Jenna Bush Hager Reveals The Last Words George H.W. Bush Told Sister Barbara
Most people remember George H.W. Bush as the 41st president of the United States. But to his grandchildren, especially to Jenna Bush Hager, they will forever remember him as their beloved Gampy. In her new book, Everything Beautiful In Its Time, the former first daughter highlighted some of her favorite moments of the former president, including the last words he told her twin sister, Barbara Bush, on her wedding day. Barbara married screenwriter Craig Coyne on October 7, 2018, at the Busch Family Estate in Kennebunkport, Maine.
Their Grandfather, former President George H.W. Bush, was in a wheelchair after suffering from Parkinson’s disease. At 94-years-old, Bush was still grieving the death of his wife, 73-year-old former lady Barbara Bush, who died that April. But, it didn’t stop the family nor him from celebrating on that beautiful day.
The Texas native wrote, “We ate a big dinner at the same table where we’d had countless meals in the years before. Gampy sat in between Barbara and me. The last words he ever spoke to her were, ‘You have never been more beautiful.'” President Bush died a month later on November 30, 2018. Still grieving the death of her beloved grandparents, Jenna wrote Everything Beautiful In Its Time: Seasons of Love and Loss as a tribute to them. Her book is a collection of intimate personal essay’s recalling some of the most unforgettable stories and precious moments that she had with her parents, former first lady Laura Bush and former President George W. Bush, and her grandparents. She also wrote about the special connection she has with her sisters.
The Today Show co-host, who goes live with Hoda Kotb, also spoke about her “own imperfections’ as a wife and a mother. Bush Hager shares 4-year-old Poppy Louise and 7-year-old Margaret “Mila” Laura with her husband Henry Hager. Their third child, Henry “Hal” Harold, was born in August 2019. During a recent segment of The Today Show, Bush Hager discussed her book, explaining why she chose that title. She stated that the title came from a Bible passage that she read at her maternal grandmother’s (Jenna Welch) funeral last year. She noted, “It says that everything is beautiful in its time. And I think even grief is beautiful in some ways, because it means you loved the people enough to miss them and to care.”
The former first daughter, who is also a children’s book author, also revealed one thing she picked up from her “Ganny” and “Gampy,” which was writing letters. Apparently when the family wasn’t together the couple would send them heartwarming letters and longhand emails telling them to stay safe and make good choices.
Recalling her grandfather, The #1 New York Times bestselling author stated,
Gampy, you were so down-to-earth — it was among your greatest attributes. I’ll never forget the night you were babysitting us and getting ready to debate Michael Dukakis. Remember when Barbara was upset over losing her stuffed animal, Spikey? Instead of debate prepping, you organized a search party with the Secret Service to find it. It’s funny to think about now, but it’s a moment that will stick with me forever. You may have been a vice president and president, but you were a Gampy to your little pip-squeaks first and foremost. Even with such a demand-ing job, you knew the importance of family. You were happiest when those you loved were around.
We can’t wait to read all the timeless lessons George H. W. Bush taught the Bush’s. You can buy the hardcover of Everything Beautiful in Its Time on Amazon. Book club just got a little bit better.

10 States Every Bird Hunter Has to Visit Once
10 States Every Bird Hunter Has to Visit Once
Why stay in your home state when you and your gun dog can explore all of America's upland hunting opportunities?
Most hunters would probably agree the overall experience of hunting is far more important than the harvest.
Granted, we're all driven by the hope of hanging antlers on the wall, filling the freezer and having an up-close encounter with a wild animal. But the harvest is usually just the cherry on top. It's everything else we soak in throughout the process that makes hunting so special.
I think this sentiment applies the most to upland bird hunting.
First, birds don't vary in size or trophy quality near as much as a big-game animal. They don't offer antlers like a cervid or horns like a ram for us to measure and compare.
What they do offer, however, is quantity. If you go to the right place at the right time, you can see action all day.
Even if you find yourself in a tough spot, though, you're still able to enjoy the experience of exploring beautiful country while watching your trained bird dog hard at work.
