Video notes:
Another one from the nosmo king vault -- thanks again for letting us work directly on these masters and make them shine !
Very nice close-up shots of jerry during Stagger Lee and Row Jimmy.
Camera man moves to more of the front of the stage viewing area for set 2.
Camera used some graphics filter during most of Uncle John’s Band,
The same filter is used at the very end of Morning Dew.
The encore was filmed in black and white.
Willie Green from the Neville Brothers sits in for Matilda and Drums.
Audio source information is below, very much a patchwork and Josh further patched the existing best source to clear up some bad spots!!!
Audo source
It has some audience patches in the SBD. The patches were a little weak sounding, so I added a second audience source on top of just the patches for here comes sunshine, morning dew, and jbg. The additional audience source used was:
Chuck Vasseur FOB Recording:
Neumann KM54 modified tube mics, hand held on t-bar ~ Custom PS ~ TEAC Deck ~ DAT.
John Ammons Transfer:
DAT master ~ Tascam DA20 Mark II DAT ~ Roland SRC-2 sample rate/format converter (from SPDIF to Optical) ~ Mac Mini ~ Audacity 3.0 at 48K ~ Wave 16/48.
Edited & mastered by by Joe Noel
Wave ~ Audacity ~ flac 16/48

(Re)patch fix of shnid 18097
This source was already seamless; however, it's about a quarter tone
high and the AUD patches, although pretty well synched up with the SBD
source, were not pitch adjusted. Since the AUD is all digital and
there's at least one C gen in the SBD, I adujted its pitch down to the
AUD, stretching it to 102.4%. I then redid the patches using the AUD
source from archive (shnid 10385) and crossfaded them with the SBD.

Thanks to Yossarian Hunter for getting the AUD to me.
Notes:
- Beginning of Here Comes Sunshine patched from AUD
- Light Pops in Here Comes Sunshine on the AUD. There was a very loud
one in the right channel at 1:34. I fixed this by cutting out the
right channel and pasting it with the left. There is still a light
pop but it is much better. Also in the AUD at 1:36 was a very loud
clap in the right channel again I cut out the right channel and
replaced it with the left.
- Glitch between 4:37 - 4:38 of Matilda
- Splice in Matilda from 5:08 - 5:25
- splice in Matilda from 9:11 - 9:24
- sound of Matlida seems to degrade after the first splice
- Slight Pop at 3:35 and 3:52 of Drums
- Last 2 minutes of Morning Dew spliced in from AUD starting at 8:50
- Johnny B. Goode was missing on SBD, AUD source

Grateful Dead [1080p HD Restoration] July 29 1994 - Buckeye Lake Music Center - Hebron, OH
This is an audio and video remaster of:
7/29/94 - Grateful Dead
Buckeye Lake Music Center
Hebron, OH
Video notes:
Single camera recording, vast majority is filming the video board.
This was already transferred in 1920x1080 at 29.97 fps (maintained in this upgraded video) and is from the nonsmo king vualt --- thank you for letting us work on all your masters!
Audio notes: Josh @gratefuldavis made a brand new matrix specifiicially for this show out of a FOB along with another recording from the taper community. Obviously this takes some work to get the timing down (sound + distance etc) but also gives a far more rich diversity to the overall sound.
Video source already stated, alll other info on sound sources is below

Grateful Dead [1080p HD Remaster] June 21, 1971 - Chateau d'Herouville - Herouville, France
This was converted back to PAL 50fps , pieced together all of the video and did a lot of work to both the color and black and white versions, scaled to 1080p at 50fps...
Amended with charlie miller's SBD master -- this video does have filler graphics to make songs complete and the point of this project is to make a cohesive show of the existing footage.
Notice we've never used the version with watermarks :)
Saucy sauce!

This is the late show, and it is in full!
The late-night send-off to jerry on the 27th anniversary of his untimely death.
All assets to make this video into what it is now started with kevin tobin's retracked version of this, though the video is obviously from the venue. I am not sure on the transfer as no mention is made. I used the SBD that was already on the pro-shot.

