The Tragic Life and Death of Candace Muzny
On Monday, February 17, Candace Muzny was found dead in her Ski Island home, near Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The 43-year-old former NASCAR driver reportedly died due to accidental drowning, a medical examiner determined Wednesday.
Muzny had just been arrested last month for after allegedly punching a nail technician for not speaking English and cutting a responding police officer with a pocket knife. She had only been out of jail for a few days before her tragic death.
Former NASCAR Driver Candace Muzny Death
Muzny’s body was discovered around 5 p.m. local time on Monday afternoon. Neighbor Raushae Jones witnessed firsthand the immediate tragedy and shock surrounding the incident.
“I just pulled in right there, and the woman was already in the front crying and she was on the phone with somebody,” Jones told Fox 8.
“They always seemed like nice people, so I didn’t really – I don’t know. It was just shocking,” Jones said.
Muzny’s death was initially ruled suspicious, though a medical examiner’s office report later concluded that the cause of death had been accidental drowing. Muzny had only been out of jail for a few days, having been released on Friday.
Candace Muzny Arrest
On January 12, Muzny was arrested after slapping and yelling at a manicurist for speaking Vietnamese to a co-worker. When another co-worker attempted to call police, she threatened him with a pocket knife and punched him in the face, according to a police report.
“We were speaking in our native language about my pay, and then she said to ‘f***ing stop speaking that language or I will slap you in the face,'” manicurist Tiffany Nguyen told News9 in January.
“She got me cornered, and I fell. But I was able to kick her, and she lunged and tried to put a knife up to my throat a couple of times.”
In an interview with Heavy.com, Muzny gave her side of the story.
“I asked her three times to stop speaking Vietnamese to me,” Muzny said. “I was paying with the American dollar.”
“I think if you’re speaking to an American who is a customer of yours, and you know they’re not Vietnamese, it’s rude to talk to them in a language they don’t understand. She needs to get back to Vietnam. If she wants to live in America and serve Americans, she needs to speak the language they speak.”
When a Oklahoma City police officer arrived at the nail salon, Muzny’s dog began biting the officer’s leg. She also struck the officer behind the ear with her pocket knife, leaving him with a small cut. Muzny was charged with assault & battery on an officer, three counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery, resisting an officer, and interfering with a 911 call.
Candace Muznzy Racing Career
Muzny competed in the NASCAR Late Model Divisions and NASCAR K&N Pro Series. She also raced in the 2007 Toyota All-Star Showdown and 2009 Last Chance Open.
When the former race car driver was coming up in the sport in her 20s, her skills did not go unnoticed. Even famous fabricator and TV personality Jesse James praised Muzny’s potential.
“Candace is a very skilled and patient driver. The sky is the limit for her. And the best thing? She is not shooting for the stars,” James told The Orange County Register back in 2005. “She’s humble and willing to put the time in and learn and take each step with confidence.”

This is the Fart Spray That Led a Grandma to the Most Vulgar Response
This liquid fart spray must really smell bad because Grandma not only assumes that she farted, but she told her granddaughter that she smells like cat shit. This is the funniest thing ever.
This prank spray bottle is available on Amazon for under $10. If you're down for funny pranks, you have to give Liquid Ass a try. It's a best seller under Gag and Practical Joke Toys, so it must be as bad as Lynn's Grandma thinks.
Customer reviews are everything. I mean, this customer tells you everything you need to know. Dogs love poop, if they can't handle the smell of the prank stink mist, you know this stuff smells awful. People are saying it smells like sewage, dead animal, skunk, and stinky butt.
"This is what you call thick funk."-Lynn's grandma.
This is a wonderful gag gift. I can't wait to play a fart prank on the entire office. We all know that taco Friday can mess with your belly. If you're the prankster of the family, spray the Liquid Ass fart spray in the living room. Just completely out of nowhere, and watch your family go crazy.
Since coronavirus has everyone indoors, you might as well use liquid ass spray to make things a bit more fun. Grab a bottle from Walmart.
To take the fart spray prank to the next level, place some fake poop in the house somewhere.