Additionally, the quantity element of upland hunting isn't limited to just the number of birds you can see in a day. There are also a ton of different birds you can hunt all over the United States.
Instead of constantly hunting your uncle's land down the road over and over again, you can explore new terrain and chase new birds with different behavioral patterns.
That said, you could write an upland bucket list in a million different ways. But these are the 10 hunts I have on my own horizon.
[embed_recommendations]
10. Oklahoma
Bobwhite quail numbers are down nationwide, despite valiant efforts to revitalize populations. Almost every state continues to report a decline in quail numbers, but Oklahoma somehow thrives even on a down year.
"We are sitting right at the 10-year average. That last two years was a boom, and now we are back down to average," said Derek Wiley, upland game biologist with the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation in a study. "It is not something to panic about. Even 'average' in Oklahoma is much better than in most states."
If you're looking to move a ton of bobwhites, a trip to Oklahoma is a must.
9. Nevada
Chukar aren't native to the U.S., but of all the northwestern states they were introduced to, Nevada may offer the best hunting opportunities.
With the healthiest population of any state, a long season (early October through early February) and a daily bag limit of six, the Silver State could be called "The Chukar State."
Bird hunters from all over the country travel to Nevada for this unique bird, so if you're looking for a top-notch desert hunt, this is the place to go.
8. Kansas
Kansas offers a wide variety of upland hunting opportunities, but no other state can rival Kansas' prairie chicken population. In fact, more than half of the lesser prairie chicken population lives in Kansas. They've flirted with the Endangered Species Act, but are currently legal to hunt.
However, getting the opportunity to harvest one isn't so easy, as the vast majority of them live in an area where hunting is currently closed. While Kansas' prairie chicken hunting requires a little studying up and checking with Kansas Department of Wildlife regulations, the Sunflower State still remains a coveted destination for this special bird.
Plus, Kansas prairies will offer hunters breathtaking scenery and a hunt like no other.
7. Wyoming
Sage grouse, the largest of all non-turkey upland birds, are easily the most exotic birds on this list. Known for their fascinating courtship rituals, sage grouse not only offer a spectacle, but also a ton of meat.
If you ask any serious western upland hunter, they'll tell you Wyoming is the one and only place worth hunting them, and that nowhere else compares.
With a trip to Wyoming, you'll be trekking through grasslands with big sagebrush and beautiful, mountainous backdrops, all to pursue one of America's most iconic game birds.
6. Minnesota
If you're going to hunt ruffed grouse, do it right. Minnesota offers other upland opportunities, but ruffed grouse is king here.
A trip to Minnesota will feature the perfect grouse conditions: great autumn weather, deep pockets of aspens, complimentary spruce trees and tons of grouse flushes.
Other states offer more variety in their grouse woods, but Minnesota is the place to go if you want to specifically chase ruffed grouse.
5. Montana
Montana offers a lot to bird hunters, but what's always drawn my attention is its landscape and its range of sharptail grouse. The Treasure State is the fourth-largest in the U.S., and sharptails cover the whole thing.
There are many other birds one can hunt in Montana, too, including ring-necked pheasant, ruffed grouse, spruce grouse, sooty grouse, greater sage grouse and chukar. But no state can challenge Montana's sharptail numbers.
Plus, a hunt in Montana means watching your dog traverse some of the most beautiful country America has to offer.
4. Alaska
When most people think of hunting in Alaska, they imagine a spot-and-stalk for a moose or a week-long brown bear archery hunt. But bird hunters daydream about Alaska a little differently.
The state obviously features some magnificent land to explore, and a ton of it. Upland hunters fantasize of letting their dogs lead the way through the Last Frontier, chasing ruffed grouse, sooty grouse, spruce grouse and sharptail grouse, but also ptarmigan.
Here, you can hunt willow ptarmigan, rock ptarmigan and whitetail ptarmigan with a ton of success if you know where to go.
Alaska should be on everyone's bucket list.
3. South Dakota
The "Pheasant Capital of the World" is generally the first out-of-state destination on every bird hunter's list. South Dakota not only holds more ring-necked pheasant than any other state, but the population continues to increase.
