Krysten Anderson: The Monster Truck Driver Follows in Her Dad’s Footsteps
Dennis Anderson, the original founder of the Grave Digger truck, built quite the following for the black and green monster truck throughout his career. The Monster Jam truck is considered one of the most iconic and recognizable monster trucks in the world. Back in 2017, Dennis was injured while attempting to backflip the truck at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. This ended up pushing him into retirement earlier than expected. But even though Dennis Anderson has ended his driving career, he still has children who followed in the same footsteps who can carry on the family legacy; Adam Anderson, Ryan Anderson, and the newest driver of the three, Krysten Anderson.
Krysten Anderson is the daughter of Dennis Anderson and is also first female driver of Grave Digger. Originally from Currituck, North Carolina, Krysten became an official driver back in 2017 - around the same time as Dennis's accident. She's obviously been surrounded by the Grave Digger brand since she was a child, but now aims at defining her own name. The monster truck driver has competed in the last 3 feld entertainment Monster Jam world finals and the all-star challenge in 2019. With Dennis's legendary career, and Adam Anderson being a 5 times world finals champion, the female Grave Digger driver surely has a high bar set for her. With the last name Anderson, people naturally expect the "all or nothing" performances that they normally see from the truck.
Now, even though she's got big shoes to fill, make no mistake, Krysten is already a very talented driver. She didn't get put into that truck for nothing. But she has potential to be great. Dennis stated that the first time he saw Krysten in a mud truck, he knew she had what it took. This driver has no fear sending that 12,000 pound truck off some jumps to get some serious air time. Take a look at this video from her freestyle run at a Monster Jam event in Fargo, North Dakota back in 2018.
Krysten proves to be a very postive role model for women out there, especially the little girls. They see this Monster Jam driver giving her all in that arena, and witness the extraordinary things women are capable of, first hand. I think with a little time, Krysten is going to prove to the world exactly what she has the ability to do. I wouldn't be surprised to see her become a world finals champion down the line.

Meryl Streep’s Net Worth Lives Up to Her Hollywood Legend
Meryl Streep is a multi-Oscar award-winning actress revered for Mamma Mia!, The Devil Wears Prada, and Sophie’s Choice. Before her career yielded her accolades of today, she was a stage actress in New York in the sixties. She was born in Summit, New Jersey in June 1949, her birth name was Mary Louise “Meryl” Streep. Her parents were a commercial artist, Mary Wilkinson Streep, and her father, Harry William Street Jr, a pharmaceutical executive. As a youth, she took opera lessons from Estelle Liebling and participated in cheerleading.
After graduating from Vassar College in 1971, the now Golden Globe winner attended Yale Drama School for an MFA, which she earned in 1975. Her first professional working gig was working at the National Playwrights Conference at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center. That year she moved to New York City to work on Broadway, averaging an appearance in over a dozen productions a year, including in The Cherry Orchard. She quickly made her move to the big screen.
In 1977 Meryl Streep received her first feature role in Julia. The film starred Jane Fonda, however, most of her scenes ended up being cut. Her role in “The Cherry Orchard,” however, was seen by Robert De Niro and that landed her an audition for The Deer Hunter the following year. The same film became Streep’s first Academy Award nomination: Best Supporting Actress.
In the time from the seventies to the late 20s, Meryl Streep has become one of the most appraised, most recognized, and highest-paid actresses. The year after her first nomination, Streep was awarded the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for Kramer Vs Kramer (1979). She has appeared in A Cry in the Dark, The Post, Julie & Julia, Sophie’s Choice, Death Becomes Her, The Iron Lady, The Bridges of Madison County, and Manhattan. The 2008 musical release Mamma Mia! is, of course, one of her most successful films.
The American Actress has also acted on television in series such as Big Little Lies and Angels in America and has voiced several documentaries. She holds the 2004 AFI Life Achievement Award, the Presidential Medal of Freedom from President Barack Obama in November 2014, and over 150 awards from various organizations.
Meryl Streep’s career spans from her Hollywood and television acting work, investing in real estate, and celebrity endorsements. This puts her net worth at an estimated total of $150 million. Adored by millions as one of the greatest actresses, it is no surprise that the films she stars in earn the most and are made with very generous budgets.

