Brave Mongoose Fends Off Four Lions While They Try To Attack
Everyone has to eat to survive and these four lions are ready to attack their next meal, a mongoose. What we expect to be a quick kill, turned out to be a much harder task for the lions. This mongoose wasn't going to give up without a fight. Four lions were left with their tails between their legs when a mongoose bravely took on the predators. The mongoose may be under two feet tall, but that doesn't stop it, it is ready to fight. The aggressive mongoose growled at the felines and even bit one at the nose, this is one brave mongoose!
Mongooses are one of the bravest animals in nature. There’s the famous fictional mongoose Rikki-Tikki-Tavi in the “Jungle Book” that <a href="https://rumble.com/v5okb1-cape-cobra-vs-yellow-mongoose.html" target="_blank">battles a cobra</a>. And then there’s this real-life mongoose in Kenya that was caught on film in Masaai Mara National Park fending off four lions! Amazing!
The shocking fight, which was photographed in 2011 but has just been released, began in the Masaai Mara National Park, Kenya, when photographer Jerome Guillaumot came across four young lions surrounding the terrified marsh mongoose. The lions chased the mongoose into a hole in the ground, but the mongoose wasn't done with it's fight. It came back out and fought the predators once again before running for cover, amazing! For more information, visit http://www.wild-dog.fr/en
During a trip toKenya, Jerome Guillaumot caught something truly fascinating. Maybe even something a little adorable. This professional photographer stumbled across a mongoose surrounded by four fearsome lions, a situation that you’d think would have an obvious outcome. In a bizarre turn of events, the plucky mongoose started running around manically while screaming at the predators.
Even the lions were caught off-guard. Stunned, they began to edge back with uncertainty. With every screech the little mongoose advanced towards its would-be tormentors, intimidating them through sheer noisiness. One lion got brave and gave its prey a bash over the head with its large paw, but the mongoose barely registered the blow and continued to edge forwards menacingly. It even dared to physically attack the mighty monarch of the jungle, launching itself at one lion’s face at lightning speed.
The surprise managed to buy the mongoose enough time to make a break for it, but the <a href="https://rumble.com/v4lirb-lions-run-for-their-lives-when-an-elephant-charges-them.html" target="_blank">confused lions</a> weren’t ready to give up just yet, and chased after the loud little lout. Their pursuit proved unsuccessful, as the mongoose threw itself into the safety of a nearby hole in the ground. The lions gathered around the hole in frustration, having let their prey slip through their fingers. But the fearless mongoose clearly enjoyed the taste of power, and emerged from the hole for one more round.
As the brave little mongoose continued to scream and shout, the stunned lions once again felt their nerves shake and backed away.Though they’re known for taking on venomous cobras without fear, this is the first time a mongoose has been filmed fending off predators as big and fierce as lions.
Check out this video of a brave mongoose fighting for its life! Have you ever seen prey fighting back against their predators? Let us know in the comment section down below!

Wiener Dog Gives Loving Kisses To Massive Lion
This is quite the story of an unusual friendship. Here we have the king of the wild, yes you guessed it, a lion. The most vicious creature with the highest predator instinct. The lion is not only the toughest, strongest but the proudest and scariest of all the land animals. It's in the lion's nature to be respected and feared from all and that's exactly the way he carries himself.
Although, you will not believe your eyes once you see what happens in this video. This is proof that there is kindness above all in this world. This video will for sure blow your mind. A 500-POUND lion and a cute miniature sausage dog have completely turned the idea of fighting like cats and dogs on its head. Bonedigger, a five-year old male lion, and Milo, a seven-year old Dachshund dog, are so close that Milo nonchalantly licks the massive <a href="https://rumble.com/v3538b-cute-animal-friends-lion-and-dog-kiss.html" target="_blank">lion</a>'s teeth to clean them.
The two have been inseparable over the past five years at G.W Exotic Animal Park in Wynnewood, Oklahoma. Bonedigger and his pack of dogs cuddle, feast on raw meat and play in the grounds together. The park was damaged and flooded, but is managing to provide shelter for domestic and wild creatures that are homeless because of the storm.
Now having to now a little about these two lovely palls, go ahead and complete the picture by taking a look at an ordinary everyday life of these two BFF's. They bond they have created is nothing short of extraordinary!

