Webinar | TikTok: Xi’s Not-so-Secret Weapon; How Do We Disarm It?
House Vote Today is a Critical Battle in the CCP’s “Unrestricted Warfare” Against Us
The outcome of a House floor vote today to disarm the CCP of its lethal weapon doing business as TikTok may determine the future course of what is now properly called “World War Xi.”
As our Committee on the Present Danger: China has documented over the past five years, Chinese dictator Xi Jinping is not only engaged in “strategic arson” across the globe, setting fires with his proxies in Ukraine, Israel, the Red Sea and threatening to do so in Taiwan. His Party has also long been engaged in “unrestricted” pre-kinetic warfare against America.
The CCP’s weaponization of TikTok in such warfare is on full display today as our Representatives vote on vitally needed, bipartisan legislation that would shut the platform down unless new American owners terminate its toxic algorithm, Big Data collection and influence operations.
Congress must heed not the CCP’s “addicts” and lobbyists but the patriots who understand that a defeat in this fight may lead to decisive ones in the violent battles Xi has in store for us next.
This CPDC webinar examines the various ways in which TikTok poses a threat to the United States and her people; how the platform has been weaponized to date, including for the purpose of defeating the bipartisan legislation requiring its divestment from the CCP; and the means by which it will be used in the future against America if not divested; and the importance of taking action to defuse this ticking time-bomb now

Webinar | Will Xi’s Economic Meltdown Precipitate a Hot War?
Indications that Trouble for the CCP at Home Will Mean More Trouble for Us
The evidence continues to mount that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is in real difficulty financially, economically, demographically and politically. Some assert that such problems will preclude Xi Jinping from pursuing his ambitions to acquire Taiwan, by one means or another, or engage in aggression against her friends, like us.
The totality of Xi’s policies and conduct, however, suggest that – if anything – the Communist emperor is actually more likely to act aggressively under these circumstances.
This CPDC webinar examines: the nature and extent of the CCP’s internal difficulties; its preparations nonetheless of the Chinese people, society and military for the sacrifices required to mobilize for and wage war; and the further encouragement Xi Jinping may be taking from the combined effects of an American president who is, at best, unwilling to treat Communist China as an adversary and, at worst, incentivizing Xi’s aggression by making this country ever-more-vulnerable to conflict.

Webinar | Mitch McConnell: Now’s Time for the CCP’s Old Friend to Go
The Senate Needs a New Minority Leader for the Next Eight Months
Senator Mitch McConnell announced this week that he will not run again for the post of his chamber’s Minority Leader after the November election. But, for a number of reasons directly relevant to the concerns of the Committee on the Present Danger: China, he needs to resign that position now, not cling to it for the next eight, critical months.
For one thing, Senator McConnell and his wife, former Labor and Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao, have made large personal fortunes in the family shipping business with Communist China. Such ties deserve serious examination, especially in light of the recent demise of Secretary Chao’s sister, Angela Chao, who also had extensive ties to the CCP, in a pond on the McConnells’ ranch in Texas under circumstances now deemed to warrant a criminal investigation.
Given the Senator’s longtime involvement with the Chinese Communist Party and his very strained relationship with former President Donald Trump, he would be in a position to undermine the re-election bid of a man the CCP helped remove from office with its COVID-19 biological weapons attack – and definitely does not want to return to the White House.
Mr. McConnell may also reprise over the next eight months his practice of exploiting control over campaign resources to subvert Republican candidates for the many Democrat-held and open Senate seats this fall who would not be aligned with him. That may redound especially to the detriment of GOP critics of the PRC.
Then, there is the prospect that Senator McConnell will continue to perform as the Democrats’ controlled-opposition – going along with agendas that benefit the Chinese Communist Party, including border insecurity, reckless deficit spending, “global governance,” and climate change that most GOP voters categorically reject.
This CPDC webinar considers Senator McConnell’s record in these regards and the harm that may befall the Republic should he remain as Senate Minority Leader between now and November.