College GameDay’s Virtual Fans Have Arrived. Here’s How to Become One
ESPN's College GameDay is a tradition like no other. Waking up to the voices of Kirk Herbstreit, Rece Davis, Desmond Howard and Lee Corso putting some silly mascot head over his is music to every college football fan's ears.
The Saturday morning three-hour show travels to college campuses for the biggest NCAA football games that week is back in action for the 2020 season.
College GameDay opened up in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, to showcase a season opener between the All-American Trevor Lawrence's Clemson Tigers and the Wake Forest Demon Deacons on Saturday, Sept. 12.
Not only did that mean college football will have a sense of normalcy amid the coronavirus pandemic, it also meant our beloved and hilarious GameDay signs are also back.
However, because of COVID-19 fans can't attend the pregame show. That doesn't mean Clemson and Florida State fans in the ACC to Alabama and LSU fans in the SEC can't still get the GameDay experience.
College GameDay is going virtual much like the NBA Playoffs and the NFL Draft have done while MLB opted for cardboard cutout fans. Here's how to nab one of these coveted spots for the college football season.
College GameDay is featuring a "virtual fan wall" for the first time that will show off 40 lucky fans at any one time in a rotation format before their team's matchup.
There are a ton of rules for those lucky fans that make it on TV, which may make it difficult for anyone to flash a sign like fans in the past have done. However, it seems like a pretty process to sign up for.
"We’re really doing everything we can, or at least our bosses are, to try to give the fans the closest thing that we can get them to what you’d expect from GameDay — which means trying to put it on the road,” analyst Kirk Herbstreit said in an interview with Nashville's 104.5 The Zone.
College GameDay has made it simple for fans. Basically, you just have to follow three simple steps to get your face behind the ESPN gang and on TV in front of millions of people.
Step 1: Go to CollegeGameDay.com.
Step 2: Fill out the questionnaire, including your favorite teams, and wait for a response email.
Step 3: Hang out with GameDay on ESPN!
There are a few caveats to note, via ESPN's rules of entry.
For starters, only 50 fans of each "marquee team" being highlighted will be selected each week. The show will showcase four marquee teams each week, meaning up to 200 diehard team fans from the Big Ten, SEC, ACC or any other conference will be chosen. Another 300 fans of teams not one of the marquee teams will also be chosen. That makes 500 total, but the show states that it may choose less than that number each week.
Hopeful virtual fans that enter their info will hear back from ESPN "on or by each Tuesday" at about 8 p.m. ET.
The rules also state virtual fans may not disparage ESPN, the NCAA or its member conferences. Behavior that is inappropriate, profane, hateful, slanderous or indecent is all prohibited, as is any material referencing alcohol, drugs and smoking of any kind. No mentions of personal Venmo accounts can be made either, which means this kid who solicited money to buy beer is out of luck this year.
The GameDay signs are a huge part of the show's experience, and it sounds like ESPN is all but disallowing that part to take place.
Still, this season of ESPN's College GameDay is sure to be a blast every Saturday morning. There will undoubtedly be moments that will be trending on social media. Let's just be glad the offseason is over and we can watch Lee Corso make a fool of himself and drop F-bombs.

Bring These Tequila-Soaked Watermelon Wedges to Every Party
Thirst-quenching and oh so delicious, snacking on watermelon chunks is one of the highlights of the summer season. While you can enjoy it a number of ways (cut up in a salad with feta and cucumbers, lightly salted with sea salt) the one technique you have to try is soaking it with tequila. The taste of watermelon margaritas has never been better.
How To Make Tequila Soaked Watermelon
To start, grab everything you need. This includes a small seedless watermelon, triple sec, sugar, tequila (readers suggest blanco tequila or silver tequila), fresh lime juice, and coarse sea salt. You'll also need a small saucepan and a baking sheet large enough to arrange the wedges in a single layer.
Once you have cut the watermelon into 1-inch thick wedges, move over to the simple syrup. In the original recipe, Martha suggests boiling all of the ingredients together, however, to minimize the alcohol evaporation we suggest adding the sugar and water to the saucepan and bringing it to a boil. Once the sugar seems to have dissolved, add in the triple sec and tequila.
Let the syrup cool slightly and pour syrup over the watermelon wedges and refrigerate for 45 minutes. Some readers suggest placing the watermelon on a popsicle stick and placing it in the freezer until frozen if you are feeling like something cooler.
Once the watermelon has infused, place it on a serving platter and squeeze limes on the wedges and sprinkle with salt as a garnish. Add some mint leaves or a jalapeno slice if you are feeling frisky! It's an appetizer that your friends will be begging you to make every day, I guarantee it.

Meet Us Out Here with Ombraz Sunglasses | Wide Open Spaces
If you've never heard of Ombraz, the armless sunglasses, you're going to want to watch this interview.
Ombraz Sunglasses is setting a precedent. They're not only creating the coolest, most unique pair of sunglasses you can get your hands on, but they're doing so in a responsible way that should frankly be the envy of any outdoor business.
Our editor Eric Pickhartz put on his first pair of Ombraz armless shades during a fishing trip in Florida, an right away he knew they were on to something.
When the two Ombraz co-founders, Jensen Brehm and Nikolai Paloni, jumped on a video chat to answer some questions, Eric and sunglass wearers everywhere learned a lot about what they brand is doing to offset their environmental impact.
For each pair sold, 20 trees are planted through a connection with Eden Reforestation Projects.
Ombraz glasses don't use traditional sidearms, insted opting for an adjustable cord. The result is a world-class fit, unlike any sunglasses you've ever worn, and the same polarized technology you expect for eyewear you can wear as easily in the backcountry as you can next to the pool.
Jensen and Nikolai talked to Eric about the scratch-resistant Zeiss optics used in the shades, achieving a carbon negative status as a company, plus some of the new styles Ombraz is just now releasing.
All the Ombraz models have a design that embodies the classic aviator style, but applies modern, sustainable materials like acetate and recycled nylon while eliminating any hinges or screws.