The Undercover Cat Man Feeding Hundreds Of Strays
When Glen Venezio moved to Puerto Rico eleven years ago, he was immediately struck by the sight of the stray animals that roam the streets of the city. But instead of turning a blind eye, the man started caring for the animals, first from his own pocket, and now with the help of donations.
Starting at ten o’clock at night, Glen spends two to three hours preparing the food and water that he then brings to all the strays on his route around Santurce in Puerto Rico, finishing at five, sometimes even seven in the morning. Over the years, Glen has also spayed and neutered over 100 cats, but some of his friends have also brought in a few felines to be spayed on his behalf.
Locals are against his benevolent actions, so lately he has a police officer that follows him around, to make sure there is no trouble. Glen has helped the local police precinct with some animal cruelty cases, saying that more and more kittens, even whole litters, are being abandoned every day and not enough locals do anything to prevent or stop this.

Hunchback Hound Quasimodo Thinks He Is Casanova And Steals Everyone’s Hearts
Quasimodo, a purebred German shepherd with short spine syndrome, is gaining fans online with his story. Named after the "Hunchback of Notre Dame" character, Quasi is one of only 13 known dogs in the world with short spine syndrome, a genetic condition, according to Secondhand Hounds.
Quasi is missing a couple of vertebra in his back, but that is not causing him pain. His back cannot be surgically repaired and he is unable to turn his head, but otherwise his condition doesn't affect his day-to-day activities.
The dog was taken in by Secondhand Hounds, animal shelter in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. Rachel Mairose from Secondhand Hounds says that he is goofy and likes girl dogs, he thinks he is <a href="https://rumble.com/v32zud-sweet-casanova-kissing.html" target="_blank">Casanova</a> not <a href="https://rumble.com/v3vej9-the-hunchback-of-notre-dame-playing-at-waukesha-civic-theatre.html" target="_blank">Quasimodo</a>, everyone who meets him falls in love with him almost immediately. Rachel is confident that he is not in pain and does not need to be euthanized, he can do most things that a normal dog can do, with just a few limitations.
Four-year-old Quasimodo was discovered as a stray dog in Kentucky and it took authorities five days to catch him. Now he is enjoying his new life at his home in Secondhand Hounds in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, USA. Secondhand Hounds, which has rescued almost 10,000 dogs since opening in 2009, has received more than 1,200 offers to adopt Quasimodo full-time.
Thanks to his Facebook page Quasimodo has become a global celebrity with nearly 100,000 likes.

Cute Dwarf Dog Lives His Life To The Fullest Despite Of His Condition
This inspiring pup is refusing to let having dwarfism get in the way of living his life to the fullest. German Shepherd Michelangelo Augustine, affectionately known as MikeyGus, was born to proud parents Spartacus and Temperance in Clarksville, Indiana, and at first he seemed just like the rest of his litter.
At six weeks old his owners Amy and Heath Carkuff began to wonder if there was something wrong with the happy puppy as he was much clumsier than his siblings. The mischievous pup lives happily alongside his parents, Lilo the family Shuh Tzu, a brood of chickens and Biscotti the cow, who often lays against the fence so that MikeyGus can snuggle up to her.
When he was 16 weeks it was confirmed that MikeyGus had dwarfism, which has many negative side effects, the <a href="https://rumble.com/v33kwu-do-you-call-me-a-dwarf-.html" target="_blank">bone deformation</a> of all of his long bones.
When MikeyGus turned six months old he suddenly stopped walking entirely but owners hoped that he would learn to walk again and that he just needed some time and encouragement. He was extremely determined and eventually <a href="https://rumble.com/v31cuw-disability-energetic-dog-leg.html" target="_blank">began walking again</a>.
His condition contributed for the family to learn much about determination, ambition, love and serving. Their journey with MikeyGus has been very bittersweet.
He isn't showing any signs of pain even if walking appears to be uncomfortable, but his ears are up and his disposition cheery. MikeyGus has a particularly special bond with the Carkuff’s youngest daughter Samantha, who says MikeyGus is more like a sibling than a pet.

