Lord 'no votes' Cameron of Benghazi takes King Charles globalist role, from Foreign Office bathroom
David Cameron: Return puts focus on foreign policy record
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-67406036
David Cameron is not the first former prime minister to take over at the Foreign Office - but he comes to the role with some baggage.
Some of the criticism of his appointment has been political in nature, such as questions about his role in the Greensill lobbying controversy, or objections to the fact he will not have to answer questions in the House of Commons.
It is also fair to say Eurosceptic Tory MPs are not exactly dancing for joy either.
But more pertinently, Lord Cameron's foreign policy record from his time in No 10 is also coming under scrutiny.
After all, he is the man who held the referendum that led to Britain leaving the European Union, and pushed for a "golden era" of closer relations between Britain and China, a policy now long abandoned.
As prime minister, he backed military action in Libya which brought down Muammar Gaddafi - but left a near failed state in its wake.
And in 2013 he called and lost a Commons vote on whether to bomb Syrian forces after they used chemical weapons, a political failure that many believe opened the way for Russia to play a bigger role in the Middle East.
That said, Lord Cameron does bring political heft to the Foreign Office.
He may be the fourth foreign secretary in as many years - and the eighth in total since 2010 when the Tories took power - but Lord Cameron is well known on the international stage.
Lord Cameron has relationships with key leaders that can be leveraged to Britain's gain, and may be seen by allies as a political grown up they can do business with.
Many Foreign Office staff were enthusiastic about his arrival. One senior official told me: "To bring someone of that firepower and experience to head up our diplomacy and development work can only aid the impact we want.
"Most counterparts will be pleased and impressed to see someone of his calibre across the table."
While European leaders will remember Lord Cameron opened the door to Brexit, they also know he campaigned against it, and European nations are increasingly looking to rebuild bridges with the UK.
China hawks will worry about Lord Cameron being too close to Beijing - financially and politically - but the government's policy of "protect, align and engage" with China is pretty settled and laid down in the "integrated review refresh" of UK foreign policy published earlier this year.
Even so, there is much for Lord Cameron's opponents at home and abroad to get their teeth into.
Since leaving Downing Street - and aside from time spent cloistered in his shepherd's hut at home writing his memoirs - Lord Cameron's business activities have been global and controversial.
They include his stint as the vice-chairman of a failed attempt to build a £1bn China-UK investment fund, which raised concerns about his close links with Beijing.
He has also given speeches supporting investment in a new port in Sri Lanka that has been heavily backed by China.
Lord Cameron was photographed taking tea with Lex Greensill in Saudi Arabia on a trip where it was reported they met Mohamed Bin Salman, the country's de facto leader who was shunned by many over human rights concerns.
Amid these various business endeavours, charity work, teaching and lucrative speaking engagements, the former prime minister never found a substantive role after No 10 - until, perhaps, now.
The next question will be whether Lord Cameron will seek to use his undoubted political heft to shift UK foreign policy.

Revealed: the hacking and disinformation team meddling in elections
‘Team Jorge’ unit exposed by undercover investigation

Mastermind Tal Hanan claims covert involvement in 33 presidential elections
https://www.theguardian.com/world/2023/feb/15/revealed-disinformation-team-jorge-claim-meddling-elections-tal-hanan
A team of Israeli contractors who claim to have manipulated more than 30 elections around the world using hacking, sabotage and automated disinformation on social media has been exposed in a new investigation.
https://politicsthisweek.wordpress.com/2023/11/16/not-the-bcfm-politics-show-presented-by-tony-gosling-166/
The unit is run by Tal Hanan, a 50-year-old former Israeli special forces operative who now works privately using the pseudonym “Jorge”, and appears to have been working under the radar in elections in various countries for more than two decades.
He is being unmasked by an international consortium of journalists. Hanan and his unit, which uses the codename “Team Jorge”, have been exposed by undercover footage and documents leaked to the Guardian.
Hanan did not respond to detailed questions about Team Jorge’s activities and methods but said: “I deny any wrongdoing.”
'Team Jorge' unmasked: the secret disinformation team who distort reality – video
The investigation reveals extraordinary details about how disinformation is being weaponised by Team Jorge, which runs a private service offering to covertly meddle in elections without a trace. The group also works for corporate clients.
Hanan told the undercover reporters that his services, which others describe as “black ops”, were available to intelligence agencies, political campaigns and private companies that wanted to secretly manipulate public opinion. He said they had been used across Africa, South and Central America, the US and Europe.

One of Team Jorge’s key services is a sophisticated software package, Advanced Impact Media Solutions, or Aims. It controls a vast army of thousands of fake social media profiles on Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Telegram, Gmail, Instagram and YouTube. Some avatars even have Amazon accounts with credit cards, bitcoin wallets and Airbnb accounts.
The consortium of journalists that investigated Team Jorge includes reporters from 30 outlets including Le Monde, Der Spiegel and El País. The project, part of a wider investigation into the disinformation industry, has been coordinated by Forbidden Stories, a French nonprofit whose mission is to pursue the work of assassinated, threatened or jailed reporters.
Quick Guide
About this investigative series

The undercover footage was filmed by three reporters, who approached Team Jorge posing as prospective clients.
In more than six hours of secretly recorded meetings, Hanan and his team spoke of how they could gather intelligence on rivals, including by using hacking techniques to access Gmail and Telegram accounts. They boasted of planting material in legitimate news outlets, which are then amplified by the Aims bot-management software.
Much of their strategy appeared to revolve around disrupting or sabotaging rival campaigns: the team even claimed to have sent a sex toy delivered via Amazon to the home of a politician, with the aim of giving his wife the false impression he was having an affair.
The methods and techniques described by Team Jorge raise new challenges for big tech platforms, which have for years struggled to prevent nefarious actors spreading falsehoods or breaching the security on their platforms. Evidence of a global private market in disinformation aimed at elections will also ring alarm bells for democracies around the world.
Tal Hanan.

