Mick Jagger Claims to Have Slept With More Than 4,000 Women in his Lifetime
When it comes to love, Mick Jagger ‘can’t get no satisfaction.’ The lead singer and guitarist for The Rolling Stones had romances with a long line of beautiful women and claims to have slept with more than 4,000 ladies in his lifetime.
But while the vast majority of the 77-year-old rocker’s past escapades didn’t stand the test of time, his sexual relationships did leave behind lasting relics: eight talented Jagger children. That’s right. The Rolling Stones frontman has fathered eight children with five different mothers (and counting.) Here’s what you need to know about these talented kids.
Mick Jagger and Marsha Hunt’s Child
Born October 4, 1970, Karis Hunt Jagger is Mick’s first and only child with model/actress Marsha Hunt, who the rock star dated in his early 20s. Karis has a degree in modern history from Yale and has worked as a philanthropist and volunteer teacher. In 2000, Mick gave his eldest daughter away to actor Johnathan Watson. The couple has two children: Zak and Mazie.
Mick Jagger and Bianca Jagger’s Child
Mick’s next eldest child, Jade Sheena Jezebel Jagger was born on October 21, 1971. Jade is the only child of Mick and his ex-wife, actress Bianca Jagger. After growing up in the company of her father’s friends like David Bowie, Andy Warhol, and bandmate Keith Richards, Jade lived the life of a socialite. That’s until she founded Jade Jagger Inc., a successful jewelry company, in 2009. Jade has three children: Amba, Assisi, and Ray. Assisi gave birth to her daughter Ezra in 2014, making Mick into a great-grandfather.
Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall’s Children
Elizabeth “Lizzy” Scarlett Jagger was born on March 2, 1984, the first child of Mick and American model Jerry Hall. Like her mom, Lizzy has held a successful career in the fashion industry, modeling for brands like Chanel, Tommy Hilfiger, and Lancome.
The second child between Mick and Jerry, James Leroy Augustin Jagger was born August 28, 1985. James is the frontman of Turbogeist, a punk rock band. Mick’s eldest son has also dabbled in acting, performing in plays, and appearing in the HBO tv series, Vinyl. In 2015, James Jagger married Anoushka Sharma, a shop assistant who worked for his sister Jade’s jewelry company.
Georgia May Jagger was born on January 12, 1992, as the third child and youngest daughter of Mick and Jerry. With a massive social media following and a successful modeling career, Georgia May is probably the most well-known of Mick’s kids. The model/designer is also an ambassador for Project Zero, a global campaign working to save the ocean and fight climate change.
The final child between Mick and Jerry, Gabriel Jagger was born on December 9, 1997. In addition to being super into fitness, the teen reads and writes poetry. Unlike his older sister Georgia, Mick Jagger’s son stays away from social media.
Mick Jagger and Luciana Gimenez’s Child
Lucas Maurice Morad Jagger was born on May 18, 1999, to Mick and Brazilian model and TV host Luciana Gimenez. Mick who was still with Jerry, insisted on a paternity test. A two-year court battle over child support in addition to a painful breakup with Jerry ensued. However, Mick and his son are reportedly close, Mick even leaves dad jokes on Lucas’ Instagram pics.
Mick Jagger and Melanie Hamrick’s Child
At age 73, Mick welcomed his eighth child with his girlfriend Melanie Hamrick, a ballet dancer who is more than 40 years his junior. Deveraux Octavian Basil Jagger, “Dev” for short, was born on December 8, 2016. The rock ‘n’ roll legend’s youngest child currently lives with his mom in New York, where she continues to perform as a ballerina. The young Dev is technically the great uncle of Mick Jagger’s great-grandchild.

Cole Hauser + Cynthia Daniel: Inside the 'Yellowstone' Star's Real Life Love Story
Though we love watching Cole Hauser's on-screen love story as Rip Wheeler in Yellowstone opposite Kelly Reilly's Beth Dutton, in reality, he's been happily married to the same woman since 2006, former actress Cynthia Daniel.
If Cynthia looks familiar, that's because she's best known for her childhood acting days where she and her twin sister, Brittany Daniel, co-starred in the TV series, Sweet Valley High. Prior to starring as Elizabeth and Jessica Wakefield in the show, which was based on the book series by Francine Pascal, the twins were also recognizable from their series of commercials playing the Doublemint Twins for Doublemint Gum.
After her Sweet Valley High School days, Cynthia only appeared in The Basketball Diaries opposite Leonardo DiCaprio and her sister's series That '80s Show before she officially retired from acting. Her sister Brittany you most likely recognize from TV shows like The Game and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. She's also known for the comedy films Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser and White Chicks as well as the sitcom Blackish.
After Cynthia retired from acting in 2002, the Gainesville, Florida native married actor Cole Hauser. She became a professional photographer and started her own business, Five Arrows Photography. Though we don't know the specifics of how they came together, the couple tied the knot on December 22, 2006, and have since welcomed three children -- sons Colt and Ryland and daughter, Steely Rose.
While her husband is busy on set, Cynthia, or "Cyn" as her family and friends call her, definitely keeps busy. She and Brittany have been working on their own lifestyle blog, Sweet Collection XO, where they share a little bit of everything including family photos from vacations. They are also actively involved with Stand Up To Cancer since Brittany previously battled stage IV non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.

Lisa Kelly Was a Badass on “Ice Road Truckers”
History Channel's Ice Road Truckers (IRT) had a good long run with its 11 seasons. Not many truck drivers can last very long out in the harsh snow storms of Canada and Alaska, but there was one woman who knew she had what it took. Lisa Kelly was originally featured as the first and only woman on the reality TV show until Maya Sieber was introduced, but she quickly became a popular character until the show ended in 2017.
Originally born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, her family made the big move to Wasilla, Alaska when she was just six years old. She claimed that she had no intention of becoming a truck driver, but watching her parents medical careers scared her from going the same route. She returned to Grand Rapids for a second time to attend Cornerstone University, but later dropped out. Instead, she held a wide variety of small jobs including being a and riding motocross. It wasn't until she had a job as a pizza delivery driver that she realized she loved being behind the wheel. This ultimately pushed her into getting her CDL.
Ice Road Truckers
In a recent interview during Trucking HR Canada’s annual Women with Drive event, Lisa opened up and gave people an inside look into what it was like broadcasting her career as an American trucker on the dangerous Alaskan roads for the show.
Lisa landed her first big rig job with a trucking company by the name of Carlile Transportation. It was there that she realized just how hard she had to work to prove herself. She stated that because she was a woman, she felt as if people were waiting for her to fail, and that she would be quick to get called out on mistakes that other drivers would normally get away with.
Her boss forwarded a number for the TV show and asked if she wanted to be part of it, and Lisa agreed before she even knew what it was about. After getting more info, it was made clear that she was picked to be "eye candy" for the viewers. This only motivated her further to prove that she was capable of more than just looking good. The more she drove, the bigger her fan base got. While in the long run she may not have been portrayed exactly how she wanted in the show, she still undoubtedly proved that she was a hard working woman.

