d rather die of exhaustion than boredom and that’s where we continuously push.”

Giant Wolf Dog Yuki Fights Cancer | BIG DOGZ
INTERNET sensation Yuki the giant wolf dog is fighting cancer. Giant wolf dog Yuki resides in the Shy Wolf Sanctuary in Florida. The wolf dog currently weighs over 120lbs and his DNA is a mix of Gray Wolf, Siberian Husky and German Shepherd. With his striking looks, Yuki has been building up a social media following. He has over 100K followers on Instagram and his previous contribution to the Beastly channel has amassed nearly 2 million views on YouTube. Game of Thrones fans often compare Yuki to the fantasy drama’s popular dire wolves. Sanctuary Director Jeremy Albrecht agrees that Yuki has been a wonderful public ambassador for the sanctuary. However, it’s this shot to fame that might have gotten to Yuki’s head a little. The temperamental wolf dog used to accept a mix of male and female carers into his enclosure, he has recently become a bit pickier. Volunteer Judy explained: “To watch Yuki kick somebody out of his enclosure, it's not a good thing. He will show those big pearly whites and growl and let you know that you need to back up and leave the enclosure.” Slowly the star decided which of the Shy Wolf Sanctuary volunteers have the X-factor, and Yuki seems to prefer the female kind. Despite this, each and every volunteer at Shy Wolf have a special place in their heart for Yuki. Which made it all the more difficult when they found out the animal is terminally ill. Jeremy explained: “Yuki has a form of blood cancer that we've seen before, where it manifests as a nerve sheet tumour on the leg. And so we had a large lump removed from his leg, that’s when we found out that he was ill in a way that we weren't going to be able to fix.” Since his diagnosis a year ago the team monitor Yuki closely, making sure he’s not limping or showing any other signs of worsening of his illness. Surprisingly, Jeremy actually thinks Yuki looks healthier now than he did ten months ago.

7-Year-Old’s Bestie Is A 15ft Python | BEAST BUDDIES
COMING face to face with two 15-foot pythons would be enough to terrify anybody, but one father-daughter duo is showing the world that snakes are not a species to be feared. Ed Taoka, a Massage Therapist from Surrey, is a proud owner of two reticulated pythons – six-year-old Sonny and five-year-old Cher. Emi, Ed’s seven-year-old daughter, can often be seen on social media cuddling and playing with the snakes – totally unphased by their size or capacity for danger. Ed told Barcroft TV: “The relationship between my daughter and the snakes has gotten stronger over time.” Despite the snakes being “very strong predators” who “demand respect”, Ed feels comfortable with his daughter being near the snakes but is adamant she would never be left unsupervised. Emi began interacting with Sonny and Cher when she was just over a year old. “I think supervised interactions with constrictors are relatively safe. They are safer than trampolines and bouncy castles.” Ed began sharing his life with his daughter and pet pythons on social media to prove they are not animals that should be demonised. “I enjoy filming the gentle interactions between my daughter and the snakes.” When asked if he feels the snakes could pose a potential threat, Ed explained: “They could stop her breathing if they managed to get around her neck, but I don’t think they could eat my daughter at this size.”

Tiny Puppy Manages To Break Down Dog-Proof Gate
A cute corgi makes a daring escape from behind a puppy proof fence. Filmed in July, this adorable footage shows Beau, an 11 week old puppy, pulling down and climbing over a gate which was meant to confine it to the kitchen.
The video was shot in Wapakoneta, Ohio, by the dog's loving owner Dan McLaughlin, who wanted to know how the mischievous puppy kept breaking loose. Beau was born on May 31, as part of a litter of four puppies and was bought by animal lover Dan who lives with his girlfriend.
Dan said: “When we left the apartment, we would put Beau behind the fence. But every time we would come back, even if we were just gone for a few minutes, we would find him roaming around the apartment and the puppy fence knocked over."
So, the couple did what every other confused puppy owner would do - they set up a camera. Lo and behold, tiny Corgi Beau used his even tinier mouth to pull the doggy gate out and roam the apartment, free as a bird!
The 21-year-old insists that Beau definitely has an adventurous side. He said: “The first few nights we had him, we put him in a laundry basket with blankets to sleep in, and it didn't take long for him to find a way to climb out of it.
“He hates being constrained to a small space, and will find anyway possible to get out." We feel you, pup!

This Micro Pit Bull Beauty Is Small Enough To Fit In Your Handbag
Forget Pugs, Pomeranians or Chihuahuas - the rich and famous could soon be carrying a Pit Bull in their Gucci handbags. These adorable canines are valued for over $50,000 and their friendly nature but buff exterior makes them the new craze in the United States.
A new breed of “micro pit bulls” is rapidly becoming the must-have canine companion in the world of designer dogs. John Truitt, 30, from Long Beach in California, runs The Collectibulls, a company which breeds, trains, and sells ‘bullies’ to customers around the world, and is a leading advocate for the breed. His signature dog is Queen Califa, a 12-inch-high “micro pit bull” who has been valued at over $75,000.
He goes to say that what sets these dogs apart from the ordinary American Pit Bull are both the size and the character. Micro bullies stand at about 9 to 11 inches, while their larger relatives easily reach 21 inches. The largest dog in this category is actually named Hulk and he weighs around 175 pounds.
One of the main things John wishes to accomplish by promoting this breed is to assure people that pit bulls are not the scary monsters they are portrayed out to be. He says that they are extremely cuddly, they like the attention and they are generally easy to get along with.
What do you think? Are Micro Bullies a yay or a nay? Make sure you tell us in the comments down below.

This Brazilian Family Shares Their Home With Seven Pet Tigers
They might be some of the most dangerous animals in the world, but that did not stop one Brazilian family to take the trend for exotic pets to new extremes. Not content with the standard pooch or moggy, the Borges brood have been sharing their home with a pack of SEVEN tigers. Aryas Borges, began his love affair with tigers when he found two of the big cats living in a bad state at a circus -- and decided to bring them home.
His daughters Nayara, 20, Uyara, 23, and Deusanira, 24, grew up sharing their meals, beds and playtime with the fully-grown predators and walking them on a leash. And Nayara, a real-life female Tarzan, regularly hops into the family swimming pool to take a dip with her furry friends. After his success with the rescue tigers, Ary started breeding them, and the tigers still have the run of the house at the Borges family home in Maringa. The family have forged an incredible bond with the tigers after living under the same roof for so long.
Aryas says that he is never afraid to let his daughters interact with these beasts, letting them swim together in the family pool, even ride them on their backs. Despite having no experience with big cats, Aryas rescued two of them from a circus eight years ago. He built them an enclosure and welcomed them in his family. It wasn’t long before Uyara started feeding and petting these big cats on her own and walking them on leashes.
Her sister Nayara forged a special bond with one of the tigers, named Tom, and the two regularly take swims in the family pool.
One question remains though - if they are so friendly and tame, why are they always on a leash?
