This page 100% depends on the generosity of others to continue the work that is being done here to restore and remaster all existing video sources (we even do new transfers on a lot of stuff and uncirculated stuff these days). The postproduction work takes a lot of time, a lot of specialized equipment and software, eats up a ton of money in overhead, continuously increasing storage demands, and a high-speed fiber connection is on the way.
For full disclosure, if you see commercials on this page, this page is NOT MONETIZED in any way. Any commercial you see is either placed there by copyright owners (which they have every right to do) or by Youtube. We don't want people to have to see commercials any more than they want to see them. On the other hand, we are lucky enough be able to post all of these videos without being crushed off of Youtube from copyright violations. (Which also took a lot of effort to make happen)
With that said, this page would have ceased to exist in December 2020 if it were not for the massive outpouring of people who stepped up and offered to help when i put up the notice that I would no longer be able to maintain this page because of the time and the financial burden. If you are able, consider making a one-time donation or joining the patreon if you find this page to be something of value -- every dollar genuinely helps a ton. We do not want anyone to feel any sense of obligation. We are like everyone else and want to keep the music alive, at the highest quality possible.

- with Ken Babbs rapping at the start*
Notes:
- This is an upgrade, there is one less analogue generation in the transfer
- There were repeated sections which have been removed.
- A couple of small patches of hum have been attenuated.
- I also removed several loud high pitched feedback squeals to save your ears.

Introduction

Mama Tried ~
High Time false start Stage Banter. Technical Difficulties (1)
Dark Star ~ (2)
High Time
Turn On Your Lovelight (3) (missing)
Notes:
The Main Menu is a short clip of Jerry playing backstage with Rosalie Sorrels, in the field behind the main stage, early Friday evening, 8/15/69. It is suggested in comments that I've read that Dave Bromburg is one of the other musicians.
(1) This has been shortend to just over 1 minute so that you are not subjected to 10 minutes of graphics without Jerry playing. The complete audio of this is included as the audio used for the Song Menu
(2) Unfortunately, the bulk of this Dark Star is missing. The first 13 minutes are BHP graphics afterwhich there are 5 black and white clips that make up about 5 minutes of 7 minutes remaining.
(3) Not included as this is an official release as part of the Woodstock 40th Anniversary Box Set that is well worth having.

[Audio] Grateful Dead - University of Illinois - Champaign, IL - December 2, 1981 Hunter's Trix 147
This is the newly released Hunter's Trix vol 147, which is a matrix of a really good SBD and a really good AUD - both transferred by charlie miller, both are also mastered by charlie miller and scott clugston.
My only work on this is creating an imagine slideshow. I tried to stick mostly to early 80's pictures for this one.
We are still working on maintainance and sorting a lot of files right now, something that needs to be done every year. I think we'll have some new videos finished this weekend, but yes, we are kind of slow right now until this is finished.. I"m pretty sure I'll be able to knock a lot of the stuff out this weekend, and we're gonna try to give everyone a marathon of new shows this month .. thanks for the support and the patience !!!
I will try to post a link to this -- both the torrent on losslesslegs and i'll upload to my own google drive for people who do not have the ability to use torrents. Enjoy the show. :)

Notes:
SBD dead air trimmed out.
Minuscule SBD dropout in Mexicali Blues.
There was heavy tape distortion toward the end of Passenger in the more recent SBD source (#145662), so it was patched with the older SBD source (#108842). This also appears to be why the following Never Trust A Woman was mostly patched in the newer transfer by Miller.
Click removed in I Know You Rider.
No EQ to the SBD sources.
AUD missing the tail end of Terrapin Station through the beginning of Space.
SBD missing Stella Blue through the end of the show, and a brief cut in Terrapin Station.

I did nothing here except compile and add the slideshow. The past week or two have been largely spent on back-end stuff like computer maintainence, file organization, and all the other no-fun parts of the work that goes into this page. (Even took a short holiday break!) :)
We will be back this week with the video remasters... Another "December to remember" is coming, with some new twists. I think everyone is going to love what we're working on !!! :D
____________
Thanks to all the people who have and continue to support this channel -- we couldn't have and still can't do it without you, you guys are absolutely amazing. Big news coming soon (don't want my lips to get ahead of the news right now, but we're finally getting close to having the capcity to serve files... just waiting on a fiber line to light up)

Full lineage is below, these are our (incomplete) notes:
Video notes:
1080p 60fps -- progressive (source was 480i
This is a very rough video, but also very rare... hence the "restoration" instead of "remaster" (the sound upgrade makes is totally worth it either way! :D
Adjustments made where there was no video:
For Two Soldiers - 0:00 - 1:51 filled with graphics
For How Sweet It Is - 25:50- 30:35 and 32:03 - 33:02 filled with graphics (most of song not filmed)
Tuning into Gomorrah - 1:03:45 - 1:04:33 filled with graphics
Audo notes: Patched this with the matrix source listed below.

This is not a pristine recording. Caveat emptor. If someone down the line wants to redo the audio or has a better capture from better sources, i'd love to check it out. Find something to enjoy in this humble recording... Its not only a Jerry Band Show, but has the very rare blessing of an acoustic JGB to start it off. Look for Sandy Rothman, David Nelson, David Kemper, and of course the inimitable John Kahn... New guy on fiddle... Then the original JGB with the girls, and Melvin take over.
PS::: Sandy Rothman has approached me for a copy of this... He's just simple po folk(10K/year royalties)these daze, and cribbin' outa Berkeley, California with out even a working tv. He can't upload so he says,... and was hintin' around to see and hear some of his works with JGAB. Jerry Garcia Band (W/ Bruce) [1080p HD Remaster] November 9, 1991 - Hampton, VA [FULL/SOUNDBOARD]
This is our full video and audio remaster of this JGB show with Bruce Hornsby, a little gem.
This is the same VIDEO posted yesterday -- but with different audio.
This is a second copy posted with the actual SBD of the show -- used FLAC 16/44 SBD source for this one. (other version uses a really great FOB)
I will post more notes later (full lineage etc), I have been holding this in purgatory for days and just want to get it played this weeekend. Had some holdups with computer maintainence this week.
Short notes: Another multi-cam effort of this show, thanks to Josh here for putting together alll sources and making the cuts.
All postproduction work on this video and the audio was performed by Josh Davis and Christopher Hazard.
Thank you

Jerry Garcia Band (W/ Bruce) [1080p Remaster] November 9, 1991 Hampton Coliseum - Hampton, VA
This is our full video and audio remaster of this JGB show with Bruce Hornsby, a little gem.
Thank you

Revisiting some old stuff soon :)
This is just a preview, and the end is going to leave you upset... Don't say i didn't warn you :D
I think we're going to revisit this show and try to get the most out of it as we possibly can, give it the full on color correction and level adjustments it's always deserved.
I only did the first ~27 minutes here as I noticed the way I removed the telecine was not just exactly perfect.
but enjoy.. :)
Oh BTW, there will be songs to fill the air tonight :)