The Backpacking Cat That Travels The US With His Human
An adventurer has found the perfect traveling purr-tner - his house cat Simon. He adopted the feline two years ago, and they have been travelling together across land and water ever since - with Simon normally nestled in his backpack.
He wants to familiarize us with his ‘catventures’ by retelling his story and recounting events that happened along their way. We can find out that all started way back when he was a little kid exploring in the creeks in his backyard. However, <a href="https://rumble.com/v4i24p-animals-landscape-nature-life-nature-forest-portrait.html" target="_blank">his real outdoor career</a> began in college when he started the excursion club. He realized at that moment that that was his calling, that was the way he could help the world and help the earth. So when he graduated college, he knew he needed to take his outdoor adventures on a bigger scale with the help of the media as a key to be able to influence more people on a much larger scale especially those that are unable to travel as much and see as much of the world. With only one difference, his pal Simon, the most loyal cat you can imagine.
Like all cats, Simon loves nature, too. In fact, he is so used to his trips with his owner that whenever his owner walks near the door to go outside, Simon races to the door and gives a short little meow that makes his human know that he’s ready to go out. Simon and his owner have gone on road trips across the US, road trips that have been as long as 20 consecutive hours, they have gone to deserts, they have gone to majestic forests and they have even camped in the snow.
The 35-year-old has been travelling the world for most of his life and has been sharing his travels on social media and as he says having Simon has helped him to embrace more of the journey and really appreciate the moment, <a href="https://rumble.com/v481u3-laws-of-nature.html" target="_blank">appreciate the beauty of mother nature</a>.

Orphaned Baby Elephant Saved From Starvation | WILDEST ANIMAL RESCUES
Animal lovers prepare to have your heart melted as this emotional yet inspiring video emerges! This precious elephant calf was saved from starvation after being separated from her elephant family on the dry African plains. Luckily The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust (DSWT) stepped in after a call from a Big Life Foundation ranger who had spotted the calf wandering the Narraengolo area within the Amboseli-Chyulu ecosystem.
Faith in humanity restored as this group of heroes save this elephant. This adorable elephant calf , now named Esampu according to the area she was found in, seems so happy after it got rescued. Although the calf was not in need of medical treatment, the sorrow over the loss of her family will take time to overcome. It is believed that the Masai practice of elephant spearing could be the reason behind her family’s disappearance.
The DSWT really is an amazing group and organization as animals are precious to this planet and need to be saved if they ever get in trouble! They deserve a pat on the back!
This adorable elephant looks so cute! Don't you wish that you could bring something like that home with you? Check Out India’s Cyclops Baby Goat
A baby goat with one enlarged eye has been born in Assam, India. The kid was born on Wednesday May 10th, and has baffled local villagers. Vets predicted that the goat, who also has only one ear, would die within a few days but he has defied expectations and stayed alive longer than expected.
The condition which causes these defects is called cyclopia and can also affect horses, pigs and cows. The cause for this condition is the brain's failure to separate the two hemispheres, which in turn causes the skull to form a single eye socket, with lid and lashes missing.
The cause of this genetic condition is uncertain, although it is possible that a toxin ingested during pregnancy can be culprit. The upper and lower lips can be present, but are usually small, and the upper jaw is short and teeth are missing, which is why the normal sized tongue protrudes. Horses, pigs, cows, cats and even dusky sharks have been known to get affected with this condition.
The goat’s owner Mukhuri Das, says that he was really shocked when he saw the <a href="https://rumble.com/v30m2w-cute-baby-is-a-natural-goat-whisperer.html" target="_blank">baby goat</a>. At first they thought that the neighbors would ridicule them, but instead people have been travelling from all around the area to see the “gift from God”, making them famous.