Webinar | Kinmen & Matsu 2.0: Is Xi About to Pull the Trigger on a Shooting War with Taiwan and Us?
The Chinese Communist Party has taken what may be its first steps toward imminent military action against Taiwan. If the United States fails to respond decisively and quickly, it invites further aggressionon an accelerated basis.
The CCP has seized on Taiwan’s intercept of a speedboat that fatally capsized near the latter’s island of Kinmen, which – along with Matsu – is just off the Chinese mainland. Beijing has denied that there are “maritime boundaries” associated with those islands, setting the stage for further incursions into their waters. And, on Tuesday, a China Coast Guard vessel stopped and boarded a Taiwanese tour boat.Absent real costs, the blockade or invasion presumably of both Kinmen and Matsu may now be in the offing, and perhaps thereafter of Taiwan, itself.
The opportunity to prevent such a cascading disaster will likely be fleeting. Retired Navy CaptainJames Fanellargues we must declare such Chinese belligerence a tripwire for our formal recognition of Taiwan and explicit commitment to its defense.
This CPDDC webinar examines the potential for the islands previously known as Quemoy and Matsu to become once again a potential flashpoint between not only Taiwan and the PRC, but the United States, as well. As the 1960 presidential debates between then-Senator John Kennedy and then-Vice President Richard Nixon illuminated, the level of U.S. attention to the status of these islands can change rapidly. That could be even more true under present circumstances. The implications for U.S. security interests, at home and abroad, of a CCP move to seize Kinmen and Matsu require most urgent attention.

Webinar | Why Are We Buying the CCP’s “Rope” to Hang Us?
How the Chinese Communists’ “Old Friends” are Abetting Our Mortal Enemy
In recent days, a series of analyses have exposed the extent to which the U.S. financial sector has been enabling the military build-up, domestic repression and global ambitions of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Among these products are analyses of: the insinuation by Vanguard and the FTSI-Russell Index of CCP “A shares” into the portfolios of many millions of mostly unwitting American investors; the extent to which Chinese companies traded on U.S. exchanges are supporting Iran’s regime and its growing threat; the involvement of 5 leading venture capital firms here in identifying and helping transfer to the CCP cutting-edge and, in many cases, militarily relevant technologies; and how Wall Street funds China’s rise.
These products are the more striking as they have been issued as the Chinese capital markets, real estate sector and banks have been in free-fall. The cumulative losses for China’s own and for foreign investors are incalculable. And the fiduciary folly of continuing to send more funds from American pension participants, mutual fund, 401k plans, Exchange Trade Funds and other investment vehicles – to say nothing of the associated strategic peril – is indisputable.
This CPDC webinar assesses the extent to which the Chinese Communist Party’s “old friends” on Wall Street and the people they own in official Washington are imperiling both the financial health of over 100 million American investors and the security of their countrymen and nation. We also address what must be done to prevent irreparable harm from being inflicted on all of the above when, not if, Xi Jinping’s regime either collapses or adds a shooting war to the “unrestricted warfare” the CCP has long waged against America.

Webinar | Xi’s Pearl Harbor: It’s Not Just the Plan; the CCP is Acting on It
With the benefit of hindsight, experts debate whether we had foreknowledge about the deadly Pearl Harbor and 9/11 attacks on our homeland. There can be no such dispute about those being readied by the Chinese Communist Party.
For example, FBI Director Chris Wray warned last week that the CCP is planning to “wreak havoc” here with cyberwarfare. The same day, the Justice Department announced it had just thwarted such an attack. And a new multinational report says Chinese government hackers have been “hiding” inside our critical infrastructure for five years.
Last month, ten former senior FBI executives wrote that Chinese and other military-age men invading our border threaten catastrophe. That could be especially the case if those invaders marry up with the deadly pathogens that could abound in any other CCP biolabs here like the one discovered in Reedley, California over a year ago.
This CPDC webinar maps out Xi Jinping’s incipient Pearl Harbor – and what we must do about it now. Every American should see it.