If you're hard-pressed, who would you say is the most well-known hunter in today's landscape?
There are a few legit possibilities, but for a lot of folks, Randy Newberg ranks pretty high.
Referred to by many as "the voice of the public land hunter," Newberg hosts the "Leupold's Fresh Tracks" and "On Your Own Adventures" hunting TV shows, as well as the Hunt Talk Podcast. Plus, he is the brains behind the Hunt Talk web forum.
When he agreed to speak with our editor Eric Pickhartz for a question and answer segment, we knew we should consider ourselves lucky to have access to such an experienced hunting mind.
From his headquarters in Bozeman, Montana, Newberg had a lot to say about a lot of topics. He also serves as a volunteer and board member for many hunting and conservation groups, something more sportsmen and women should consider if they want to make a difference.
Whether you're talking backcountry mule deer, elk hunting or quail hunting, public land hunting access or strategies, or even hunting gear recommendations, you're going to get an ear full from Newberg.
We touched on all sorts of subjects, like the new Gerber Knives line Randy collaborated on, his affinity for pronghorn antelope hunting, and his role as a leading advocate for our hunting heritage.

'Gunsmoke' Co-Star Ken Curtis Was Also a Country Music Singer
Ken Curtis, the actor behind beloved Gunsmoke character Festus Haggen and the son-in-law of Western film director John Ford, had quite the career as a singer, as well, with his musical past creating minimal degrees of separation from Frank Sinatra and Roy Rogers.
Curtis, born Curtis Wain Gates on July 2, 1916, grew up in Las Animas, Colorado, where his father was the sheriff. By 1940, he lived in New York and worked as a singer for the NBC radio network.
In 1942, Curtis' first brush with fame came when he cut a few songs for Tommy Dorsey's orchestra. At the time, Dorsey's go-to vocalist was another future pop culture icon, Frank Sinatra. The common narrative that Curtis replaced Sinatra seems overblown, but that doesn't diminish that the future Festus collaborated with a fancy orchestra while living in New York City.
After serving in the Army infantry during World War II from 1942 to 1945, Curtis signed with Columbia Pictures and began his film career. Early Western roles paired Curtis with other singing talents, from singing cowgirl Carolina Cotton to big screen regulars the Hoosier Hotshots. Curtis' first film as a leading man, 1945's Rhythm Round-Up, even featured Western swing pioneers Bob Wills and His Texas Playboys.
From 1949 to 1953, Curtis served as lead singer of the Country Music Hall of Fame singing group The Sons of the Pioneers. Prior to Curtis joining, the group featured Roy Rogers, Bob Nolan and other singing cowboy icons and popularized the song "Tumbling Tumbleweeds." With Curtis at the helm, The Sons of the Pioneers scored hits with "Room Full of Roses" and "Ghost Riders in the Sky."
In 1950's Hollywood, Curtis became a regular in Ford's films, including the classic John Wayne films Rio Grande (1950), The Quiet Man (1952), Mister Roberts (1955), The Searchers (1956), The Wings of Eagles (1957), The Last Hurrah (1958), The Horse Soldiers (1959), Two Rode Together (1961), How the West Was Won (1962) and Cheyenne Autumn (1964). Curtis also appeared with Wayne in The Alamo (1960).
As alluded to before, Curtis was married to Ford's daughter, the former Barbara Ford, from 1952 to 1964.
Curtis also owned his own production company during a golden era for sci-fi b-movies which brought us schlocky favorites The Killer Shrews and The Giant Gila Monster (both from 1959).
Curtis first transitioned to the small screen in a 1961-'63 television series about parachuting, Ripcord. In '64, Curtis' Festus Haggen character debuted during the eighth season of Gunsmoke. The lovable, disheveled deputy remained in the world of Marshall Matt Dillon (James Arness) and Miss Kitty (Amanda Blake) until the series ended in 1975. Curtis had appeared in Gunsmoke before, as a one-off character in the 1959 episode "Jayhawkers."
Before sealing his television legacy as Festus, Curtis appeared in the series Have Gun, Will Travel, Perry Mason and Death Valley Days.
Curtis' final film, Sam Elliott's Conagher, aired in 1991, the same year as the singer and actor's death.
After decades of Gunsmoke reruns, it's hard to separate Curtis from the beloved Festus. Yet there's clearly more to his legacy, from a series of musical Westerns that blurred the line between motion pictures and early country radio to impressive runs alongside the Sons of the Pioneers and The Duke.