Adorable Prairie Dog Befriends German Shepherd
In Four Worth Texas, nurse Taylor Williams and her husband Brad have two adorable and unusual dogs, Prince the prairie dog and the German shepherd named Banksy. They were first introduced in April 2016. Even though they have huge size difference, the two of them created a bond immediately after they saw each other for the first time in their lives.
"We got Prince on 21 April 2016 and named him Prince after the singer because he passed away on that same day. There is definitely a learning curve with raising a <a href="https://rumble.com/v337lf-fat-prairie-dog-eating-a-carrot.html" target="_blank">prairie dog</a>. We just assumed it was like having a regular dog - we were wrong. He has so much personality and is so smart. He actually has to go to time out when he is in trouble! We read many, many books and referred to Gena Seaberg, a specialist in prairie dogs." says Prince and Banksy’s owner, Taylor.
This married couple has one more pet, the 11-year-old Yorkshire Terrier named Coco. But this girl stays out of Prince and Banksy’s way as she likes her quiet time, while the others have formed an unbreakable bond and from the moment they met each other, they spend hours playing every day. 6-year-old Banksy is very loving and he is always licking his little brother Prince who is <a href="https://rumble.com/v41whr-pet-of-the-week-spunky-is-a-loving-8-year-old-hound-mix-needing-a-home-for-.html" target="_blank">spunky</a> but also very loving towards Banksy. Tiny Prince likes to test his older brother’s patience with his boundless energy so he teases nips on Banksy’s toes and likes to pounce on his face.
As it seems, Prince doesn't really seem to get too annoyed with Banksy. What a lovable unusual friends these two are!

Big Predator Cat Befriends Impala In Wilderness
The wild wild world outside our door is full of wonders. You can’t predict someone’s actions any more than you can predict the weather. It just doesn’t happen. The inner workings of the mind are off limits to us humans, and this applies to anything walking and breathing on this earth.
That is why this footage is so precious. Most <a href=https://rumble.com/v32rf1-caught-on-camera-crocodile-catches-a-leaping-impala.html”” target=”_blank”>impalas</a> run for their lives at the sight of a leopard - but this plucky youngster seems determined to befriend one. It shows no fear and it braves the wrath of the fierce cat.
The bizarre interaction filmed in the Kruger National Park, South Africa, sees the baby animal nuzzling the killer cat's nose and mouth as it lazes in a clearing. And even when the <a href=https://rumble.com/v32rg8-caught-on-camera-leopard-runs-off-with-gopro.html”” target=”_blank”>leopard</a> starts playing a little rough, the newborn makes no attempt to leave - and even follows it around. If we’d have anything to compare it to, we’d say that it looks as though these two are acting like two siblings. The older brother isn’t too fond of its little sister’s pestering and is quite vocal about it, but the youngster is having none of it. Friendships like this one are very far and inbetween in the wilderness, making this footage very precious. The encounter was filmed by game ranger Estiaan Houy, 31, while out on safari with British and American guests. Don’t you just wish you’d have been there witnessing this first-hand? Absolutely breathtaking!