According to South Dakota Game, Fish & Parks, the 2018 statewide pheasants-per-mile index was 2.47, an increase from the 2017 index of 1.68.
Some of the more notable areas to chase pheasants in the Mount Rushmore State include Huron, Eureka and Redfield. North of Pierre, you'll find healthy populations of prairie chickens, sharp-tailed grouse and gray Hungarian partridge, too.
2. Arizona
[caption id="attachment_172701" align="aligncenter" width="675"] Gun Dog Magazine[/caption]
Arizona exclusively offers hunters with one of the most iconic experiences in all of bird hunting: the quail trifecta. The Grand Canyon State's marvelously diverse terrain alone makes for a one-of-a-kind hunt, but it also allows three different species of North American quail to survive: the Gamble's Mearns and scaled.
Now, there are two other quail species in Arizona—bobwhite and California—but hunters come to Arizona to complete the trifecta, which only includes the former three.
Each of the three quail flaunt vastly different behavioral patterns, making the hunt a challenge like no other. Scaled and Gambel's quail are known to run at high speeds as long as they can before finally flushing, where as Mearns don't run at all, but rather crouch low and hide.
Each radiates beauty with its own unique set of features, yet each remarkably compliments its desert setting.
1. Idaho
South Dakota probably gets more attention from bird hunters than any other state, and rightfully so. But I'd argue Idaho presents the best upland hunt in America.
First off, it offers what many western states offer: millions of acres of huntable land. In fact, more than two-thirds of Idaho is public land.
Second, it features spectacular terrain that delivers a mountain hunt that could challenge any other hunt out there.
But most importantly, it gives you six famed birds to pursue at once: ruffed grouse, blue grouse, sharptail grouse, Huns, chukars and valley quail.
Bird hunters visit the Gem State with the hope of bagging all six, arguably the tallest task in all of upland hunting.
What does your bucket list look like? Let us know!

This original post was published on February 11, 2019. The post was updated on September 10, 2019, to reflect editorial corrections around details surrounding the lesser prairie chicken hunting regulations in Kansas. While the Greater Prairie Chicken Hunting Unit is open to hunters, the Southwest Prairie Chicken Unit (where the majority of Kansas' lesser prairie chickens are) is currently closed to hunting.

Andy Griffith Turned Brad Paisley's 'Waitin' on a Woman' Video into a Sentimental Classic
Brad Paisley's "Waitin' on a Woman" wasn't new in 2008 when Andy Griffith appeared in its music video and a subsequent video mix sent out to country radio. A prior version of the Don Sampson and Wynn Varble composition appeared on Paisley's 2005 album Time Well Wasted and as a bonus track on a reissue of 2007's 5th Gear. However, it went from album cut to one of the best sentimental songs in recent country music history after the star of The Andy Griffith Show and Matlock assumed the role as its wise old man.
"Who's the perfect person to sit next to you on a bench and tell you, 'Here's some advice, son'? Andy Griffith," Paisley explained in his spotlight interview during the 2018 Country Radio Seminar in Nashville. "I wrote him a letter. I told him, 'I grew up watching [The Andy Griffith Show]. Your show helped me raise my son. I now know how to raise a boy because of watching that show. If you want to be in the video, that would be great, but if not, thank you for everything you've done.'"
In the music video, a newlywed played by Paisley waits as his young wife shops in the mall. An older married man reassures him that the right partner is literally worth the wait. The old man also figures his wife will outlive him, but waiting for her once again, this time in Heaven, will also justify his patience.
The song further established Paisley as a traditional-minded country star, willing and able to dispense the sort of earthy wisdom associated with the fictitious folks of Mayberry, North Carolina. It also reconnected Griffith, whose best-known program introduced The Dillards to the masses, with a country music audience.
The song became Paisley's eighth consecutive song to top Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart. Its music video won the 2008 CMA Award for Music Video of the Year.