Many articles came out with Lisa as the subject, but they focused on looks more than anything. When asked how she felt about an article calling her the "Sexiest trucker alive", she chuckled and noted that it was better than being known as the fattest trucker alive. Regardless, her time on the show granted her with more fame than she had before, and she talked about the multiple fans that stop her along her journeys.
Not only was she part of the show for eight seasons, but she also got involved in the spinoff, IRT deadliest roads with Rick Yemm and Alex Debogorski, where she spent a couple of months driving in India, Bolivia, and Peru. In later years of IRT, she began working for Darrell Ward's new company before his death after season ten. After finishing off the last season with the show, she's extremely grateful for her time spent on screen, and admitted “I don’t know how it went so long. I’m just pleasantly surprised”.
Personal Life
Still residing in Alaska, Lisa has been married to Traves Kelly since 2008, but they do not have any kids. Traves is an Aleut Native Alaskan and big into motocross, which is perfect for Lisa. In her spare time, she also enjoys riding dirt bikes, as well as horse riding, snowboarding, skydiving, and hang gliding. Safe to say she enjoys living life on the edge.
Lisa is also a big animal lover. She owns a miniature horse named rocky, and a cat named Tanzi. During her time on IRT: deadliest roads, she even brought a puppy for the ride, which she named Rampur Jackson. After the show was finished, the puppy was happily taken home by one of the producers from the show.
Lisa proved to everyone that just because she has good looks and blonde hair, doesn't mean she's blind to hard work. This chick is probably tougher than most of the men on the roads today. Maybe one day we will see her return to the television screen for another show, but until then we wish her the best of luck out on the roads.

Best Bass Fishing Lures
Here are some of the best bass fishing lures for tried-and-true consistency.
Looking to add a few new baits to your collection? There are thousands of hard baits, soft plastics and buzzbaits to choose from, from well-known brands to emerging fishing companies.
We can't claim to know about every great bait on the planet, nor can we say what exactly will work in your neck of the woods or with your rod and reel, but we have collected 10 of our favorites below for your perusal.
Strike King Red Eye Shad
Need a shallow-water lure that's perfect for fall bass fishing? Bass fishing mastermind Kevin VanDam used this gold-tinged, lipless crankbait beauty to score his third Bassmaster Classic win in 2011. If that's not reason enough to add this one to your arsenal, we don't know what is.
Lucky Craft Live Pointer 80DD
With an impressive run of public review and a unique, long-bodied design, this lure already has a reputation for helping anglers to notch extremely productive bass fishing sessions.
River2Sea Dahlberg Clackin' Crayfish 90
Capture the hogs while they're hungry for crawfish with the Dahlberg.
Jackall Soul Shad10-lures
Used by Cliff Pace to win the 2013 Bassmaster Classic, the Jackall Soul Shad, just like the Strike King Red Eye, is perfect for the difficult waters.
Rebel Pop-R
A longtime classic that's risen to the top of the topwater lures category, the Rebel Pop-R will drive them bonkers with its topwater action.
Heddon Sonar Lure
Adjustable action? The Heddon Sonar has it, and is a go-to for many big game fishermen.
Rapala Ultra Light Crank
Forget larger lures. The 1.5-inch Rapala Ultra Light Crankbait is a perfect baitfish imitator that can sink to the bottom of many a bass-ridden river or stream late in the season. That it comes from one of the most noted lure manufacturers in the world only sweetens the deal.
Gary Yamamoto Tate' Pencil Bait
Tate', which means "dance" in Japanese, is a classic walk-the-dog topwater pencil bait with more character and zip than its counterparts. Big bass can barely resist, and the treble hooks will hold on tight.
Southern Lure Scum Dog
You have to add a frog to your tackle box, and the Scum Dog might be the best of the bunch.
SPRO BBZ-1 Rat
The SPRO BBZ-1 Rat might give some the willies, but it will drive hungry bass, and big ones at that, absolutely wild.
If you actually want to catch bass instead of just fish for them, then these bass lures should sit right next to your plastic worms and jig heads in your tackle box.

Andy Griffith's 1953 Comedy Bit 'What it Was, Was Football' Still Makes Us Laugh
Andy Griffith was one of the biggest television stars during the 1960s, reaching peak fame from his starring role in The Andy Griffith Show. But did you know that before his successful acting career he rose to fame as a monologist?
One of his most successful monologues was "What It Was, Was Football" which follows a country preacher who accidentally finds himself at a football game and doesn't really know what to make of it. The original recording was produced in North Carolina and mass-produced by Capitol Records in 1953.
The performance charted at number 9 on the billboards and was instrumental in boosting Griffith's television and comedy career. It even landed him an appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show in 1954. The script of the monologue was printed in Mad magazine in 1958 and even turned into a short film in 1997.
Watch the full monologue to see Griffith's hilarious performance or read it below.
“What It Was, Was Football”
It was back last October, I believe it was.
We was going to hold a tent service off at this college town, and we got there about dinnertime on Saturday. Different ones of us thought that we ought to get us a mouthful to eat before we set up the tent.
So we got off the truck and followed this little bunch of people through this small little bitty patch of woods there, and we come up on a big sign. It says, “Get Something to Eat Here.”
I went up and got me two hot dogs and a big orange drink, and before I could take a mouthful of that food, this whole raft of people come up around me and got me to where I couldn’t eat nothing, up like, and I dropped my big orange drink. I did.
Well, friends, they commenced to move, and there wasn’t so much that I could do but move with them.
Well, we commenced to go through all kinds of doors and gates and I don’t know what-all, and I looked up over one of ’em and it says, “North Gate.” We kept on a-going through there, and pretty soon we come up on a young boy and he says, “Ticket, please.”
And I says, “Friend, I don’t have a ticket; I don’t even know where it is that I’m a-going!” I did.
Well, he says, “Come out as quick as you can.”
And I says, “I’ll do ’er; I’ll turn right around the first chance I get.”
Well, we kept on a-moving through there, and pretty soon everybody got where it was that they was a-going, because they parted and I could see pretty good. I could. And what I seen was this whole raft of people a-sittin’ on these two banks and a-lookin’ at one another across this pretty little green cow pasture. Well, they was.
Somebody had took and drawed white lines all over it and drove posts in it, and I don’t know what-all, and I looked down there, and I seen five or six convicts a-running up and down and a-blowing whistles. They was. And then I looked down there, I seen these pretty girls wearin’ these little bitty short dresses and a-dancing around, and so I sit down and thought I’d see what it was that was a-going to happen. I did.
About the time I got set down good, I looked down there and I seen 30 or 40 men come a-runnin’ out of one end of a great big outhouse down there. They did. And everybody where I was a-settin’ got up and hollered! And about that time, 30 or 40 come runnin’ out of the other end of that outhouse, and the other bank-full, they got up and hollered.
And I asked this fella that was a sittin’ beside of me, “Friend, what is it that they’re a-hollerin’ for?”
Well, he whopped me on the back and he says, “Buddy, have a drink!” “Well,” I says, “I believe I will have another big orange.” And I got it and set back down.
When I got there again I seen that them men had got in two little bitty bunches down there real close together, and they voted. They did. They voted and elected one man apiece, and them two men come out in the middle of that cow pasture and shook hands like they hadn’t seen one another in a long time.
Then a convict come over to where they was a-standin’, and he took out a quarter, and they commenced to odd man right there! They did. After a while I seen what it was they was odd-manning for. It was that both bunches-full of them men wanted this funny-lookin’ little punkin to play with. They did.
And I know, friends, that they couldn’t eat it because they kicked it the whole evenin’ and it never busted.
But, anyhow, what I was telling was, both bunches-full wanted that thing. One bunch got it and it made the other bunch just as mad as they could be! Friends, I seen that evenin’ the awfulest fight that I have ever seen in all my life! I did!
They would run at one another and kick one another and throw one another down and stomp on one another and grind their feet in one another and I don’t know what-all and just as fast as one of ’em would get hurt, they’d tote him off and run another one on!
Well, they done that as long as I set there, but pretty soon this boy that had said “Ticket, please,” he come up to me and he says, “Friend, you’re gonna have to leave because it is that you don’t have a ticket.”
And I says, “Well, all right.” And I got up and left.
I don’t know, friends, to this day what it was that they was a-doin’ down there, but I have studied about it. I think it was that it’s some kindly of a contest where they see which bunch-full of them men can take that punkin and run from one end of that cow pasture to the other without gettin’ knocked down or steppin’ in somethin’.

