(Description provided by Black Label Trading Co.)
Black Label Trading Company has released its 10-year Anniversary cigar, La Madonna Negra, to select retailers. La Madonna Negra is hand crafted at Fabrica Oveja Negra in Esteli, Nicaragua.
“La Madonna Negra is a culmination of things I’ve learned over the last decade of cigar making. It’s a cigar that not only represents Black Label but also represents who I am today as a cigar maker. It’s bold, as a BLTC cigar should be but, it’s also very refined and elegant. It has layers of complexity and a very unique profile. A mixture of different spice elements combines with aromatic floral notes to create something unexpected. I’m very proud of the result,” said James Brown, creator of Black Label Trading Co. and partner at Fabrica Oveja Negra.
Blend and origin:
Country of Origin: Nicaragua
Wrapper: Connecticut (USA) Broadleaf

Black Label Trading Company is celebrating its 10-year Anniversary. When we started 10 years ago, our goal was to provide exceptional cigars with unique flavor profiles and creative artwork. When founders James & Angela Brown moved to Nicaragua to manage and oversee our factory, Fabrica Oveja Negra, all those years ago, they took Black Label Trading Co to the next level. We appreciate our retailers and customers that have supported us over the years and look forward to the next decade.

(Description taken from Halfwheel.com website)
Wise Blood gets its name from a book of the same name that was the first novel by Flannery O’Connor, a Georgia native. The company describes it as the story of a Southern veteran in the mid-20th century who struggles to reconcile his convictions and deep faith with his lived experience. Wise Blood was also turned into a film that was released in 1979.
“Flannery O’Connor and her Southern Gothic portfolio have had a profound influence on me,” said Leroy Lamar, president of ATL Cigar Co., via a press release. “Wise Blood, in particular, helps me wrestle with faith, race, my relationships with my co-founders, and frankly, my place in this world. We are proud to create a cigar that reflects these deep questions and commemorates such an important work and author.”
The Wise Blood line features an Ecuadorian habano rosado HVA wrapper atop an Ecuadorian Connecticut binder and fillers from three undisclosed regions of Nicaragua. ATL Cigar Co. calls it a mild-to-medium-bodied profile, and is offering it in four vitolas, each of which will be offered in bundles and boxes of 20 cigars:
ATL Cigar Co. Wise Blood Lonsdale (6 1/2 x 42) — $9.99
ATL Cigar Co. Wise Blood Robusto (5 1/4 x 54) — $10.49
ATL Cigar Co. Wise Blood Robusto Extra (6 x 50) — $10.99 REVIEWED TODAY
ATL Cigar Co. Wise Blood Gordito (4 x 60) — $11.99
The cigars are being produced by Luciano Cigars at its factory in Estelí, Nicaragua.

Blog post of review: https://tinytimblog.blogspot.com/2023/07/foreign-affair-toro-extra-6-12-x-52.html
(Description taken from Halfwheel.com website)
Luciano Meirelles, ceo and co-founder of Luciano Cigars, developed the line with Mike Dounoulis, Luciano Cigars’ regional sales manager, and Frank Cossio, co-owner of Astorian Cigar Co. in West Palm Beach, Fla. The blend, which the company says took about a year to finalize, uses an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper, dual binders from Nicaragua and Ecuador, and fillers from Nicaragua, Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic.
Foreign Affair is offered in four vitolas, which are produced at the Luciano Cigars factory in Estelí, Nicaragua.
Foreign Affair Corona (5 5/8 x 42) — $9.50 (Box of 24, $228)
Foreign Affair Rothschild (4 1/2 x 48) — $10.35 (Box of 24, $248.40)
Foreign Affair Toro Extra (6 1/2 x 52) — $11.80 (Box of 24, $283.20) REVIEWED TODAY
Foreign Affair Belicoso (6 x 54) — $12.50 (Box of 24, $300)
“There is something extraordinarily magical that occurs in the shared space of smoke, cigars, and people,” Meirelles said in a press release. “It’s as if barriers are bridged, and guards lowered. The experience goes beyond language, culture, gender, or any sense of otherness. Varied pathways lead to this common ground, a sacred ambience where we can connect and understand that no matter how foreign we may be to one another, the humanity in us overwhelms our perceptive differences. Those once strangers to one another are brought together, under the influence of a worldly cigar.”
Dounoulis added that the idea behind the cigar was to convey the unique and transcendent connection that happens between people when enjoying cigars. “This cigar to me is emblematic of the relationships and bonds we’re able to build in our industry,” he added.