The Team Jorge revelations could cause embarrassment for Israel, which has come under growing diplomatic pressure in recent years over its export of cyber-weaponry that undermines democracy and human rights.
Hanan appears to have run at least some of his disinformation operations through an Israeli company, Demoman International, which is registered on a website run by the Israeli Ministry of Defense to promote defence exports. The Israeli MoD did not respond to requests for comment.
The undercover footage
Given their expertise in subterfuge, it is perhaps surprising that Hanan and his colleagues allowed themselves to be exposed by undercover reporters. Journalists using conventional methods have struggled to shed light on the disinformation industry, which is at pains to avoid detection.

Russian sea-nukes can destroy all US Atlantic/Pacific coast cities & erupt Yellowstone super-volcano

Yellowstone supervolcano warning as 90,000 would 'immediately' die in horror eruption
https://www.express.co.uk/news/science/1831695/yellowstone-supervolcano-eruption-spt
One of the world's largest active volcanic systems, an eruption at Yellowstone would affect not only the US but the whole world.
The last supervolcanic eruption to occur on planet Earth came 27,000 years ago when Stone Age humans were crafting flints and painting caves.
Back then, Taupo, located at the centre of New Zealand's north island, exploded in what was known as the Oruanui eruption.
It covered the island in as much as seven inches of ash, with material thought to have been deposited a staggering 620 miles away.
What makes supervolcanoes different is their magnitude the Volcano Explosivity Index (VEI) which comes in at an eight, meaning at one point in time they erupted more than 1,000 cubic kilometres (240 cubic miles) of material.
The US's Yellowstone caldera is one such supervolcano and has for decades seriously concerned volcanologists who fear that humans won't be able to do anything to prevent the fallout from a future eruption.
Located in Wyoming, Yellowstone National Park is as beautiful as they come, but beneath its surface hides the huge caldera home to a supervolcano.
It has remained dormant for more than 600,000 years, but some scientists fear that the sleeping giant might one day wake.
Pressure beneath the park's surface has mounted for thousands of years and is occasionally released by the various geysers which have popped up from the ground.
In the event of an eruption, heat rising deep beneath the volcano would make its way upwards and melt the molten rock just below the ground surface, creating a mixture of magma, rock, vapour, carbon dioxide and other gases.
A dome will eventually build and cause the ground to rise, and eventually blow its lid, covering neighbouring states Montana and Idaho in volcanic magma and ash.
According to HowStuffWorks, the initial blast would "immediately" kill an astonishing 90,000 people — and that's only the start.
The blast would send three metres of magma across 1,000 miles of land, preventing rescue teams from reaching certain areas and the blast site itself which would lead to loss of life.
Ash sent spiralling into the atmosphere would stop all travel within a few hundred miles radius, similar to what happened when Iceland's Eyjafjallajökull eruption in 2010.
This ash would travel around the world and lead to something known as a 'nuclear winter', with ash and debris blocking out sunlight and forcing temperatures to drop.
The climate would shift with massive amounts of sulphur dioxide being sent into the atmosphere which may form a sulphur aerosol that reflects and absorbs sunlight.
With a temperature drop of up to 10C, crops would fail to grow which would lead to famine in large parts of the world.
While the aftereffects of a Yellowstone eruption would undoubtedly change the way the world works, the United States Geological Survey (USGS) estimates there is around a 0.00014 percent chance each year that the potentially catastrophic volcano could blow.

In one of the defining moments so far of Israel’s ongoing war on Gaza, a deadly explosion at the al-Ahli Arab Hospital on October 17 killed close to 500 people, according to Palestinian health authorities.
Two days later,Israel bombed the Church of Saint Porphyrius, the Gaza Strip’s oldest, killing at least 18 people.
The deadly attacks on the hospital — an Anglican institution — and the church have brought into sharp focus the enclave’s embattled Christian minority, which, like the rest of the Gaza Strip, is under assault from relentless Israeli bombardment.
The Orthodox Patriarchate of Jerusalem described the attack on the church as a “war crime”.