What Is Alex Rodriguez's Net Worth?
Alex Rodriguez is one of the most polarizing baseball players of all time. He is no stranger to controversy. Despite the negative attention and the media’s fixation with A-Rod throughout and after his Major League Baseball career, no one can deny he got absolutely paid over his 22-year career.
Let’s break down how exactly a teenage shortstop from Miami turned his once-in-a-generation talent on the diamond into a fortune worth hundreds of millions of dollars.
Alexander Emmanuel Rodriguez was actually born in Manhattan, New York City to two Dominican immigrants, Victor and Lourdes Rodriguez. The family moved to the Dominican Republic when he was 4 and then afterward to Miami, where he grew up.
It’s hard to overstate how much of a prized baseball prospect he was at South Florida’s Christopher Columbus High School and Westminster Christian School. USA Baseball named him its junior player of the year and Gatorade its national baseball student-athlete of the year.
One scout called him the “bigger and better” version of Derek Jeter. In 1993, he tried out for the United State national baseball team. No other high schooler had ever done that in baseball history.
The University of Miami recruited Rodríguez heavily and even offered him a chance to play quarterback for the football team. Ultimately, he turned it down and headed for the MLB.
The Seattle Mariners took A-Rod first overall in the 1993 MLB Draft, and he signed for a $1.3 million signing bonus, the first of many millions he’d make playing baseball. By 1994, the 18-year-old received the call to the bigs.
Two years later as a 20-year-old, A-Rod was an All-Star and finished second in American League MVP voting after hitting a league-best .358, 36 home runs, 123 RBIs, 141 runs and 15 stolen bases.
He was a full-fledged superstar. He also couldn’t legally drink.
The Mariners gave him a four-year, $10.6 million extension in 1996 but couldn’t capture a World Series title with him.
Following the 2000 season, Rodriguez became a free agent. Suitors lined up in bunches to woo the megastar. A-Rod signed the largest deal in American sports at the time, a 10-year, $252 million deal. All of it guaranteed.
In the prime of his career, Rodriguez hit an astounding 156 homers over his three years with Texas. He also took home the first of three MVP awards in 2003.
After 2003, the Rangers looked to get rid of the rest of Rodriguez’s lucrative contract. They initially agreed to send him to the Boston Red Sox (of all teams) for Manny Ramirez, Jon Lester and cash, but the MLBPA vetoed the trade.
In February of 2004, the New York Yankees acquired Rodríguez in exchange for Alfonso Soriano and Joaquin Árias. The Rangers also ate $67 million of the remaining $179 million on A-Rod’s deal. Off to the Bronx he went.
He moved from shortstop to third base and won the AL MVP in 2005 and 2007, after which he was set to become a free agent. A-Rod stated multiple times that he wanted to wear the pinstripes for the rest of his career.
So in November of 2007 — after becoming the youngest player to ever hit 500 homers — he signed a 10-year, $275 million deal with the Yankees. It broke his own record for largest contract in sports history.
The third baseman retired in 2016 but finished his incredible career four homers shy of 700 and won his lone World Series in 2009. He was a three-time MVP, 14-time All-Star, 10-time Silver Slugger Award winner and two-time Gold Glove winner.
According to Spotrac, A-Rod’s career earnings equal just over $450 million. What’s rich is that the Yankees are still paying him and the Rangers will pay him through 2025. Forbes notes that he’ll have earned $480 million when it’s all said and done.
All the fame and money didn’t come without scandal, though. Rodriguez on multiple occasions was linked to steroids as part of the BALCO investigation and Biogenesis scandal. He was suspended for the entire 2014 season because of his involvement with Performance Enhancing Drugs.
According to Business Insider, he made millions off numerous endorsement deals throughout his lifetime. Companies include Rolex, Mercedes-Benz, Topps, Rawlings, Credit Suisse, Vita Coco and Nike, which was at one point paying him $1 million per year. In 2016, he became a brand ambassador for audio company JBL along with NBA stars Stephen Curry and Damian Lillard.
Citing his belief in a “Plan B” after playing baseball, A-Rod founded AROD Corp. in 2003 to help sustain his wealth throughout his life. Today, AROD Corp. heavily invests in real estate and owns 8,500 apartments and manages 13,000 in 12 states.
You can also catch Rodriguez on TV. He’s served as an MLB analyst for Fox Sports and ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball, in addition to appearing on Shark Tank and hosting CNBC’s Back in the Game.
A-Rod and Jennifer Lopez began dating in 2017 and thus the J-Rod nickname was born. According to Money.com, their combined net worth could approach $1 billion soon considering Lopez’s current net worth is about $400 million. J-Lo’s net worth total is actually slightly higher than Rodriguez’s estimated net worth.
From Los Angeles to New York City, it’s clear this is one of the most high-profile couples in the country. The two have even been rumored in 2020 to attempting to buy the New York Mets.
The sky-high Alex Rodriguez net worth figure is as crazy as you might think.
Alex Rodriguez’s net worth is an estimated $350 million in 2020, according to Cheat Sheet. That makes him easily the highest-paid professional baseball player in MLB history and one of the highest-paid athletes ever.
In an era where you hear about former professional athletes in NFL, NBA and MLB going bankrupt, it’s refreshing to see someone like A-Rod growing his wealth. Even if he was one of MLB’s most hated players during his heyday.