Webinar | Fundamental Transformation: Xi Bio-engineers a New Genetic Arsenal
Will the C.C.P. Dominate the Biotech Domain – and at What Cost to Us?
A recent news article in Defense One paints a chilling picture of the Chinese Communist Party’s headlong pursuit of bio-engineering as part of its so-called “civil-military fusion” program. Notably, it says: “Central to the CCP’s efforts to achieve dominance in biology as a domain of military struggle…[are] ‘specific ethnic genetic attacks.’”
That genocidal research, much of which is being conducted by the Beijing Genomics Institute (BGI), requires the acquisition of vast amounts of personal data, especially from those being targeted, including Americans.
This makes all the more concerning the genetic information the Chinese Communists are collecting in this country. Using PRC-owned platforms like “23andMe” and TikTok and partnerships here with major university medical centers and research institutions, the CCP is acquiring Big Data with the intention of weaponizing it against us.
The greatest source of such data, however, will likely arise from the CCP-dominated World Health Organization’s planned imposition of a universal digital ID, another powerful reason for withdrawing from and defunding the WHO.
A sign of the gravity of this threat is legislation just introduced in the House of Representatives by Chairman Mike Gallagher and Ranking Member Raja Krishnamoorthi of its Select Committee on the Strategic Competition between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party. Entitled the BIOSECURE Act, this bill is aimed at preventing CCP companies – notably BGI – and those of other foreign adversaries from gaining access to U.S. taxpayer-underwritten funding.
As Chairman Gallagher put it:
Beijing Genomics Institute collects genetic data of Americans [and] uses it for research with the Chinese military. The CCP will undoubtedly use the genetic data collected by BGI to further its malign aggression, potentially even to develop a bioweapon used to target the American people. The good news is that Congress can do something about it. I urge my colleagues on both sides of the aisle and in both chambers of Congress to support this bipartisan, bicameral legislation that finally takes action to protect Americans from actors like BGI.
This CPDC webinar addresses what we need to be protected against, with regard to the bio-tech threat posed by BGI and the CCP more generally, the need for legislation like the BIOSECURE act and what else must be done.

Webinar | World War Xi: How We Got Here, What’s Next
The C.P.D.C.’s Five Years of Warnings and Recommendations for the Way Ahead
For the past five years, the Committee on the Present Danger: China (CPDC) has striven to reprise a role played by the original Committee on the Present Danger nearly fifty years ago: Awakening the American people and their elected representatives about the time’s “existential threat to freedom” and presenting strategies for defeating that threat. CPD 1.0 was instrumental in one of its members’ securing a mandate for taking down the Soviet Union in the course of Ronald Reagan’s 1980 presidential bid and executing that mandate successfully once in office. Today’s CPD: China seeks to do the same to an enemy that far surpasses the menace posed by the USSR: the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
At this moment, leading members of the CPDC are meeting at a Summit in Washington, D.C., to take stock of the global conflict that has – notwithstanding the Committee’s best efforts to date – been sparked by the CCP’s pyromaniacal emperor, Xi Jinping. While some call it World War III, a more accurate descriptor given the serial conflagrations he has engineered to date and those now in prospect would be World War Xi.
This CPDC webinar shares highlights of the previous day’s CPDC Members’ Summit and insights into both the war now underway, what may be in the offing and what the United States must do without further delay if it – and what is left of the Free World – are to survive the CCP’s three decades of truly “unrestricted warfare” and Xi’s accelerating strategic arson. The webinar features presentations by members who served during the summit as Lead Discussants for their respective topics.