The Christian community was left reeling, yet most have not left the besieged city, which lays claim to a rich seam of Christian heritage going back two millennia.
So who are Gaza’s Christians?
How many Christians live in Gaza and where did they come from?
The number of Christians in Gaza has dwindled in recent years. Today there are only approximately 1,000 left, a sharp drop from the 3,000 registered in 2007, when Hamas assumed complete control over the enclave.
According to Kamel Ayyad, a spokesperson for the Church of Saint Porphyrius, the majority of the population is from Gaza itself. The rest fled here after the creation of the state of Israel, which displaced about 700,000 Palestinians – an event they refer to as the Nakba, or “catastrophe”.
Hamas rule brought an Israel-led land, air and sea blockade, accelerating the flight of Christians from the poverty-stricken enclave. “It’s become very difficult for people to live here,” says Ayyad. “Many of the Christians left for the West Bank, for America, Canada or the Arab world, seeking better education and health.”
While most of Gaza’s Christians belong to the Greek Orthodox faith, smaller numbers worship at the Catholic Holy Family Church and the Gaza Baptist Church. The former recently released a video of parish children praying, the din of bombs in the background.

My Name is Legion: The Control ofRemembrance

Published by Veterans for Peace, 5 November 2015
With its links to the arms trade, increasingly militarised presentation of Remembrance, and growing commercialisation and corporatisation of the poppy “brand”, it’s time to reconsider whether the Royal British Legion is still suitable to be the “national custodian of Remembrance”.
My Name is Legion: The British Legion and the Control of Remembrance explores how the Royal British Legion’s status as the self-appointed “national custodian of Remembrance” has been compromised through its collaboration with some of the world’s most controversial arms dealers, its increasingly militarised presentation of Remembrance, and its commercialised and trivialising corporatisation of the poppy “brand”.
It draws on the work of a number of journalists, campaign groups, veterans, and religious organisations who have expressed concern at the direction the Legion is taking, and asks whether the charity is still fit to be the “national custodian of Remembrance”.
One striking manifestation of the synergy between the British Legion and the British arms trade is its relationship with BAE Systems, who in 2003 not only funded sales of weaponry to Saudi Arabia, Libya, and the Middle East, but also the RBL’s annual Remembrance events. As the Telegraph noted, “a decision by British defence manufacturer BAE Systems to sponsor this year’s Poppy Day has been likened to ‘King Herod sponsoring a special day reserved to prevent child cruelty’”.
The Legion’s £100,000 sponsor and “platinum corporate member” is not only one of the world’s most profitable arms companies (as the world’s third largest arms producer its revenue in 2013 was $26.82 billion) but also one of its most controversial. One of its main markets is Saudi Arabia, which the British Intelligence Unit ranked 163rd out of 167 countries in its “democracy index” – just above North Korea and Syria.
Despite the “King Herod” associations, the Legion has maintained and even strengthened its relations with arms traders. This year (2015), for example, the British Legion’s annual ‘Poppy Rocks Ball’ is being sponsored by Lockheed Martin UK, the subsidiary of the world’s largest arms supplier,
The increasing involvement of the arms trade in the Legion’s activities also coincides with a much more coercive and aggressive ‘in-your-face’ campaigning style that the Legion has adopted in recent years, as many journalists and veterans have noticed.
In 2014, for example, Quaker Peace & Social Witness produced a document that explores how “the involvement of the military in the RBL’s campaign has increased” over the last few years, in line with a rise in the more general promotion of the military, and noted that this involvement marks “a substantial departure from the RBL’s historic message of remembering the horror of war, towards those involved in current war” (The New Tide of Militarism).
A number of veterans also signed a public letter to the Guardian in 2010 complaining that the RBL’s Poppy Appeal was subverting the original intention behind Armistice Day: “A day that should be about peace and remembrance is turned into a month-long drum roll of support for current wars.” Respected war correspondent Robert Fisk has written eloquently about his anger and disillusionment with the “bloody poppy”, and how the symbol of the death of so many men has now “been turned into a fashion appendage”. Channel 4 News presenter Jon Snow has referred to modern “poppy fascism”, to denote the increasingly coercive and militarised presentation of Remembrance these days.
This shift towards a far more commercialised and corporatised approach to Remembrance has developed since 1997, when the Legion formally applied to trademark what they now refer to as their “iconic poppy brand”. The Legion are also taking a new litigious heavy-handed stance towards anyone deemed to be “infringing its trademark”, as its website page makes clear: “The Legion’s 2-petal poppy is a registered trademark and should not be used without permission.”

A house in the West Midlands once owned by one of the plotters associated with the Gunpowder Plot are among the sites to be added in 2023
Historic England has today revealed its annual Heritage at Risk Register, which has seen 159 historic buildings and sites added, and 203 sites removed after being rescued in the past year.
This year’s list marks its 25th publication, having begun in 1998 as the Buildings at Risk Register.
Historic England said since the inception of the list, 6,800 entries have been removed, which equates to around three-quarters of the entries that were on the original Register.
In total, there are 4,871 entries on the Heritage at Risk Register in 2023 – 48 fewer than in 2022.
Of the total additions and removals, more buildings and structures, archaeological sites and conservation areas were removed for positive reasons than were added. But in 2023 more places of worship were added to the list than removed. A total of 53 Places of worship were added to the list while 29 were removed.
Historic England awarded £7.63 million in grants for repairs to 155 sites on the Heritage at Risk Register during the 2022/2023 period.
Sites added in this year’s include Holbeche House in the West Midlands, once owned by one of the plotters associated with the Gunpowder Plot; The Great White Horse Hotel in Suffolk, where throughout history, King George II, Admiral Lord Nelson and The Beatles have stayed. It was also the inspiration for regular guest Charles Dickens’ The Pickwick Papers.
Sites saved and removed this year include the Holmfirth Conservation Area in West Yorkshire which featured in the TV comedy series Last of the Summer Wine; Bourn Mill in Cambridgeshire, one of the oldest windmills in England, and The Royal Military Depot at Weedon in Northamptonshire which supplied weapons and ammunition to the British Army from Napoleonic times through to the First and Second World Wars.

