Understanding our own part in how God forgives us is essential to us as Jesus’ disciples because it is also how we are meant to process our emotions – the steps are the same. And Jesus commands us in His Word to process our emotions or else we open the door to the enemy to come into our lives and all areas of our live and oppress us and keep us away from God and His Promises to us!

Even though Jesus already paid for all the sins of humanity on the cross almost two thousand years ago, we have an equally important part in being forgiven by God for our sins. Unless we choose to receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior and keep His Commandments regarding our part in the process of how God forgives us – our sins won’t be forgiven, even though they are already paid for, by Jesus.