Jesse James’ “Monster Garage” Team Transforms Mustang Into Lawnmower
Who remembers this epic episode from Monster Garage? If fact, it was actually the first episode of the Discovery Channel TV show to be produced, and the challenge was to transform a stock 1990 Ford Mustang GT convertible into a functioning lawn mower. Jesse James and his team members come together to see if they can make it happen, and they didn't disappoint.
Here are the rules: the vehicle must look stock, they can't spend anymore than $3000, and they have seven days total to get it done. Considering the restrictions they had, I'd say the results of this Ford Mustang lawn mower, nicknamed switchblade, were pretty incredible. Who needs a hot rod when they have this?
Jesse may be known as a West Coast Choppers bike builder from Long Beach, but make no mistake, he certainly knows his way around custom-cars as well. They quickly ditched the back seat, mufflers, and catalytic converter, and replaced it with a Briggs and Stratton 10 horsepower mower engine with a 48 inch triangular Delta deck mower, placed just behind the rear wheels. They also attached three cylindrical blades to the doors and rear of the car. Inside the vehicle, they added controls to raise and lower the blades.
Read More: The Nautilimo is a Pink Cadillac Boat Powered by a 100-HP Yamaha Engine
Now, they could have dropped in some Chevy or Dodge V8 engine to up the power, but the car was already outfitted with a rear-wheel drive 200 horsepower 5.0 V8, and they were on a pretty strict deadline so they decided to keep it. After throwing on some gold-spoke wheels the car was ready for a new paint job. It started with a black smoke outline and used a "Kameleon" green-to-silver top coat. By the time they applied the final clear coat, this coupe was looking pretty slick. The whole car just screams that it's from the 90's.
The car actually went up for sale at the famous Barrett Jackson. This place sells everything from Deloreans to firetrucks, and in 2008, this wicked Ford Mustang creation went up on the block. The vehicle sold for $8,030 and it's safe to say they picked up one of the coolest lawn mowers ever made. Imagine cutting your grass at 100 mph, because that's what this car is capable of.
This is an epic throwback moment of television. Really makes you think about how many great shows they had going on at the time. Oh, how times have changed.

How to Preserve Fresh Basil
5 Ways to Preserve Fresh Basil Leaves
Your basil plant won't survive the winter in most areas in the United States. So what are you to do with all the fresh herbs in your garden? Thankfully there are a few different ways to preserve the fresh taste of basil. From freezing basil to making a puree with it, here's 5 ways to preserve fresh basil.
1. Freeze Basil Leaves
You can simply freeze the whole basil leaves or chop them and store them in a container or freezer bag, but keep in mind that they might shrink a little. These leaves are perfect in tomato sauce.
Remove basil leaves from the stem and toss them in a pot with boiling water for 3-5 seconds.
Remove with a slotted spoon and immediately transfer the leaves to a bowl of ice cold water.
Dry the leaves completely and store them in a freezer-safe container or plastic bag.
2.Make Basil Cubes
Chop fresh basil leaves in the food processor and drizzle in enough olive oil to form a paste. Spoon the mixture into an ice cube tray, freeze, and store the delicious flavor cubes in a freezer-safe container or plastic bag.
3. Make Pesto Cubes
Make your favorite pesto recipe in a food processor or mortar and pestle and pour the mixture into an ice cube tray and freeze.
4. Dry Basil Leaves
Remove basil leaves from the stem, wash, and pat dry with a paper towel.
Set your oven to the lowest temperature and place the basil leaves in a single layer on a baking sheet.
Bake the leaves for 2-4 hours until they're completely dried out and crumbly.
Crumble the leaves with your hands and store in an airtight container or mason jars.
5. Make Basil Vinegar
Place 3-4 basil springs into a bottle of vinegar and let it sit at room temperature for about two weeks, gently shaking the bottle every couple of days.

Whatever Happened to S&H Green Stamps?
The S & H Green Stamp was one of the originals trading stamps, and they were collected with great fervor by American families from the 1930s to the 1980s. The small green stamps known as the S & H green stamps originated in 1896 distributed by the Sperry & Hutchinson Company, hence the “S & H” title. The Green Stamps were apart of a rewards program meant to incentivize people to buy their stamps. The Green Stamps were one of the first loyalty programs. Retailers purchased the stamps from the Sperry & Hutchinson Company, and the retailer determined the value and sold them to shoppers. Shoppers would then choose who to shop with based on which retailer’s stamps were cheapest.
At one time, they boasted having sold more stamps than the U.S. Postal service. The S & H Green Stamps were found at grocery store checkouts, gas stations, department stores with denominations one, ten, and fifty points. The perforated stamps had a sticky back to be moistened (probably licked) and stuck to the saver book. which were provided with the stamps. These books were 24 pages long and each page held a value of fifty points.
Collecting the stamps included a rewards program. Parents and children bonded together collecting the booklets of green stamp books wrapped din rubber bands in order to trade them in for various items. Home goods like kitchenware, outdoor gear, and some small appliances could be redeemed from the Green Stamp catalog. Children could redeem the stamps, as well as other collectibles or toys. Many families said that it taught them saving and collaboration.
Business for the program declined heavily during the mid-60s and towards the 70s, with declines win the green stamps valued. In 1972, the Sperry & Hutchinson Company also faced a lawsuit for restricting the trade of stamps. According to the unfairness doctrine, the program violated this in their green stamps program.
After the online boom, the company started offering S&H Greenpoint's online for shopping at their online stores. The Greenpoint, however, could be redeemed at a few stores like the New Jersey and New York Foodtown stores.
In 2013, the founder and owner of Pet Promise and Greenopolic Recycling purchased the S & Hutchinson Company with plans to relaunch the classic program.