Webinar | The Biden Doctrine: No Worse Friend, No Better Enemy
Does Not Supporting Taiwan’s Independence Invite CCP Aggression?
Joe Biden has stood on its head a proud moniker of American warriors: He epitomizes no better enemy and no worse friend.
That deplorable distinction has been earned by, among other things: his surrender of Afghanistan; his greenlighting of a “minor Russian incursion” into Ukraine; his appeasement of Iran and undermining of Israel; and his months-long refusal to retaliate decisively for Iranian proxies’ attacks on U.S. personnel.
Most recently, right after the Taiwanese electorate voted for freedom over enslavement by Communist China, Biden announced, that the United States “does not support [Taiwan’s] independence.” Clearly, that comment rejects the de facto status quo. The question is: What will be the upshot of this latest example of the Biden Doctrine of treating enemies better than friends?
In particular, this CPDC webinar examines whether Xi Jinping is being encouraged to engage in the sort of aggression towards Taiwan – and perhaps other targets in the Western Pacific and beyond – that his proxies have pursued to date elsewhere. It also considers the broader prospect that Biden’s Doctrine will dangerously result in many more, and greatly emboldened, American foes and far fewer and less reliable allies.

Webinar | RED ALERT: If Taiwan Votes for Freedom, Will Xi’s Next Conflagration be Here?
On Saturday, voters in Taiwan will likely choose freedom over enslavement by the Chinese Communist Party. But China’s dictator, Xi Jinping, has other plans and is now poised to impose them on the Taiwanese, and the rest of the world.
His ambitions are an incalculable danger for us especially because Xi is determined to prevent America from thwarting their realization. And he’s now ready to ravage, if not destroy, this countrythanks – among other things – to his successful infiltration of large numbers of apparent Chinese military personnel across the southern border that President Biden has effectively dismantled.
This CPDC webinar provides a Red Alert about the threat we now face as a result of the “tinder” pyromaniacal Xi Jinping has amassed inside the United States, including the presence across America of what may be multiple divisions-worthof People’s Liberation Army special operations personnel.
We examine as well as what must done now, such as, sealing that border to prevent the insertion of still more of such forces; adopting a war-footing comparable to that now in place in China; and task the FBI to stop hectoring January 6thpatriots and focus, instead, on locating, rounding-up and neutralizing Chinese – and, for that matter, jihadist – operatives positioned to wage war upon usfrom within.

Webinar | Korean War 2.0: Xi’s Next Act of Strategic Pyromania?
Is North Korea Good-to-Go, and America’s Options
The election in Taiwan on January 13th is putting into sharp relief the increasing insistence by Chinese dictator Xi Jinping that the island’s democratic form of government is an endangered species. He has mobilized his military and society for war in support of Taiwan’s forceful conquest. Xi has also precipitated through various proxies conflagrations around the world from Ukraine to Gaza to the Red Sea for a similar purpose.
Unfortunately, still more acts of such Xi-engineered “strategic arson” seem in prospect, as does their intended effect: distracting the United States, depleting its financial and military resources and otherwise diminishing its ability to deal with the Chinese Communist Party’s own impending acts of aggression towards Taiwan and probably other targets in the Western Pacific.
This CPDC webinar considers the possibility that the next such conflagration might be renewed conflict on the Korean Peninsula. After all, in recent months, North Korea’s totalitarian regime under Kim Jong Un has engaged in myriad tests of increasingly capable missiles, provocative military exercises and bellicose threats towards both neighboring South Korea and the United States.
We explore, among other topics: The Chinese Communist Party’s influence over Kim; his abiding commitment to the forcible reunification of the Koreas under communist misrule; the implications of extensive CCP influence operations and potential Fifth Column subversion in both South Korea and the United States; the implications for human rights and America’s strategic interests if Kim were successful in his aspirations; and what the United States and its South Korean allies must do to deter Korea War 2.0 and help free the people of North Korea from the tyranny that has long and brutally oppressed them – and now poses an ever-greater threat to us.