Supercar Blondie Works With the World's Rarest Supercars
When I say the name Alexandra Mary Hirschi, you might not know who that is, but you probably know her alternate name on social media, Supercar Blondie. If you're a car enthusiast, one of her videos is guaranteed to have come across your screen at some point, and they're always pretty eye catching.
Not only is Alex Hirschi a gorgeous woman, but she showcases some of the rarest and most expensive hypercars, luxury cars, and exotics in the entire world. That includes everything from Mercedes concept cars, to top-spec Lamborghini's and Bugatti's. Supercar Blondie is without a doubt living the dream, and she broadcasts it nearly every day for everyone to see.
Born in Brisbane, Australia, she had a passion for cars from a young age. Her very first car was a Mitsubishi Lancer. She studied Business and Journalism at Queensland University of Technology, and made the big move to Dubai in 2008. Let's check out how this Australian got her start and quickly developed into an influencer known worldwide.
Alex Hirschi's Career
By 2009, Hirschi had landed a job as a newsreader and presenter for a talk radio show, Dubai Eye 103.8, where she would work for the next nine years. She actually interviewed some pretty celebrity names on the show, including Liam Neeson, Jake Gyllenhaal, and John Travolta. Her popularity began to grow quickly among the public, but it skyrocketed when she decided to quit the radio job in 2018 to become a full-time social media influencer.
2018 was a big year for Alex. By this point, the Supercar Blondie name was gaining popularity, and she committed everything she had to uploading quality content frequently. By march, Esquire Magazine Middle East named her influencer of the year, and Arabian Business listed her in the Top 50 Most Influential Women In The Arab World. For 2019, they bumped her up to the Top 30. Also during 2018, she appeared on Germany's TV show, GRIP Das Automagazin, co-presenting the rare Bugatti L'Or Blanc and the La Ferrari Aperta.
Her social media presence is absolutely massive. Recently, she won a shorty award for being a breakout Youtuber. With over 24 million followers on Facebook, nearly 7 million on her Instagram account, and strong numbers on TikTok as well, it puts her in a very good position. Automotive brands such as Mclaren, Bentley, Rolls Royce, and Maserati use her online presence to advertise their products through her.
She was featured in an Episode of Top Gear in 2019, but even took it a step further once she announced that she would be hosting a new show on Insight TV, Car Crews. The show focused on discovering a variety of different car cultures throughout the United States. They managed to put out six episodes for the first season.
Net Worth
As expected, a high popularity normally comes with a high income. It's estimated that Alex Hirschi's net worth is right around $15 million. Not too bad for a job that lets you play with expensive supercars. The woman has worked exceptionally hard to create a brand for herself so it's nice to see that hard work starting to pay off. I say starting because at age 34, she's got plenty of years ahead of her.
Take a little extra time to check out some of her videos the next time they pop up. She actually does provide some pretty cool insight on cars that otherwise you would never even know about. You've got to respect a woman that carves her own path in the industry.

Kid Rock’s Net Worth is Definitely Rock Star Level
Kid Rock was born Robert James Ritchie in Romeo, Michigan, on January 17, 1971. The town was near Detroit. This proximity definitely contributed to him wanting to become a rapper later on. His mom is Susan Ritchie and his father, William Bill Ritchie, owned multiple car dealerships. He took to learning how to breakdance, and joined a crew and listened heavily to hip hop- pretty crazy for a Trump supporter eschewing black and brown people, but no one asked me. His first musical venture was in a hip hop musical group called ‘the beast crew. Later, As a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, he opened for an act signed to the record label, Jive Records. This is how he was able to get his foot in the door.
He released his debut album, “Grits Sandwiches for Breakfast,” in 1990. According to Rolling Stone, the album was one of the many terrible debut albums, deeming it dull and lacking any personality.
His luck looked upward with the release of his sophomore and secondary album, “The Polyfuze Method” and “Early Mornin’ Stoned Pimp.” He wasn’t getting much radio play but gained a following for his sometimes hip hop, sometimes southern country rock, and other times heavy metal tunes. He signed to Atlantic Records with his band, Twisted Brown Trucker, and then released “Devil Without a Cause,” his fourth album. It sold over 14 million copies; the biggest single was “Bawitdaba.” He toured Woodstock in 1999 and even was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2000. Seven years later, rock n roll Jesus earned him his first number 1 album on Billboards top 200. It sold over 5 million copies. He continued down this roll of country rock on “Picture,” a crossover song featuring Sheryl Crow.
Kid Rock’s Family
His personal life includes having dated Pamela Anderson, formerly of Baywatch, in 2001. They were engaged in 2002 but ended their relations in 2003. Only to later actually marry in 2006…and then divorce after four months together. He’s garnered a bit of a nasty reputation lately after he lashed out ranting drunkenly about Oprah Winfrey.
In 2014, he became a grandfather. After his son, Robert James Ritchie Jr., a product of him and an ex-girlfriend Kelley South Russell, had a child. Her name is Skye, and she made him a grandfather. In 2017, He proposed to his girlfriend of almost ten years, Audrey Berry. She is a normal person, not a celebrity, so he likes to keep her his little secret, and isn’t posted much on social media online.
After a career spanning multiple decades, Kid Rock’s net worth, from the 1980s to now, the 50-year-old rocker is worth an impressive $80 million, like a proper rock star. He’s still performing and still making money from his albums and touring. His business ventures, ranging from business in the music industry and outside accessories, including his merch t-shirts, which make a lot of money, even donates 30% of the income from these sales. Social media, including his youtube channel, endorsements, royalties, also contribute to his wealth.