Elephant Saves Baby Calf From Drowning In River
A female elephant rescues her baby from drowning in Sabah, Borneo. A mother elephant calls on her family to help get her calf up a steep muddy riverbank in Sabah, Borneo on August 3. When it proved too difficult to do alone, the mother called on two other females for assistance, and between them, they got the baby to safety.
There’s a term “elephant mom," which means that a mother was overprotective of her children. The origin of the word is well justified - female elephants are very nurturing and protective of their young.
The motherly instinct in elephants is so strong that other females in a herd have been known to rally to the aid of a mother to protect her calf. <a href="https://rumble.com/v32z3c-mother-elephant-tries-to-rouse-her-unconscious-calf.html" target="_blank">Elephant moms</a> are quick to intervene whenever their babies are in any kind of danger. They show some serious parental skills and shower their babies with a lot of affection.
Watch how the mother uses her trunk to help the little calf climb through the muddy bank, pushing it uphill. Elephants are born with these maternal instincts, and this is not the only case of calf rescue. <a href="https://rumble.com/v3ci3q-elephants-band-together-to-rescue-drowning-calf.html" target="_blank">This amazing duo presented excellent teamwork skills</a> and quickly brought baby calf out of the water. It is nice to always an elephant to watch your back!
Elephants are the largest land animals in the world. They are well-known for living in matriarchal female-led social groups, and they are the most beloved animals in the world and the largest land animals.
Just like every mom, elephants mom will do everything for their children, they love them, protect them and will be there for them no matter what. Just check out the quick reaction of this female elephant. We are amazed by elephants!
The female elephants are the leader of the herd. They are considered to be the smartest, the most responsible and the ones who will take care of the herd like no one else. They are the role-models to all the moms!
The oldest and biggest female, the matriarch encourages the group. She realizes best where to discover nourishment and how to maintain a strategic distance from a threat. Male elephants will leave the crowds around their thirteenth year, and travel alone or in lone ranger gatherings. Elephants move around a great deal looking for sustenance.
Female elephants start reproducing at 11 years and proceed through their fifties, bringing forth one calf at regular intervals. More established and bigger guys rule the reproducing, winning the acknowledgment of females in warmth. They carry the babies for 22 months, and they only give birth to one calf that weighs about 200 pounds ( 90kg). Their babies grow surrounded by their families, and all of them take good care of the baby.
Their family bonds and intelligence are fascinating to all humans and cultures. And we are going to reveal one more secret about them? They are not scared of mice; they are just afraid of their fast and sudden movements!

Elephant Attack: Circus Animal Lifts Car Off The Ground
Loose circus elephant smashes a car and terrifies holidaymakers after being beaten by a handler. This video was filmed in Danish beach town Karrebaeksminde and the shocking footage was captured by Norwegian car salesman tourist Oddmar Nygard, 48, on July 11 who was on a holiday with his family.
Three elephants become agitated after being bathed in the sea in front of a large crowd. The <a href="https://rumble.com/v3musd-elephants-in-pool.html" target="_blank">bathing of elephants</a> in the sea is an annual tradition which is popular with the locals. When circus workers started to lose control, the huge beasts approached onlookers. One of the animals seems very distressed and shows rage after being struck with a metal crowbar by one of the keepers.
This rampaging <a href="https://rumble.com/v30ztr-elephants-on-parade.html" target="_blank">circus elephant</a> smashes a car and terrifies holidaymakers after appearing to be beaten by a handler. The angry animal shows incredible display of brute strength, and lifts up a Skoda Fabia with its tusks. This elephant puts very little effort to push the vehicle up, which shows his amazing strength.
“There were many cars and a lot of people in the street, the elephants probably got a bit stressed by this", says Oddmar. Obviously the elephant got somehow irritated after being hit and started going after the vehicle.
When the car owner tried to reach his car, circus staff stopped him as car windows started to crush and there was a lot of damage in the front of the car.
Many of the witnesses were scared when the situation escalated, even the circus staff, as the animal was out of control. Elephants are massive creatures and nobody knows what they are capable to do when they are distressed.