Ed Orgeron’s Salary Makes Him King of Louisiana
The LSU Tigers are on top of the college football world, and head coach Ed Orgeron is basking in the glory. Not only did he receive a $500,000 bonus for winning the College Football Playoff National Championship Game, but he also got paid in a big-time way when it was over.
Before the season, Orgeron wasn’t even one of the 25 highest-paid NCAA coaches in the country. His bonus checks certainly elevated his status, and now he can yell “GEAUX TIGERS!” all the way to the bank.
According to Bruce Feldman of The Athletic and Fox Sports, LSU and Orgeron, the consensus Coach of the Year, agreed to a six-year contract extension worth over $42 million in January 2020. It’s the second year in a row the 58-year-old has earned a new contract, and this news likely means he will stay home in Louisiana until the end of his career.
This should surprise absolutely nobody, especially considering what Orgeron has helped build in Baton Rouge. Since taking over as the interim coach in 2016, the Tigers are 40-9 and 11-1 in the last 12 games against top-10 foes. That’s incredible, and to say Orgeron deserves the pay increase is a massive understatement.
Playing in the SEC West during the regular season is no joke. Taking over for Les Miles, who was fired, was no easy task, either. Yet, Orgeron has exceeded any expectation, and then some. Capping it off with a 15-0 record and a convincing CFP national title win over Clemson on ESPN just adds more icing on the cake.
Orgeron originally signed a five-year deal when he took over as the full-time LSU football coach. He then received a two-year extension before the 2019 season, which included a big salary increase. Now, he can officially say he’s among the top-paid college coaches in the country.
In 2019, Orgeron’s annual base salary was $4 million before any bonus incentives. He likely made around $5 million when it was all said and done. That’s definitely changed.
With the reported six-year deal worth more than $42 million — an average of at least $7 million per year — Orgeron has definitely been elevated to a new tax bracket, and rightfully so. Even Kentucky’s Mark Stoops made more than him last season.
With a big annual salary, Orgeron now belongs in the conversation with Clemson’s Dabo Swinney, Alabama’s Nick Saban, Michigan’s Jim Harbaugh, Texas A&M’s Jimbo Fisher, Georgia’s Kirby Smart, Auburn’s Gus Malzahn, Oklahoma’s Lincoln Riley and Florida’s Dan Mullen, according to USA Today Sports’ salary database.
Winning certainly comes with a price, though. Orgeron will have to move forward without Heisman Trophy winner Joe Burrow, defensive coordinator Dave Aranda (now the head coach at Baylor) and passing game coordinator Joe Brady, who took the offensive coordinator position with the NFL’s Carolina Panthers.
Even the Southeastern Conference is seeing turnover in 2020, including new head coaches at Missouri (Eliah Drinkwitz), Ole Miss (Lane Kiffin), Mississippi State (Mike Leach), and Arkansas (Sam Pittman).
From a graduate assistant at Northwestern State to Miami to Syracuse to the NFL to Tennessee to USC to LSU, and anywhere else in-between, It’s been a long, windy road for Orgeron in his career.
Ed Orgeron is back home now. He’s happy. He’s damn good at his job, and he’s not going anywhere. LSU athletic director Scott Woodward made sure of it.

Kit Kat Released a Birthday Cake-Flavored Candy Bar in April
It may not be your birthday today, but today still calls for some birthday cake treats. Kit Kat has announced that they're releasing a Kit Kat Birthday Cake bar. It will be a limited-edition flavor, so be sure to catch them while you can. They'll be hitting store shelves in April. It's so close!
We've seen a lot of birthday cake-flavored food and drinks over the years. From Dr Pepper Birthday Cake to Halo Top Birthday Cake Ice Cream, there are plenty of ways to get your special cake fix any time of the year. Luckily Kit Kat is on board with birthday cake flavor because a crispy wafer and white crème frosting will be so satisfying.
Yay for white chocolate frosting! This is the first time Kit Kat will add sprinkles to a Kit Kat candy bar. What's a birthday cake without sprinkles? Everything the new Kit Kat entails makes it sound exactly like the birthday cakes we love from the bakery.
I have a feeling the Kit Kat Birthday Cake bar will taste like an ice cream cake or birthday cake with buttercream frosting. (By the way, if you need a birthday cake anytime soon, Walmart has the best ice cream cake I've ever had).
Leave the cake mix, Funfetti cake frosting, and cake pans in the cabinet. Once April rolls around, all you'll need to do is visit Amazon or a grocery store aisle for the cupcake taste you tastebuds long for.
It looks like Kit Kat has eight new Kit Kat flavors coming in 2020. Instagram user markie_devo says it's going to be the year of the Kit Kat. Take a peek of what could possibly be in store for us.

2020 Hurricane Forecast Predicts ‘Above-Normal’ Season With up to 4 Major Hurricanes
Two months from now the 2020 Atlantic hurricane season will officially begin, meteorologists from AccuWeather have already started examining the factors that can influence tropical activity for this year. Forecasters are anticipating a busy year for the Atlantic Basin in 2020, which is on the heels of an active 2019 season.
AccuWeather top hurricane expert and meteorologist, Dan Kottlowski, just released the 2020 Atlanta and hurricane forecast. Along with this team, they are calling for 14 to 18 tropical storms during the upcoming season, which will run from June 1st through November 30th, 2020. Of those storms, they are expecting 7 to 9 to become hurricanes, and 2 to 4 are predicted to strengthen into major hurricanes. According to Kottlowski, “It’s going to be an above-normal season. In a normal year, we have around 12 storms, six hurricanes, and roughly three major hurricanes.”
Last year marked the four consecutive years of above-average activity in the basin, tying in 1969 for the fourth most active hurricane active season on record. Featuring, Hurricane Dorian, Lorenzo, and Humberto as well as Tropical storm Imelda, the 2019 season resulted in 18 storms and cost more than $11 billion in heavy damages. Most significantly, the damage affected North Carolina leaving severe damage to the coastal and central regions.
Forecasters have also drawn comparisons to previous years with comparable weather conditions, also known as analog years as part of the method to formulate this season’s predictions. For 2020, AccuWeather meteorologists are looking closely at the years 1980 and 2005.
Back in 1980, Hurricane Allen developed a category 5 storm, which wreaked havoc on Haiti before moving over to lower Texas which killed more than 200 people. The expert stated 2005 was a “hyperactive year,” which resulted in 28 storms. There were so many storms in 2005 that the predetermined list of names for the season was heavily surpassed and the last few storms took on Greek letters as names Which were set by the World Meteorologist Organization.