Grateful Dead [1080p HD Remaster] June 23 1992 Star Lake Amphitheater - Burgettstown, PA FULL SHOW
This is an AUDIO and VIDEO remaster of:
Grateful Dead
June 23, 1992
Star Lake Amphitheater
Burgettstown, PA
Some uncirculated goodness :D
Video notes:
This video comes from the "Nonsmo King" vault many of you may have seen on yotuube by now, we were granted acccess to take the original transfers and do post-production work on the video, mostly color corrections and an upscale to 1080p at 60fps.
There is no existing lineage file that I was given with these videos, but I will tack one on at the request of the taper (mentioned above) -- Thank you again for letting us do work on these. I love how they are coming out and the unique perspectives compared to most AUD videos from this time period.
This was already deinterlaced to 59.94 FPS progressive @ 480p by Nonsmo King (or whoever did the transfer. We did a lot of color correction and other work mostly using avisynth scripts.
Audio Notes:
Audio was replaced with the below audio source.
This was originally tracked with an AUD sound source that sounded like it was directly attached to the camera. I do reccomend finding this video on the nonsmo king page to check out some of the FOBS... they are immersive, but obviously we chose to replace it with the FLAC16 soundboard listed below. It is the best known source, and should be enjoyable for everyone :)

The James Young & Clay Brennecke FOB Vault Collection
clayb@fobdfc.com
Lineage: DAT Clone of DAT Master
The James Young & Clay Brennecke FOB Vault - a GEMS Production
May 2008 ... we are in progress with The James Young and Clay Brennecke FOB Vault Transfer Project. We have all the Master DATs and are hard at work transferring, editing and soon to be releasing the shows Clay & James recorded from 1991 through 1994. James and Clay began recording with B&K 4011 microphones and a Sony Pro DAT in the Spring of 1991. Summer 1991 mainly saw recordings from the Front Row Dead Center of the Official Taper Section (OTS). June 28, 1991 was their first FOB Recording. And starting with Fall 1991, all of their recordings were All FOB All The Time! Early they recorded with the B&K 4011 Cardiod Mics in the ORTF pattern into a Modified Sony Pro DAT Deck. In 1993, James traded in the B&K's for the AMS ST-250 Soundfield Mic and recorded in the Blumlein pattern into the modified Sony Pro DAT Deck. We are starting at the beginning and working our way to the end of this vault. Spring 1991 through 1994. We have added artwork for CD's and included an m3u playlist for import into your choice of PC/MAC media player ... and if your player supports FLAC, all you have to do is place the folder where you plan to store the files and import the playlist - tracks, tagged and with art are ready for you. We hope you enjoy their body of recording work. ------- Todd & Jamie - Project GEMS.
If you have questions or comments, Clay would love to hear from you - clayb@fobdfc.com - and of course Jamie (**__**) and I (bluedakota) welcome any input you may have - shnflac@gmail.com - todd@bluedakota.com

Grateful Dead [1080p HD Remaster] September 9 1993 - Richfield Coliseum Richfield, OH [SBD: Miller]
This is an Audio and Video remaster of
Grateful Dead
September 9 1993
Richfield Coliseum
Richfield, OH
Video notes
Source video is the one on Nonsmo King's youtube, but he was nice enough to supply us with the master transfers on these (it is *VERY* rare we use a youtube rip for any video work.. .Prety much only if it's an interview or something similar or if there's *absolutely* no "real" source
This video was already deinterlaced at 59.94 fps by the person who did the transfers. There are some interlacing artifacts i have noticed espescially since scaling upward, but nothing too crazy. It's an art that takes a lot of time to master and the commercial video editors aren't really good at this process (they're getting better, finally)
We did some color correction work, some level editing, minor spatiotemporal denoising, and used a couple other tools to get to 1440x1080 (proper aspect ratio 1080p)
With the audio here we patched one of charlie miller's sbd's on here (of course..)... Some of the audio from the originals is cool, but we're going for big screns and big speakers and quality above all else.
All post-processing in this remaster was performed by Josh Davis and Christopher Hazard

This is a current "work in progress" -- from the Nonsmo King master vault sources. The finished version in 1080p60 will be done in a few days.
This is the current state, i did some manual resscaling to 720p so it would play at 60fps on this preview and expect the 1080p variant to pop way harder with much more detail... but this is good progress
The best part is this is already re-tracked with Charlie Miller's 16-bit FLAC SBD. Everyone thank our one and only @gratefuldavis for taking the time to start re-tracking these new videos with the best sound possible.
Anyways, enjoy the show, I am going to post the full 1080p remaster of this within the next few days. This is just me being excited about some fresh original content :) Over 50 new videos are included with this new source and we're going to be using a lot of them for everythign from single-cam aud shot vids to expanding our in-house multi-cam productions. These are largely frrom 1992-1995, and we will be releasing them at a slow but very steady rate -- I don't like to "burn out" a time period.
Lineage for Charlie's SBD is below!