Room 101 Daruma 2023

Blog post of review: https://tinytimblog.blogspot.com/2023/06/room101-daruma-2023-6-x-50-toro.html
(Description provided by Forged Cigar Co.)
Room101 originally released Daruma in 2012 as a follow up to Namakubi to reflect the authentic heartbeat of the Room101 cigar collection. Nearly a dozen years later, Daruma is back to begin a new chapter of perseverance and good fortune.
For those of you who aren’t up on Japanese talismans, a Daruma is a small papier mache figure used in Japan and around the world as a goal setting tool. Its egg-like shape is connected to perseverance: if a Daruma is knocked down, it will stand right back up. When setting a goal for the year, one of the eyes of the figure gets penciled in, and when the goal is achieved, the second eye gets penciled in and the Daruma gets lit on fire in celebration of the achievement. It’s not dissimilar to lighting a cigar to mark a special occasion.
Matt Booth said, “The return of Daruma is symbolic of the relationship with STG and Room101 moving forward. It represents the opportunity for Room101 to spread its wings which has always been our goal. And just as goals change and times change, Daruma has evolved. The Daruma of 2011 would not be the Daruma of today. The blend is correct and appropriate for now and begins a new chapter for both Daruma and Room101. This cigar is exactly what it needs to be, and it gives people exactly what it needs to give them. Light up a Daruma and celebrate how far you come and set a course for your next big adventure.”
Daruma is a Nicaraguan puro made proudly in Nicaragua in partnership with international sex symbol Cory Bappert and Room101’s friends at Oliva.
Daruma will be available in one size, 6” x 50 Toro that will sell for an SRP of $12.99 per cigar. The brand will be distributed by Forged Cigar Company.

Blog post of review: https://tinytimblog.blogspot.com/2023/06/la-unica-no-100-8-12-x-52.html
(Description taken from jcnewman.com website)
Since 1986, La Unica cigars have been offering an outstanding premium cigar value unparalleled in the industry. As with many classics, La Unica Dominican Primeros came from humble beginnings. More than twenty years ago, before the cigar boom, J.C. Newman Cigar Company patriarch Stanford J. Newman, challenged his good friend Carlos Fuente, Sr. with an idea that had never been tried in the cigar industry – to develop a rich, flavorful, superb-tasting premium cigar and package it in an inexpensive cellophane bundle, without costly boxes and trimmings found with other premium cigars. Until that time, factories only packaged their “seconds” in bundles.
Carlos selected the sizes and Stanford approved the blend – a combination of Cuban seed Dominican long filler tobaccos specially aged for maximum flavor and smoothness. When skillfully hand-rolled with a delicate Connecticut shade (light natural) wrapper or a dark rich (maduro) Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, Carlos fulfilled Stanford’s vision. Within six months La Unica became the #1 selling premium bundle cigar in America.
Today La Unica – with the original 1986 blend and smooth rich flavor – preserves the history of the brand. These superb cigars have now grown up from their bundle days and are elegantly packaged in custom cedar cabinets of 20. Despite the maturity of the packaging, we have not strayed from our roots and the original hand selected, perfectly aged blend of tobaccos that make La Unica a favorite.
Handmade by Tabacalera A. Fuente in the Dominican Republic, La Unica continues to be one of the finest cigars on the market.