Did Wilt Chamberlain Really Sleep With 20,000 Women?
22.9 rebounds per game. 50.4 season scoring average. 100 points in a single game against the New York Knicks.
Records were Wilt Chamberlain's thing. Apart from holding the scoring record for most points in an NBA game approached only by Kobe Bryant, Goliath once led the league in assist as no center had done it before. He's second in career scoring average solely behind Michael Jordan. He shied away from contact and never fouled out in his entire NBA career with the Philadelphia Warriors (who moved to San Francisco in 1962), Philadelphia 76ers, and Los Angeles Lakers.
Wilt cherished records and besting Bill Russell of the Boston Celtics and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar of the Milwaukee Bucks as much as he cherished his love life.
In his 1991 book, A View From Above, The Big Dipper claimed to have slept with 20,000 women in his life. The NBA's seventh all-time scorer stood by his claim, stating he was "just laying it out there for people who were curious."
A View From Above was published when the four-time NBA MVP was 55. If Wilt started getting down to business when he was 15, the former Harlem Globetrotters star would've had to sleep with an average of 1.4 women every day until he turned 55.
One of Wilt's close childhood friends, Tom Fitzhugh, claimed he never saw Wilt date in high school and that he was probably a virgin when he graduated. If that's true and the University of Kansas legend didn't start getting busy until he was 18, the average increases to 1.5 women per day.
It should be said that the NBA player notoriously welcomed double teams and loved threesomes, both on and off the court. Apparently, the professional basketball player once slept with 23 different women on one 10-day road trip. He averaged as many assists per game during his rookie year as he did women that trip.
We'll never know for sure, but in a 1999 interview shortly before he died of heart failure in Bel-Air, the Hall-of-Fame center said he "thought of a number that was a round number that may be close and may be whatever, and I used that number."
In that same interview, Wilt the Stilt showed a more tender side:
"Having a thousand different ladies is pretty cool, I've learned in my life. I've (also) found out that having one woman a thousand different times is more satisfying."
Wilt's a lover, no doubt about that. We celebrate love here, and as well all know, love trumps all.

“Counting Cars” Team Rebuilds a ’41 Buick for Charity
Danny "The Count" Koker constantly stays busy at his Las Vegas custom hot rod shop, Count's Kustoms. Thanks to the History Channel TV show Counting Cars, we've seen tons of beautiful American muscle car creations leave the shop. They've worked on all kinds of classic cars and pickup trucks from Ford, Chevy, Dodge, Cadillac, and so much more. Even today, they're still cranking out new episodes as they get rolling on Counting Cars season 9.
Every now and then, the Count's car show get's a really special project, and this '41 Buick in the 'Big Love Buick' episode was a perfect example. A couple came into the shop and wanted to get a custom vehicle made so they could put it up for auction and raise awareness for a rare disease called NF2. Their only request was that the car was badass, so Danny Koker could go in basically any direction he wanted. He could've gone with a Corvette, Caddy, Monte Carlo, Camaro, or Mustang, but he and Kevin both felt that the '41 Buick was a perfect choice for this one.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XPR9k6I3zSw
The shop dedicated hundreds of hours worth of work on the body, paint, and mechanical components on this old ride. He completely surpassed the former glory that this car once was, and it was entirely transformed into a custom dream car. I mean, this thing is so clean it looks like it should be at a SEMA show. As the couple comes back to see the finished product, they are speechless as Ryan rolls the Buick out of the shop. Together, the couple, Danny, Kevin, and Ryan, all go over the upgrades to this classic.
The first thing you notice about this car is the gorgeous black and orange paint job. It truly pops when the car is rolled into the sun, with the orange shifting to a golden shade. They smoothed out all of the body lines to make this car truly unique compared to how it came from the factory. As he pops the hood, you get a look at the big block Chevrolet 409 engine with modern electronics and even air conditioning.
Moving onto the inside, it was fitted with a custom black leather interior with orange stitching. Looking at the dash shows a perfect blend of black and silver to match the car. Finally, as they open the trunk, they show off the quality sound system which includes amplifiers and multiple speakers. The best part was that they integrated the sound system without losing any of the trunk space.
The final result brings this couple to tears as they say thank you to Danny and the shop. It was exactly what they were looking for, and you can tell this vehicle was made with some serious love. I'm a little surprised that Horny Mike didn't try to put his magic touch on the car. Unfortunately, Roli is no longer on the show, but I know he'd love to get his hands on this one as well. It might not as high dollar as a custom Shelby or Road Runner, but this is undoubtedly one cool car that's going to bring a good chunk of change at auction.
Make sure to catch the rest of the season 9 episodes to keep up with the next crazy project that the shop decides to take on.

