These pains are caused by overuse, repetitive over head movements of the shoulder which hinders performance of daily activities. The common causes of shoulder pain are impingement syndrome, frozen shoulder, arthritis, rotator cuff tendon tear, muscle strain etc. These pains are common in athletes, people over 60 years, diabetic patients, people doing manual labor etc.

knee physiotherapy treatment. knee exercises and stretches physiotherapy. These exercises are very effective to reduce knee pain in short period of time as witnessed by my patients. These exercises can be done by people of all age group.
Knee OA is one of the most common reasons for having knee pain. It is common in people with age greater than 45 yrs, people who have had traumatic injury to the knee, manual laborers, athletes who are involved in long running. Along with pain, patients can feel swelling, joint stiffness, difficulty moving the knee or bending the knee, instability in the knee along with impaired balance. These exercises can be done twice a day and can help you to reduce the pain by improving the mobility in the knee, strengthening the muscles of the knee which will eventually put less strain on the knees. Also if the patient has swelling using or applying an ice pack for 10-15 min twice a day will help to reduce the swelling.
Tips-
1. Avoid sitting on lower surfaces such as the floor, using low lying toilets
2. Avoid cross legged sitting
3. Avoid sitting or being in one position greater than 30 min
4. Avoid activities in which excessive bending of the knee is involved.
5. Avoid, kneeling down positions.
These exercises does not require any equipment. These exercises will also help to strengthen the muscles of the knee. These exercises are recommended to be done twice a day.