Blog post of review: https://tinytimblog.blogspot.com/2023/06/macanudo-gold-label-golden-nugget-4-12.html
(Description provided by General Cigar)
Macanudo Gold Label is making its annual return and will mark the occasion with a new, limited edition size available this year only.
Macanudo Gold Label will ship to retailers between May 1 and July 31, 2023 or until this year’s allotment has been depleted. Eight frontmarks will be available, including the “Golden Nugget” which is a new, limited edition frontmark created exclusively for the 2023 season.
The blend was originally released in 2002, and has, for more than two decades, remained a perennial favorite among discerning cigar aficionados.
Steve Abbot, director of marketing said, “Macanudo Gold Label continues to delight cigar smokers with its alluring mellow blend. This cigar makes for a great indulgence on its own and is equally as versatile when it comes to pairing. We’re delighted to bring the blend back for its 21st year and look forward to sharing it with cigar lovers across the country.”
Macanudo Gold Label cigars are named for the brand’s golden wrapper leaves harvested from the first and second primings of the Connecticut Shade tobacco plant. Exposed to less sunlight which allows more natural sugars to remain, each leaf is extremely thin and remarkably supple with barely visible veins. The result is a texture that is especially smooth and silky, and a subtle hint of sweetness on the palate.
The Capa Especial (special wrapper) is combined with the first and second primings of Mexican San Andreas tobacco which is used as the binder and sits atop a blend of Dominican Piloto Cubano and Mexican filler tobaccos. The result is an extraordinary cigar with the traditional smoothness of a Macanudo and a unique note of sweet earth not found in any other cigar on the market.
Macanudo Gold Label is made in Santiago, DR at General Cigar Dominicana and will be available in these frontmarks:

(Description taken from JCNewman.com website)
J.C. Newman launched Brick House; a true Cuban puro cigar made with the finest Havana tobaccos. To honor his family and heritage, J.C. modeled the Brick House label after his childhood home – the only brick house in their small, Hungarian village. Locals and visitors would gather at the house nightly to eat, drink, smoke and enjoy each other’s company. But with the Great Depression came the end of the Brick House.
Over 80 years later, grandsons Eric and Bobby Newman relaunched Brick House using the most exquisite Nicaraguan tobaccos. Wrapped in a hearty Havana Subido™ leaf, every cigar features a rich blend of Nicaraguan tobaccos carefully hand-rolled by master artisans. Aged in the mountains of Nicaragua, every Brick House cigar is a melding of flawless construction, superb quality and master blend.

Blog post of review: https://tinytimblog.blogspot.com/2023/06/el-pulpo-robusto-grande-5-x-56.html
(Description provided by Artesano del Tobacco and taken from Halfwheel.com website)
The EL Pulpo project started back in 2016. El Pulpo means "the octopus" in Spanish.
"We want to focus more on the blend it self, flavors, look, feel, smoke notes. We have been waiting a long time for this cigar." (Billy Fakih, co-owner of Artesano del Tobacco)
El Pulpo—Spanish for the octopus—uses a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over a binder and fillers from AJ Fernandez’s farms in Nicaragua. It is offered in three vitolas, all of which are box-pressed:
El Pulpo Robusto Grande (5 x 56) — $15 (Box of 10, $150) REVIEWED TODAY
El Pulpo Toro Grande (6 x 56) — $16 (Box of 10, $160)
El Pulpo Belicoso Grande (5 3/4 x 58) — $17 (Box of 10, $170)
“We wanted a blend that fits people’s palates the way an octopus fits in different shapes , spaces and becomes that shape, we wanted a blend that becomes hard for any smoker to put down once they light up like an octopus that doesn’t let go of its prey,” said Billy and Gus Fakih, owners of Artesano Del Tobacco, when the cigar was announced in February. “Once again AJ Fernandez has done an amazing job creating EL Pulpo Cigars. We couldn’t be more satisfied with the finished product and cannot wait for everyone to try it. As they say, ‘good things come to those who wait’ and this statement continues to ring true with the EL Pulpo Cigars.”
While the company’s first line, Viva La Vida, is made at the AJ Fernandez factory in Estelí, the new line is made at AJ Fernandez’s San Lotano factory in Ocotal, Nicaragua. The company said it spent more than five years developing this blend.