'We've been treated like criminals': Families left desperate and homeless as no-fault evictions soar

A record number of families are being evicted from their homes through no fault of their own.
Victims of Section 21 eviction claims, ITV News Investigations Correspondent Daniel Hewitt spoke to some of vulnerable families being left with nowhere else to go
The number of no-fault evictions taking place in England has risen to its highest level in seven years, as an ITV News investigation finds families being made homeless with nowhere else to go.
Ministry of Justice data shows the number of Section 21 eviction claims - otherwise known as 'no-fault' evictions as the landlord does not have to state a reason - have jumped by 38%.
Between July and September 2023, 8,399 Section 21 eviction claims were taken to court by landlords, compared to 6,092 in the same period last year.
The number of bailiff repossessions also jumped by 29% to2,307, the highest since before the pandemic.

The government has promised to scrap Section 21 evictions since 2019, but Housing Secretary Michael Gove has cast doubt on whether it will happen before the next general election - after promising to reform the court system in England before bringing in a ban.
Increased mortgage rates have seen landlords increase rental prices, or in other cases decide to sell their properties. Landlords also point to changes to the tax system which have made renting out properties less lucrative.
Under reforms to the private rental sector currently going through Parliament, landlords will still be able to evict their tenants if they can prove they wish to sell their property.
The issue for many families is the lack of affordable housing to move to.
An ITV News investigation has seen first-hand the impact on families evicted through Section 21.
In Northampton, Carol, her daughter and two grandchildren have privately rented their home for almost a decade. They have never missed a rent payment and have been good tenants.
They were notified earlier this year that the landlord wanted to sell the property and were given eight weeks to leave. Despite both working, Carol and her daughter couldn't find anywhere affordable to rent, and were told that the local council had no properties for them.
They went to court, but they lost their case. Right now, the law is on the landlords' side.
On the day of their eviction, with the bailiffs waiting outside, Carol told me the family had nowhere to go once they handed back the keys.
'I wake up some mornings and wish I had died in my sleep,' Carol told ITV News Investigations Correspondent Daniel Hewitt that her life cover would help her loved ones escape homelessness
At 10am, the bailiffs walked through the door. They didn’t even knock – the property was theirs to take.
The moment Carol and her daughter walked out - the home they've lived in for nearly a decade with two little boys aged three and five - the locksmiths moved in. It is a swift and brutal process.
An increasing number of Section 21 evictions are ending up in court, driven in part by a chronic shortage of affordable housing – both in the private sector and in social housing.
ITV News has seen evidence of councils advising tenants who receive a Section 21 to not leave after eight weeks – as stated in the eviction notice – and instead go through the court process all the way through to a court-ordered bailiff repossession.

Is Gaza being occupied by the prophesied 'Synagogue of Satan'? Fake Judaism? A Very British Genocide

More than five weeks have passed since Israel’s unprecedented war on Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip started. It has so far claimed the lives of more than 11,100 people, mostly women and children.
Prior to the war, Gaza was already called the largest open-air prison on the Earth given Israel'syears-long siege against it. Now, it’s called a graveyard for children where the Israeli extermination mission rages on to force Palestinians to leave their motherland and find themselves another place to live.
This edition of the Spotlight program is about the incessant Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip. The program will discuss decades of Israel's atrocities against innocent civilians in hospitals, schools, etc.

This may include adverts from us and third parties based on our knowledge of you. More info The mayor of Bristol Marvin Rees has warned that councils could end up providing only social care and children’s services due to prolonged funding cuts. Since 2010 councils in England have received less money from the government while also facing rising demand for services. Bristol City Council faces a funding gap over the next five years of about £32 million, with a worst case of £81 million, according to the latest medium-term financial plan. This looks at how the council will struggle to balance its budget from this year until 2029. The council runs a wide range of services from bins to parks, libraries and housing for homeless people. The funding gap looks at how much money the council is expected to receive from council tax and government grants, compared to how much it needs to spend. Mr Rees said examples like Birmingham City Council, which recently effectively declared bankruptcy, showed that local authorities might eventually only be able to afford to provide social care and children’s services, during a full council meeting on Tuesday, October 31. He said: “We cannot come through 13 years of austerity without it having an impact on people’s lives. We’ve faced a perfect storm of increasing demand, the cost of living crisis and the global pandemic. At the same time we’ve had increasing costs of providing services to meet those demands. “It’s also been difficult to recruit a workforce, as a result of Brexit but also because of the housing crisis, with the unaffordability of life within Bristol. The scale of challenge facing local authorities financially is clearly illustrated by places like Wokingham and Birmingham. Local authorities could end up as places that simply provide adult social care and some children’s services, with no capacity to do anything else.” Green councillor Patrick McAllister added: “We still face a £20 million budget gap next year, rising to nearly £32 million by [2029]. Barring intervention from central government, the day will soon come where Bristol City Council is no longer able to meet its statutory service levels. “The primary cause of this is 13 cruel years of austerity from Westminster, starving public services of funding. This has been worsened by financial mismanagement at Bristol City Council. The human cost is obvious but dig a little deeper and the false economics of austerity are clear.” Tory councillors said they could not vote to approve the medium term financial plan, due to lingering questions about exactly how much money is raised from the Clean Air Zone. This year £5 million of income from drivers will go towards subsidising bus routes. Conservative Cllr Geoff Gollop said: “This situation is far too serious for cheap point-scoring. We know that £5 million of CAZ income is being used to pay this year’s transport levy. But we have no indication of how much income it will raise this year, let alone the next financial year. It seems inappropriate to have an MTFP that doesn’t quantify this income.”

