Prickly Pear Margarita
2 oz. (60 ml.) 818 Blanco Tequila
1 oz. (30 ml.) Fresh lime juice
.75 oz. (22.5 ml.) Agave syrup (50:50)
.25 oz. (7.5 ml.) Liquid Alchemist Prickly Pear
1 oz. (30ml) Aquafaba (Optional)
Instructions: Add all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker and shake for roughly 10 seconds. Strain into a previously-chilled cocktail coupe.
If you are using the aquafaba then garnish by floating a fresh herb and edible flower, if not a fresh lime wheel will be lovely.

An Introduction To Limoncello | Master Your Glass
On this episode of MYG I dive into Limoncello’s history, production and I taste 6 different types of “Limoncelli”.

Limoncello originates from the beginning of the 1900s, in a small boarding house on the island of Capri, where the lady Maria Antonia Farace made this liqueur from the lemons in her orchard.
In 1988 her grandson Massimo Canale registered the first Trademark for “Limoncello”. This liqueur in an Italian staple and now there are thousands of Limoncello brands across the world.
Pallini Limoncello is produced in Italy by Pallini S.p.A. a family-owned and operated beverage company based in Rome, Italy. It is 26% alcohol by volume.
Caravella Limoncello is made by the Sperone brothers supposedly using a family recipe dating back to 1898. It is 28% alcohol by volume.
Villa Massa Limoncello was founded in 1991, by Sergio and Stefano Massa. Villa Massa traces its roots back to 1890, which is the year in which the family began to produce and sell its artisanal Sorrento Limoncello. It is 30% alcohol by volume.
Toschi Lemoncello is made naturally by steeping natural Sicilian lemon peel in alcohol, without added preservatives or coloring. It is 28% alcohol by volume.
Luxardo Limoncello is a natural and artisanal product that according to the company is made with a family recipe first advertised in 1905. It is 27% alcohol by volume.
Gioia Luisa Limoncello Cream is basically a Limoncello made with Amalfi lemons but with the addition of cream in the bottle. It is 17% alcohol by volume.

Strawberry Mule
2 Medium-sized Strawberries (Halved)
.5 oz. (15ml) Lime juice
2 oz. (60 ml) Drake’s Organic Vodka
Top with Ginger Beer
Instructions: In a chilled Julep cup (or Rocks Glass) add the strawberries and the lime juice and gently muddle.
Add crushed ice and the Drake’s Vodka, top with Ginger Beer and stir to mix. As you stir the level of your ice will drop so top with more ice.
Garnish with a small rosemary sprig, lime wedge, and a strawberry.
Light Bloody Mary
2 oz. (60ml) Drake’s Organic Vodka
4 oz. (120ml) Fresh-pressed tomato juice
.25 oz. (7.5ml) Lemon juice
Instructions: Add ice to a Highball glass. Add the Drake’s Vodka, add the lemon juice and top with Fresh tomato juice. Stir and serve.
Garnish with a small dill sprig, half lemon slice, and a small tomato.

Top with Soda
Instructions: Add mint, lime juice, and erythritol syrup and muddle. Add crushed ice, the Drake’s White rum, and top with soda water. As you stir the level of your ice will drop so top with more ice.
Garnish with a large mint top.
Spiced Rum & Cola
2 oz. (60ml) Drake’s Spiced Rum
4 oz. (120ml) High quality Cola

Instructions: In a chilled Julep (or Rocks Glass) add the mint and the simple syrup and gently muddle, this will extract the aroma of the mint.
Add crushed ice and the Bourbon and stir to mix. As you stir the level of your ice will drop so top with more ice and with the use of a bar spoon make room in the ice to fit in the mint tops. Garnish with a mint bunch (4 mint tops), add a straw right next to mint and enjoy!

The Sazerac
1 Barspoon of Sugar
1 Barspoon of Water
5 Dashes Peychaud bitters
3 oz. (90ml) Rittenhouse rye
Instructions:
Take rocks glass, add ice to it and spin the ice to thoroughly chill the glass.
Next, add the ingredients above into a beaker and stir for 20 seconds. Dump the ice out of your rocks glass and pour a dash of absinthe in it.
Swirl the absinthe into that chilled glass and then pour it out.
Strain the contents of your beaker into the chilled and absinthe rinsed rocks glass.
Garnish with the oils of a lemon swath and optionally drop the lemon swath in the glass.

.75 oz. (22.5 ml.) Fresh lime juice
Instructions: Rim half of a rocks glass with salt and add to ice it. Add all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker and shake for roughly 10 seconds. Strain into the rocks glass over ice.
Garnish with a lime wheel or wedge.
El Diablo
1.5 oz. (45 ml.) Reposado Tequila
.5 oz. (15 ml.) Crème de Cassis
.5 oz. (15 ml.) Fresh lime juice
Top with a premium Ginger beer
Instructions: Add ice into a Highball glass. Add the ingredients in the order above and stir to mix them together with a bar spoon.
Garnish with lime wheel or wedge.
Paloma
2 oz. (60 ml.) Blanco Tequila
.5 oz. (15 ml.) Fresh lime juice
Top with Squirt or another Grapefruit Soda
Instructions: Rim half of a highball glass with salt and add to ice it. Add the ingredients in the order above and stir to mix them together with a bar spoon.
Garnish with a grapefruit slice or wedge
Note: Another way to make this drink is by pouring in the glass over ice:
2 oz. (60 ml.) Blanco Tequila; .5 oz. (15 ml.); Fresh lime juice; 2 oz. (60 ml.) Fresh grapefruit juice; 2 oz. (60 ml.) Soda water
Tequila Sunrise
2 oz. (60 ml.) Blanco Tequila
Fill almost to the top with Orange juice
.5 oz. (15 ml.) Grenadine
Instructions: Add ice into a Highball glass. Add the ingredients in the order above and stir to mix them together with a bar spoon.
Garnish with half orange wheel or wedge.

