George Carlin -- It's Bad for You -- 1080p Remaster
This is just in honor of the late great george carlin whose very wise words still stick with me every day of my life.
This is a personal project, I decided to upload it to share with the world.
I thought no better way to honor him than the only way I know how, by preserving his best performances in amazing detail
Dear HBO if you ever are intent on copyright striking me, please just contact me first and i will give you this video to use for your own purposes. This is about archiving Carlin and you're welcome to my work (this time) :)
Thank you and enjoy

TRT- 34 Minutes
Master 1/2 EIAJ Video Reels- Transferred in 2006 on a EIAJ AV-8650 Deck to VHS- Converted from VHS to digital with VHS-DVD Recorder
VIDEO- 720X480 Resolution MPEG-2 4:3 Ratio 29.97 FPS
AUDIO- AC3 2 Channel- 48Khz- 256kb
This footage came to me through a lot of reels that I bought from a guy about 3 years ago. It has taken me a while to get it converted. I had approached Grateful Dead Productions about trying to get it in future DVD, but that never materialized because they were in the process of closing things down. I had the footage on YouTube, but the Fillmore guys shut it down.
The footage is frustrating at times-- This was not a very stable format, so there are a lot of glitches throughout the footage. It is VERY difficult to get a good transfer from these decks. They are very finicky and often times will not play footage from a different type of deck- ie- a Sony EIAJ machine can have difficulty with a reel that was recorded on Panasonic. Furthermore, not too many people are out there that do the transfer. The person who did this had done transfers for the Dead before on 1/2 inch as well as 2 inch video. He did as good a job as could be done with this footage. Im sure that somebody can synch this with the existing audio out there to provide a better experience.
Please chime in with your thoughts on this show-- I am by NO means an expert on GD, and am guessing from the setlist that this is the 2/14 show at the Fillmore-- Any verification of this would be helpful- as well as any info on the Arthur Lee footage.
I also have about 25 minutes of Paris 1974 footage which is available at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bgwJJgF0BvY. I will post it at some point.
Also-- if you enjoy this-- I ask that you make a donation to Guitars Not Guns, a national charity that brings guitar lessons to disadvantaged children. This footage along with the other things I have unearthed was not cheap. If you love progressive metal in the Bay Area, come see my show www.bayarearockfest.com on May 4th and 5th.

Grateful Dead [1080p Remaster] Summer Solstice - June 21,1989 - [SBD: C. Miller] - Shoreline
FIRST OFF: You can skip 15-minutes into this video if you want to get to the music.
This is an audio and video Repack and Remaster (new video made from combining existing sources, in addition to remastering) of:
Grateful Dead
Summer Solstice
June 21,1989
Shoreline CA
Audio has been patched with charlie miller's 24-bit UltramatrixSBD
this started as a 480i video, i maintained 29.97fps because the tape (if you've seen it before) is pretty good but also still has a lot of "not so good parts". I really like how this one came out in the end.
I do think i'll be able to clean this up better in the future, but this should be a drastic improvement on previous iterations both in visual appeal and in the sound department :)
did a minor contrast and saturation bump. MINOR. :)