"Waitin' on a Woman" Lyrics
Sittin on a bench at West Town Mall
He sat down in his overalls and asked me
You Waiting on a woman
I nodded yeah and said how 'bout you
He said son since nineteen fifty-two I've been
Waiting on a woman
When I picked her up for our first date
I told her I'd be there at eight
And she came down the stairs at eight-thirty
She said I'm sorry that I took so long
Didn't like a thing that I tried on
But let me tell you son she sure looked pretty
Yeah she'll take her time but I don't mind
Waiting on a woman
He said the wedding took a year to plan
You talk about an anxious man, I was nervous
Waiting on a woman
And then he nudged my arm like old men do
And said, I'll say this about the honeymoon, it was worth it
Waiting on a woman
And I don't guess we've been anywhere
She hasn't made us late I swear
Sometimes she does it just cause she can do it
Boy it's just a fact of life
It'll be the same with your young wife
Might as well go on and get used to it
She'll take her time because you don't mind
Waiting on a woman
I've read somewhere statistics show
The man's always the first to go
And that makes sense cause I know she won't be ready
So when it finally comes my time
And I get to the other side
I'll find myself a bench, if they've got any
I hope she takes her time, cause I don't mind
Waiting on a woman
Honey, take your time, cause I don't mind
Waiting on a woman

'Reba' Cast: Where Are They Today?
Is there anything Reba McEntire can't do? She's one of the biggest female voices in country music but she's also a talented actress who's pretty hilarious. That's probably why in addition to starring in multiple films and made for TV movies, she led her own sitcom conveniently called, Reba.
The show followed the recently divorced Reba raising her three children and hilariously dealing with her ex and his new girlfriend in the suburbs of Houston, Texas. The show lasted for six seasons and even won McEntire a People's Choice Award for Favorite Female Performer.
Unfortunately, the show was canceled in 2017 when WB became the CW. It's been 13 years since the show wrapped, so let's see what the main cast it up to now.
Reba McEntire
The sarcastic but loving mother Reba Hart was the heart of the show. A few years after the show ended, Reba led an ABC sitcom, Malibu Country, although it only lasted 18 episodes. She also became the first female Colonel Sanders for KFC in a series of commercials. As for music, she released another seven studio albums and served as a guest advisor on The Voice.
Christopher Rich
Ah the ex-husband Brock Hart. Rich did a great job playing Brock who, despite leaving his wife, had hilarious chemistry with McEntire on screen. After the show ended Rich continued making TV appearances on Boston Legal, Melissa & Joey, Desperate Housewives, and more.
JoAnna Garcia Swisher
Reba's daughter Cheyenne Hart-Montgomery marries her high school boyfriend on the show after he knocks her up. Reba takes it all in stride even after Cheyenne's boyfriend Van moves in with the family. Outside of the show, JoAnna Garcia married former professional baseball player Nick Swisher in 2010 and they have two adorable daughters together. McEntire and Peterman were even bridesmaids on the big day.
She's continued to have a presence on TV appearing on Gossip Girl, Once Upon a Time, The Mindy Project, The Astronaut Wives Club, Kevin (Probably) Saves the World, and most recently the Netflix series, Sweet Magnolias.
Scarlett Pomers
Middle child Kyra Hart got her mama's sass and was full of a rebellious spirit. Sadly in real life, Pomers suffered from an eating disorder which led to an absence in season 5. Following the show, she only appeared in the Disney original movie, A Ring of Endless Light, before retiring from acting. She founded her own band, Scarlett Pomers Band, and released her own EP in 2010.
Steve Howey
Van Montgomery was the high school football player who knocked up Cheyenne Hart. His tendency to be a bit dim-witted just made him more loveable. He has a strained relationship with his parents, but his character grows very close to Reba and her family over the course of the show. It's especially heartwarming to see him connect with his daughter, Elizabeth.
Following the show, Howey has played the role of Kevin on Showtime's Shameless since 2011. He is married to actress Sarah Shahi and the couple has three children together.
Melissa Peterman
Who could forget the homewrecker with a heart of gold, Barbra Jean? After playing the ditzy dental hygienist who broke up Reba's marriage, she went on to play the mom for six seasons in Baby Daddy on ABC Family (now Freeform). She also appeared as the host on CMT's The Singing Bee. She and Reba are actually great friends in real life and she even performed stand up on one of McEntire's tours as an opener.