Thousands join campaign to save Bristol cinema from becoming flats
"If the cinema goes, you can't replace it" 14 SEP 2021
https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/whats-on/whats-on-news/thousands-join-campaign-save-bristol-5911015
More than 2,000 people have joined a campaign to save a former cinema in Redfield.
The St George's Hall, a Wetherspoon pub on Church Road, will close down on September 19 — and a developer, Landrose, wants to buy the site with a view to building flats.
Behind the pub area, the building contains a disused art deco cinema, which a group of locals want to be excluded from the housing development and brought back to use. They have started an online petition, Save Redfield Cinema, which has attracted 2,056 signatures in just four days.
Landrose, based in Lawrence Hill, has not ruled a cinema out of its plans and says it has "always looked at retaining retail at the site" — though this is most likely to be a pub, bar or cafe. The retail element would "very much depend on the commercial viability and sustainability of such a venture", says Landrose.
Paul Burke, one of the locals behind the petition, believes using the space as a community centre and cinema would help bring together the area's diverse community.
The 45-year-old, of St George, said: "In this area you have people from all over the world. Film and stories are about a shared experience. It's about commonality and difference. If the cinema goes, you can't replace it."
The cinema opened in 1912 as St George’s Hall Electric Palace, before being extended in 1927, and later renamed the Granada. It closed in 1961 and served as a bingo hall for around 30 years. The foyer section was brought back into use in 1998 as the Wetherspoon pub.
Mr Burke described the cinema area as "largely intact", with a balcony holding at least 130 seats, while an art deco frieze runs across the ceiling. The hole for the projection booth and part of a marble staircase also remain. A cellar and kitchen — both disused — are on the ground floor.
Paul Burke
Paul Burke is one of the campaigners behind Save Redfield Cinema
"You remove the air conditioning and that's half the job," said the film and commercials producer. "The seats are dusty but they work, and they are golden art deco ones."
Mr Burke was talking to a friend about the pub going up for sale in 2019, when the friend's neighbour told him the building had a hidden cinema. Wetherspoon then allowed Mr Burke and some fellow campaigners to look inside last year, a visit which inspired the group to start the petition.
"We are a city of film," he added. "What does it say if you're tearing down old cinemas? You have to go to the north and west sides of the city for most of the cinemas.
"I think it could work as just a cinema space, but there's an opportunity for it to be much more of a community space. We have St George Community Centre already, which is great, but it's limited in space and what it can do.
"It's all dependent on what people want but it could be a space for community groups and for children. Maybe we could open the kitchen again."
Asked about the threat of streaming services to cinemas, Mr Burke said: "We would not just be showing the blockbusters. We could show films from all over the world and represent different communities. There is an opportunity to involve working class people and the really broad section of society that we have on Church Road."
He added there have been some "maybes" from potential investors and "people who have said 'keep us informed". The campaign started a Facebook group a week ago — with 1,600 members already — for locals to discuss their ideas for the cinema.

'Destroy Hamas' US Gen David Petreaus tells IDF chief Aviv Kohavi despite 95% civilian casualties
General Petraeus meeting with Zionists audio file disclosed