Meet the Savage 110 Precision from Savage Arms
We got to check out the 110 Precision from Savage Arms, a gun that's name is about as literal as it gets.
The Savage 110 Precision is a long range bolt action rifle that, from the custom stock to the barrel to the trigger, to the muzzle break, was created with enhanced accuracy in mind.
At the heart of the performance features is the Savage factory-blueprinted action. It's basically a joining together of components so that the action and the bore are in perfect alignment. We're talking tight tolerances, gunsmith level stuff. You're getting a match-grade set of custom components, and even more custom shop style parts as you look further.
The skeletonized stock, known as the MDT LSS XL Chassis, was designed by Modular Driven Technologies and includes a fully adjustable comb height and length of pull. If you're gonna shoot a precision rifle, you might as well shoot one that fits you, and an adjustable stock is the way to make it happen. It's finished with an FDE Cerakote, and that flat dark earth tone does this gun well.
There's a 20 MOA 1 piece EGW rail for optics, a matte black, 20-inch, carbon steel barrel, and a BA muzzle brake. The overall length is either 38.5 or 39.5 inches. It has a reasonable barrel length and a slightly short action, making this gun an instant add to your wish list.
Then, if you take a look at the trigger, you'll recognize that it's Savage's user-adjustable AccuTrigger, their innovative two-piece trigger that works wonders for accuracy.
The centerfire 110 Precision shoots long range ammo in calibers like the 6.5 Creedmoor, 308 Winchester, 300 Win Mag, 300 PRC, or 338 Lapua. It holds 10 rounds in an AICS Magazine.
If you want a gun with a lifetime of elite precision, and want to accomplish the sort of long range shooting that you only thought was possible with a custom rifle you spend a boatload of money on, the Savage 110 Precision is the gun to put at the top of your list. It has an MSRP of $1,499, and you can find out plenty more at SavageArms.com and WideOpenSpaces.com.
'Jeopardy!' Host Alex Trebek Wants Betty White as His Successor
In a tireless battle with pancreatic cancer, while dealing with COVID-19 sending everyone away from their jobs into their homes, host Alex Trebek celebrates his 80th birthday today.
The Jeopardy! longtime game show host has been hosting the game show since 1984, but was diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer last year. According the American Cancer Society, “there is a five-year survival rate of 9% for pancreatic cancer across all stages on average,” but Trebek also explained to Good Morning America that he doesn’t plan on stopping until he can no longer host.
Now that the coronavirus pandemic has also limited his time on the show, the last Daytime Emmy Award winner for “Outstanding Game Show Host” jokingly named a specific person who he thought would be the perfect jeopardy successor: the beloved Betty White.
White actually has an incredible background as a game show host, but Trebek joked with Good Morning America, “I say, ‘Betty White,’ because they want somebody younger, somebody funnier.” He continued to explain that he and the 98-year-old have been long time friends.
On the game show’s official Twitter account, Trebek explained in a video tweet what’s next for the show, along with giving health updates that detail how he’s doing well with cancer treatment, and what he’s been up to during quarantine. He had been writing his memoir, The Answer Is…: Reflections on my life,” and it’s set to come out on July 21st, available on Amazon. Pancreatic cancer is definitely not slowing this guy down at all.
CNN attempted reaching out to Trebek’s representatives for any comments, but have heard nothing back. I wish Alex Trebek all the greatness and health for him, but I also think Betty White would be the perfect successor. Her experience and wit are perfect for this specific job, and she might want to consider seriously if that’s something she would do in the near future.

This Chipped Beef Recipe is Known as S.O.S By Veterans
Veterans and military families alike can tell you one thing: shit on a shingle makes for a delicious lunch or dinner. While it may not sound appetizing, this chipped beef recipe loaded with creamy gravy is comfort food on a plate. Atlas Obscura shares the unofficial term became popular during WW II when the military dish was served to soldiers. The first recipe for the creamed beef on toast comes from the 1910 Manual for Army Cooks and uses beef stock, evaporated milk, parsley, flour, butter, and dried beef. During World War II, soldiers used chipped beef in place of dried.
Once home from the war, soldiers craved the shit on a shingle recipe and shared it with their families, creating home recipes that got passed down. Instead of serving this SOS recipe in the mess halls, families enjoyed it around the dinner table. My dad who was in the Air Force shared that this dish brings back memories of his childhood kitchen.
How to Make Chipped Beef on Toast
Chop your chipped beef roughly and set it aside. If you are sensitive to salt, rinse the beef.
Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in the flour and cook the roux for a minute. Whisk in the milk gradually and season with ground nutmeg, ground onion powder, ground garlic powder, a few drops of Worcestershire sauce, and a squirt of mustard. Cook until thick and season the white sauce with black pepper. Stir in the chipped beef and set the heat to low.
Meanwhile, toast your bread. Once toasted, top with the beef mixture and sprinkle with parsley.
You can also make this creamed chipped beef recipe with ground beef, cooking the beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat until browned and no longer pink. Traditionally this hamburger gravy is served on toast but you can serve it over mashed potatoes or use it in a breakfast casserole.
Whether you are a Marine, or in the Navy, this cream sauce is an every day favorite served alongside hash browns.