The Story of Derrick Henry’s Hair
Tennessee Titans star running back Derrick Henry is solidifying his place among the elite players in the NFL. The former Alabama Crimson Tide Heisman winner has switched into a new gear since the beginning of the 2019 season, using his combination of size and strength to dominate opposing defenses.
It’s impossible not to notice Titans' Derrick Henry on the football field. King Henry stands in at a staggering 6-foot-3 and weighs 238 pounds. Imagine trying to bring him down in the open field.
It’s a task no defensive player desires. Just have a look at ESPN's Sports Science feature on the physics of Henry to get a glimpse of how dangerous he is.
Still, apart from his massive stature and beast-like running style, there is another feature of Henry’s that attracts the eye: his dreadlocks.
Derrick Henry’s hair has been a topic of discussion since his playing days at Alabama, but exploded when he reached the pros.
Back in 2017, Henry rolled up to watch Alabama during the National Championship Game at Raymond James Stadium. After being shown on the telecast, social media had a field day making hilarious comparisons to his hair, with some making wishful comments regarding fellow Alabama RB Bo Scarbrough's hair.
Well, fans shouldn’t expect the star RB’s hair to go away any time soon. One little known factoid about Henry is that the 26-year-old hasn’t cut his hair since elementary school. Yes, you read that correct.
Derrick Henry has been rocking the same bold hair style since he was destroying defenders in Pee Wee football. That's 20 years without Henry cutting his hair, so it's safe to say he values his hair extremely highly.
Henry’s hairstyles have grown so popular that fans in Tennessee have even created a parody Twitter account in its honor.
After shattering Florida records as a running back for Yulee High School, Derrick Henry became a superstar for Nick Saban at Alabama.
As a college football star, Henry broke out during his junior campaign. He rushed for 2,219 yards, scored 28 rushing touchdowns, and averaged 5.6 yards per carry en route to being named the 2015 Heisman Trophy winner, alongside a plethora of other accolades. He proceeded to get drafted by the Tennessee Titans in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft.
After a quiet first two seasons in the NFL, Henry turned this around in his third year. He broke out for 12 touchdowns, recorded 1,059 rushing yards and took over as the lead running back for the football team.
Nashville's newest star was arguably the best running back in football in 2019, picking up the rushing title with 1,540 yards and scoring 16 touchdowns while making the Pro Bowl. He had a dominant playoff run, taking down the Baltimore Ravens and New England Patriots. Henry racked up 446 yards and two scores across three games, but narrowly missed out on a Super Bowl appearance after a loss to Kansas City in the AFC Championship.
In 2020, Henry continued his dominance against the likes of the Houston Texans and Minnesota Vikings.

Why You Should Add Baking Soda to Coffee
Nothing will improve your morning coffee more than a spoonful of baking soda! It's all about the pH.
Let's go back to middle school science class for a second. The pH scale measures how acidic something is, from 0 to 14. The lower the pH, the more acidic it is, and the higher, the more alkaline it is. Substances with a pH of 7 or higher are non-acidic, also called bases. Something very acidic like lemon juice is a 2 on the scale. In contrast, baking soda is a 9, so it qualifies as a base. As a base, baking soda can be added to acidic substances to neutralize their acidity. This is why, when dissolved in water, baking soda is a natural antacid remedy. This alkalinity is what makes baking soda in coffee so good for you.
There are many benefits of adding baking soda to an acidic cup of coffee. Baking soda is the perfect solution to counteract the acid reflux (or GERD), indigestion, and heartburn caused by the acid in coffee, as its alkalinity will offset the coffee's acidity. This is also a useful trick for those with stomach ulcers, since baking soda neutralizes stomach acid as well. Baking soda in coffee is especially helpful if you like black coffee or espresso since these coffee drinks will be more acidic than other options. If you have digestive issues or a sensitive stomach, a small pinch of sodium bicarbonate will help coffee lovers drink quality coffee without stomach issues.
So, the next time you brew your coffee, consider adding a smidge of baking soda. You can either add a half teaspoon to a pot of coffee before brewing or add a pinch to your cup of joe before you drink it. You don't need much baking soda for the desired result, and you also want to ensure that your coffee doesn't lose its flavor. Nothing beats a drink as delicious as it is good for you!
1. Nothing will improve your morning coffee more than a spoonful of baking soda!
2. Scientifically known as a base, sodium bicarbonate counteracts the acid in the coffee beans which usually cause digestive issues.
3. Benefits of adding baking soda to coffee include counteracting acid reflux, indigestion, and heartburn.
4. To add baking soda to coffee, add half a teaspoon to an entire pot of coffee or a pinch into a single mug.
5. Baking soda is also great mixed with water to make a natural antacid remedy.
6. As well as a fridge deodorizer.
7. What do you add to your coffee?

The Beautiful Love Story of How Stephen Colbert Met His Wife Evelyn McGee-Colbert
Stephen Colbert is, above all, a family man. The host of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on CBS is the youngest of 11 children in an Irish Catholic family. Tragically, when Colbert was only ten years old his father, James, and two of his brothers were killed when Eastern Airlines Flight 212 crashed into a North Carolina cornfield in 1974. Since his older siblings mostly lived out of the house, Colbert and his mother, Lorna, became inseparable in the wake of such a horrible catastrophe.
Long before the fame of The Colbert Report, Jon Stewart’s The Daily Show, and so many Emmy Awards, the future late-night host had a girlfriend named Ann. Ann gave Stephen Colbert an ultimatum: get married or break up. Unsure of what to do, Colbert said he knew he had to return to his hometown of Charleston, South Carolina to seek advice from the woman who knew him best: mom. Stephen Colbert recounted the story, in detail, during one of The Late Show’s Q&As in 2019. His first day back in Charleston, Colbert’s mother asked him if he wanted to marry his Ann; he said “I don’t know.” And Lorna said, “‘I don’t know isn’t good enough.'” As Colbert joked when telling the story to. live audience, “Suddenly I had a week to kill!”
Watch Stephen Colbert Tell His Love Story So Beautifully
It was during that week that Colbert met Evelyn McGee, at a Spoleto Festival event for Philip Glass and Allen Ginsburg’s The Hydrogen Jukebox. When Colbert saw Evelyn in the lobby for the first time, “a beautiful woman in a black linen dress,” he knew instantly. When she cut in line to stand near him, the pair realized they were childhood acquaintances; Evelyn also grew up in Charleston. When the two began discussing Philip Glass and poetry, Colbert mentioned that his favorite North Carolina poet, Chuck Sullivan, was out of print. That’s when another man turned around in line and chimed in, saying, “That’s my father!”
It was kismet. The Late Show host has compared the fateful coincidence of the moment to Homer’s The Odyssey, from the Nausicaa book where Odysseus becomes shipwrecked and relays his heavy story to a new audience of islanders. Unsure of whether to believe his outlandish tales, the islander’s sneezes. In Robert Fagel’s translation, the line is “sneezed a blessing on his story.” In ancient tradition, this meant a fantastic story was really true. Always the classics nerd, Stephen Colbert has said that Chuck Sullivan’s son sneezed a blessing on him and Evelyn McGee while in line that day.
Knowing the interaction was so rare and special, it didn’t take long before Stephen Colbert and Evelyn McGee began to date, and then marry, and then go on to raise three children.
Evelyn McGee-Colbert
Stephen Colbert’s wife, Evelyn “Evie” McGee-Colbert is the daughter of a prominent Charleston lawyer, Joseph McGee. Growing up in Charleston, she attended the all-girls sister school to Stephen Colbert’s Catholic boys high school, and so upon meeting the couple realized they had many mutual friends.
McGee-Colbert acts occasionally and had a role on Colbert’s Comedy Central show and spin-off film, Strangers with Candy. She also had a cameo in The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, alongside her sons John and Peter, and of course, her husband Stephen. Stephen is the ultimate Lord of the Rings fan; the small roles became a family affair.
The celeb couple currently resides outside of New York City, in Montclair, New Jersey. Their three children are now young adults: Madeline Colbert, Peter Colbert, and John Colbert.