Best Quarterbacks in College Football History
College football fans love to debate each other until they’re blue in the face about anything and everything. Naturally, one of the hottest debates every year is about the best quarterback to ever play. In the NFL, that debate is ends with Tom Brady. But in college, greatness is defined numerous ways depending on when and where each football player starred.
Welp, get ready to pull your hair out if you’re not a fan of former Florida Gators quarterback Tim Tebow. He’s been named the best college quarterback ever.
SportingNews compiled a list of the 10 greatest signal callers in college football history, a list that begins with the 2007 Heisman Trophy winner from Florida.
Tebow is one of two college quarterbacks with at least 80 touchdown passes and 50 rushing touchdowns in his career. Tebow also holds NCAA records for most career games scoring a touchdown (38), most consecutive games with a passing and rushing touchdown (14), and ranks fourth all-time in passing efficiency (170.8). Plus, the dual-threat whiz owned every major SEC record for total offense when he left Florida.
Today, he still owns the career mark in the conference for total touchdowns with 145. His single-season record of 55 was broken in 2019 by LSU’s Joe Burrow.
Spoiler alert: Some heavy-hitting passers were left off this list.
College football’s all-time leader in passing yards, Houston’s Case Keenum, didn’t make the cut. A two-time national championship game winner and All-American like Alabama’s A.J. McCarron wasn’t mentioned. Ohio State’s J.T. Barrett and his Big Ten record 147 touchdowns weren’t a factor. Oklahoma’s Baker Mayfield? Nah. Even small school guys like Louisiana Tech’s Colby Cameron, whose NCAA record 444 consecutive passing attempts — that’s 12 games — without an interception, couldn’t get a nibble.
Other Honorable Mentions include Keenan Reynolds, Navy; Kellen Moore, Boise State; Ty Detmer, BYU; Michael Vick, Virginia Tech; Jameis Winston, Florida State; Robert Griffin III, Baylor; Danny Wuerffel, Florida; Andrew Luck, Stanford; Drew Brees, Purdue; Colt McCoy, Texas; Johnny Manziel, Texas A&M; Cam Newton, Auburn; Sam Bradford, Oklahoma.
That’s how prolific this list of college football quarterbacks is. Here is the‘ list of the greatest to ever do it:
Best College Quarterbacks of All Time
1. Tim Tebow, Florida
2. Peyton Manning, Tennessee
3. Matt Leinart, USC
4. Tommie Frazier, Nebraska
5. Vince Young, Texas
6. Deshaun Watson, Clemson
7. Roger Staubach, Navy
8. Doug Flutie, Boston College
9. John Elway, Stanford
10. Sammy Baugh, TCU

No one is certain where this casserole originated, but the mystery is irrelevant because the King Ranch Chicken Casserole is so delicious. Repeat layers of smoked chicken are stacked with roasted red peppers and sealed with a layer of crispy corn tortillas and cheese in a baking dish. Not only is this casserole recipe a delicious crowd-pleaser, but this King Ranch casserole is a make-ahead, time-saving, genius hack.
How to make King Ranch Casserole:
In a large skillet over high heat sauté the yellow onion, red bell pepper, and green bell peppers until warmed through.
In a large bowl combine cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, diced tomatoes, diced green chilies, chicken broth, sour cream, ground cumin, chili powder, and oregano. Season with kosher salt and black pepper. Add the pepper mixture and mix to combine.

Kyle Larson’s Wife Is a Babe Who Loves Beer
Kyle Larson’s firing from Chip Ganassi Racing may be dominating the NASCAR news cycle, but, we’re here to talk about the NASCAR driver’s better half: A smokeshow from Grass Valley, California named Katelyn Sweet.
The sister of World of Outlaws driver Brad Sweet, Katelyn Sweet officially became Katelyn Larson on September 26, 2018. The couple has two children, Owen Miyata Larson (5) and Audrey Layne Larson (1), and live in Mooresville, North Carolina.
Katelyn, an avid runner and former horseback rider, may be a mom of two, but that doesn’t mean she still doesn’t like to party from time to time. Who can forget the time she was the star of the NASCAR Awards back in 2019?
Katelyn Larson Shotguns Beer at NASCAR Awards
NASCAR likes to do award shows a little bit differently than the average organization, and nothing showed that more than when Katelyn Larson shotgunned a beer at the NASCAR Awards show in Nashville, Tennessee on December 4, 2019.
Katelyn proved how sweet she really is (get it? because her maiden name is Sweet?) when she threw back a Busch tallboy like she was at a Talladega tailgate. I’ll take, “badass things you can do in an evening gown” for $1,000, Alex.
Now, before you go getting your undies in a bunch: Yes, we realize that Katelyn didn’t actually shotgun a full Busch tallboy, as the 16-ounce can appears to be either empty or mostly empty. So, yeah, maybe the stunt wasn’t entirely legit, but shotgunning a pre-opened beer still beats most of the hokey gimmicks you see at award shows these days.
As you may know, Larson’s Busch moment was a homage to her celebratory shotgun at victory lane at Dover International Speedway back in October 2019, after Kyle won the playoff race at the Monster Mile. As you can see from the below footage, Katelyn’s excitement over her husband’s big win led to a, lets just say, not-so-successful shotgun.
As Kyle Larson’s wife and Brad Sweet’s sister, Katelyn has been around professional auto racing for most of her life. Meaning, she’s probably shotgunned a fair share of beers in her day. Hey, even the pros can get rusty.