Blog post of review: https://tinytimblog.blogspot.com/2023/06/la-gloria-cubana-corojo-de-oro-6-x-50.html
(Description taken from Cigar-coop.com website)
Forged Cigar Company has a new release under its La Gloria Cubana brand known as Corojo de Oro. It’s a cigar named for the proprietary hybrid varietal tobacco it uses – Corojo de Oro.
The Corojo de Oro varietal was created by crossing two Cuban-seed tobaccos, Corojo 97-98 and the rare Pelo de Oro. The leaf was grown and cultivated in the Mao region, located in the Northwestern part of the Dominican Republic. The company says while the leaf grown was of wrapper quality, a decision was made to use the Corojo de Oro leaf as the binder for this blend.
The remainder of the blend features an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper and filler tobaccos consisting of Brazilian Mata Fina, Dominican Piloto Cubano, and Nicaraguan Ometepe. The cigar comes in one size – a 6 x 50 Toro. Production comes from the El Credito Cigar Factory, a factory within a factory located at General Cigar Dominicana in Santiago, Dominican Republic. The cigars are presented in 20-count boxes. Pricing is set at $10.49 per cigar. Production is limited but production numbers were not disclosed.
In a press release announcing the La Gloria Cubana Corojo de Oro, Steve Abbot director of marketing for La Gloria Cubana said, “Corojo de Oro was created in the La Gloria Cubana tradition of blending proprietary and time-honored tobaccos. With this special release, our artisans have delivered a cigar with a distinctive taste profile that cannot be replicated in the market.”
The La Gloria Cubana Corojo de Oro follows a similar project released last year known as the La Gloria Cubana Criollo de Oro. The Criollo de Oro crossed a Criollo ’98 leaf with Pelo de Oro to create a hybrid varietal known as Criollo de Oro. The Criollo de Oro leaf was used as the wrapper on the Criollo de Oro cigar.

Blog post of review: https://tinytimblog.blogspot.com/2023/06/aganorsa-leaf-rare-leaf-maduro-toro-6-x.html
(Description provided by Aganorsa Leaf)
Aganorsa is proud to announce an exclusive blend for our Aganorsa Select Program: Rare Leaf Reserve Maduro. Like the original Rare Leaf release, the maduro edition utilizes select lots on our best farms that produce exemplary leaf unique in both flavor and aroma. The result in this case is the boldest expression of Aganorsa’s signature flavor to date. To achieve this level of power and multilayered complexity, a San Andres Maduro wrapper envelops a double binder and fillers consisting entirely of Aganorsa grown tobaccos from Jalapa and Estelí.
“When we launched Rare Leaf in 2021, the idea was to provide our retail partners who make the commitment to our Aganorsa Select Program with a special blend they would have exclusivity on.” states Terence Reilly, who serves as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “Due to the success of the original release and our Aganorsa Select retail partners’ enthusiasm for it, we are adding Rare Leaf Maduro, a truly powerful expression of Aganorsa tobacco and one I haven’t experienced before. This blend will make you sit up and pay attention while smoking or, as we say at Aganorsa, validating.”
Rare Leaf Reserve will ship to participating Aganorsa Select Partners in May. Sizes will consist of a Robusto (5.25 x 52), Toro (6 x 54) REVIEWED TODAY, and a box pressed Belicoso (6 x52). All three vitolas are packaged in boxes of 15 cigars. Suggested retail prices will range from $13.50 to $14.50.

Blog post of review: https://tinytimblog.blogspot.com/2023/05/punch-dad-bod-45-x-60.html
(Description provided by General Cigar)
Dad bod; noun -- the physique of adult males who prefer to drink from a six pack instead of spending countless hours at the gym obsessing over their abs.
The team at Punch is declaring this the “summer of the Dad Bod” with the launch of Punch Dad Bod, a paunchy, limited-edition release that will ship to retail in a cool Father’s Day keepsake that you or your Dad will actually want to hold on to.
Punch Dad Bod comes packed in four, reusable stash cans that each contain five cigars and are complete with Boveda humidification. The keepsake cans can be used as a humidor, a portable ashtray or placed anywhere as a reminder that the Dad Bod is where it’s at.
John Hakim, brand manager for Punch said, “Father’s Day is the perfect time for us to let the world know that we salute dads, the Dad bod and the pleasure of smoking a great cigar. So we created this special expression and packed it in tins that own the soft-in-the-middle physique with pride. Dad Bod is about showing our support for the salt-of-the-earth Punch smokers who continue to make Punch their go-to brand.”
Handcrafted at HATSA in Honduras, Punch Dad Bod is a six-country blend made with a Cameroon wrapper, a USA Connecticut broadleaf binder and a blend of filler tobaccos that includes Nicaraguan Condega, Dominican Piloto Cubano, Honduran La Entrada and Brazilian Mata Fina. The result is a smooth-smoking, medium-bodied blend that is at the same time sweet, spicy and leathery.
Punch Dad Bod cigars sport a tie-shaped band and are available in a “Champion” size that gives a nod to the reverence Punch has for Dads and Dad bods. Shipping to retailers on May 1, the set contains four metal stash cans, each holding five cigars for a total of 20 Punch Dad Bods per set.
Punch Dad Bod (4.5” x 60); SRP per cigar $6.99