10 Celebrities Who Started as Truck Drivers
For some people, truck driving has given them a long and fulfilling career, and for others, it was only just the beginning. Trucking can offer ways to get people back on their feet, or give them the ability to save money like they weren't able to before. That's why today we're going to look at some of the famous celebrities in the world who drove trucks at one point in their lives.
Although the trucking industry and being a trucker is not always the most glamorous life, it does provide opportunity for a lot of people in the world. There are loads of people that enjoy the solidarity and the freedom that the career brings, but when Hollywood comes calling, it's hard to pass up that kind of opportunity. Check out the list below to see some of the most famous truckers that went on to become celebrities.
Liam Neeson
Liam Neeson is known for his character of an over-protective father in the variety of films he's been in. This Irishman started his career as a fork-lift driver and a lorry driver for Guinness. Eventually, he decided this career was not for him. He resigned and joined the Lyric Players' Theater before eventually landing his first role in the film industry with Pilgrim's Progress, in 1977.
Elvis Presley
Word on the street is that the king of rock was very talented behind the wheel of a big rig. He started driving fresh out of high school. On one particular occasion, he decided he wanted to audition as a singer. After his audition, he was told "stick to truck driving, you'll never make it as a singer." Safe to say, he proved them wrong as his career progressed.
James Cameron
This amazing director dropped out of college to become a truck driver. While he was driving, he used his spare time to continue to work on scrips and learn about special effects. He was inspired by Star Wars back in 1977, and eventually quit his job and used his savings to buy a camera. He created a successful indie movie and eventually went on to create Terminator, Titanic, and Avatar, and so many others.
Chevy Chase
Turns out there are lots of film stars who started out in the trucking industry. Chevy Chase is among those. He hopped into trucking after finishing med school, before eventually transitioning into the world of film. It was a good start, but the National Lampoon star had bigger goals in mind, and he went on to provide the world with some incredible entertainment.
Sean Connery
The very first James Bond; yeah he was a trucker. Can you imagine having this guy deliver to you? It would probably be the highlight of the year. Connery has had a wide variety of jobs before getting into acting, including serving in the Navy, driving trucks, being a lifegaurd, being an artists model, and so much more. I'm glad he was the one to start off the James Bond series though.
Charles Bronson
This famous Western star tried out multiple different jobs after serving in WWII. He drove a truck for quite some time before transitioning into a theater company. This turned out to be a great move for the star, as he went on to be in films such as The Dirty Dozen, and Once Upon a Time in the West.
Richard Pryor
Before this comedian made his debut, he was involved in some trucking jobs. He hauled truckloads across the US and Europe. He must have had tons of time to himself to come up with all kinds of hilarious jokes. Think about the laughs he was probably creating over the CB radio. He eventually traded the trucking life for a life of stand-up comedy. He was even put into the Rolling Stones list of Top 50 stand up comics.
Rock Hudson
Hudson is arguably one of the most famous truck drivers from the movie industries. He spent a lot of time driving trucks in WWII, before making his move into the movie business. The truck driver ended up being a part in tons of classic romantic comedies throughout the 50's and 60's.
Viggo Mortenson
Not only was Mortenson a truck driver, but he was also a florist. He was a truly underrated star throughout the 90's but you probably know him as Aragorn in the Lord of the Rings. Overall, it was a very good move for him to get more involved with film, because he was later nominated for an academy award in 2016 for his role in Captain Fantastic.
Jason Aldean
I couldn't leave Jason Adlean out of this list. He became one of the biggest country rock stars in the United States, following his trucking career. Even today, he still has a passion for these big machines. He made deliveries for Pepsi back in the day before moving more into music.
Trucking can undeniably give you a little more opportunity if you're struggling to get by in life. But, this list should show you that just about anything is possible if you truly stick to what your passionate about.

'Yellowstone': Cole Hauser Brings Tough-as-Nails Ranch Hand Rip Wheeler to Life
Paramount Network's hit show Yellowstone is full of complicated characters. Kevin Costner's character John Dutton and the rest of the Dutton family definitely have a lot going on. But the family ranch is really held together with the help of longtime friend of the family Rip Wheeler, played by Cole Hauser.
Cole Kenneth Hauser was no stranger to Hollywood growing up in Santa Barbara, California. His mother Cass Warner founded the production company, Warner Sisters, and his father Wings Hauser, was also an actor. Yes, that would be Warner of Warner Bros. His great-grandfather Harry Warner was a founding partner of the massive company. So when Hauser dropped out of high school to pursue an acting career, he probably didn't have anything to worry about.
His film debut was in School Ties alongside future stars Brendan Fraser, Matt Damon, Chris O'Donnell, and Ben Affleck. Soon after he appeared in Richard Linklater's Dazed and Confused and Good Will Hunting with his old friends Matt and Ben. Hauser went on to make his rounds in action films like Pitch Black, the Bruce Willis war film Hart's War, and 2 Fast 2 Furious, A Good Day to Die Hard, Olympus Has Fallen, and Acts of Violence.
Before Yellowstone, Hauser also made his rounds on TV. In the 90s, he was a lead on the Steven Speilberg ABC TV series, High Incident, and later appeared on Rogue and the Lifetime limited series, The Lizzie Borden Chronicles.
But fans are currently loving Hauser in the role of Rip Wheeler, foreman of the Dutton Ranch, and John's number two man. His co-stars include the other Dutton men played by Luke Grimes and Wes Bentley, and John's daughter Beth Dutton played by Kelly Reilly. Beth and Rip have an on again off again relationship which is incredibly engrossing to watch.
In an interview with ScreenRant, Hauser explains that at first there is some tension between his character and Kayce when he returns to the family ranch, but in the end, he loves everyone in the family after knowing them for so many years.
"I think what’s interesting about our relationship is it is a big brother-little brother relationship, and there is some obvious residue from him leaving the ranch and kind of not helping his father when I think he should have. But in the end, I think Rip loves each and every one of his sons like he does John, and obviously he has a tremendous amount of love for Beth. So I don’t think he’s the kind of person that goes, “I’m gonna put myself in the middle of this and stand on my own two feet.” It’s been happening for thirty years."
It seems like it's really a dream show with everyone excited to be there. But Houser told CinemaBlend that there are a few difficulties that come with filming a show that is mostly featured outdoors. His least favorite part of filming is definitely the weather.
"Uh, when it gets like early December and it’s freezing, and you’re sitting on a horse, freezing to death with the horse. The horse is shaking, and you’re shaking with it. Waiting for them to say 'action.'"
Yellowstone season 3 is currently underway and there have already been multiple things going on with Beth and Rip's relationship. We're excited to see what's in store for the rest of the season!