Songs Every Tanya Tucker Fan Knows By Heart
Tanya Tucker songs have captured the attention of country music fans since the veteran singer took "Delta Dawn" to the top of the country music charts at age 13. Despite a sometimes turbulent and controversial life as a young woman, Tucker avoided the usual trappings of child stardom with the ability to hold on to her audience for decades to come instead of ridin' away into no man's land.
America loves its child stars. This pint-sized country singer with the adorable "Teddy Bear Song" and the Donna Fargo cover "The Happiest Girl in the Whole USA" in her repertoire was a can't-miss attraction. She made appearances on TV shows, radio stations and signed with Columbia Records.
But Tucker was more than a novelty act as a child, as she could sing of heartbreak and lovesick blues with the power and conviction of a grown woman. Changing country music trends and tabloid gossip limited her popularity for a time. Still, that same mighty voice eventually proved to be timeless as country fans sought more traditional-sounding stars in the late '80s. She showed that timeless sounds don't go out of style. This shift in Nashville's musical climate made a Texas girl the toast of Tennessee.
Tucker's latest album While I'm Livin' has rightfully earned the country singer-songwriter praise among critics and longtime fans. The album, produced by Brandi Carlile and Shooter Jennings, is nominated for a Grammy for Best Country Album at the 2020 Grammy awards.
With decades of experience comes a back catalog of potential "greatest hits" candidates. As often happens with these lists, what's the best and where it ranks among other great songs is a matter of opinion. It will always be hard to narrow down a career like Tucker's, but these 10 cuts define a legendary and ongoing career driven by a true rebel's instantly recognizable singing voice.
10. "Little Things"
While young Tucker captured fans' hearts with a weathered voice that sounded mature beyond its years, there's something equally admirable about Tucker as a contemporary artist who's lived through enough to make nearly any song of love, loss, or longing believable.
9. "Would You Lay With Me (In a Field of Stone)"
At risk of leaving out other deserving songs ("Highway Robbery," "Pecos Promenade"), it'd be a bigger shame to skip the signature version of an often-covered country song.
8. "Lizzie and the Rainman"
This mid-'70s song, in the mold of movies' folk and country-inspired title tracks, became Tucker's most successful pop crossover hit, despite the accessible sound of her career comeback.
7. "Blood Red and Goin' Down"
Classic '70s album What's Your Mama's Name helps define Tucker's early career. On this number-one single, she tells a believable story of family drama and murder through the eyes of an adolescent.
6. "My Arms Stay Open All Night"
Tucker's mighty voice suited whatever song tempo or production techniques suited the time. Her talent as a song interpreter shined as bright when country music went pop in the '90s as it did when she was a teenage sensation.
5. "It's a Little Too Late"
When rock and classic country-inspired songs lit up the charts, few caught as many ears as this loud, sassy, and pop-accessible hit from 1992.
4. "San Antonio Stroll"
There's nothing quite like about Texas, as sung by proud Texans. Tucker must feel right at home at the local honky-tonk, from Billy Bob's on down, based her take on such dives' nightly musical offerings.
3. "Texas (When I Die)"
Tucker's rocking TNT album included this honky-tonk tribute to her home state. It's one of many great songs that likens beautiful, bountiful Texas to the sweet by-and-by.
2. "Two Sparrows in a Hurricane"
Tucker left a mark on a new era of sentimental country hits with this tale of a couple with a shared love strong enough to overcome the odds. My heart can barely handle the way Tucker sings these lyrics.
1. "Delta Dawn"
Sometimes, nothing can quite match the impact of a star's breakthrough hit. Teenage Tucker's jaw-dropping cover of a song she learned from the great Bette Midler remains a groundbreaking moment in country music history.
Honorable mentions: "Strong Enough to Bend," "If Your Heart Ain't Busy Tonight," "Here's Some Love," "Can I See You Tonight," "Tell Me About It," "Down to My Last Teardrop," "I'll Come Back As Another Woman," "Love Me Like You Used To," "If It Don't Come Easy," "One Love At a Time," "While I'm Livin'," "Bring My Flowers Now," "Love's the Answer," and "The House That Built Me."Tucker's latest album While I'm Livin' has rightfully earned the country singer-songwriter praise among critics and longtime fans. The album, produced by Brandi Carlileand Shooter Jennings, is nominated for a Grammy for Best Country Album at the 2020 Grammy awards.

The Classic Car Wash Scene in “Cool Hand Luke”
Hollywood is constantly upping the ante when it comes to edgy material. What was considered pretty wild a couple decades ago can now be fairly tame in comparison. Case and point, the sexy car wash scene.
In 2020, including a sexy car wash scene in a movie is about as risqué as a tube of toothpaste. But, in 1967, it was considered pretty groundbreaking. So, when Cool Hand Luke came out more than 50 years ago, seeing a hot blonde suds up a car was enough to get audiences’ eyes to bug out of their heads, Looney Tunes style.
In the classic scene in question, the car-washing Lucille puts on quite the show, while Luke (Paul Newman), Dragline (George Kennedy), and the rest of the Florida prison chain gang look on in awe. It doesn’t really get much more classic than this!
Now, as many of you probably, Cool Hand Luke was more than just a smut film from the late ’60s. Directed by Stuart Rosenberg, the Warner Bros. flick raked in more than $16 million at the box office and was nominated for four Oscars, including Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Original Score, Best Actor (Paul Newman), and Best Supporting Actor (George Kennedy, who would win the award). It’s widely considered to be one of the best movies of the 20th Century.
But, what many fans of the film may not know is that the woman who plays Lucille, Joy Harmon, was more than just a no-name extra.
Joy Harmon
Born in Flushing, New York, Joy Patricia Harmon eventually moved with her family to Connecticut, where she was eventually a Miss Connecticut contestant. She was a contestant on Groucho Marx’s You Bet Your Life, and later became a regular his subsequent show, Tell It to Groucho.
With several guest starring roles on Gidget, Batman, and The Monkees, played a 30-foot-tall party girl in the movie Village of the Giants.
She got out of show business in 1973, and later started a bakery, Aunt Joy’s Cakes, in Burbank, California.

