State Anthem of Indiana - On the Banks of the Wabash (Instrumental)
'Round my Indiana homesteads wave the cornfields,
In the distance loom the woodlands clear and cool.
Oftentimes my thoughts revert to scenes of childhood,
Where I first received my lessons, nature's school.
But one thing there is missing in the picture,
Without her face it seems so incomplete.
I long to see my mother in the doorway,
As she stood there years ago, her boy to greet.
CHORUS:
Oh, the moonlight's fair tonight along the Wabash,
From the fields there comes the breath of newmown hay.
Through the sycamores the candle lights are gleaming,
On the banks of the Wabash, far away.
Many years have passed since I strolled by the river,
Arm in arm, with sweetheart Mary by my side,
It was there I tried to tell her that I loved her,
It was there I begged of her to be my bride.
Long years have passed since I strolled thro' there churchyard.
She's sleeping there, my angel, Mary dear,
I loved her, but she thought I didn't mean it,
Still I'd give my future were she only here.

State Anthem of Iowa - The Song of Iowa (Instrumental)
You asked what land I love the best, Iowa, tis Iowa,
The fairest State of all the west, Iowa, O! Iowa,
From yonder Misissippi's stream
To where Missouri's waters gleam
O! fair it is as poet's dream, Iowa, in Iowa.
See yonders fields of tasseled corn, Iowa in Iowa,
Where plenty fills her golden horn, Iowa in Iowa,
See how her wonderous praries shine.
To yonder sunset’s purpling line,
O! happy land, O! land of mine, Iowa, O! Iowa.
And she has maids whose laughing eyes, Iowa, O! Iowa.
To him whose loves were Paradise, Iowa, O! Iowa
O! happiest fate that e’er was known.
Such eyes to shine for one alone,
To call such beauty all his own. Iowa, O! Iowa
Go read the story of thy past. Iowa, O! Iowa
What glorious deeds, what fame thou hast! Iowa, O! Iowa
So long as time’s great cycle runs,
Or nations weep their fallen ones,
Thou’lt not forget thy patriot sons, Iowa, O! Iowa

State Anthem of Illinois - Illinois Song (Instrumental)
By thy rivers gently flowing, Illinois, Illinois,
O'er thy prairies verdant growing, Illinois, Illinois,
Comes an echo on the breeze.
Rustling through the leafy trees, and its mellow tones are these, Illinois, Illinois,
And its mellow tones are these, Illinois.
From a wilderness of prairies, Illinois, Illinois,
Straight thy way and never varies, Illinois, Illinois,
Till upon the inland sea,
Stands thy great commerical tree, turning all the world to thee, Illinois, Illinois,
Turning all the world to thee, Illinois.
When you heard your country calling, Illinois, Illinois,
Where the shot and shell were falling, Illinois, Illinois,
When the Southern host withdrew,
Pitting Gray against the Blue, There were none more brave than you, Illinois, Illinois,
There were none more brave than you, Illinois.
Not without thy wondrous story, Illinois, Illinois,
Can be writ the nation's glory, Illinois, Illinois,
On the record of thy years,
Abraham Lincoln's name appears, Grant and Logan, and our tears, Illinois, Illinois,
Grant and Logan, and our tears, Illinois.

State Anthem of Idaho - Here We Have Idaho (Instrumental)
You've heard of the wonders our land does possess,
It's beautiful valleys and hills,
The majestic forests where nature abounds,
We love every nook and rill.
And here we have Idaho
Winning her way to fame.
Silver and gold in the sunlight blaze,
and romance lies in her name.
Singing, we're singing of you,
Ah, proudly too,
All our lives thru, we'll go
Singing, singing of you,
Singing of Idaho.
There's truly one state in this great land of ours
Where ideals can be realized.
The pioneers made it so for you and me,
A legacy we'll always prize.