Webinar | Stop America’s sell-off – and sell-out
Oppose “Natural Asset Companies” the CCP and Other Enemies Could Control
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has proposed a rule, SR-NYSE-2023-09, that would enable radical environmentalists in the Biden administration to sell off to the Chinese Communist Party and other investors federal lands, water and even air via so-called “Natural Asset Companies” (NACs) on the condition that they would preclude virtually any productive use of such resources. Private land owners may also be impacted.
The deadline for public comments to the SEC was extended to January 2nd (without notice via an update to the website.) We understand, it might be extended further to January 18. Nonetheless, public comment to counter this stealthy effort to sell-off – and sell-out – America is urgent.
There are numerous problems with this scheme. As Margaret Byfield of American Stewards for Liberty warned in Real Clear Markets recently, these include:
- [NAC] companies would be given license to control lands, both public and private, and would be required not to conduct any “unsustainable activities, such as mining, that lead to the degradation of the ecosystems….Sovereign nations, such as the United States Government, can provide their lands toprivate investors, including those outside the United States. China, for example, may be able to invest in a NAC and effectively be a stakeholder in our national parks. Russia could assume control of lands currently leased to produce oil and place them off limits for future natural resource development.
- NACs would prevent the productive use of the land, which would hurt the landowners financially, but also reduce the supply of minerals, food, and other goods that come from the land.
- How might a company make control of land profitable while also not using the land? The method is admittedly confusing, perhaps intentionally. They profit from “ecological performance” such as “conservation, restoration, or sustainable management.” These NACs would quantify and monetize these natural outputs (such as air or water). The best comparison would be using the air we breathe as a cryptocurrency of sorts. And, these natural assets that collectively belong to all of us would now belong to corporations run by what many would call environmental special interests.
- Traditional accounting standards would not be used to regulate NACs. Likely, this is because NACs would not withstand scrutiny under generally accepted accounting principles.
- This effort would be a huge windfall for the federal government and the NACs. The government would create an entirely new revenue stream that would solely benefit the Davos-type [World Economic Forum] crowd that gives the current administration support. Both Big Government and radical environmentalists stand to benefit.
- These efforts intentionally prioritize environmentalism over human flourishing. [Prospective auditors] admit that “producing these essential goods and services and managing resources wisely is as valuable, or perhaps even more valuable, than the food production.”
This CPDC webinar examines the national security, economic and constitutional implications of stripping property rights and other personal freedoms from Americans in favor of a “global reset” that consolidates power and wealth in the tyrannical hands of foreign adversaries like: the Chinese Communist Party; other unelected, oppressive oligarchs; and unaccountable bureaucrats, here and abroad.

Webinar | Feeding the Mouth that Bites You: Biden’s Secret Agriculture Dealings with the CCP
An important part of Joe Biden’s appeasement of Chinese dictator Xi Jinping formalized during their summit on the margins of the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation meeting in San Francisco last month turns out to have been an agreement to launch a bilateral working group on agricultural issues. The magnitude of this U.S. concession is the greater for it comes as a growing number of Americans are recognizing the utter inadvisability of allowing the Chinese Communist Party anywhere near American farmland, the wellspring of our food supply and its associated processing plants and distribution infrastructure – let alone owning such assets.
As journalist Natalie Winters reported on December 16, 2023:
[During a keynote address to a CCP United Front Work Department event, U.S.] Ambassador to China Nick Burns revealed that the White House secretly established an Agricultural Working Group with the Chinese Communist Party…despite concerns over the national security risk posed by China’s foray into America’s farmland and food supply.
The stunning announcement follows efforts from Republican lawmakers to forbid Chinese Communist Party-linked companies and individuals from purchasing U.S. farmland, blocking their ability to influence the security of America’s food supply. President Joe Biden, however, appears to have taken a different and considerably more inviting approach to the Chinese Communist Party on agriculture matters, according to Ambassador Burns’s recent speech.
This CPDC webinar examines the national and food security threats posed by Chinese individuals and entities tied to the CCP buying up American farming real estate, processing plants and other aspects of our food supply chain. It also addresses what must be done to protect the American heartland, its people and their food security now clearly in the Chinese Communists’ crosshairs.