Remember That Time Stevie Nicks Married Her Best Friend’s Husband?
Stevie Nicks, the goddess of Fleetwood Mac, is a true gem with amazing vocals, hair, and a sense of humor. Which is why we love her. But, as with anyone we love, there are always those moments when we are tempted to say “oh, turns out I didn’t know them that well.” Well, unfortunately, we’re going there. This is about that time Stephanie Lynn Nicks married Kim Anderson, her best friend’s husband.
Although the American singer had decided to never marry or have children, the singer-songwriter did just that. Believe it or not, Nicks was married for only 3 months and it was to her best friend, Robin Anderson’s husband. Robin Snyder Anderson and Nicks for best friends for 20 years. Unfortunately, Anderson was diagnosed with leukemia in 1981, and while in remission she found out she and her husband, Kim, were expecting a child.
Two years later Anderson tragically lost her battle to cancer. The baby, Matthew, had been born shortly before Robin passed away. Distraught and grieving, the “In Your Dreams” Grammy Award winner wanted to help raise her best friend’s child. She believed this would keep Anderson’s memory alive.
So, the queen of rock convinced an also grieving Kim Anderson to get married so she could help raise the baby as her stepson. Three months in, after reportedly feeling her friend Robin’s presence in baby Matthew’s nursery disappear, a little clarity hit her. She quickly opened up about the situation on Oprah’s Master Class a few years back calling her decision “beyond insane.” Because well…she married her best friend’s widower. Still, while this triangle is very bizarre and losing your best friend is tough, she did it out of a good heart. Right? I mean, it’s pretty sweet in its own way. That’s what I want to believe, anyway.

Derek Jeter’s Net Worth: How Large “The Captain” Lives in Retirement
Even though he was a little early to the party for Major League Baseball players earning insane salaries, Derek Jeter sure made a ton of money during his career with the New York Yankees and built a gigantic net worth.
One of the most famous and popular players in MLB history, Jeter played his entire career in pinstripes before moving on to a career in a front office. His popularity allowed him to also make stacks of cash with endorsements, so it should be no surprise that the legendary shortstop is loaded.
Derek Sanderson Jeter was grew up in Kalamazoo, Michigan, but was born in Pequannock Township, New Jersey in 1974. He began playing little league baseball while growing up in Michigan, making a name for himself while at Kalamazoo Central High School and winning multiple awards such the 1992 Gatorade High School Player of the Year Award and USA Today‘s High School Player of the Year.
Because he was such a talented prospect, Jeter was taken with the sixth-overall pick during the 1992 MLB Amateur Draft of his favorite childhood baseball team, the New York Yankees. Instead of accepting a scholarship offer from the Michigan Wolverines baseball team, Jeter decided to join the Yankees.
Although he was a top prospect, Jeter played in the minor leagues until 1995, when he was finally called up to the majors due to some injuries. The following season, Jeter would start at shortstop for the Yankees on Opening Day and hit his first career home run. Jeter would go on to win the Rookie of the Year award that season as well as a World Series trophy — the first of five in his professional baseball career.
Jeter spent 20 seasons as a baseball player in New York, being selected to 14 All-Star games, winning the 2000 All-Star Most Valuable Player, 2000 World Series MVP, five Gold Glove award, and five Silver Sluggers. Jeter is also one of just 32 players to have 3000 careers hits. He finished his career sixth all-time in hits with 3,465.
In 2020, Jeter was selected to the Baseball Hall of Fame, missing out on a unanimous selection by just one vote. Jeter was joined by Larry Walker, the only other selection of the 2020 class.
As one of the best players in Major League Baseball history, it should come as no surprise that Jeter made a lot of money over the course of his 20-year career. In 1999, Jeter began making millions from the Yankees and did so until he retired. By the time he called it quits in 2014, he had $266.2 million in salary earnings.
The only baseball players to have higher career earnings in league are Alex Rodriguez, Albert Pujols, and Miguel Cabrera. Rodriguez was by far the highest-paid in league history with $450.2 million earned throughout his career.
He has always been one of the top faces of Nike. He also had endorsement deals with Gatorade, Discover Card, VISA, and Ford, among others during his career.
In 2014, Jeter also started the website ThePlayersTribune.com.
What he is now known for is his work for the Miami Marlins. He became a part owner of the team in 2017 and has overseen the day-to-day operations of the team.
Jeter has a long dating history, and has been linked to Mariah Carey, Jessica Biel and Minka Kelly over the years. He is currently married to model Hannah Davis.
Right now, Derek Jeter’s net worth is an estimated $200 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.Even though he was a little early to the party for Major League Baseball players earning insane salaries, Derek Jeter sure made a ton of money during his career with the New York Yankees and built a gigantic net worth.
Right now, Derek Jeter’s net worth is an estimated $200 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

