On day 15 of our 30-Day Chiron Gong Challenge, we focus on sensing a change in your body with the felt sense. The felt sense is a way of knowing that is based on our direct experience of the body. It is a primary mode of awareness that enables us to feel and understand the complex, interconnected systems of our bodies. The felt sense is a powerful tool for health and well-being. It can help us to identify and release tensions in the body, connect with our inner wisdom, and find a deeper understanding of our physical and emotional needs. What is Felt Sense? The felt sense is a way of paying attention that starts inside the body. To experience felt sense, it is important to focus on the body, but not to attach to any particular feeling or sensation. Instead, you make yourself open to the field of bodily sensation, allowing a greater awareness of the inherent intelligence of the body. The felt sense is a place of awareness that can be accessed by bringing mindful attention to the body. From this place of awareness, we can start to notice underlying states, sensations, and emotions that may be occurring unconsciously. This form of embodied awareness allows us to be more deeply in tune with our body's inner wisdom and to make decisions more based on our needs rather than what our mind says we should do. The Sounds of Jupiter and Neptune: Day 20 Of the 30-Day Gong Challenge Why are the sounds of Jupiter and Neptune important? The sounds of Jupiter and Neptune are important because they can give us clues about the planets' atmospheres. By studying the sounds, we can learn about the temperature, pressure, and wind speed on these planets. Additionally, the sounds can tell us about the planet's magnetic fields and the presence of auroras. What are the unique sound frequencies of Jupiter and Neptune? Jupiter and Neptune both have unique sound frequencies that are caused by seismic activity, or the movement of material beneath the surfaces of their thick atmospheres. The sound frequencies travel through their atmospheres and can be picked up by radio antennas on Earth. Jupiter’s sound frequencies are in the range of 13 to 46 millihertz and are mainly caused by convective flow and aurora activity on the gas giant. The frequency of Jupiter’s sound vibrations is much lower than sound on Earth due to its thick atmosphere and lack of surface. Neptune’s sound frequency is much higher than Jupiter, ranging from 20 to 200 kilohertz.