Nov. 03 (MNA) – Mehr News Agency has obtained a highly confidential audio file from the meeting of David Petraeus, the retired general of the US Army, with the American and Zionist elites over the Gaza war.
Mehr News Agency has obtained a highly confidential audio file about the Gaza war. In this confidential file, David Petraeus, the retired general of the US Army, presents his suggestions for the victory of the Israeli regime in the war against Gaza in a closed and confidential meeting with the American and Israeli political-military elites.Aviv Kohavi, Former Chief of the General Staff of the Israeli regime, is also present in this secret meeting.
Born on November 7, 1952, David Howell Petraeus is a retired United States Army general and public official. He served as Director of the Central Intelligence Agency from September 6, 2011, until November 2012, when he was forced to resign. In 2001 and 2002, he was one of NATO's senior commanders in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and in 2007, he was in charge of the military forces of the United States and its allies in Iraq. The high-ranking American general was also in charge of commanding the US Army in West Asia, East Africa, and Central Asia before heading the CIA.
Born on 23 April 1964, Aviv Kohavi was the 22nd chief of general staff of the Israeli regime's military forces until 23 January 2023. Kohavi started his military activities as a paratrooperin the Paratroopers Brigade and soon gained administrative and military positions in the Zionist regime until finally he was chosen as the commander of this unit. He also served as the commander of the so-calledGaza Division in the Zionist military, commander of the Northern Command, and the regime's military intelligence director. The Zionist military official played a major role in the suppression of the first and second Intifada, the Zionist regime's aggression against Lebanon in 1982 and 2006, as well as the regime's aggression against the Gaza Strip in 2008, 2011, and 2014.
An overview of the confidential audio file
In this meeting, General Petraeus proposed the failed US strategies in Iraq and Afghanistan as a solution for the people of Gaza.By occupying Afghanistan in 2001, the US promised a better life to the Afghan people but after 20 years, it fled from Afghanistan in total disgrace."Terror", "poverty" and "displacement" are the sinister legacy of 20 years of the US occupation of Afghanistan.
According to Brown University, 2,500 American soldiers and nearly 4,000 American civilian contract workers were killed duringthe 20-year occupation.
Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR) has also announced that in the 20-year US war in Afghanistan, 66,000 Afghan military forces and 48,000 civilians were killed. 75,000 other Afghan civilians were injured in those years. The result of this war has only been the destruction of Afghanistan and its plunge into the endless cycle of terror and instability.
Also in Iraq, the US entered with demagogic promises and has brought this country to a point where it still witnesses terror and insecurity after 20 years. The Opinion Research Business organization says thatonly until 2007, which means 4 years after the start of the war, one million and two hundred thousand Iraqis were killed. The sad thing is that nearly 40% of these dead were women and children.
In this audio file, General Petraeus clearly points to the deliberate killing of Palestinian women and children by the Israeli regime, while trying to justify this crime. He also suggests the strategy of exploding residential buildings, the same strategy that has so far resulted in the martyrdom of nearly 9,000 Palestinian civilians, including 3,500 children. In order to justify the brutal killing of the Palestinian people, the US general also proposed the rebuilding of Gaza by the Zionists to restore the Israeli regime's image. This is the same deceptive strategy that the Americans tried to use to justify the killing of the people of Iraq and Afghanistan, but the result of this strategy has been the instability of the region, the poverty of the countries involved in the American occupation, and the death of millions of innocent people.
In this meeting, Petraeus also admits that the US strategy regarding the occupation of Iraq was stupid, but he proposes the stupid and failed strategy to be used in Gaza....

The head of al-Shifa Hospital in the Gaza Strip says two premature babies have lost their lives after the neonatal intensive care unit at the besieged area’s largest medical facility stopped working due to a lack of electricity amid relentless Israeli bombingcampaign.
Mohammed Abu Salmiya said on Saturday that 37 other babies were at risk of losing their lives as the hospital was running out of fuelin the wake of the ongoing Israeli onslaught on Gaza.
“Unfortunately, we’ve lost two out of 39 babies because of the power outage,” Abu Salmiya said. “We are talking about premature babies who require very intensive care.”
Al-Shifa Hospital’s director underlined that the two babies died because of a lack of fuel, which provides electricity to the incubators allowing for warm temperatures and a constant flow of oxygen to the newborn.
“They died due to low temperatures and a lack of oxygen. We are now using primitive methods to keep them alive,” Abu Salmiya added. “We have electricity until the morning. Once electricity is out, these neonates will die just like the others,” Abu Salmiya warned.
Mohammed Obeid, a surgeon at al-Shifa Hospital, confirmed the newborns’ deaths and said an adult patient also died because there was no electricity for his ventilator.

Steve Lacey - Why Politics is a charade and how the Rothschilds financed the British Empire-Dialect0
Removed from YouTube - No Youtube views the week it was originally uploaded but two comments (one removed) already.....?....!
Like other enterprises with which the Rothschilds have been connected, the Bank of England has been a centre of international intrigue and espionage since its founding in 1694. Although the Rothschilds did not become associated with the Bank until 1812, when Nathan Mayer Rothschild increased his fortune 6500 times by taking advantage of false rumors that somehow swept the London Stock Exchange, purporting that England had lost [to Napoleon] at Waterloo. The Bank of England originated in a revolution, when William III, Prince of Orange, drove King James II from the throne. Since the Bank of England Charter was granted by William in 1694, there has never been another revolt against the Crown. The royal family has been secure because the source of money, crucial to a revolution, has remained under control.
King Charles II had managed to retain a shaky position because of support from the Duke of Buckingham (George Villiers), and others whose first names formed the word "CABAL", introducing a new term for intrigue. His successor, James II, tried to placate the powerful lords of England, but even his longtime supporters, scenting a change of power, began secret negotiations with the Prince of Orange. Wilhelm I, Prince of Orange, had been married several times, to Anne of Saxony, Charlotte de Bourbon, and Princess de Coligny. Today, every ruling house of Europe, as well as those out of power, is a direct descendant of King William, including Queen Juliana of the Netherlands; Margaretha, Queen of Denmark; Olaf V of Norway; Gustaf of Sweden; Constantine of Greece; Prince Rainier of Monaco; and Jean, Grand Duke of Luxembourg, whose son married the daughter of C. Douglas Dillon.
Lord Shrewsbury (Charles Talbot) had been given places by both Charles II and James II; nevertheless, he played a leading role in the revolution. He took 12,000 pounds to Holland to support William in 1688, returned with him, and was made secretary of state. Sidney Godolphin, one of James II's last adherents, joined with the Duke of Sunderland and the Duchess of Portsmouth in correspondence with William prior to his invasion of England, and was appointed head of the treasury by William. Henry Compton, Earl of Northampton, and Bishop of London, had been removed by James II; he signed the invitation to William to come to England; he was reinstated in his see in 1688; his son Francis became Lord Privy Seal.
John Churchill, first Duke of Marlborough, had entered into negotiations with the Prince of Orange in Oct. 1687, and expressed his readiness to support him in Aug. 1688. To allay James II's suspicions, Marlborough then signed a renewed oath of fidelity to him Nov. 10, 1688. On Nov. 24, 1688, he joined the forces of William of Orange.
Although William had married Mary, the daughter of James II, and had a legitimate claim to the throne of England, he could not take power as long as James II was on the throne. Therefore, he entered England with a force of 10,000 foot soldiers and 4000 horse, a small force with which to conquer a great kingdom. With him were Churchill, Bentinck, (the first Earl of Portland), Earl of Shrewsbury, and Lord Polwarth, whose descendant is a prominent member of the Anglo-American banking establishment. James II fled to the court of Louis XIV [in France] and was declared abdicated.
Marlborough, ancestor of Winston Churchill (whose former daughter-in-law, Pam Harriman, is the leading power in the Democratic Party) is described in "The Captain General", by Ivor Brown:
"The Commissioner of Public Accounts found that the Duke of Marlborough had accepted gifts amounting to some 60,000 pounds from Antonio Machado and Sir Solomon de Medina, contractors for bread and wagons for the army abroad, and 2 1/2% of all money allotted for payment of troops, some 175,000 pounds (later revised to 350,000 pounds)."