Blog post of review: https://tinytimblog.blogspot.com/2023/05/fosforo-connecticut-5-34-x-46-corona.html
(Description taken from Halfwheel.com website)
Last year, Jeff Mouttet of Riverside Cigar Shop of Jeffersonville, Ind. launched Fosforo, a new line of cigars made at Garmendia Cigars Co. Now, there’s a second Fosforo blend on the horizon.
The Fosforo Connecticut will debut in a single 5 3/4 x 46 corona gorda vitola later this month. It uses an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and fillers from Nicaragua. This particular cigar serves two purposes; it is the first release in the company’s new Fosforo Limitada line, which will contain limited edition releases, and the first size of the Fosforo Connecticut line, which the company plans on making a regular production line later this year.
For this release, just 2,400 cigars have been produced. Each cigar has an MSRP of $9.95 per cigar.
“The Fosforo started as another store blends for Riverside,” said Mouttet in a press release. “My original intent was to introduce my clientele to new and upcoming factories in Esteli, where I spend much of my time. With help from Colin Ganley, we found Garmendia Cigars, run by Jose Palacios, and created the first Fosforo blend. Soon afterward, I attended a retailer event at RoMa Craft Tobac and passed out our Fosforos, and surprise, over half the retailers came back to me asking to carry Fosforo!”
Popsiech, Inc. distributes Fosforo.

Blog post of review: https://tinytimblog.blogspot.com/2023/05/macanudo-inspirado-tercio-aged-toro-6-x.html
(Description provided by General Cigar)
Macanudo Inspirado employs the time-honored tradition of tercio aging in its soon-to-be-released, limited edition expression called Macanudo Inspirado Tercio Aged.
The blend speaks to refinement and complexity, derived from the old-world technique of tercio aging. For this special release, the laborious and time-consuming process of tercio aging envelopes the cigar’s Dominican Piloto Cubano leaves in handmade bales made of royal palm bark that age the tobacco in a unique environment for six months. The tercios round out the tobacco in a way that is not attainable through other methods, delivering deep nuances and heightened aroma.
The four-country blend is wrapped in a Mexican San Andreas leaf which crowns the Indonesian binder and Colombian and Dominican filler. The result is an intriguing medium-bodied smoke with rich, earthy notes, a smooth, white pepper finish and alluring aroma.
Macanudo Inspirado Tercio Aged is handcrafted at General Cigar Dominicana in Santiago and will ship to retailers during the first week of April. The blend will be available in two sizes and just 3,400 boxes will be released in the U.S.
A QR code will appear on the cigar bands and the box and links to a video that brings the tercio-aging process to life.

(Description provided by JC Newman Cigar Co.)
J.C. Newman Cigar Co. introduced Angel Cuesta cigars at the Tobacconist Association of America earlier this year. First rolled a century ago, this historic cigar brand is named for Angel LaMadrid Cuesta, one of the founders of the storied Cuesta-Rey cigar brand. These cigars were the official cigar of King Alfonso XIII, who ruled Spain from 1886 to 1931.
Angel Cuesta cigars are handmade in The American Room at J.C. Newman’s iconic El Reloj cigar factory in the Cigar City of Tampa, Florida. They feature a beautiful Ecuador Havana Rosado wrapper with a blend of aged binder and filler tobaccos from three continents and a pigtail cap. They are rolled in three sizes and packed in cabinets of 20 cigars:
Angel Cuesta Doble Robusto – 5.5” x 56 with a suggested retail price of $18
Angel Cuesta Doble Toro – 6.25” x 52 with a suggested retail price of $19 REVIEWED TODAY
Angel Cuesta Salomones – 7.25” x 57 with a suggested retail price of $22
A team of two rollers with decades of experience roll a total of 150 Angel Cuesta cigars per day. Because of this, Angel Cuesta cigars are very limited. J.C. Newman released Angel Cuesta to 25 TAA members and expects to release these special cigars to additional premium cigar retailers across the United States twice a year. They are also available to those visiting J.C. Newman’s Factory Store at its El Reloj cigar factory in Tampa.