National Anthem of Hungary - Himnusz (Instrumental)
The title in the original manuscript is "Hymnus" - a Latin word meaning "song of praise". The phonetic transcription "Himnusz" replaced the original Latin spelling over time, so too the word "himnusz" took on the meaning "national anthem".
Isten, áldd meg a magyart
Jó kedvvel, bőséggel,
Nyújts feléje védő kart,
Ha küzd ellenséggel;
Bal sors akit régen tép,
Hozz rá víg esztendőt,
Megbűnhődte már e nép
A múltat s jövendőt!

Általad nyert szép hazát
Bendegúznak vére.
S merre zúgnak habjai
Tiszának, Dunának,

Felvirágozának.

Ért kalászt lengettél,

S nyögte Mátyás bús hadát
Bécsnek büszke vára.

National Anthem of Honduras - Himno Nacional de Honduras (Instrumental)
The "National Anthem of Honduras" (Spanish: Himno Nacional de Honduras) was adopted in 1915. The lyrics were written by Augusto Constantino Coello and the music composed by Carlos Hartling.
al reclamo viril de Dantón;
era Francia que enviaba a la muerte
la cabeza del rey consagrado
y que alzaba, soberbia a su lado
el altar de la Diosa razón.
Tú también ¡Oh mi patria! te alzaste
de tu sueño servil y profundo;
tú también enseñaste al mundo
destrozando el infame eslabón.
Y en tu suelo bendito, tras la alta
cabellera de monte salvaje
como un ave de negro plumaje
la colonia fugaz se perdió.
Por guardar ese emblema divino
marcharemos ¡Oh patria! a la muerte;
generosa será nuestra suerte
si morimos pensando en tu amor.
Defendiendo tu santa bandera,
y en tus pliegues gloriosos cubiertos,
serán muchos, Honduras, tus muertos,
pero todos caerán con honor.

Anthem of the Holy Roman Empire (to 1806) - Gott erhalte Franz den Kaiser (Instrumental)
"Gott erhalte Franz den Kaiser" (English: "God Save Emperor Francis", lit. '"God save Francis the Emperor"') was a personal anthem to Francis II, Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire, with lyrics by Lorenz Leopold Haschka and music by Joseph Haydn. It is sometimes called the "Kaiserhymne" (Emperor's Hymn).
Gott erhalte Franz, den Kaiser,
Unsern guten Kaiser Franz!
Lange lebe Franz, der Kaiser,
In des Glückes hellstem Glanz!
Ihm erblühen Lorbeerreiser,
Wo er geht, zum Ehrenkranz!
Gott erhalte Franz, den Kaiser,
Unsern guten Kaiser Franz!
Laß von seiner Fahne Spitzen
Strahlen Sieg und Fruchtbarkeit!
Laß in seinem Rate Sitzen
Weisheit, Klugheit, Redlichkeit;
Und mit Seiner Hoheit Blitzen
Schalten nur Gerechtigkeit!
Gott erhalte Franz, den Kaiser,
Unsern guten Kaiser Franz!

State Anthem of Hawaii - Hawaiʻi Ponoʻī (Instrumental)
"Hawaiʻi Ponoʻī" ("Hawaiʻi's Own") was adopted as the national anthem of the Kingdom of Hawaii in 1876. Hawaii became a U.S. state in 1959, and the song was officially adopted as a state symbol in 1967. The melody is reminiscent of "God Save the Queen" and the Prussian anthem "Heil dir im Siegerkranz". "Hawaiʻi Ponoʻī" is commonly sung at sporting events in Hawaii, immediately after the U.S. national anthem.
(Hawaiian Lyrics)
Hawaiʻi ponoʻī,

National Anthem Hawaii (1876-1893) (Instrumental)
The death of the bachelor King Kamehameha V, who did not name an heir—resulted in the popular election of Lunalilo over Kalākaua. Lunalilo died the next year, also without naming an heir. In 1874, the election was contested within the legislature between Kalākaua and Emma, Queen Consort of Kamehameha IV.
After riots broke out, the United States and Britain landed troops on the islands to restore order. Governance passed to the House of Kalākaua.
In 1876, shortly after David Kalākaua started his reign as Hawaii’s last king, the Hawaiian anthem was replaced with “Hawaiʻi ponoʻī”, which Kalākaua himself had written the lyrics to; the music was by the royal bandmaster.
When the Hawaiian monarchy was replaced with first a republic then with American control, the anthem was abolished. It was a natural choice, however, for a state song after Hawaii became a state in 1959, and was officially decreed as a state symbol in 1967. The last anthem of the Kingdom of Hawaii, now the state song, is still sung at sporting events, after the national anthem.