Webinar | Going South: Will Latin America Be Arsonist Xi’s Next Conflagration?
CPDC Webinar to Assess the Prospects for Yet Another CCP Proxy Invasion and More
A big part of intelligence tradecraft – and, for that matter, the basic survival instinct – is pattern recognition. So, CIA analysts, and even mere mortals, should be picking up on an unmistakable similarity between ominous events across the globe that have, time and again, proved to be deeply problematic for the United States, her interests and decreasing number of allies.
First, there was the invasion of Ukraine by Russia in February 2022. It was preceded by a meeting between Chinese Communist dictator Xi Jinping and his “no limits” partner, Vladimir Putin. Within weeks, once Xi’s “Genocide Games” were completed, Putin launched his invasion of Ukraine.
Then, in the months running up to October 7th and the worst pogrom against Jews since World War II accompanied by increasing attacks on American personnel and warships by Iran and its proxies, top mullahs and Palestinian leaders made similar pilgrimages to Beijing.
And after Venezuelan dictator Nicholas Maduro had his meeting with Xi in September, he returned home and began talking of forcibly seizing much of neighboring Guyana and mobilizing his military for that purpose.
See a pattern here?
Obviously, Xi Jinping is igniting these “Bonfires of the Tyrannies.” And, as the Committee on the Present Danger: China has documented in a succession of webinars (see, for example, here, here and here), his purpose transparently is to distract, deplete and otherwise disable the United States and its ability to counter what is surely coming in due course: the CCP’s own aggression, presumably against Taiwan, but probably also us. Worse yet, he has been amassing “tinder” to torch-on our own country, as well, presumably in the immediate run-up to such Chinese belligerence.
This CPDC webinar assesses the prospects for Xi’s pyromania transforming Latin America into yet-another theater in the wider war he has launched to date in Eastern Europe and the Middle East. It considers, among other fraught topics: the CCP’s penetration of our hemisphere and that of its proxies, including notably Russia, Iran and Hezbollah; the infrastructure Xi is building throughout the region under his Belt and Road Initiative with which, ultimately, Communist China can project power; and other opportunities now being created and exploited in the region by the CCP & Friends (e.g., fresh revelations about the U.S. State Department’s efforts to subvert the democratic government of our Central American ally, Guatemala). We also examine the Biden administration’s recent announcement of strategic exercises with Guyana.

Webinar | ’Bonfires of the Tyrannies’: The CCP & Friends Ignite a Tanker War in the Mideast
Webinar to Assess Latest Instance of Xi’s Strategic Pyromania
In recent weeks, Iran’s Houthi proxies have engaged in a series of attacks against shipping in the Red and Arabian Seas aimed at damaging and/or seizing vessels deemed to have ties to Israel. In several of these actions, a U.S. Navy warship responded, in two instances drawing Houthi fire on itself. The prospect for a wider conflict in the strategic waters of the southern Middle East is real and growing.
Among other questions raised by these provocative actions is whether, like the invasions by the Chinese Communist Party’s “No Limits” partner, Vladimir Putin, in Ukraine and its vassals in Tehran against Israel – both of w;hich were preceded by consultations in Beijing, the CCP is not only a beneficiary of such disruptions, but their instigator.
This CPDC webinar assesses the nature of the warfare now taking place at sea; Iran’s direct involvement in it; the economic and strategic implications of the attacks on shipping – potentially far beyond the immediate region; the readiness of the U.S. Navymand military more generally to contend with yet another conflict; the likelihood that there will be more distracting, depleting and disabling “brushfires” ignited by the CCP in the days to come; and our options going forward.

Webinar | What Could Possibly Go Wrong? The CCP’s Covert Biolab Program in America
House Investigation Exposes Dangerous Facility in California; Are There Others?
You wouldn’t have known it from the red-carpet treatment Chinese dictator Xi Jinping received in San Francisco two weeks ago from President Joe Biden, California Governor Gavin Newsom and 400 corporate leaders, but until recently their guest was stealthily operating a biolab containing potential weapons of mass destruction near Fresno.
A chilling report issued on November 15th by the House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party confirmed that this facility was replete with samples of 20 deadly pathogens, the equipment to replicate them and mice genetically modified to spread COVID-19.
In the hands any of the thousands of apparent People’s Liberation Army special forces personnel who have illegally entered this country in recent months, such diseases could have been unleashed with devastating effect.
Despite the obvious dangers, the House investigators reported that the FBI and Centers for Disease Control were very slow to respond to requests for assistance from the local authorities. One might even say those agencies were studiously incurious about what this particular lab was up to. That may also help explain the Select Committee’s assessment that we do not know whether other Chinese labs are continuing to operate in this country and, if so, how many, where and to what end.
This CPDC webinar examines the Select Committee’s report and other evidence that the Chinese Communist Party has the potential for weapons of mass destruction use and other attacks against the American homeland – perhaps as the ultimate example of the Chinese dictator’s strategic arson aimed at distracting the U.S. from mounting a serious opposition to Xi’s own aggression.

