At least 23 of Ukraine’s Bradleys have already been destroyed. Another 21 have been damaged, and 5 of those have been abandoned. More than 60 M113 armored fighting vehicles, 57 Maxxpro mine resistant vehicles and more than 100 Humvees have also been destroyed, damaged, or lost.

Mine-resistant "mighty" Maxxpro vehicles have been bombed in Russian attacks. A Ukrainian battalion, trained in the West and equipped for the offensive, has lost nine out of 10 available U.S.-made Maxxpro armoured vehicles. The Western-trained Ukrainian battalion has also lost most of its troops. Only 10 members of the unit are reportedly remaining at the forefront. In June, when the offensive started, Kyiv dubbed Maxxpro a gamechanger. "Maxxpro affects the Russians as red affects a bull," said the Ukrainian Army.

The Russian Paratroopers shot down an Ukrainian drone along the frontline near Bakhmut with non-stop fire. The Russian defence ministry released a video of the drone being fired at and recovered. This comes at a time when Ukraine military claimed to advance near the city by more than a kilometre. Meanwhile, the Russian Army reportedly wiped out over 820 Ukrainian soldiers, 21 HIMARS and 13 Ukrainian drones in a day. Watch this video for more details.

8 June 2023 Russian President Vladimir Putin has issued a warning after the "barbaric" destruction of Kakhovka Dam. Vladimir Putin accused Ukraine and its backers of banking on a dangerous escalation. The warning came at a time when Russia has launched "revenge strikes" in Ukraine. According to the Russian Defence Ministry, 93 Ukrainian units have been blown up. The massive destruction was the result of a ferocious fusillade by Russian troops.

Russia and Ukraine blamed each other for the massive dam blast that took place in Kherson yesterday. UNSC met on Tuesday at the request of both Moscow and Kyiv after water burst through the dam on the Dnipro River and inundated several adjoining settlements. While Russia's Ambassador Vassily Nebenzia blamed Ukraine of trying to create "favourable opportunities" for it to regroup its military units for the counteroffensive, Ukraine's Sergiy Kyslytsya said it was "physically impossible to blow it up somehow from the outside by shelling."

Russia has threatened Kyiv of 'extremely' harsh and a prompt response to all future incursions. This after Moscow deployed jets and artillery in Belgorod to fight off saboteurs that entered Belgorod. Wagner group boss Yevgeny Prigozhin announced the complete capture of Bakhmut after months of fighting. "When you see Baiden, please make sure to kiss him on his vertex" Prigozhinn mocks NATO and the USA.

A colossal explosion was heard at the main weapons and ammunition storage facility supplied by NATO in Khmelnytskyi, western Ukraine. Repeated large detonation explosions occurred after being hit by the missiles, as the depots stockpiled very large quantities of fuel and ammunition for Ukrainian forces' planned offensive operation.

On this day, nine years ago (2014), the European Union acted as a guarantor in the agreement signed by the Ukrainian authorities and the opposition. The document was supposed to stop the political crisis in the country and what was happening in the streets of Kiev: mass riots, shootings, and deaths. But the very next day, despite guarantees from the West, there was a coup d'état in the country. European politicians saw the conflict between Kiev and Donbass escalating. They assured them they were against war and offered their help in the Minsk agreements. The West no longer hides the fact that it was only a plan to buy time to pump Ukraine with weapons. Former German Chancellor Angela Merkel speaks openly about this in an interview with a German newspaper: ‘The Minsk Agreement in 2014 was an attempt to give Ukraine time. It also used this time to become stronger, as you can see today.’