Sweet Little Pitbull Learns To Swim In Bathtub
Dogs are well-known for the friendship they build with humans. While some of them are being raised as pets, others get their skills upgraded and are turned into protection dogs. Dark Dynasty K9s in New Hampshire, USA, specialises in training elite protection dogs for the police, celebrities and billionaire clients around the world.
One of their world-famous dogs is the 175lb Pitbull Hulk. Recently he and his mate Roxy have had another <a href="https://rumble.com/v30iaz-8-week-old-puppies-pee-on-command.html" target="_blank">litter of puppies</a>. Four weeks have passed since they were born, so now has come the time when these cute little puppies should start getting familiar with their surroundings. The first step is introducing them to the water. It is very important for these dogs to not be afraid of the water, because when they grow up, they should be able to jump in every situation and defend their owner.
"Water is an element of life and if the dog is going to be a top protection dog they really need to be prepared for anything." says Marlon Grennan from Dark Dynasty.
That’s why Marlon and Lisa Grennan prepare Hulk and his latest brood for a <a href="https://rumble.com/v3414u-milos-first-swimming-lesson.html" target="_blank">swimming lesson</a> in the bathtub. First the puppies are being introduced to the warm water coming from the faucet and later they give it a try in the bathtub filled with water.
The bravest of them all is tiny Tigger. Such a suitable name for a fighter like him. He starts kicking his paws the moment he touches the water surface. Sure, he drinks a little from the water, but it doesn’t matter, because he has overcome his fear. After him, his siblings try their luck in the bath.
The swimming lessons are over, so now it’s time for pappa Hulk to nuzzle with his son Tigger. Watch how this cute dog dynasty prepares for its future challenges!

These Ducks Love This Dog So Much, It Sometimes Hurts
If you have ever been in love, even just once, then you will know the ultimate universal truth - love hurts. When people say it, they usually mean it metaphorically. But for one pooch in Germany, love literally hurts and there is practically nothing he can do about it.
These saucy birds go quackers for this <a href="https://rumble.com/v31l7y-labrador-retriever-loves-leaf-piles.html" target="_blank">Labrador Retriever</a>, trying to mate with him at every opportunity! According to their owner, Ulrike Kersjes, 49, from Berlin, Germany, the four frisky male Indian runner ducks have developed an attraction to her shy pet pooch, who's named Miedoso.
Ulrike claims that the reason these four Casanovas have imprinted on poor, old Miedoso so much is because their hormones are running wild and there are no female Indian runner ducks near her home in Berlin. But hey, love knows no boundaries, right?
“It always looks like the four of them are putting their heads together to think up a plan," she says in the video. “While the first one observes the situation, the other three all begin to jump on the dog."
Initially Ulrike thought the dog might be the one to hurt the young ducklings, but as the birds grew she realized her dog was the one that needed protection from the ducks.
Unfortunately for the <a href="https://rumble.com/v30q0s-5000-ducks-go-for-a-walk.html" target="_blank">ducks</a>, the dog does not share enough common DNA for them to mate and create a viable hybrid offspring. Still, what wouldn’t we do to see what a real life dird (dog + bird) would look like.

Tibetan Mastiffs - The 200lbs 'Bear Dogs' | BIG DOGZ
HUGE dogs with coats that make them look like bears are being produced at a kennel which claims to offer the “dog of your dreams”. Aleksandr and Nina Khilyk run Kinu Liutas Kennels, a Ukraine-based business that’s home to some of the most unusual looking dogs in the world. The couple specialise in the Tibetan Mastiff – an ancient breed notable for their large frames and extremely hairy coats. Nina told Barcroft Studios: “The Tibetan Mastiff is one of the most ancient breeds in the world. They're flawless guards, excellent friends and companions. Kinu Liutas is the most unique breeding ground in the world. It has something no other place has. It has a dog of your dreams.” The breed can grow to as tall as 80cm, with the largest Mastiff at Kinu Liutas measuring 75cm. At Kinu Liutas, the Tibetan Mastiffs are afforded a luxurious existence with their own bathroom, a training room, a room for puppies, and very soon a swimming pool just for dogs. In fact, one whole floor of the Khilyk’s four-story house is dedicated to the dogs. And while the couple say they breed for themselves, they have managed to establish a successful business from their dogs, and have never sold a puppy for less than 10,000 Euros. But the main thing for Aleksandr and Nina is simply owning such rare dogs. Aleksandr said: “When you come home from work and 100 kilos of joy run towards you and push you onto the floor and you can't get up. Then three more happy little puppies join him – that's the happiness.”