Blog post of review: https://tinytimblog.blogspot.com/2023/05/fosforo-toro-6-x-50.html
(Description taken from Halfwheel.com website)
In October, 2022 Riverside Cigar Shop of Jeffersonville, Ind. launched its own cigar brand called Fosforo. Now that line will be heading to stores nationwide thanks to a new distribution deal with Pospiech Inc.
While the owners of both Riverside and Pospiech are known for their close relationships with RoMa Craft Toac, Fosforo is actually made at Garmendia Cigars Co., the same factory behind Rick Rodriguez’s West Tampa Tobacco Co. blends. Jose Palacios of Garmendia and Jeff Mouttet, owner of Riverside, developed the blend which uses an Ecuadorian habano oscuro wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan fillers from Condega and Jalapa.
It is currently offered in four sizes:
Fosforo Corona (5 x 46) — $8 (Bundle of 10, $80)
Fosforo Robusto (5 x 52) — $8 (Bundle of 10, $80)
Fosforo Toro (6 x 50) — $9 (Bundle of 10, $90) REVIEWED TODAY
Fosforo Gordo (5 x 56) — $10 (Bundle of 10, $100)
“Jeff has been (a) dear friend of mine for over 10 years,” said Mike Szczepankiewicz, owner of Pospiech Inc., in a press release. “We are excited to start this partnership together. Jeff has been working on some fantastic blends while staying in Nicaragua. Having a finger on the pulse in the factory you are working with is an integral part of making a great cigar. This partnership will give Jeff the ability to fully focus on creating fantastic cigars and have his mind put at ease with all the other aspects of sales and customer service. I’ve always believed that’s it’s important for retailers to work together and play to each others strong suits, that way we can all be successful. We are looking forward to working with Jeff in all his other endeavors as he continues to grow and build on the manufacturing side of the industry”

Blog post of review: https://tinytimblog.blogspot.com/2023/05/shady-moose-toro-6-x-52.html
(Description provided by Forged Cigar Company)
Chillin’ Moose and its beefy sidekick Bull Moose will soon welcome a Connecticut “cousin” called Shady Moose, a new line of cigars made with an Ecuadorian Connecticut shade wrapper, a first for the Chillin’ Moose franchise.
Shipping to retailers on March 1, Shady Moose will launch as a full-time line with three new sizes, including the first Toro for the growing Chillin’ Moose trio.
Handcrafted in Honduras at the HATSA factory, Shady Moose is a six-country blend wrapped in Ecuadorian Connecticut, with a Mexican binder and a selection of long filler tobacco from the US, Colombia, the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua.
The mellow-to-medium-bodied blend is stout-hearted, with slightly spicy white pepper notes balanced by hints of earth, wood and cream.
“With Shady Moose, we built a great, anytime, anywhere blend that takes the smooth-smoking properties of a Connecticut Shade cigar and amps it up with the right amount of complexity and spice. And we didn’t stop there. We added in the cool Moose imagery and locked in an unbelievable price point. Now we’re waiting for Shady Moose to take a run at the internet, just like Bull Moose did last year. We’re ready for it. The question is…are you?” said John Hakim, brand manager of Chillin’ Moose.
Shady Moose cigars will be distributed by Forged Cigar Company.
The cigars will be packed in boxes containing 20 cigars.
Shady Moose Robusto (5.5” x 50); SRP per cigar $4.79
Shady Moose Toro (6” x 52); SRP per cigar $4.99 REVIEWED TODAY
Shady Moose Gigante (6” x 60); SRP per cigar $5.49