Remembering Singer Bill Withers
Songwriter, Bill Withers, who was known for the timeless classics “Lean on Me”, “Lovely Day”, and “Ain’t No Sunshine,” died at the age of 81 on March 30, 2020, due to heart complications. His music has been used countless times to help boost morale during exact times like these, so it’s important to remember the legacy he left. Withers was a three-time Grammy Award winner who stopped making music around the mid-80s.
His songs have become (still to this day) popular soundtracks to play during the more important moments in life. His strong voice over bluesy melodies, soulful funk, and groovy beats evoke homely and warm emotions in all his listeners. “Lean on Me” and “Ain’t No Sunshine” hit the Rolling Stone’s list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time, and “Lean on Me” was played at the inaugurations of former presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama.
Born in Slab Fork, West Virginia, Withers lived an incredibly eventful life for someone who became a legendary singer-songwriter. He joined the navy at 17 years old and worked as an aircraft mechanic for 9 years. After getting discharged, he moved to Los Angeles and was working at an aircraft parts factory when he bought a guitar and started recording demos towards getting a recording contract. By 1971, under the guidance of Booker T. Jones, Withers put out “Just as I Am”, his first album signed under Sussex Records. “Ain’t No Sunshine” was on this album, hitting no. 3 on Billboard charts and was in the top 40 for 16 weeks. A year later, he came out with the classic “Lean on Me” on his second album “Still Bill.”
Later came “Lovely Day”, co-written by Skip Scarborough, featuring Withers holding out the note on the word “day” for 19 seconds. His “Live at Carnegie Hall” album also hit the Rolling Stone’s 50 Greatest Live Albums of All Time. In 2015, Stevie Wonder inducted him into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. By that time, he had received a Grammy award for both ‘Ain’t No Sunshine” in 1971 and “Just the Two of Us” in 1981. His music was sampled in “No Diggity” by BlackStreet, “Bridging the Gap” by the Black Eyed Peas, and “Sunshine” by Twista. Rest in Peace Bill Withers. May your legacy continue to carry us through the most difficult times.

This Texas Aquarium Doubles as a Thrilling Water Ride
Aquatica San Antonio is one of the coolest waterparks around because somehow it combines two of our favorite things; water slides and an aquarium. The sea creature theme park is owned by Seaworld San Antonio and you've never seen anything like it.
This park doubles as an aquarium and lets you see marine life as you explore various rides around the park. Thank you Seaworld Parks for giving us a place to enjoy tropical fish while also riding
Stingray Encounter
The only attraction like it, it's a total once in a lifetime animal encounter. For $15 you get to ride on a tube underneath an archway full of stingrays. Where do I sign up for an annual pass? Right here, and honestly the prices are super affordable.
It wouldn't be a water park without some amazing water slides
The new Ihu's Breakaway Falls is the tallest drop in Texas so ride if you dare. Looks pretty fun though! Another thrilling ride and one of a kind experience is the Walhalla Wave. It takes you on a tube across a zero-gravity wall in case you wanted to know what it felt like to be weightless.
Tassie's Twisters is basically the water park version of a roller coaster. Grab a tube and twist around at high speed.
Don't forget about all the cool wave pools you can check out. body slides, lazy rivers, anything you could think of that's all perfect for the whole family. There's so much to do you might want to plan for consecutive days on your trip and make it a weekend!
Single day tickets are $49.99 but it's only $25 more for a 3 day, 2 park pass that also gives you access to SeaWorld. Don't forget to check the website for special deals throughout the year and make sure to check out Aquatica next time you find yourself in San Antonio.

The “Bullitt” Car Chase Is Steve McQueen at His Best
You can’t call yourself a true classic car fan, or a movie fan for that matter, until you’ve seen the Hollywood classic Bullitt, which came out all the way back in 1968. That’s more than 50 YEARS ago, and yet this flick still holds up. Time flies when you’re driving fast.
Featuring the legendary Steve McQueen as San Francisco cop Frank Bullitt, this Oscar-winning film has one of the greatest car chase sequences of all time and helped solidify the highland green '68 Mustang as one of the most classic movie cars in history. If you don’t know what we’re talking about (but here’s hoping that you do), we come bearing YouTube clips.
This nearly 11-minute car chase scene made every big-time movie producer in need of a high-speed car chase scene head on down to the streets of San Francisco to use those endless hills for some truly breathtaking jumps. Not to mention, this chase set the stage in general for plenty of epic big-screen chases in future action movies.
We know it may look so easy here, mainly thanks to the incredible driving of stunt driver Bill Hickman, but don’t try any of this driving in real life. That should go without saying, but you never really know these days. The filming process for the iconic scene was actually a lot more challenging that you might think. Fun fact: The filmmakers actually ruined more than one sports car during the process of filming the famous car chase.
But, judging from the end product, which was filled with epic close-ups and amazing long shots, it was certainly worth it. At least we think it was. You’d really have to ask the folks over at Warner Brothers.

Every Farm Girl Needs This Chicken Purse
Next time you're at the county fair, flea market, or wherever you feel stylish wearing your cowboy boots, you need the perfect handbag to pull your outfit together. Dress for the occasion, right? I can't imagine not using this rubber chicken purse at my next rodeo.
Leave your designer handbags and crossbody bags at home. This is the most stylish bag since Alan's Indiana Jones satchel made its debut in The Hangover. The details and design are impeccable. From the yellow beak and red handles, I have to say this chicken bag favors my favorite farm animal.
Rubber Chicken Purse - The Hen Bag Handbag
The Sarut Group made sure that we'd love this bag for many reasons. Y'all, it is so roomy and lightweight! The zipper opening is 6.5 inches long and it only weighs 12 ounces. I'm pretty sure it's bigger than most of my tote bags. You'll be able to fit a coin purse, cell phone, and other necessities in your new purse. You can find the hen purse in stock on Amazon.
Chicken ladies, you know you're obsessing over this bag. Add it to your wishlist and ditch your old shoulder bag! Show the world that you're the queen of all things homestead. I know, this bag is silly, but it's adorable. I get the feeling that this bag is a conversation starter as well.

With a 4.5 average rating and sweet reviews, you know people enjoy taking this purse out and about. Don't be embarrassed to use it! I'm 100% more likely to start up a conversation with the girl using the rubber chicken purse rather than the one with the designer messenger bag.
What's next? Cow purses? Horse purses? They'll all make great gift for chicken lovers.