Israel-Hamas war is deadliest ever for UN aid workers, with at least 88 killed

Call for ceasefire by agency leaders of UN, which said airstrikes on Gaza had caused the most deaths of its aid workers in one conflict
Mon 6 Nov 2023 16.04 GMT
The deaths of scores of aid workers in airstrikes on Gaza over the past month has made the conflict the deadliest ever for UN workers.
At least 88 people who worked for the UN’s agency for Palestinian refugees, UNRWA, have been killed since 7 October. Forty-seven of its buildings have been damaged.
Separately, at least 150 health workers have been killed in Gaza – 16 while on duty – and 18 emergency-service workers for Gaza’s civil defence, according to the UN. More than 100 health facilities have been damaged.
UN agency leaders called on Sunday for an immediate ceasefire and humanitarian access to the territory. They called for both Israel and Hamas to respect international law.
In a joint statement, signatories including the UN human rights commissioner, Volker Turk; Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, head of the World Health Organization; and the UN aid chief, Martin Griffiths, said: “It’s been 30 days. Enough is enough. This must stop now.
“Civilians and the infrastructure they rely on – including hospitals, shelters and schools – must be protected. More aid – food, water, medicine and of course fuel – must enter Gaza safely, swiftly and at the scale needed, and must reach people in need, especially women and children, wherever they are,” they said.
UNRWA held a memorial service last week in the Jordanian capital, Amman, for colleagues killed in the conflict. The agency’s chief, Philippe Lazzarini, described those who had died as “extraordinary people who dedicated their lives to their communities”.
He said: “Thousands of our colleagues, despite the fact that they share the same loss, fear and daily struggle of millions of Gazans, put on their UN vest and go to work. They are our true heroes. They are the face of humanity during its darkest hours. I am deeply grateful to them and to you all.

"Israelis Must Maintain Their Humanity Even When Their Blood Boils"
Michael Sfard, an Israeli human rights lawyer and expert on international human rights, calls for Israel to act within international law in response to Hamas’s attack on civilians Saturday. “My government is waging an attack that seems to be using war crimes to retaliate on war crimes,” says Sfard. “They want revenge, as if a revenge would bring back the dear ones that are gone.” Sfard says Israel should end its bombing and lift the blockade on Gaza because civilians do not deserve punishment for militant attacks. “Modern international law prohibits, with no exception, collective punishment.”