Mitch Holleman
Youngest child Jake Hart was generally always the reasonable one and had some solid one-liners. Holleman has only had a few acting appearances since the show ended including The Hangover and Shake It Up.

'Designing Women' Cast: Then and Now
Designing Women told the story of four southern women in Atlanta, Georgia, working at the fictional interior design firm, Sugarbakers & Associates. Running for seven seasons on CBS, viewers followed the women as they talked about how difficult it was to be women in business, experienced love and heartache, and just generally embraced the meaning of being a southern lady. It also gave us some incredible 80s hairstyles.
Here's what the main cast has been up to since the show ended in 1993.
Dixie Carter
Carter starred as Julia Sugarbaker, the president of Sugarbaker & Associates. She ran the company out of her beautiful house and was the epitome of southern class, always up for putting someone in their place if need be.
After the show ended, Carter went on to star in Family Law and had recurring roles on
Ladies Man on CBS and Desperate Housewives on ABC. Carter passed away from endometrial cancer in 2010.
Annie Potts
The sarcastic lead designer at the firm, Mary Jo Shively, was played by the incomparable Annie Potts. While the Nashville native has had a solid film career with lots of memorable characters including Janine Melnitz in Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II, Iona in Pretty In Pink, Helen Downing in Who's Harry Crumb? and Liz Carlson in Jumpin' Jack Flash, Potts has also been the voice of Woody's love interest, Bo Peep, in Disney's Toy Story Pixar franchise, in Toy Story, Toy Story 2, and Toy Story 4.
Following Designing Women, Potts went on to star in Love & War, Dangerous Minds, and Any Day Now. She has also appeared in GCB, The Fosters, Ugly Betty, Hallmark film The Music Teacher, Two and a Half Men, NCIS: New Orleans, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Boston Legal, Chicago Med, Major Crimes, and Joan of Arcadia. She is currently starring as Meemaw on the CBS sitcom Young Sheldon.
Jean Smart
Smart played the sweet but naive and ditzy office manager from Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Charlene Frazier-Stillfield. The TV show was Smart's first big break in the biz and she has gone on to have an incredible career. She was nominated for a Tony after starring in the Broadway production of The Man Who Came to Dinner. She's appeared in numerous romantic comedy films like Life As We Know It, Youth in Revolt, and Sweet Home Alabama.
Smart won an Emmy Award for her role in Samantha Who? as well as Critics' Choice Television Awards for her roles in Fargo and Watchmen.
Delta Burke
The self-absorbed Suzanne Sugarbaker was the sister of Julia. Burke was able to use her former beauty queen days as Miss Florida to bring her character to life and ended up earning a couple of Emmy nominations. At one point, Burke was incredibly close with her castmate Dixie Carter who was even the Maid of Honor at her wedding. But there were some onset disagreements with the number of hours required and Carter sided with the production team. Ultimately, Burke was let go after the fifth season of the show.
Burke went on to star on Broadway in Thoroughly Modern Millie and Steel Magnolias. She also had a short-lived show, Delta, followed by a brief resurrection of Suzanne Sugarbaker in Women of the House. She has continued appearing on various TV shows including Boston Legal, Drop Dead Diva, and most recently, Dolly Parton's Heartstrings on Netflix.
Meshach Taylor
The lone man at the design firm was Anthony Bouvier, the ex-con turned delivery man who is pursuing a law degree. His character was actually only supposed to appear in one episode, but did such a great job and had a great vibe with the ladies so he was kept on for the rest of the series.
After earning an Emmy nomination for his role as Bouvier, Taylor went on to appear in M*A*S*H, Hannah Montana, The Drew Carey Show, Dave's World and was Lumière in the Broadway production of Beauty and the Beast. He even had his own HGTV show in 1996, The Urban Gardener with Meshach Taylor. The actor passed away in his Los Angeles home in 2014 after a battle with cancer.