Steve Irwin's Kids are Following in his Footsteps
It looks like the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree when it comes to the Irwin family. The family of the late Steve Irwin has reportedly helped rescue 90,000 animals including those falling victim to the wildfire devastation. Yes, the family is keeping Steve Irwin’s legacy alive. Terri Irwin, wife of Steve Irwin, and their children Bindi and Robert Irwin own and operate the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital. Irwin, also known as the Crocodile Hunter, died in 2006 after being injured by a stingray.
Through an Instagram post, Bindi Irwin shared several images of orphaned fox cubs who were recovering from the fire. She stated, “Wildlife Hospital takes in animals from all over Australia. Hundreds of grey-headed flying foxes, a species listed as vulnerable, have been flown to Queensland after the rescue center they were recovering in was at risk from fire and evacuated.”
According to Steve Irwin's son, Robert, the family was able to treat treated their 90,000th patient at the Wildlife Hospital, who is a platypus rescued from the inferno named “Ollie, the orphaned platypus, is receiving round the clock care until the family can release him back to the white. The raging Australia wildfires burned over 12.35 million acres of land, which is twice the size of Vermont, and is believed to have killed over 500 million animals since the beginning of Australia’s bushfire season in September.
According to ecologists at the University of Sydney, the figure only includes mammals and does not include bats, insects, or frogs. Australia’s minister for the environment, Sussan Ley, stated that up to 30 percent of the koala population in New South Wales’ mid-north coast may have been killed. The region is highly known for its koala population. The true loss of animals was “likely to be much higher than 480 million.”
Safe to save the Irwin family live every day trying to honor the Crocodile Hunter. The family and their Australian zoo are also stars of the popular American Planet TV series, 'Crikey! It's the Irwins' where they show a peak of their everyday life.

The Major Difference Between Bleach & Splash-less Bleach
As I was shopping for bleach, I came across a variety of Clorox bleach products that I've never touched before. I've always used regular bleach for all of my everyday cleaning, but I was surprised to see lavender-scented bleach and splash-less bleach on the store shelf.
I can see why scented bleach may be appealing, but splash-less bleach? It turns out that splash-less bleach is popular for simply protecting your clothes while you clean. I have my fair share of ruined clothes from bleach, so I thought, "Why not give splash-less bleach a chance?" Although, I realized it wasn't ideal for disinfecting.
Does Splash-less Bleach Disinfect?
Unfortunately, splash-less bleach does not disinfect. It is still a powerful cleaner, but it shouldn't be used for sanitizing. The splash-less bleach formula even says on the back of the bottle that it does not sanitize. To prove this, I went to clorox.com and looked at their bleach products.
If you filter to bleach, you see regular bleach and splash-less bleach products. Once you add the disinfecting filter, splash-less bleach disappears from the list. I do appreciate the transparency, but if you weren't aware that it wasn't a disinfectant, it might be time to use Clorox bleach instead.
It seems as that Clorox Splash-Less Bleach will clean your household surfaces of germs, but it won't disinfect your countertops. To fight viruses and bacteria, a product meant for disinfection is what you need.
Continue to use a splash-less formula as a deodorizer or in washing machines to deep clean tough laundry stains. The last thing, check out this review from a customer. You'd think that all Clorox brand products consist of disinfecting household chemicals, but they don't.
Oh, bleach. Out of all of the cleaning products sitting under the sink, you're my favorite. Bleach whitens my dingy fabrics (old college T-Shirts, of course), and keeps my trash can, sinks, and bathtub looking sparkly clean.
This bleach solution disinfects and kills 99.9% of germs and bacteria. This liquid may not have a controlled pour, but you could also put bleach in the bottle cap. Deep cleaning benefits are worth it. You should absolutely prevent the spread of bacteria growth on an array of household surfaces.
Both formulas seem to be excellent on white clothing and tough stains. If you happen to have a no-splash formula, make it the designated laundry bleach. (Keep it next to your laundry detergent and keep out of reach of children.) If you have a regular bottle of bleach, only use that one for disinfecting purposes.
I'll use bleach over splash-less formulas any day. Less spilling does sound amazing, but regular bleach seems to be deodorizing and sanitizing all of my household surfaces just fine.

What is Deep South Chocolate Gravy?
It's not a southern brunch without chocolate gravy and buttermilk biscuits! This Appalachian chocolate gravy recipe is the epitome of comfort food. All you need is for this recipe is:
1/4 cup cocoa powder
3/4 cup sugar
3 Tbsp all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
2 cups warm whole milk
2 Tbsp butter
Sift together the cocoa powder (we prefer Hershey's unsweetened cocoa powder), sugar, all-purpose flour, and salt into a large skillet. Whisk the dry ingredients together and slowly pour in warm milk.
Turn the burner to medium heat and switch your whisk out for a heatproof spatula. Continue to stir and scrape the bottom and sides of the pan until thickened, about 8-10 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in the butter. Serve the chocolate sauce over hot biscuits, ice cream, waffles, muffins, or eat plain with a spoon.