Sam Elliott and His Wife Katharine Ross Have a True Hollywood Love Story
Having recently starred in A Star is Born with Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper, and on Netflix’s The Ranch, actor Sam Elliott has been a famous name and mustache in Hollywood for decades. The Golden Globe-nominated actor has been in Tombstone, Road House, The Golden Compass, and was the narrator for The Big Lebowski. Before Tom Cruise, Sam Elliott was in the TV series Mission: Impossible in the late sixties. He and his wife met like many other Hollywood couples, but have managed to do something not many have. They have been married for over three decades. A true Hollywood love story.
Katharine Ross is best remembered as Elaine Robinson in her breakout role The Graduate, opposite Dustin Hoffman. The film earned her an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress, as did her role in The Stepford Wives. Recently she and her husband starred together, again in The Hero a 2017 western film. She and her husband continue to and find joy in working with each other.
The two met in 1969 when they both starred in a western film, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. The movie starred Katharine Ross as leading lady Etta Place, and the famed duo of Paul Newman and Robert Redford. Sam Elliott had a much smaller role in the film, but that didn’t stop fate. Card Player #2 was his role, and he and his future wife didn’t have any scenes together. Given their role differences, Elliott was too shy to speak to Katharine Ross.
In 1978, many years later, they were both cast in another movie, a horror called, The Legacy. They acted across from each other as Pete and Maggie. Ross broke things off with her fourth husband, Gaetano Lisi. She was previously linked to Joel Fabiani, John Marion, and Conrad Hall. Elliott, on the other hand, had yet to be married. A year after they were married, they welcomed their first and only child.
Sam Elliott and Katharine Ross have one daughter together, Cleo Rose. Cleo Rose was born in 1984 and works in the entertainment industry as well. Now 36, Rose is a musician. Her debut album was released in 2008, “No More Lies”.

Florida's Best Starting Quarterbacks Since 2000, Ranked
The Florida Gators haven't exactly hit the lottery when it comes to recruiting and developing quarterbacks this millennium. Obviously, Heisman Trophy winners like Steve Spurrier and Danny Wuerffel stick out from the 1960s and 1990s, respectively. Outside of about four passers, Florida has been plagued by mediocre quarterback play in the 2000s and 2010s.
Here is your list of the 15 best Florida quarterbacks since 2000.
15. Skyler Mornhinweg, the son of former longtime offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg, probably had no business starting at Florida for three games in 2013.
14. Highly-touted high school QB Brock Berlin made his lone start in the 2002 Orange Bowl, but he was later replaced by Rex Grossman.
13. Jacoby Brissett was thrown into the fire in 2011, playing in 13 games before transferring to North Carolina State and starring in the NFL.
12. Tyler Murphy didn’t do much in 2013, but he did break the ACC single-season record for rushing yards by a quarterback at Boston College.
11. Treon Harris replaced Jeff Driskel in 2014 and compiled 3,265 total yards during his 20 games. But he totaled just 22 touchdowns, four of which were rushing or receiving.
10. Austin Appleby was the first graduate transfer to start at quarterback for Florida and wrapped up UF’s 9-4 campaign by winning the 2016 Outback Bowl.
9. John Brantley took over as the starting quarterback in 2010, throwing for 4,105 yards and 20 touchdowns with 17 interceptions. Florida was a combined 15-11 over that time.
8. Luke Del Rio fought through injuries and played in eight games over two years in Gainesville. He threw for 1,637 yards, nine touchdowns and was 6-1 as a starter.
7. Feleipe Franks showed both bright and dark spots while in Gainesville, but went down with injury early in the Gators' 2019 season. He transferred to Arkansas thanks to the rise of Kyle Trask.
6. Jeff Driskel’s 2012 season was decent before he transferred. Behind a phenomenal defense, Driskel helped the Gators to an 11-2 record, and if not for a loss to Georgia, they may have played for a national championship.
5. Kyle Trask needed 10 starts as a redshirt junior to climb this list. His 25 touchdown passes were eighth-most in a single season, and Florida won the Orange Bowl. If Florida and coach Dan Mullen makes a run at an SEC Championship in 2020, Trask will be the reason why.
4. Before Will Grier starred at West Virginia, he dominated SEC schools at Florida. The 2015 Gators were a perfect 6-0 under Grier, which included a win over No. 2 Ole Miss and thrilling comeback win over Tennessee.
3. Chris Leak led the Gators to their 2006 National Championship and helped usher in an era of dominance. He finished his career with 101 total touchdowns, third most in UF history behind Tebow and Danny Wuerffel.
2. Rex Grossman put together three great college football seasons in Gainesville. Grossman’s 2001 First-Team All-American campaign may have been his best. During Steve Spurrier’s final year as UF’s head coach, the future first round NFL Draft pick averaged an NCAA record 9.1 yards per play and finished second in the Heisman Trophy voting.
1. Tim Tebow is the obvious choice. One Heisman Trophy. Two national titles. More than 12,000 total yards and 145 touchdowns. Four great years and forever defining what it means to be a University of Florida Gator.