Jane Fonda Once Skinny Dipped With Michael Jackson
Breaking News! Jane Fonda, daughter of Henry Fonda, is out here living everybody’s dream. The actress is currently on an “I do what I want” phase, and my gosh, it is probably the best thing I’ve ever seen her do. The beloved activist and actress recently sat down for an interview with host Andy Cohen on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live, and she definitely spilled some beans. So much so that she even surprised Cohen with an anecdote about Michael Jackson from the 1980s.
Did you know that Michael Jackson actually lived with the 82-year-old actress for about a week while she was filming On Golden Pond? Yep, talk about a very strange dynamic duo. Not only that, but both of them partook in some skinny-dipping. Speaking about the Thriller singer, she stated, “I found him touching, a very interesting character. I knew him well. I went to his house a lot. He came over to my house a lot. I skinny-dipped with him, how about that? Put that in your pipe and smoke it.” The King of Pop knew exactly what he was doing with that scandalous activity, great showbiz.

Skip Bayless’ Wife Will Always Take a Back Seat to His Job
All sports fans know who Skip Bayless is. Whether you love him or absolutely hate him, his opinions are trending every time you turn around. It has been this way for years and his voice is louder than ever. Knowing what he’s like outside of the sports media space, however, has certainly been a little bit of a mystery.
From his days as a sports columnist to now as a television personality and social media warrior, Bayless’ life has been consumed by sports. It’s the biggest part of his identity and a jaw-dropping net worth proves he’s been quite successful throughout his career.
When the camera is on, Bayless is the king of scorching takes. When the camera is off, the 68-year-old enjoys his time with his wife Ernestine Sclafani. Needless to say, it’s been a tough balance because his job has always been his top priority. He even admitted that on their first date.
John Edward Bayless II — known by all as Skip Bayless — grew up in Oklahoma City, loves the Dallas Cowboys, and has churned out an impressive career in sports. After graduating from Vanderbilt, he has been a sportswriter across the United States for the Miami Herald, Dallas Morning News, Dallas Times Herald, Los Angeles Times, and Chicago Tribune.
Bayless also hosted sports talk shows and even published books before his stardom in weekday television working alongside Stephen A. Smith at ESPN on “Cold Pizza” and “First Take” before teaming up with Shannon Sharpe for “Skip and Shannon: Undisputed” on Fox Sports 1.
Love always seemed to escape him early in his career, though.
Bayless was married once before to his high school sweetheart before the couple separated years later. He was also in four long-term relationships that didn’t work out. Then, one day at ESPN, he met Ernestine Sclafani, and the rest is history.
How Skip and Ernestine Sclafani Bayless met was as sweet as it was awkward. Working for a public relations agency at the time, Ernestine’s client was called to the set of“Cold Pizza.” Skip, of course, was the famous host of the ESPN2 show.
Bayless forgot some notes, however, and rushed back to his dressing room to retrieve them during a commercial break. That’s when Skip and Ernestine met, according to her book “BALLS: How to Keep Your Relationship Alive When You Live with a Sports-Obsessed Guy,” which is available on Amazon.
“He literally ran past the door of the green room, where we caught each other’s eyes,” Ernestine wrote, via Yahoo sports. “I guess I gave him a look of familiarity because he stopped and said, ‘Do I know you?’ …He later confided that he wasn’t sure what to say—he gets possessed during his show, just lost in how to win the next live TV debate. So now neither of us was thinking clearly.”
Sports has always been his life, however. Skip even told Ernestine on their first date that she would always be “1A to my job.” She decided to stick around.
Skip Bayless and Ernestine Sclafani, a New York native, dated for 11 years, including a six-year engagement, before tying the knot in 2016. She also appeared his show on a couple of occasions last year while debating the NBA and his favorite NFL team in Texas.
Being Skip Bayless' wife has to be a full-time job, but they make it work.

Tom Hanks, Steve Martin, and Martin Short Have Colonoscopy Parties Together
There’s nothing like having good friends to share the good and the bad with. Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Tom Hanks take this very seriously by having literal poop parties. Steve Martin and Martin Short were on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' promoting their comedy tour and Netflix special, “An Evening You Will Forget for the Rest Of Your Life" where they confessed that they have started having colonoscopy parties every couple of years.