National Anthem Hawaii - He Mele Lāhui Hawaiʻi (1866-1876) (Instrumental)
During the 1780s and 1790s, chiefs often fought for power. After a series of battles that ended in 1795, all inhabited islands were subjugated under a single ruler, who became known as King Kamehameha the Great. He established the House of Kamehameha, a dynasty that ruled the kingdom until 1872.
After Kamehameha II inherited the throne in 1819, American Protestant missionaries to Hawaii converted many Hawaiians to Christianity. They used their influence to end many traditional practices of the people. The islands' first Christan king was Kamehameha III. Hiram Bingham I, a prominent Protestant missionary, was a trusted adviser to the monarchy during this period.
Other missionaries and their descendants became active in commercial and political affairs, leading to conflicts between the monarchy and its restive American subjects. Catholic and Mormon missionaries were also active in the kingdom, but they converted a minority of the Native Hawaiian population.
Missionaries from each major group administered to the leper colony at Kalaupapa on Molokaʻi, which was established in 1866 and operated well into the 20th century. The best known were Father Damien and Mother Marianne Cope, both of whom were canonized in the early 21st century as Roman Catholic saints.
The Kingdom of Hawaii, established at the beginning of the 19th century, at first did not have a national anthem, and used the melody of the British “God Save the King”. In 1860, the melody of “God Save the King” was still used, but words by Prince (later King) Lunalilo were written as the result of a contest held in the islands to write Hawaiian lyrics for the tune, the work was titled “E Ola Ke Alii Ke Akua” (God Save the King) and these lyrics were used until 1866.
In that year, the king had mentioned that Hawaii lacks a Hawaiian tune for their national anthem, as they were still using that of the United Kingdom. Lydia Kamakaʻeha Dominis, a member of the royal family with a keen interest in music composition, composed “He Mele Lāhui Hawaiʻi” as a result. Kamakaʻeha Dominis was later the last Hawaiian monarch, reigning as Queen Liliʻuokalani from 1891 to 1893.

1. Almighty Father bend thine ear
And listen to a nation’s prayer
That lowly bows before thy throne
And seeks thy fostering care
Grant your peace throughout the land
Over these sunny sea girt isles
Keep the nation’s life, oh Lord,
And on our sovereign smile
Chorus:
Grant your peace throughout the land
Over these sunny isles
Keep the nations life, oh Lord
And upon our sovereign smile
Guard him with your tender care
Give him length of years to reign
On the throne his fathers won
Bless the nation once again
Give the king your loving grace
And with wisdom from on high
Prosperous lead his people on
As beneath your watchful eye
Grant your peace throughout the land
Chorus:
Bless O Lord our country’s chiefs
Grant them wisdom so to live
That our people may be saved
And to You the glory give
Watch over us day by day
King and people with your love
For our hope is all in You
Bless us, You who reign above
Grant your peace throughout the land

Heil Dir Hannover, heil!
Freude werd’ Dir zuteil,
Freude stets mehr.
Jauchze, Du Engels-Chor,

Mit Deinem Freudenchor:
Gebt Gott die Ehr’!
Gott gab den Freudentag,
was tief verborgen lag,
kam nun ans Licht.
Zage nicht, Erdensohn,
wenn schwarz die Wolken droh’n,
Gott hält auf seinem Thron

Er führt alles aus,
schützt unser Welfenhaus

Eintracht ist Gottes Band:
König und Vaterland
reichen sich Herz und Hand
heilig und warm.
