Ricotta tiramisu recipe without mascarpone cheese is a great light and creamy low calorie option to traditional mascarpone tiramisu. Light tiramisu ricotta cheese option is definitely different in texture, however, as much or maybe even more divine. This recipe is exactly the same as regular tiramisu recipe, the only difference is the type of cheese that is being used. Some recipes do use whipping cream to make the cake light and some use egg whites. If you care about your calories - egg whites are a better option.

High Protein Omelets | Low Calorie High Protein Breakfast Ideas
Breakfast can be low in calories, filling and delicious. Just like this omelet - low in calorie but high in flavor and protein:) Mushroom and spinach are great vegetables to fill it with but in this video I will show you more than one filling for an omelet. Red bell pepper and zucchini are also great veggies to use. Using vegetables is a great way to increase volume of omelet and not adding many calories and the same time.
Ingredients
For 2 egg, and egg white omelet:
- 2 eggs
- 2 oz of egg whites
- 2 slices of swiss cheese - lite
- 1/3 of mushroom-spinach filling (see below)
- 2 g butter for greasing the pan
Mushroom and Spinach filling:
- 250 g crimini mushroom
- 2 cups of spinach
- 150 g leaks
- 2 slices low sodium bacon
- salt and pepper to taste
Red Pepper filling:
- 1 medium red bell pepper (5 oz)
- 1 medium onion (4 oz)
- 1 small zucchini (4 oz)
- 1 jalapeno (optional)
- 2 slices of bacon
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 tsp cumin
- 1/4 tsp sweet paprika

Polish Yeast Cake with Crunchy Crumble | Ciasto drożdżowe | Drozdzowiec z Kruszonka
This is a recipe for polish yeast cake (drozdzowiec - ciasto drożdżowe in Polish) that my grandmother used to make for me very often. I make it with fresh yeast but you can use dry yeast as well. Polish yeast cake is not as sweet as cakes you may be accustomed to, you may even want to call it sweet yeast bread ;) Good news is: you can always adjust sugar amount without suffering consequences as the texture will remain intact in this recipe.
Ingredients
- 450 - 500 g all purpose flour (about 4 cups)
- 50 g (1.8 oz) fresh yeast or 16 g dry active yeast
- one large whole egg and 2 egg yolks (or 2 whole eggs)
- 125 g (1.5 oz) sugar
- 260 g (9 oz) warm milk (I used 2% fat milk)
- 85 g (3 oz or 6 tbs) melted butter
FOR THE CRUMBLE
- 40 g (1.5 oz or 3 tbs) soften butter
- 41 g or 0.5 cup old fashioned oats
- 60 g or 0.5 cup all purpose flour
- 40 g or 1.5 oz of sugar

Roasted beets can be used for salads but when I was growing up we served them as a side dish for a dinner, served either warm or cold. This dinner recipe for roasted beets is served warm. It is sweet and delicious. In Poland we call it 'buraczki zasmażane' and here I would call it ' warm beet salad'.
Ingredients
- 4 medium beets
- 1/2 medium size onion
- 1/2 tbs butter
- 1 tsp squeezed lemon
- salt and pepper
- dash of sugar (if needed)
Bake at 400F for 40-45 minutes to an hour(depending on the size of beets)

Creamy Oatmeal Recipe with Milk #shorts
This is a recipe for a very creamy oatmeal with milk and water. This oatmeal recipe is very versatile as you can use any topping you like and cook it to a consistency that you like. I keep on adding water until it reaches the right thickness.
For extra protein I add 2 tbs of powder peanut butter and I like to top it with greek yogurt. Banana will make the oatmeal sweeter as well as adding dried fruit.

Sweet Blueberry Yeast Buns | Jagodzianki #shorts
These blueberry yeast buns (jagodzianki in polish) are one of my favorite comfort desserts. I love to eat them hot straight out if the oven when the buns is so soft and blueberry filling is oozing from the buns. For full recipe check out this link: https://youtu.be/nhyLvQV0Pw4
Ingredients
- 350 g of All purpose flour
- 4 tbs sugar
- 1 egg
- 20 g of melted butter
- 160 g of room temperature milk (or a bit warmer)
- 7 g of dry yeast
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Blueberries and sugar for filling
I used about 0.70 oz of blueberries per bun and for the buns that I added sugar I used 1/4 tsp of sugar
Mix all ingredients together (if you have a KitchenAid stand up mixer use hook attachment) and knead for about 10 minutes.
Once the dough becomes smooth and elastic and it is not sticky anymore form a ball and cover with clean towel and let it rise for about an hour (depending on yeast and temperature of ingredients it might take longer), wait until dough doubles in size
Roll the dough onto a floured surface and form 10 squares (or you can weigh pieces of the dough and form small balls)
Fill the dough with blueberry filling, add sugar if you are using
After all 10 rolls are formed, cover with a towel again and let it rest for 40-60 minutes
Brush buns with egg wash (using a whole egg or just egg whites)
Preheat oven to 350F and bake buns for 17-18 minutes, they are ready when they browned

Pierogi z KapustÄ… i Grzybami | Dumplings with Sauerkraut and Mushroom | Christmas Eve Dish
In my home we celebrate Christmas with polish traditions and Pierogi z kapustÄ… i grzybami is one of my favorite Christmas recipe. I am the one who is responsible for making them every year. These are dumplings filled with sauerkraut and mushroom filling. They are served with red borscht soup (red beet soup).
Ingredients
For the filling
- 24 oz crimini mushroom
- 2 oz (56g) dried wild mushroom (soaked in boiling water)
- 32 oz (900g) sauerkraut ( I use Belveder brand - tastes the best)
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 3 tbs butter (you can use more if you like)
For the dough
- 510 g of All purpose flour
- 1 cup and 1/4 of hot water
- 1 tbs butter
- pinch of salt

High Protein Oat Pancakes Healthy Recipe #shorts
#shorts This healthy recipe for high protein oat pancakes is super easy and super fast. But most importantly SUPER delicious! No sugar and just egg whites for extra protein. I am sure you will absolutely love this recipe! I served it with some maple syrup and homemade raspberry sauce. You can play with different toppings. You can even add chocolate chips or blueberry to the batter.
I love these pancakes cuz I can eat them every day guilt free and enjoy them even more than any other recipe I have had.

Ingredients
1.5 oz banana
½ cup old fashioned oats (41g)
2 oz non fat Greek yogurt Fage (56g)
3 tbs egg whites (45g)
Pinch of salt
½ tsp baking powder
¼ tsp baking soda
Blend all ingredients (I like Nutribullet because it blends very finely)
Divide the batter in 3 pancakes
Grease pan with a little bit of butter
Add 1/3 batter and fry 2 minutes per side
Serve with your favorite toppings