The trio participates in their 'Colonoscopy Eve' party at Martin's house, where they have jello and follow the all-liquid diet they’re instructed to adhere to prior to the procedure and make a night of it. The next day they all go into a private clinic to get their colon cancer screening.
The Hollywood actors have also gotten creative about their colonoscopy process. They play cards to determine who has to go last, one of the three or their other friend Walter Parks, who often attends these pooper parties. Then they all drive together.
There do state that there is a catch to the parties. It’s necessary to empty the bowels to prep for the exam, meaning no solid foods. One of the parts of the liquid diet is drinking what is probably some form of a laxative. In Martin and Short’s words, the bathroom looked like “Day 14 of a Carnival Cruise” just 5 short hours after they arrived. The bathroom also was compared to “..look[ing] like a Jackson Pollock.”
If you are over the age of 45, regular colon cancer screenings are recommended by the American Cancer Society for early detection and prevention. Steve Martin says that it helps to keep them each accountable and that the Colonoscopy Eve is a “great way to do something that you should do.” Talk about a wild but productive late-night, huh? Not our kind of party, but hey, is good health is definitely important. I wonder if their health care provider knows about these parties?

How to Make Texas Kolaches
It may come as a surprise that one of the most Texan dishes out there was brought to the Lone Star State by Czech immigrants. Kolaches can be sweet or savory; you might find these Czech pastries filled with cream cheese or apricot or blueberry fruit filling topped with powdered sugar, or with a poppy seed filling.
In the 1950s, Village Bakery in West, Texas, put an even more American spin on the kolache recipe with the creation of the klobasniky, or a sausage kolache. It looks a little like the breakfast version of a pig-in-a-blanket, but this savory kolache recipe is so much better.
The kolache starts with a basic pastry dough like a donut. A stand mixer with a dough hook makes the process much easier, but you can also mix everything by kneading it in a large bowl. 12 sections are rolled out into a rectangle and topped with shredded cheddar cheese, jalapeño slices, and a cooked sausage link then rolled back up and placed on a baking sheet, seam-side down.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the kolache on the baking sheet. While the oven preheats, let the kolache rest, then bake until golden brown. While they're going to smell amazing, give the pastries a chance to cool before you try them because they are going to be hot, hot, hot! Serve this doughnut with a side of mustard.

Who Is Peyton Manning’s Mysterious Wife?
Former NFL quarterback Peyton Manning‘s life has been under a microscope nearly his entire life. We know the Super Bowl champion and five-time MVP is Hall of Fame-bound after his terrific NFL career with the Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos. We know that Peyton has quite the comedic side judging from the hilarious commercials and classic Saturday Night Live skits.
Of course, he comes from the National Football League’s first family. Olivia and Archie Manning produced quite the trio of football talent in Peyton, longtime New York Giants’ Eli Manning and Cooper Manning, whose son Arch Manning is throwing touchdowns in high school. We even know Peyton’s net worth, which shows he won’t be hurting for money any time soon.
How about Peyton Manning’s wife, though? Peyton and Ashley Manning have two children together, but how did they meet, what does she do and just exactly who is she?
Who is Peyton Manning’s Wife Ashley Manning?
Born Ashley Thompson in Memphis, Tennessee, Ashley Manning actually first met her future husband in Tennessee.
According to Bleacher Report, the two met when her next-door neighbor introduced them the summer before he enrolled at the University of Tennessee in 1994. Ashley headed east to attend the University of Virginia, but the pair stayed together and got married in 2001.
Despite receiving a ring from the greatest quarterback in NFL history, Ashley has kept a relatively low profile and stayed out of the spotlight unlike the wives of other great NFL quarterbacks like former New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen.
She has, however, made exceptions. In 2007, she and the NFL player attended a dinner at the White House that honored Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip. When Peyton hosted the 2017 ESPYs, she accompanied him on the red carpet. She also was wrapped up in headlines in 2015 when she reportedly had HGH shipped to her.
How Many Children Do They Have?