Jeff Gordon Visits Dale Earnhardt’s Statue in Touching Tribute
The on-track rivalry and off-track relationship between Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt is one of NASCAR’s greatest stories. It was a story that was explored in the documentary Unrivaled: Earnhardt vs. Gordon, where everyone from Dale Earnhardt Jr. to Rick Hendrick to even Jeff Gordon himself (who executive produced the film) dished on the enduring impact of Earnhardt vs. Gordon on the sport of NASCAR. According to Dale Jr., the movie tells the story “just the way it was.”
For one of the more touching segments in the film, Gordon heads to the Dale Earnhardt Plaza in Kannapolis, North Carolina — Earnhardt’s hometown — to visit the memorial statue of Dale Earnhardt and pay tribute to his good friend and greatest rival. What makes the moment even more somber is that it came just ahead of the 2019 Daytona 500, the event where Dale Sr. tragically lost his life only 18 years prior.
If this doesn’t get you right in the feels, we don’t know what will.
“This is the Dale Earnhardt that a lot of us knew,” says Gordon, looking up at the Dale Earnhardt statue. “Cowboy boots, Wranglers. This is the size he was when he was in the race car.”
During their days going head-to-head, Gordon and Earnhardt couldn’t have been more different. Gordon was “Wonder Boy.” Earnhardt was “The Intimidator.” Gordon looked like a fresh-faced college kid who said “Gosh” a lot. Earnhardt looked like the kind of guy who mowed his lawn while smoking a Marlboro and drinking a Budweiser.
Even still, there was a mutual respect between the two drivers that transcended their differences. At the end of the day, they were both incredible NASCAR drivers. Two of the best to ever do it.
“As much as he messed with me, somehow on the inside I always thought that it was a sign of respect,” Gordon continues. “He would have not said anything at all if he didn’t care. I respected the heck out of this guy. I loved racing with him – Hated it at times, but overall my experience with Dale was incredible.”
When remembering Dale Earnhardt the driver, Jeff has never been one to sugarcoat things. In Unrivaled, he recalls Dale as being “a pain in the ass” to race against. Even still, the warmth was still there.
“He just was a tough, tough competitor,” Gordon said. “He just had this magical way of shoving you out of the way, knocking you sideways or maybe even wrecking you, and the next day or the next week, put his arm around you and say, ‘Hey kid.'”
When it was all said and done, Dale Earnhardt would win seven Winston Cup Series championships and 76 Cup Series races. Gordon himself would rack up four championships and 93 wins.
While Dale is sadly no longer with us, his legacy will live on. Through his family, his statue, and his countless contributions to the sport of NASCAR, and his rivalry with Jeff Gordon.

Bohemian Rhapsody: What Do the Lyrics of This Iconic Song Actually Mean?
Without a doubt, rock band Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” is one of music’s most iconic rock songs and greatest hits of all time. There aren’t many people who haven’t caught themselves yelling the lyrics at the top of their lungs at a bar with drinks in the air. But as you slur over the words in the many different pitches and voices the song is composed of, have you ever wondered what the meaning of the song is? Surely, it’s not just a bunch random concepts put into a catchy tune just to be the groundbreaking song that it is.
Well, according to its songwriter, Freddie Mercury himself, the song is actually up to your own interpretation. He once declared, “It’s one of those songs which has such a fantasy feel about it. I think people should just listen to it, think about it, and then make up their own minds as to what it says to them…’Bohemian Rhapsody’ didn’t just come out of thin air. I did a bit of research although it was tongue-in-cheek and mock opera. Why not?”
Freddie began writing the song in 1968, waking up in the middle of the night to jump on the piano. Finishing it in 1975, he recorded the song using the same piano that was used in “Hey Jude.” But if you’re a true Queen fan, then you understand very well that the band has strong acknowledged that the lyrics of “Bohemian Rhapsody” are very personal to Freddie.
‘Freddie was a very complex person: flippant and funny on the surface, but he concealed insecurities and problems in squaring up his life with his childhood,” Queen guitarist Brian May said, “He never explained the lyrics, but I think he put a lot of himself into that song.”
The song was officially released on Queen’s 1975 studio album A Night at the Opera, and it was when Freddie was in a relationship with Mary Austin. Because it’s well-known that he had cheated on her with someone who worked in a record company, some think that his affair was the inspiration of this song. Others think that it was Freddie’s way of coming out to the world. But Brian May actually denied these suspicions in November 2015.
Biographer Lesley Ann-Jones suggested, however, that this specific line, “Mama, just killed a man/ put a gun against his head, pulled my trigger, now he’s dead” was actually a metaphor for the death of Freddie’s heterosexuality. But along with Queen drummer Roger Taylor, Brian May also suggest that no one knows and will ever know what the song is actually about. He told BBC, “What’s it about? None of us know. Freddie never talked about it to my knowledge and didn’t want to and that’s the way it should be.”
Brian also explained that it’s basically pointless for people to try and understand and decipher the lyrics. So what do we do know about the song’s meaning? Well, scaramouche in the part of the song that goes “Scaramouche, scaramouche will you do the fandango” is a “character in a 17th century comedy show called Commedia dell’arte… a buffoon who always managed to work his way out of any tricky situation at the expense of someone else.”
A Persian leaflet was included when the rock band released a Greatest Hits cassette in Iran. It included a translation and explanation to which the band explained that the song is about how a young man kill someone, and in referencing Faust, sold his soul to the devil. Right before he’s executed to which he exclaims “Bismillah.” Bismillah from the line “Bismillah! No we will not let you go-let him go” is actually a Muslim term that means in “in the name of Allah,” just as Christians would say “Grace.”
Others have also believed that it references The Stranger by Albert Camus, where a young man confesses to a murder and has some sort of epiphany before he’s executed. But Kenny Everett, who popularized the song on Capital Radio, thinks that the lyrics are simply “random rhyming nonsense.”
And although there are clear rock parts, the operatic sections of the song could never be performed live, seeing that they took about three weeks to just record. But the song’s music video paved the way for using music videos to promote songs in the music industry for the first time, featuring them on BBC’s Top of the Pops.
We may never truly know what Freddie was trying to say in this song, but I think that’s fair since it seems the inspiration came from his own life. As an artist, music can absolutely be an expression of your personal life. And it’s pretty awesome that fellow band members Brian May and Roger Taylor protected its songwriting. It’s true classic hard rock that I’m sure even John Deacon would do the same thing.
But regardless, “nothing really matters” anyways, if it’s such a great song. You could think of it as a monstrosity for its craziness, or just understand that rock music has no limits.

