The Four Pillars of Wholistic Health, Pt6: Toxins Tolerance

In this episode, Dr. Patricia expands on the fourth pillar of Wholistic Health, the concept of Toxins Tolerance, and discusses the idea of “death by a 1000 cuts”.
The threshold in which people can handle toxins will vary from person to person, and we each have our unique toxins ‘tipping point’. Dr. Patricia starts from the most common forms of toxins to which we are exposed, and progresses to cover the not so well known ones. She also reveals her “superpower” that she has developed and frames ‘reading ingredient lists' in a new light.

In today's society we have a problem with too much sugar in virtually everything we eat, knowingly and unknowingly. In this episode, Dr. Patricia takes a deep dive into the second pillar of Wholistic Health, the Spiritual Stress Response. Seen as a controversial topic at times, the spiritual is often the missing piece for most people. Dr. Patricia firmly plants and explains the importance of the Spiritual as a pillar of whole-body health. Dr. Patricia opens up about her early years and in retrospect realizes how much of a factor stress at a young age affected her health negatively. She also reveals what events and experiences lead her to start questioning the trust she had in the “bias of love” of the Universe. Described as “little cuts to the heart”, watching her patients go through some of the worst moments in their lives tested her belief in the goodness of the Universe (or Divine Feminine, God, Spirit, Mother Nature, whatever you would like to call it!).
Looking back she can now share with you the importance of being grounded in the trust that all that happens is ultimately for your higher good - especially as it is VERY hard to see that as you are going through challenging times in your life.