NERMEEN SHAIKH: To talk more about the Israeli assault on Gaza, the siege and Hamas’s shocking attack on Israel, we’re joined by longtime Israeli human rights lawyer Michael Sfard. He’s an expert on international human rights and international laws of war. He represents Palestinian and Israeli activists and human rights organizations. He’s also the author of the book The Wall and the Gate: Israel, Palestine, and the Legal Battle for Human Rights. His new op-ed on Haaretz is titled “Israelis Must Maintain Their Humanity Even When Their Blood Boils.” Michael Sfard joins us in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Thank you so much for joining us, Michael, and welcome to Democracy Now! If you could talk about your piece that you wrote for Haaretz, “Israelis Must Maintain Their Humanity Even When Their Blood Boils”?
MICHAEL SFARD: Well, good morning to you, and thank you very much for having me.
These are terrible, terrible days, actually quite a nightmare that we’re living through, and my heart goes out to the previous interviewees from Gaza.
We have experienced a shock. I have to mediate to you the sentiment in the Israeli public, in the Israeli society. The attack on Saturday was a savage attack, targeting civilians, going from one house to another in civilian neighborhoods and killing, murdering women, children and elderly and innocent people, and also, in the scene of the party, killing hundreds of people. And the blood boils. And the blood boils. It’s not just that the blood boils, but also one feels a puncture in the heart, a hole in the stomach.
And now the question is: What do you do with that, with this, confronting this inhuman attack? Do you fill the punctured heart and the hole in your belly with cement, with concrete, or do you fill it with the warmth of compassion? And I’m afraid to say that many Israelis are extremely filled with rage and desire for revenge. And I, as a human rights lawyer —and in the last three decades I have been working tirelessly, dedicating my professional career to protect the rights of everyone, and especially Palestinian communities who are under occupation, under a regime of apartheid and under the very cruel blockade in Gaza —the only way that I know is to put a cry to adhere to the norms of international law. And I have to say I want to shout, but I understand that at this time there is very little space for a voice like that.
And when I hear the leaders of the state of Israel and the generals, and their rhetoric suggests that things that in the past they denied that the Israeli army is doing in the cycle of attacks on Gaza is now almost probably an official policy —targeting en masse inhabited areas, starving people as a method of warfare. I mean, this is — if what Hamas has done was a blatant war crime —and, I mean, the legal term is “war crime,” but, in fact, it’s a crime against humanity, not in the legal sense, but in the moral sense. It was an attack on everything that is human. To take hostage women with their children, elderly men and women on wheelchairs, this is just incomprehensible. But now my government is waging an attack that seems to be using war crimes to retaliate on war crimes. And this is definitely not what should be done now.

Displaced in Gaza: Hundreds of thousands sheltering in underway schools
3 Nov 2023 - 23:50(23:50 GMT)
Here’s what happened today
We are going to bring our live coverage to an end soon. Here’s a summary of today’s main events:
An Israeli strike on a medical convoy near Al-Shifa Hospital that killed 15 people was just one of three attacks near a medical facility in Gaza City today, according to local health authorities.
Israel says its military targeted an ambulance being used by Hamas fighters near Al-Shifa.
Palestinian Health Ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Qudra rejected that claim, saying two ambulance vehicles were struck and that the convoy was transporting patients.
Separate Israeli strikes in the north of Gaza also targeted a convoy of civilians seeking to evacuate via the al-Rashid road, killing at least 14; At least 20 were killed in an Israeli attack on a school hosting displaced people in the Saftawi neighbourhood.
Amid the violence, the UN agency for Palestinian refugees has said it can no longer provide safety at shelters under the UN flag; UNRWA also said at least 38 people have died in UN facilities since the war began, with five facilities directly hit in bombardments.
Top US diplomat Antony Blinken has said he stressed the need for “concrete” steps to protect civilians during meetings with Israeli leaders in Tel Aviv.
Immediately after meeting the US secretary of state, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu ruled out a temporary ceasefire despite growing pressure for “humanitarian pauses”, including from Washington.
Breaking his silence for the first time since the war began, Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah in a speech said those who want to prevent a regional escalation must stop the war on the Gaza Strip.
Nasrallah added that the Lebanon-based group is ready for all possibilities, as firings across the Israel-Lebanon border continued.
More people have been able to leave Gaza via the Rafah crossing with Egypt, including family members of Scotland’s first minister Humza Yousaf.

A convoy of ambulances was transporting critically wounded patients from the Al-Shifa Hospital to the Rafah border crossing with Egypt when it was targeted in an Israeli attack, Ashraf al-Qudra, a spokesman for the Health Ministry said on Friday.

“We informed the Red Cross and the Red Crescent (PRCS), we informed the whole world, that those victims were lined up in those ambulances,” he said.
“This was a medical convoy.”
The PRCS condemned the targeting of the ambulance convoy – four of which belonged to the health ministry and one to the PRCS.
In a statement, the PRCS said the convoy left Al-Shifa Hospital at 16:05 local time but was forced to return after travelling for about 4km due to rocks and a large amount of shelling on al-Rashid, Gaza’s coastal road heading south. At about 1km from Al-Shifa Hospital, one of the ambulances belonging to the health ministry was “directly targeted” by a missile not more than a kilometre from the hospital, resulting in the injuries of the ambulance crew and patients inside, according to the PRCS.
The other vehicles continued their journey towards Gaza’s largest medical facility but the PRCS ambulance was struck by an Israeli missile at about two metres from the hospital gate. The attack killed 15 people and wounded 60, the PRCS said.
“The deliberate targeting of medical teams constitutes a grave violation of the Geneva Conventions, a war crime”, it added.

Palestinian photographer Abdul Hakim Abu Reyash said there were a lot of people and vendors outside al-Shifa Hospital at the time of the air attack, resulting in the killing of “a lot of civilians”.
He added that the injured in the ambulances were mainly women.
The Israeli military confirmed that one of its aircraft hit an ambulance, saying Israeli soldiers assessed it was being used by a Hamas unit close to their position in the battle zone.
It said that Hamas uses ambulances to transport fighters and weapons – without providing evidence to support the claims – and added that a number of Hamas fighters were killed in the attack.
World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said he was “utterly shocked” by reports of an attack on ambulances evacuating patients.

“We reiterate, patients, health workers, facilities, and ambulances must be protected at all times, always,” Tedros said in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter.
