This week, Francis teaches me all about the Roman Empire. We talk about Julius Caesar, The Punic Wars, a bunch of different emperors, and far too much talk about The Trojan Horse.
This is our 17th lesson and probably my favorite to date. You can watch all of the lessons here:

On our fifth episode of attempting to find the best bachelor party destinations, Eddie and I took Tommy Smokes down to the Lake Of The Ozarks for some good old fashioned fun. I'm still not sure if the Ozarks are the South or the Midwest, but the people couldn't have been nicer. It's certainly in contention to be a winner in this coveted competition.
We started the trip off by hitting a couple of local restaurants to get some steaks with the fellas. We had heard a lot of great things from locals about Shady Gators, so that was our immediate next stop. Place was awesome. Not ready to say it's better than Flora Bama but it certainly packs a mean punch.
We then played some golf at arguably the hilliest golf course I've ever been to and we got our magic moment for the vlog. Tommy Smokes just has a certain aura about him that allows for him to have crazy moments, and he did not let us down. The man holed out from about 60 yards after whiffing on a couple shots just minutes earlier. You can't make it up. Smokes is an Aura Factory. We grabbed some pizza in town and then hit the strip for some Ozarks magic.
Saturday the weather started to clear up and we had the time of our lives. Started by going to a spot called Coconuts, which was all the rave from the townies. I'm an absolute slut for a swim up bar so this was perfect for us. We ended our day by taking a little boat ride on the lake and rounded things out by heading back to Shady Gators for the nightcap. Onto our final stop: Tampa Bay!

FINDING THE PERFECT BACHELOR PARTY DESTINATION | MYRTLE BEACH, SC
This video is presented by Pirate Water. Pirate Water is a 10% ABV malt beverage that's perfect for any pregame, party, tailgate and everything in between. Go to www.drinkpiratewater.com to see where to get some for yourself today.
On the most recent installment of Eddie and myself traveling the south to find the best bachelor party spots, we took a little trip down to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. I've been to the ole MB before and I knew we had to do something anyone on their bachelor party would do: go mini golfing. The boys went to the course where they play the Mini Golf Masters and things got off to a rocky start. We had some tough weather to overcome and day one was pretty much a wash.
Day 2 started off with a little real golf, but Eddie and I couldn't stop thinking about the rainout session we had at Hawaiian Rumble. We had the itch to return to the Masters course so we cut our real golf round early to get back to the Rumble. Place was just an absolute delight.
We then went to the famous Pelican Ballpark, home of Kenny Powers in East Bound & Down. Now this is where things really started to heat up. I made arguably the greatest play of my athletic career by snagging a left hand foul ball off the ricochet while sitting down. Watch for yourself, it was a "where were you" moment. We then went to the main event: Myrtle Beach Bike Week. When I tell you I have never witnessed something like this, please believe me. It was an absolute scene filled with scary looking bikers (who were actually extremely nice). We filled up on Pirate Waters and went out to do some man on the street. We then woke up and took our talents to Charleston the next morning. Be on the lookout for that episode next week.

FINDING THE PERFECT BACHELOR PARTY DESTINATION | PENSACOLA, FL & THE FLORA BAMA MULLET TOSS
This video is presented by Pirate Water. Pirate Water is a 10% ABV malt beverage that's perfect for any pregame, party, tailgate and everything in between. Go to www.drinkpiratewater.com to see where to get some for yourself today.
On the second installment of Eddie and I traveling the south to find the perfect bachelor party destinations, we took our talents to Pensacola, Florida but more specifically Orange Beach, Alabama. If that sounds confusing that's because it is. As an out of towner, I had no idea where I was all weekend. The website for the Flora Bama Mullet Toss said we were going to Pensacola, but when we got to the event it was right on the Florida Alabama line in Orange Beach. Who knew Florida and Alabama touched? Certainly not me.
We brought along the one and only Nicky Smokes to come enjoy his home state with us. I've long been a fan of Nicky since we hit a Cubs game together last summer, so I knew he'd be a good fit for one of these videos. Right off the bat he got us into some flat earth talk followed by bringing us to Publix to try a pubsub. He fucking nailed the order with the multigrain bread. As a semi-fat guy, I would have never chosen multigrain as the bread of choice, but I trusted Nicky and he was right. That crunch just made the pubsub even better. I was actually in Georgia this past weekend and got another pubsub, but this time I tried it on white bread. It was still fantastic but not as good as the multigrain, so shoutout to Nicky for his Publix knowledge.
From what I had heard about the Flora Bama Mullet Toss, people have mullets and throw mullets. Wasn't exactly sure what that meant, but apparently a mullet is a fish. Who knew! The people down there were hilarious and having a great time. They made for some funny ass interviews and then we went to one of the coolest bars I've ever been to called Flora Bama. It's right on the state lines and I think it's actually like seven bars all combined into one huge bar. Pensacola (Orange Beach?) was a blast but not as fun as Austin. I can definitely see this being a fun spot to party at for a weekend, but I probably wouldn't have my bachelor party there. Thanks to all the people at the Flora Bama Mullet Toss who showed us a great time. Onto Myrtle Beach!

FINDING THE PERFECT BACHELOR PARTY DESTINATION | AUSTIN, TX
This video is presented by Pirate Water. Pirate Water is a 10% ABV malt beverage that's perfect for any pregame, party, tailgate and everything in between. Go to www.drinkpiratewater.com to see where to get some for yourself today.
When a couple people in our lovely sales department asked me if we could do a video series where I traveled around to find the best bachelor party spots while drinking Pirate Water, I felt like I was dreaming. However, it was indeed real life and I wanted to pick the perfect person to accompany me on these six stops (Austin, Pensacola, Myrtle Beach, Tampa Bay, Lake of the Ozarks, and Charleston). It was a no brainer that it had to be Eddie from Chicago. This guy will be able to find each and every intangible that's extremely important when it comes to finding the best bachelor party destinations in the South.
Our first stop is Austin, Texas, and we brought along our burger lovin' friend Glenny Balls. Glenny was awesome for this trip because not only does the man love barbecue more than anyone I've ever met, he also knows Shane Gillis and got us to the green room. So thank you for that Balls.
What everybody has told me about Austin is that you have to try the barbecue and you have to check out a comedy show. We were able to do both in one day and it made for a beautiful weekend. We then went out to Lake Austin to catch some rays and drink some P Dub. Next stop: The Flora Bama Mullet Toss in Pensacola!
