If we study what happened with Joseph and how other people’s sin affects us, we will better understand who God is and why He doesn’t punish us!

Hundreds of years after Adam and Eve, the world was so full of sin, that God decided to flood it, and only Noah and his family were saved. Hundreds of years still, we meet Joseph – one of the twelve sons of Jacob also known as Israel.

In the story of Joseph, the Bible teaches us most clearly how other people’s sin affects us. We already know from the Bible that Jesus is the only human being who never sinned – He is the Perfect, Spotless, Sinless Lam of God who takes away the sins of the world.

But in the story of Joseph, there is no clear and straightforward description of any of Joseph’s sins or of God punishing him for them. Instead, we get to see how the sins of those around him affected him, his attitude towards them and God, and God’s Attitude toward him.

I hope you enjoy this video and find it helpful, and I hope it encourages you to join me in this Bible study that will help us not only understand in depth why God doesn’t punish us, but that will help us internalize who God really is, and help us relate to Him as our Perfect Heavenly Father! Because getting rid of the lies in the church that we ended up believing will help us to not only be able to get closer to God and stay in agreement with Him, but also become successful in all areas of our lives – the Way He intended us to!

God bless you, abundantly!!