Webinar | The Emperor and His Asset: A Damage-assessment on the Xi-Biden Meeting
On Wednesday, President Biden legitimated a serial strategic arsonist with a meeting in San Francisco. Worse yet, as expected, he sought to reward Chinese “dictator” Xi Jinping – who apparently greenlighted invasions of Ukraine by Russia and Israel by Hamas – with a variety of new opportunities for intensified “engagement” with America.
These include fresh, empty promises from Xi concerning the CCP’s ongoing chemical warfare against America via fentanyl; resuscitated military-to-military communications that have actually proven harmful to us in the past; and consultations on artificial intelligence more likely to facilitate Beijing’s theft of our intellectual property than prevent AI’s lethal weaponization by the Communist Chinese.
What really matters, however, is the prospect of U.S. government encouragement of further, expanded American investment in Communist China.
Incredibly, what would amount to yet-another bail-out of Xi’s failing Chinese Communist Party comes as it prepares to ignite “tinder” the CCP has created here over decades of “unrestricted warfare” against us – notably by: hollowing out our industrial base; attacking us with a biological weapon; dividing us with cultural Marxist initiatives like racist “diversity”; and “capturing” elites supposed to protect us against such assaults. (These, among many other examples of such “pre-kinetic” assaults are the subject of over 120 previous webinars by the Committee on the Present Danger: China.)
Even now, Xi is weaponizing TikTok literally to inflame support for Hamas and smuggling in tens of thousands of military personnel to light his next fire across America on command.
All this serves as the background for this CPDC webinar. It provides a post-mortem damage assessment of the Xi-Biden mini-summit on the margins of the Asia-Pacific Economic Council meeting, following up on its pre-mortem on last week.
It features, among other insights, a heartening report that the funding mostly unwitting Americans are being induced by Wall Street to invest in CCP-controlled companies will no longer include past and present military and federal government personnel participating in the Federal Thrift Savings Plan. The Committee welcomes the decision the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board (FRTIB) took this week to drop as the sole offering for its International Fund an MSCI index-traded fund that included shares of Chinese/Hong Kong corporations in favor of one that prudently does not.

Webinar | The ‘Arsonist’ Cometh: Biden Must Help Take Down the CCP, Not Prop It Up
APEC Meeting Sets Stage for Xi to Add our Home Front to his Global Conflagration”
Next week, the arsonist who runs the world’s largest Transnational Criminal Organization and is personally responsible for serially lighting strategic “fires” that portend a global conflagration comes to America.
That would be Chinese dictator Xi Jinping and he will visit with President Biden in San Francisco. Their meeting may be even more fraught than the one in Munich eighty-five years ago when Adolf Hitler concluded he could aggress with impunity, given Neville Chamberlain’s weakness.
Tragically, Biden’s enfeebled condition and status as a “controlled asset” of China make Chamberlain look like Churchill.
Worse yet, the CCP arsonist has been sparking fires here, too. To cite but one example, his addictive, manipulative and massively popular app known as TikTok has been encouraging pro-Hamas agitation across the country – including a vandalous assault on the White House.
Despite such behavior, all other things being equal, it is a safe bet that Joe Biden will use the occasion of his meeting with his “old friend” Xi Jinping to the same end as his subordinates have pursued in a succession of Cabinet-level kowtowing sessions, mostly in Beijing: Submit to the CCP, lend it legitimacy and commit to renewed “engagement” on Xi’s terms. All of which conveys to a tyrant like him that he can get away with murder, literally, by setting more “fires” around the globe to the point where we are so distracted, depleted and demoralized that he may be able to win, notably in Taiwan, possibly without fighting.
This CPDC webinar will anticipate the content and repercussions of the upcoming Xi-Biden meeting and offer an alternative approach to that likely to be pursued by Joe Biden – one that would help take down, rather than prop up, the greatest existential threat to freedom of all time: the Chinese Communist Party.

