1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup mixed berries, fresh or frozen
1/2 cup chopped nuts, such as almonds, walnuts, or pecans

In a small bowl, whisk together the egg yolks and vanilla extract.
Slowly whisk the egg yolk mixture into the hot milk mixture, stirring constantly.
Continue cooking over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and coats the back of a spoon.

Stir in the mixed berries and nuts.
Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and freeze according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Once the ice cream is frozen, scoop it into bowls and enjoy!
Here are some tips for making the best summer fruit and nuts ice cream:
Use fresh or frozen berries. Fresh berries will give the ice cream a more intense flavor, but frozen berries are a great option if you don't have fresh berries on hand.
Use a variety of nuts. Different nuts will give the ice cream different flavors and textures. Try using a mix of almonds, walnuts, and pecans.
Don't overmix the ice cream. Overmixing will make the ice cream icy.
Serve the ice cream immediately after it is made. This will help to keep it from getting too hard.
This recipe is a great way to use up any leftover summer fruit. It is also a fun and easy way to get your kids involved in the kitchen.

Housekeeping Tips and Tricks That Few people know which Really Help
Here are some more housekeeping tips and tricks that few people know, but that can really help:
Use a microfiber cloth to dust. Microfiber cloths are great for dusting because they don't leave behind any lint or residue. They're also reusable, so you can save money on paper towels.
Make your own cleaning solution. You can save money on cleaning products by making your own cleaning solution. Simply mix one part white vinegar with two parts water in a spray bottle. This solution can be used to clean all sorts of surfaces, including windows, mirrors, and countertops.
Clean your oven with baking soda. If your oven is dirty, don't bother with harsh chemicals. Instead, sprinkle baking soda all over the inside of the oven and let it sit for a few hours. Then, wipe it away with a damp cloth. The baking soda will help to lift away grease and grime.
Clean your microwave with vinegar. To clean your microwave, mix equal parts vinegar and water in a microwave-safe bowl. Place the bowl in the microwave and heat it on high for two minutes. Let the steam sit for a few minutes, then wipe down the inside of the microwave with a damp cloth. The vinegar will help to remove any food splatters or grease.
Clean your toilet with baking soda and vinegar. To clean your toilet, sprinkle baking soda all over the bowl and rim. Then, pour vinegar over the baking soda. The baking soda and vinegar will react and create a fizzy foam. Let the foam sit for a few minutes, then scrub the toilet with a toilet brush.