4 Most Effective Ways to Get Rid of the Gamey Taste in Wild Meat
4 Most Effective Ways to Get Rid of the Gamey Taste in Wild Meat
If you're struggling with the gamey taste in wild meat, start here.
You spend a lot of time, effort and money in going about chasing down wild game for the freezer. The last thing you want in wild meat is a gamey taste when it comes time to cook it. All is not lost if the first time you tried to eat your hard-earned meal, the gamey flavor was just too overpowering to enjoy anything. Thankfully, we've found a few kitchen hacks when it comes to cooking venison, elk or other game animals that takes those stronger flavors right out.
A lot of people love to tell you how much they hate eating wild game meat because of the overpowering flavor. When it comes down to the facts, though, they probably never actually ate a properly field-dressed animal.
On top of that, the wild game meat might not have been prepared according to traditional wild game recipes. Game meats aren't the same as beef. Unfortunately, many try to cook it the same way.
The following suggestions are true results from nothing but trial and error. My wife hates the gamey taste of venison. However, we've found a few ways around this that I'm sure will work for you, too. If you think something tastes gamey, here's where you start to turn that around.
1. Field dressing basics
One of the biggest reasons your venison or other wild game might have a strong gamey taste starts in the field. The key to getting great-tasting game meats is to get the animal gutted and cooled as quickly as possible. The longer the animal stays in the field, overnight for example due to a bad shot, the worse it's going to taste.
Enzymes start breaking down inside the animal fairly rapidly. The warmer it is outside, the quicker this process happens. For most hunters, this is the biggest reason your meat tastes terrible.
A lot of hunters also tend to believe it's necessary to hang and bleed an animal after it's been gutted. However, a shot through the vitals that bleeds quite a bit is usually enough. It's this blood that remains in the muscles that create that overpowering, gamey taste.
If you want that gamey taste out, put more emphasis on proper cleaning and getting your deer to a professional processor or your home processing station rather than hanging it.
2. Soaking it
Here's where you'll probably get the most advice as it pertains to wild game meat. A lot of suggestions like to recommend soaking your game meat in vinegar. Seeing as vinegar is very acidic, this technique can often dry out the meat making it very tough. Instead, soaking the meat in milk gets much better results.
For a lot of old school cooks, this is must-do step before putting any wild game meat in a slow cooker or Dutch oven. A saltwater brine is also a very popular choice. The salt helps suck a lot of the bad flavors right out. Make sure you give the meat a good clean water bath before cooking, though. Otherwise, the salt can really overpower.
Marinades are also a great way to reduce the gamey taste in wild meat. There are a variety available on the market, but something as simple as soaking it in Italian dressing can be enough. Ultimately, this helps remove more of the blood from the meat, leaving only the tissue behind. As mentioned already, that blood when it cooks is a big contributor to a strong game flavor.
3. Silver skin
Taking the time to remove the silver skin and other connective tissues before cooking will pay off dividends when it comes time to sit down and eat your meal.
If you have a strong gamey taste in wild meat at your house, this very well may be the culprit, regardless of whether any of the previous strategies worked. These tissues are very strong and full of unwanted flavors. Taking the time using a small knife, or even a fork in some cases, can improve the entire cooking experience.
Removing the fat altogether is a must if people in your family have a sensitive stomach regarding wild game. In range-fed beef, the fat is a great flavor addition. In wild game, the fat doesn't do a whole lot but make your house smell and ruin your meat.
4. Don't overcook!
Overcooking wild game meat is a cardinal sin. The game taste in wild meat is actually amplified the more you cook it. Low and slow is the name of this game.
Any pan seared venison needs only a little bit of time on both sides, but medium rare should be about all the meat is cooked at the most. Seeing as there is not a whole lot of fat, game meats cook surprisingly quick. If you're doing all of the above and still getting a strong, gamey taste, this just might be why.
Again, trial and error is a great teacher. If the gamey taste in wild meat turned you off to it years ago, perhaps it's time to try it again. Only this time, hopefully you can keep a few of these tricks up your sleeve.

Dolly Parton's Siblings: Then and Now
Dolly Rebecca Parton has been open about her tough upbringing. She even made film, Dolly Parton's Coat of Many Colors, inspired by her experiences. Growing up in a house of 12 children in a one-room cabin in the foothills of the Appalachian mountains is no picnic. Despite having close to nothing, the country star was raised learning to sing in the church and followed her dreams by hitting the Nashville music scene at the age of 13 with her first performance at the Grand Ole Opry. Inspiring millions with her rags to riches journey, Dolly Parton has become a rhinestone clad national treasure.
But Dolly is not the only successful Parton child. Music was part of the entire Parton family upbringing in their Tennessee home. Where did Dolly Parton's siblings end up after she made it big in Nashville and Hollywood?
ADVERTISING
Larry Parton
Unfortunately for parents Avie Lee and Robert Lee Parton, Larry died as an infant at only 4 days old when Dolly was only 9 years old.
Stella Parton
Stella Parton is no stranger to the country music scene. With her own 40 years of experience, she has created her own path as a country singer and even had some successful songs in the 1970s.
Randy Parton
Randy is a singer and performer, but his big claim to fame is his big mishap with the Roanoke Rapids Theatre in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina (which used to be the Randy Parton Theatre). Parton signed a million-dollar deal to manage and perform in the theatre and it didn't quite work out for him.
Rachel Dennison
The youngest of the Parton siblings, Dennison is a retired actress-singer, best known for her starring role in the 1980s sitcom "Nine to Five." She also performs with her siblings from time to time.
Willadeene Parton
Willadeene became an author, publishing Smoky Mountain Memories: Stories from the Hearts of the Parton Family, which tells stories of the Parton family upbringing. She also wrote a cookbook, All-Day Singing & Dinner on the Ground
Freida Estelle
Younger sister Freida starting out singing back up for Dolly and tried making it as a punk rock singer in the 1980s. She opened a wedding chapel and is an ordained minister, so if you've ever dreamed of having Dolly Parton officiate your wedding, it sounds like this is the next best thing.
Robert Lee, David, and Coy Parton
These three stayed pretty private and out of show business, so not much is known about them. They can occasionally be seen accompanying Dolly to events.
Floyd Parton
Floyd also pursued music and turned out to be a talented songwriter. He penned multiple songs for Dolly including, "Rockin' Years," "Nickles and Dimes," and "Waltz Me to Heaven."