Telethon Highlights: Save America’s Military
Memo to the Senate: Stop the Marxist Take-down of Our Military
The U.S. Senate recently approved Gen. C.Q. Brown to be the next Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff even though he has aggressively championed such Marxist strategies for dividing-and-conquering America as: Critical Race Theory; Diversity, Equity, Inclusion; the LGBTQ+ agenda; transgender accommodations; and climate change as the greatest threat facing our country.
You don’t need to be a past or present member of the armed forces – or one of their loved ones – to understand how incompatible these initiatives are with our military’s essential readiness, recruitment, morale and deterrence capabilities. Yet, all but 11 Senators voted to make General our nation’s top officer. And, all other things being equal, they will likely approve still more of these so-called “woke” admirals and generals.
That’s where we come in. The American people, who overwhelmingly revere our men and women in uniform and rely upon them to secure us, do not want Marxists to further penetrate and take-down the armed services. And they don’t want their Senators to vote to facilitate such a perilous and, to use Barack Obama’s ominous phrase, “fundamental transformation.”
That is especially true at a moment when the Chinese Communist Party is manifestly preparing for a shooting war against us – and can only be emboldened by the success here of its friends’ divisive subversion in our ranks.
A new, informal coalition called “Save America’s Military” has been created to do just that by making the case that the Senate should reject, rather than promote, officers who, like Gen. C.Q. Brown, favor insidious Marxist policies and by facilitating patriots in calling on their senators to represent them faithfully.

Webinar | Weaponizing Climate Change: The CCP & Friends’ Unrestricted Warfare Against America
California Governor and “Old Friend” of China paid a visit last week to Beijing, presumably to burnish his foreign policy credentials in advance of an expected bid for the Democratic Party’s presidential nomination next year. The Chinese Communist Party not only embraced him with uncharacteristic warmth. It played him like a Stradivarius as part of its well-honed strategy of using a putative shared commitment to countering so-called “climate change” to promote the seductive, but unfounded, proposition that the People’s Republic of China is a reliable partner of the United States, not its mortal enemy.
Previous kowtowing in the Chinese capital by no fewer than four U.S. Cabinet-level officials — including climate “czar” John Kerry, featured the same fraudulent narrative. In fact, far from following America’s lead in curbing so-called “greenhouse gas” emissions, the CCP is cynically contributing to the production of additional carbon dioxide emissions by bringing online additional coal-fired electricity generation plants every week.
The pretense of collaboration in sparing the world “disastrous” warming by working together to curb the use of “fossil fuels” has, however, enabled the Chinese Communists to advance one of their most important priorities: weakening the United States by reducing its energy security. This ominous agenda is being advanced by the CCP’s allies here, notably Joe Biden and his congressional partisans via their Green New Deal and the “fundamental transformation” of our power-generation and transportation sectors it entails.
Making America dependent not on its own massive reserves of oil, natural gas and coal but on Chinese-supplied solar panels, wind turbines and electric batteries is, in short, an important line-of-attack in the CCP and friends’ “unrestricted warfare” against this country and others.
This CPDC webinar examines the truth about carbon dioxide’s contribution to the warming of our planet based on actual scientific data and atmospheric factors that undercut the central thesis of this Marxist agenda; the Chinese Communist Party’s record in curbing such emissions and otherwise weaning itself off of fossil fuels; what is being done in the name of countering climate change to our economy, ecosystems and people; how it benefits the CCP; and what we must do to restore our energy security and, ideally, energy dominance.