Guaro is a clear 30% alcohol liquor made from sugar cane. Before it was legally manufactured and sold, Guaro was made at homemade distilleries and was Costa Rica's version of moonshine. Cacique is the brand of Guaro I drank, and it comes in 2 styles: the traditional red label at 30% and the black label – known as superior at 35%.

1 oz. (30 ml.) of lime juice

1 dash of Lizano Tabasco
Add all the ingredients above into a shaker. Shake and strain into a shot glass.

BIGGER THAN SNOOP DOGG'S GIN & JUICE (WORLD RECORD) | Master Your Glass
On this episode of MYG I show a time lapse of how I coordinated the winning of the Guinness Book of World record for the world’s largest Gin & Tonic. (Sorry to have beaten your previous record @snoopdogg. Music is your thing and cocktails are mine!)
On November 5th , 2018 the United States Bartenders’ Guild’s (USBG) Las Vegas Chapter broke Guinness World Records for the largest gin and tonic to benefit Keep Memory Alive at Apex Social Club at the Palms Casino Resort.
The 300-gallon vessel sat on the patio of the venue with beautiful views of the Las Vegas Strip as attendees poured a bottle of Empress gin into the vessel and became part of the record themselves.
The world’s largest G&T was mixed in a 300-gallon acrylic glass, required more than 400 bottles of gin, 165 gallons of tonic water and approximately 5.5 gallons of lime juice.
The event kicked-off Keep Memory Alive’s Month of Memories initiative in appreciation for Alzheimer’s Awareness Month. All proceeds generated from the event were donated to Keep Memory Alive, which supports Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health.
The funds helped to continue to support clinical research and programs as well as free caregiver resources at the center.
Alzheimers is a devastating disease and the only top 10 cause of death in the United States that cannot be prevented, cured or even slowed.
An estimated 5.7 million Americans of all ages are already living with Alzheimers dementia in 2018 and today, someone in the United States develops Alzheimer’s every 65 seconds.
The Best Food and Drink in Every State
“We are so excited to be part of breaking a Guinness World Records title which in turn benefited an amazing cause for our community,” said Raul Faria, President of the Las Vegas Chapter of the United States Bartender’s Guild, which organized the making of the record-breaking beverage. “As a group of some of the most well-respected bartenders in the industry here in Vegas, it was only natural we would break this title.”
To give the drink its striking blue look, Empress 1908 gin, known for its indigo color, was selected, along with Fever-Tree Aromatic Tonic water and approximately 5.5 gallons of lime juice. It was created on the rooftop patio of the Apex Social Club inside the Palms Casino Resort.
The event raised more than $10,000 for the nonprofit group Keep Memory Alive, which works to find a cure for memory disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease. The record-breaking drink kicked off the nonprofit’s November initiative, Month of Memories, in support of National Alzheimer’s Awareness Month. Guests who donated $50 to the nonprofit were allowed to become part of the world record by pouring a bottle of gin into the drink.
When all the pouring was done, the drink was garnished with a giant lime wedge made of ice, and the drink was served to guests.
The gigantic G&T wasn’t the only gin-based record-breaker of 2018. Back in May, rapper Snoop Dogg helped mix the world’s largest gin and juice, inspired by his 1993 hit song, “Gin and Juice.”
That drink featured 180 bottles of Hendricks gin, 154 bottles of apricot brandy, and 38 jugs of orange juice

Dark Chocolate & Sea Salt Old Fashioned
2 Dashes of Fee Bros Aztec Chocolate Bitters
1 Sugar Cube
Splash of Soda
1.5 oz (45ml.) Bourbon
1.5 oz (45ml.) OM Dark Chocolate & Sea Salt liqueur
Method:
In a rocks glass muddle the sugar cube with the bitters and a splash of soda to create a paste with no lumps.
Next add the Bourbon followed by the OM Dark Chocolate and Sea Salt.
Mix and add ice.
Garnish: Luxardo Maraschino cherry. If you liked the Dehydrated Pear dusted in whitevchocolate and rose pedals I added, it is available at www.DressTheDrink.com and their products are top notch.
Spiked Chocolate Soda
.5 oz (15ml.) Bourbon
1 oz (30ml.) Dark Crème De Cocoa
4 oz. (120ml.) Cold Milk
Top with Soda Water
Method:
Pour all the ingredients above except for the soda.
Next take a hand frother and place it towards the bottom of the glass.
Start frothing and slowly bring the hand frother up while adding the soda, this will create a foam on the top.
Turn the hand frother off before pulling it out of the drink.
Garnish: This drink does not call for a garnish but feel free to sprinkle anything on the top.