This Dragster-Themed Coaster Goes Is One Wild Ride
If you're a fan of roller coasters and adrenaline rushes, then you've got to check out this POV on ride video on the Top Thrill Dragster in Sandusky, Ohio, at the Cedar Point amusement park. Thanks to its hydraulic launch system, you can see first hand just how quickly this ride gets up to speed.
At the beginning of the video, you'll notice the similarities to drag racing, as it features the same starting light Christmas tree. Once the light turns green, this cart takes off down the track in the same fashion as if it were headed down a drag strip. It reaches some insane speeds as well, but it doesn't hit the brakes at the end. Instead, the track continues straight into the air through inversions before making its way back down to the other side.
Good thing they have a lap bar on this ride, because you'll need one. It may be a short ride, but it's certainly action packed and the drop at the end is enough to get the blood pumping. Let's check out some information about the crazy ride.
Cedar Point's Top Thrill Dragster
The strata coaster was manufactured by Intamin, and it was the sixteenth built inside the park. The tagline for the Top Thrill Dragster is "Race For The Sky" and it's not hard to see why. The hydraulic system that launches the trains down the track is definitely its most notable unique feature.
When this new roller coaster first debuted at the theme park in 2003, it broke world records for the tallest complete circuit roller coaster, tallest roller coaster, tallest roller coaster drop, and fastest roller coaster. Amazingly, you will hit a top speed of 120 mph on the stretch of launch track in under 4 seconds. The previous records were held by rides like Tower of Terror II, Dodonpa, and Superman: Escape from Krypton at Six Flags Magic Mountain. Two years later, Kingda Ka opened at Six Flags Great Adventure and took two of the records away from Top Thrill Dragster.
As if the ride wasn't scary enough, there's also occurrences known as "rollbacks" that happen from time to time. This happens when the train does not have enough speed to make it all the way up and over the hill, causing it to roll back down the way it came. Luckily, the ride is equipped with magnetic braking fins so it can be slowed down if this happens. On rare occasions, it can even get stuck at the very top due to not having enough speed. In this scenario, a mechanic takes the elevator up and pushes the train forward so that it can roll down the other side.
The Top Thrill Dragster and the Millennium Force rides are reported as the top two largest investments in Cedar Point history. If you're ever in Ohio, this should definitely be one of the places that you stop at. Keep in mind, this is only just one of the rides at the theme park.

Jalen Rose Found His Soulmate With ESPN’s ‘First Take’ Host
Jalen Rose and Molly Qerim have a great thing going. Individually, they are both stars. Together, they are an ESPN power couple. Sports brought them together, and it doesn’t look like anything can break them apart.
Rose is a former NBA star turned ESPN analyst who is featured on several programs, including NBA Countdown, and podcasts, while Qerim is the famous host of First Take alongside Stephen A. Smith and Max Kellerman.
Whether it’s on air, Instagram Live, or at sporting events, the happy couple can be seen together when their busy schedules allow it.
Jalen Rose’s Wife: Molly Qerim
ESPN analyst Jalen Rose and Molly Qerim have been dating since 2016, which was first confirmed in a tweet. They were married in the New York City area back in 2018 and took a honeymoon to Turks and Caicos shortly thereafter, according to Page Six.
While their relationship is more than public, especially on social media, details of their personal lives aren’t always shared.
Qerim, who was born in New Haven, Connecticut, is 11 years younger than Rose, who hails from Detroit, Michigan and was a first round pick in the 1994 NBA Draft. No matter where life takes them, they are madly in love.
After an All-American career at Michigan, Rose played for the Denver Nuggets, Indiana Pacers, Chicago Bulls, Toronto Raptors, New York Knicks, and Phoenix Suns.
Meanwhile, Qerim earned her bachelor’s degree from UConn and her master’s from Quinnipiac University before becoming a famous sports anchor. She started her career with the CBS Sports Network.
They are currently both employed by ESPN.
The LaVar Ball Incident
Molly Qerim’s career and rise to fame has been impressive, but it hasn’t come without controversy. Her biggest breakthrough came with ESPN’s First Take, but nothing was more polarizing than an incident involving LaVar Ball on the program in 2019.
Ball, the father of former Los Angeles Lakers and current New Orleans Pelicans point guard Lonzo Ball, was on the show talking about his son. He then made an inappropriate comment to Qerim.
“You can switch gears with me anytime,” Ball told Qerim on First Take.
The entire situation, especially Ball’s comments, stirred up plenty of controversy. ESPN even went as far as saying the network doesn’t plan on inviting Ball on air in the future. Qerim’s husband, Jalen Rose, defended his wife on Instagram Live, via Yahoo! Sports.
“Molly talks to TMZ, and they ask her a question about, ‘How do you feel about LaVar being banned?’ She clearly said, ‘That’s above my pay grade, I don’t know anything about that.’
“Then it graduated to somebody saying that he got banned from ESPN. She and I didn’t send no texts, no emails, no overtures to get anybody banned from ESPN – the company that we work for and don’t own, fools.”
Rose wasn’t done, either.
“Then it went to, ‘Oh Molly, you got a black man banned from ESPN.’ Y’all know she’s married to a black husband, right? She’s covered the NFL, the NBA, college basketball, MMA… she’s been doing this for 15 years. She knows how to navigate. She knows how to take care of herself.
“Somebody pays her to talk about sports. She’s a vet. So this idea that she woke up that morning and like, ‘Oh, I’m going to see what I can do to try to trap LaVar.’ It didn’t have nothing to do with his race, fools… If she felt some type of way about what he said, then she felt some type of way about what he said. And you know what? I’m riding with her.”
Through it all, the two have each other’s backs.
Jalen Rose’s Kids
Jalen Rose and wife Molly Qerim-Rose do not have any children together. However, the former star basketball player has three kids of his own from previous relationships.
Rose has two daughters — Mariah Christian Rose and Gracie Rose — and a son, LaDarius Rose.
Mariah was born to Rose and his ex-partner Mauri Goens. The mother(s) of Gracie and LaDarius are unknown.
Before Rose and Qerim tied the knot, she told ABC’s Good Morning America that she was diagnosed with endometriosis several years ago, which could lead to infertility.
Their relationship is as strong as ever. And as breaking news and more stories unfold, especially during the playoffs and COVID-19 outbreak, both will be right there to talk about it on air, then share it again when they’re together at home.

Eddie Van Halen’s Iconic Lamborghini Miura Was Featured in “Panama”
By now, everyone has heard about the tragic death of legendary guitarist and musician Eddie Van Halen. He was a massive influence in the world of music, and he will be missed greatly around the world. In memory of this icon, it seemed appropriate to look back at one of the coolest supercars that he owned: a 1972 Lamborghini Miura.
Now, Eddie Van Halen was a massive car guy who loved motorsports, owning tons of different high-end sports cars, such as a Porsche 911 GT3 RS, Ferraris, Mercedes-Benz AMGs, and two supercharged Audi R8s, one of which has the V8 engine and the other fitted with the V10. While all of his cars are pretty badass, the Lamborghini just matched the persona of this guitarist so perfectly.
Back in 1984, the rock star released the song Panama, and it left many Van Halen fans confused as to what sound was played following his mind-blowing guitar solo. The sound was later revealed to be revving from the V12 inside the Lamborghini. This unique exhaust noise was incredibly different from other race cars, and it was a great touch to an already fantastic song.

Eddie originally received the car as a wedding gift from his former wife Valerie Bertinelli. John Temerian is an entrepreneur and supercar enthusiast, and he is the one that currently owns the vehicle. He jumped into details on the widebody Lambo in a video he made on his YouTube channel Curated TV.
The car even still had the wedding date on the license plate. On a daily basis, Eddie would drive this car in the streets of Los Angeles and Beverly Hills, normally listening to tapes of his latest music or other content to inspire him.
The Eddie Van Halen Lamborghini Miura is certainly an amazing piece of history, and it’s great to know that it’s in good hands right now. Many people made hot rods out of these cars, but Eddie kept things original for the most part. It was discovered that the car was a factory widebody car that also came with bigger wheels.
Even today, this supercar is absolutely stunning, and it is now serving as a magnificent tribute to the late, great Eddie Van Halen.
