C-RAM is the US Military's air defense Counter-Rocket, Artillery, Mortar initiative. The U.S. Army announced its counter mortar weapon systems successfully intercepted 100 enemy fired mortar bombs protecting multi-national Corps Iraq assets. The Centurion systems, a ground based version of the 20mm Naval Phalanx point defense weapon was declared initial operational capable in July 2005. It scored its first intercept in March 2006. Now people are beginning to defy their government and are refusing to repay loans on apartments that they purchased that were never completed. Social credit score be damned! One reason this might be happening is fraud or because of bad real estate investments made by the banks. If China’s real estate bubble pops it could hurt the world economy. This video of PLA tanks on the streets looking like they were deployed against their own people was shared over 50 thousand times on twitter and appeared to show the Type-15 tank intimidating people and stopping them from reaching their bank. And it’s true the Type-15 light tank would be perfect for this kind of riot control mission as a quick reaction force for emergency situations. What about NATO’s Article 5 clause if Latvia is attacked then NATO would defend them. We’ll that’s not necessary true according to Radin’s analysis. This kind of covert action would make it difficult for NATO to point to it and say that it was Russian aggression because these troops would claim to be Latvian. Fortunately analysts believe this tactic is less likely to work against Latvia because their economy is doing well, giving less reason to rebel. The economic situation in eastern Ukraine was very bad which made them more vulnerable to this kind of outside covert subversion. In the think tank research paper titled “Russia’s influence and presence in Latvia” Artus Bikovs points out that A lot has been said about Putin’s statement that the collapse of the Soviet empire “the greatest geopolitical catastrophe of the century.” but not much has been said about the second part of Putin's statement where he goes on to say “Tens of millions of our co-citizens and compatriots found themselves outside Russian territory” This is a hint as to why Russia’s foreign policy has been to undermine democracy in Latvia. I think the Kremlin genuinely believes that many of Russia’s people have found themselves essentially trapped outside the country due to no fault of their own and that they rightfully belong under the Russian Federation's protection.

It’s a man portable Anti Tank Guided Missile which was designed specifically to take out NATO’s Main Battle Tanks and for a period of time it made Russia the most technologically advanced anti tank forces in the world. In the 2014 invasion of Crimea the Kornets destroyed hundreds of Ukrainian tanks in its first wide spread use so you can understand why Russia thought they were headed in the right direction with this weapon. But we’ll see things change quickly on the battlefield. On paper the Kornets looks like the weapon you would want to take into combat but as we’ll see those numbers don’t always match up with the practical realities of using it in the heat of combat. Recently the Kornet has seen extensive use by Russian forces in the Ukraine Invasion where they say it out matches both the US Javelin and the British NLAW missile. In this video we’re going to examine whether or not that’s true. Can you blame me for being just a little bit skeptical here? Some sources refer to it as a 2nd generation while others will say it's the third generation. I feel like its more accurate to call it generation 2.5 honestly. I think the reason for this discrepancy is it’s kind of half way between the two since it's not wire guided, it has a newer laser guided ability but it still lacks an automatic lock on homing feature. The Kornet is also known as the AT-14 Springgar according to its NATO designation. Springgar is of course as we all know a reference to a legendary creature from Cornish Fairy lore. I assume the NATO officer who came up with that name wanted to show off their obscure pretentious European fairy knowledge. Someone promote that guy.