Blog post of review: https://tinytimblog.blogspot.com/2023/05/dissident-home-2023-6-x-52-box-pressed.html
(Description provided by Dissident Cigars)
DISSIDENT Cigars announces the return of HOME, a yearly Limited Edition Cigar that was put on a temporary hold when the Coburn’s acquired DISSIDENT Cigars in December of 2021.
The DISSIDENT HOME 2023 marks the 4th release of the HOME since 2019. Keeping with tradition, the HOME 2023 consists of an Ecuadorian Maduro & Corojo barber-pole wrapper, Ecuadorian binder, and all-Nicaraguan fillers. Like years preceding, the HOME 2023 will be available in a 6x52 box-pressed Toro.
MSRP: $14.00
Owner/blender Cynn Coburn says “With thanks to the previous brand owner, the HOME has always been a highly anticipated release for DISSIDENT fans since 2019, and I’m excited to bring this beloved cigar back after a year hiatus! It’s a tradition that needs to continue. We made minor changes to the box artwork and big changes to the label artwork that we are truly stoked about! If you feel like you don’t belong, it means you belong with us. Welcome HOME!”

Blog post of review: https://tinytimblog.blogspot.com/2023/04/tatuaje-lomo-de-cerdo-5-18-x-52-robusto.html
(Description taken from Halfwheel.com website)
Lomo de Cerdo, one of Tatuaje’s most talked about new cigars from the 2022 PCA Convention & Trade Show is set to begin shipping to stores on Monday.
The cigar gives a new spin to one of Tatuaje’s most sought-after limited editions, as it based on the Pork Tenderloin, which came out in 2010, but this new cigars uses a Mexican San Andrés wrapper instead of the Connecticut broadleaf wrapper found on the original cigar. As such, the Lomo de Cerdo—which is Spanish for pork loin—wears a band that says Tuxtla as a nod to the city where the vast majority of Mexican San Andrés tobacco is grown. It is a band that has been used on the three other cigars in Tatuaje’s Tuxtla Series, which debuted in June 2022 and includes the Avion ’13 Tuxtla, Tatuaje 7th Tuxtla and Tatuaje T110 Tuxtla.
Like the original Pork Tenderloin, the Lomo de Cerdo uses Nicaraguan tobacco for the binders and fillers. Also like the Pork Tenderloin, the Lomo de Cerdo is notable for its packaging, as the cigars come in 25-count bundles wrapped in butcher paper designed to look like what would be handed across the counter at the butcher shop.
The Tatuaje Lomo de Cerdo, a 5 1/8 x 52 robusto, is priced at $12 per cigar and $300 for a bundle of 25 cigars. They are produced by My Father Cigars S.A. at its factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. Pete Johnson said that production ended up being just north of 8,000 bundles of cigars, as when the cigar was announced, production wasn’t known as it would be determined by how many cigars were ordered.

Blog post of review: https://tinytimblog.blogspot.com/2023/04/rojas-breakfast-tacos-mexican-san.html
(Description taken from Halfwheel.com website)
At the Total Product Expo (TPE) in February, the company debuted an extension to its popular Street Tacos line called Breakfast Tacos. It’s a trio of cigars that come in a 4 1/2 x 46 petit salomone vitola, a size that Noel Rojas told halfwheel gives the company the 30-minute cigar that was missing from its portfolio.
Breakfast Tacos will be offered in three wrapper options, an Ecuadorian Sumatra, a Mexican San Andrés, and an Ecuadorian Connecticut, each with a Nicaraguan binder and filler. Rojas said that it is a different blend than the existing Street Tacos options, and all of the tobacco for the project is grown and fermented by Rojas Cigars. The cigars are made at Rojas’ factory in Estelí, Nicaragua.
The Breakfast Tacos line will use the same basic artwork design as the Street Tacos line, but will change the words and colors on the band. Each size will be offered in bundles of 30 cigars, with display trays available to retailers. Regardless of the blend, each Breakfast Taco cigar will have an MSRP of $6.
Today we look at the Mexican San Andrés.