Peyton and Ashley Manning have two children together and live in Denver. She gave birth to twins, son Marshall Williams and daughter Mosley Thompson, in March 2011.
The twins apparently take up a great deal of the couple’s time. Peyton reportedly had an offer to come out of retirement and play for the Miami Dolphins in 2017 but didn’t take it because he would miss his carpool duties.
He’s also received offers to become an NFL broadcaster but seems intent on being a father. In 2018, he and his son were spotted at a Denver Nuggets basketball game. Now, Peyton has said he’s traded in his helmet for a life on the sidelines as his kids’ flag football coach.

Reba McEntire's Singing 'The Lord's Prayer' Still Gives Us Chills
Reba McEntire was part of the memorial service in Houston, Texas for former president George H. W. Bush last year. The singer performed "The Lord's Prayer" at the funeral service for Bush, who passed away on Nov. 30, 2018 at the age of 94.
"It was an honor and privilege to sing at President George H.W. Bush’s funeral this morning. He was a great friend and leader and I will never forget the time we shared together," McEntire wrote on her Facebook page.
McEntire was one of two country acts to perform during the memorial service for the 41st president. The Oak Ridge Boys, longtime friends of the late president, performed "Amazing Grace," fulfilling a promisethey made to Bush before his death.

Constance Nunes Is the Hottest Mechanic in the Business
Out of all the mechanics we can think of, no one looks quite as good doing their job than Constance Nunes from the popular Netflix show Car Masters: Rust to Riches. She’s the only woman on the crew at Gotham Garage, but she’s a wicked talented engine specialist.
It’s not often that you find a mechanic who also doubles as a smoking hot model, but don’t let Candace’s looks fool you. She’s got tremendous amounts of experience working in the automotive industry. She’s certainly no stranger to being in front of a camera, but for many, the show gave folks their first glimpse at who Constance is. Let’s learn a bit more about the interesting life this woman leads.
Constance Nunes Career
Constance was surrounded by car culture pretty much since she was a child. Her father was a drag racer, and the rest of the family were gearheads that loved to work on cars. She learned a ton from just helping out on the many different projects growing up.
As she progressed further along in her auto industry career, she began working in the service departments for such big-name auto brands as Ford, BMW, Acura, and Audi. Not only did she work for dealerships, but she also held jobs at a variety of different garages in the Los Angeles area. Her experience is one of the reasons she’s so respected around Gotham Garage, and while she maintains a no-nonsense attitude, she’ll also let her work do the talking for her.
If you’ve seen Constance, it shouldn’t be hard to understand how she can also be a model during her time away from the shop. She’s appeared as a car model at the Grand Prix of Long Beach, and has also worked on campaigns for such companies as Wrangler, Jockey, and Feral Cosmetics. Additionally, she was featured in commercials for Motorola and the Kim Kardashian Hollywood game on mobile.

Venison Meatloaf
You'll be blown away by the uniqueness of this venison meatloaf recipe, courtesy of wild game cook extraordinaire Jeremy Critchfield, aka HuntChef.
We've found what might possibly be the oddest, strangest, yet most delicious version of venison meatloaf ever. What makes it so odd? Well, it's wrapped in bacon, grilled, shoved onto a stick, and placed inside a tortilla.
Sure, you'll find the typical ingredients as the basis of the recipe, but the exciting tweaks HuntChef makes to the traditional meatloaf prep send this dish into overdrive.
The most important thing is that we're given yet another method of food preparation that helps encourage eating what we kill.

How to Cook Kick Ass Chicken Thighs | Grill Girl | Wide Open Eats
I gotta agree with 'Grill Girl' Robyn Lindars here: Chicken thighs are the superior poultry protein when it comes to grilling. Keep your chicken breasts because grilling chicken is all about the dark meat. According to Lindars, who runs grilling seminars for women, many women ask her about cooking BBQ chicken breasts, where she suggests grilled chicken thighs are the way to go. Crispy, juicy, and cheaper to prepare, boneless chicken thighs are a great alternative to breasts whether it is for a weeknight meal or a large gathering.