The 8 Coolest Landmarks in College Station, Texas
Texas A&M University is one of the most historic and tradition-laden schools in the SEC. From the yell leaders orchestrating the Midnight Yell to the gathering of students for the Silver Taps, the Aggie traditions are endless and equally awesome.
The school’s military roots trace back to 1876, when TAMU opened near Bryan, Texas, as an all-male establishment known as the Agricultural and Mechanical College of Texas, or Texas A.M.C. Enrollment in the school’s Corps of Cadets was mandatory until 1965, and the school didn’t accept women until the year prior in 1964.
Texas A&M in College Station, Texas features a ton of campus landmarks, historic sites, buildings, memorials, sculptures and statues that the student body and visitors from all over the United States can enjoy. These are the eight coolest of those landmarks.
But first, a few honorable mentions found on the TAMU campus map and around town: Academic Building, Rudder Theatre Complex, Memorial Student Center, Cushing Memorial Library, Sbisa Dining Hall, Administration Building, Sam Houston Sanders Corps of Cadets Center, Reed Arena, Olsen Field, and the Museum of the American GI.
Kyle Field
“Home of the 12th man,” Kyle Field is a must-see and must-attend stadium on Aggie game days. Built in 1904, the venue is not only the oldest stadium in college football but also the third-largest by capacity (102,733) and largest in the state of Texas.
George H.W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum
Easily one of the coolest attractions, the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum has a full day’s worth of things to see and read — 44 million pages of papers and documents, to be exact.
“Pennies for Sully” Sculpture
Texas A&M students are well-acquainted with the sculpture of Lawrence Sullivan Ross, the president of the Agricultural and Mechanical College of Texas from 1891-1898, who embodied the Texas Aggie spirit.
The Dixie Chicken
Serving up barbecue and beer to the College Station community since 1974, The Dixie Chicken is an absolute staple of a watering hole to Aggies and Texans.
Bonfire Memorial
Twelve people died and 27 were injured in the tragic collapse of the annual Aggie Bonfire in 1999. Every year, the Texas A&M students would build and light a stack of 5,000 or so logs sometimes as high as 105 feet high before TAMU’s game against the University of Texas until tragedy struck that year. One week later, Texas A&M upset the heavily favored Longhorns, 20-16, in a highly emotional game.
Five years later, the Bonfire Memorial was dedicated in the same spot to honor the lives lost in 1999 and serve as a reminder of the Aggies’ core values.
Century Tree
Century Tree is an absolutely massive low-hanging live oak tree on campus that was planted over 100 years ago. It’s more than just an ancient, beautiful work of Mother Nature, though.
12th Man Statue
A statue commemorating E. King Gill, known as the 12th Man Statue, now sits outside of Kyle Field.
“Welcome to Aggieland” Water Tower
It’s not as old as Old Main, the very first building constructed on campus, but the large “Welcome to Aggieland” water tower that currently welcomes high school graduates heading for TAMU and visitors to campus has a bit of history behind it.

Paul Walker: How Much Was the Late Actor Worth?
On November 30, 2013, actor Paul Walker was killed in a car crash in Santa Clarita, California, after he lost control of the Porsche Carrera GT he was riding in and crashed into a tree. He was 40.
Most famous for playing the role of Brian O’Conner in the Fast and Furious franchise, Walker’s high-octane lifestyle off-screen practically matched the larger-than-life persona he played in the movies. Here, we’ll look at his early beginnings and how he eventually became the popular action movie star who was taken too soon.
Early Life and Career
Just by looking at his family background, it’s clear that Paul William Walker IV was born to star in action movies. He was born in Glendale, California to a fashion model mother and a father who was both a sewer contractor and a two-time Golden Gloves boxing champion. On top of that, his paternal grandfather had a successful boxing career as well and another one of his grandfathers raced raced factory cars for Ford in the 1960s. You can guess where he got his love of cars from.
Walker got his acting start at a young age, when he began modeling at the age of two. He would start acting in television shows at 12, starring in such shows as Who’s the Boss?, Touched by an Angel, and Highway to Heaven. At the age of 13, Walker began his big-screen film career.
While he had supporting roles in such films as Pleasantville, Varsity Blues, She’s All That, and The Skulls, 2001 was the year that Walker would finally get his big break.

Fast and Furious Stardom
Paul Walker’s transition from supporting actor to mega star happened with the 2001 commercial success The Fast and The Furious. Starring opposite Vin Diesel, Walker would go on to star in five of the seven Fast and Furious installments (The Fast and The Furious, 2 Fast 2 Furious, Fast & Furious, Fast Five, and Fast & Furious 6), and went from making $1 million for the first movie to $15 million for the last.
Walker would go on to win several awards for the Brian O’Conner role, including the 2002 MTV Movie Award for Best On-Screen Team (shared with Vin Diesel), the 2014 MTV Movie Award for Best On-Screen Duo (also shared with Diesel), and the 2015 Teen Choice Award for Choice Movie Actor: Action.
During the success that came from his roles in the Fast and Furious series, Walker also starred in such films as Into the Blue, Eight Below, Running Scared, and Joy Ride.
The Infamous Car Collection
Since this is a car website and all, we’d be remiss if we didn’t bring up the huge car collection — worth more than $4 million — that Paul Walker amassed during his lifetime. Walker had more than 30 cars in his collection, many of which he co-owned with Roger Rodas — Walker’s friend and financial planner who was behind the wheel of the Porsche during the crash that killed both him and Walker.
Here’s a look at some of the cars in Walker’s collection, a few of which were not even street legal in the United States:
Audi S4 (B5)
BMW M1
BMW 2002tii Touring Alpina
2x BMW E30 M3 [41]
3x BMW E36 M3 Lightweight
Chevrolet Corvette (C1)

Rolls-Royce Ghost
Saleen S7
1965 Shelby Ford Mustang GT350SR continuation car
Toyota Supra Mk4
Volvo P1800
Most of these cars were sold at auction following Walker’s death.
The Fatal Car Accident and the Aftermath
On November 30, 2013, while leaving a charity event in Valencia, California, Paul Walker and Roger Rodas were killed after the Porsche Carrera GT that Rodas was driving slammed into two trees and a concrete lamp post. The car burst into flames and both Walker and Rodas died instantly.
