In this video of the engine rebuild, ( Part: 2 Finishing the engine disassembly ), We disassemble the lower end of the engine, by removing just about everything including the, Primary chain assembly, Clutch assembly, Transmission, and then split the engine cases. Mainly to assess the condition of the lower end components to determine what condition the crank assembly is in before we start rebuilding. In this video we take a seized up model 65A generator clean it up and hope for the best, First off we start by disassembling it, cleaning it up and then reassemble it. We then test the generator, seeing if will work again or will it need parts. If it works, we can then repaint it and put it on a shelf for later use someday. Will it work again? Finally got the springer front end components back from the body shop, a few days went by for the paint to fully cure, now in a slight step by step process we rebuild the springer front end back to the way, it should have looked the day it came out new in 1940. In this video of the engine rebuild, ( Part: 1 The disassembly ), we disassemble the top end, by removing the rocker boxes, The bonneville head, and cylinder assembly, mainly to assess the condition of the top end components to determine what it will take to make the engine awesome again, and during that we determine how far we really need to go in to the engine. As we find some interesting stuff that had happened to some of the parts throughout the life of this engine.

In this video we disassembled the two Amal Mk 1 carburetors from the Tiger which had a Bonneville head on it and picked out the good parts to rebuild one for the 1971 Tiger restoration for when we put the correct single carb head on later, so we start off by explaining the components of a Amal Mk 1, and then we finish off by explaining the particulars of a Amal Mk 1 carb when rebuilding one, and restore the carburetor with some upgraded parts as well.
