THE PEOPLE'S PATRIOT PROJECT We Got Your 6@6: Episode 189 25 February 2024
This episode brings some great guests on the show! We were joined by Amanda from H.O.O.V.E.S. (Healing of Our Veterans Equine Services). She is a passionate and full of fire veteran who is tired of people making excuses for why our veterans are left suffering when there are programs out there and people who want to help. Listen in and hear her talk about the opportunities, circumstances and choices that are made on a daily basis.
Our music guest was an organization guest just a couple weeks ago. Jeremiah Bones might sound familiar to you, and that is because he also goes by David Gambone. Jeremiah shared his songs with us, two of them even live! We heard She Wouldn’t Go - This is the 3rd song he had ever written. It came at a time in life where he and his wife were separated and it took some inward reflection for him to realize that changes needed to be made. The next song Jeremiah shared live for us was Bottled Up - This is another great song that he sang live last night. He also mentioned that it is the title track to his album that should drop sometime in 2024. Slow Down was the last song shared - He started writing this song a long time ago, but never finished it. It wasn’t until way later that he realized he had to go through some things in life before he could finish writing this song. It conveys the message to slow down and live in the present moment. Again, just another example of how we look at opportunities, circumstances and choices that are made daily.

THE PEOPLE'S PATRIOT PROJECT We Got Your 6@6: 3 March 2024
Episode 190: “No Hate Allowed - DeRate the Hate”
This episode brings some great guests on the show! We were joined by Mr. Wilk Wilkenson, who is very busy saving the world, but also has time to run his podcast, “DeRate the Hate”. On this week’s show, he explains how much more worldly good can be accomplished if we can just sit across the table from each other, no matter what background or political lane we come from, and discuss the available solutions. Wouldn’t it be great if we could find this good attribute in all Americans right now? By choosing No Hate Allowed and to DeRate the Hate we can show all how to reach out and help each other find solutions so that we can all move on to the good stuff.
Our music guest on this show is Seth Reid, a veteran who is also self-proclaimed “Just an oversized country singer trying to make it”, The music he shared was amazing, and we encourage you to take a listen. Maybe his calm nature will help DeRate the Hate in the world as well, and it will certainly be an enjoyable time finding out. Seth brings us three of his songs for the show:
Lawyer Man - He said he started playing a riff on his guitar and the words would come after the music for this one. This song is about when things get rough and it seems there’s nowhere to turn, you don’t know how you’re going to pay the bills, or the Lawyer Man.
Hurricane - There wasn’t a lot about this song to share. It was written around the phrase, “ Outside it may be raining, but in my mind there’s a hurricane.” I’d say the song definitely works.
3rd Song: Too Far Gone - his last song of the night. The song was good, but Seth was a little Too Far Gone - meaning he left the studio and could not get back in…. See the play on words there?

THE PEOPLE'S PATRIOT PROJECT WGY6@6: Episode 184
On this episode we are joined by Christine Walker and Adam Walker (no relation) of At Ease Magazine…. Christine is the Editor of At Ease, and the founder of Devil Doc Publishing. She is always busy with the magazine, and is very thankful for having Adam here with her now! The next release is in April, and it is always offered in print or digital. Adam has his own blog, on which he shares the stories and friendships that helped him get through his 20 years of service. Check this out at www.Takeitontheleftfoot.com and enjoy the message.
Music shared on this show is with Cody Strause. He is young, energetic, and active duty right now on Fort Bragg. Also, his music is amazing … Even if it is about a girl that leaves…
Song #1 is called 2 A. M. It’s about a girl who ghosted him while he was in Basic Training. He was hanging with a friend strumming on the guitar and this song was born out of emotional distress.
The next song he shared was So Much More. This song is about a girl, too. He decided to incorporate more of a bluegrass feel to this song. He wrote it right after arriving on Fort Bragg.
Third song shared by Cody is Make Me Nothing. This song is about looking back on things you’ve done in your past that you think you can’t fix. There are so many avenues to go to get past what you’re going through.

Music shared on the show was organized by Jonathan, and he nailed the amazing songs for the show. We started out with Still Here by the awesome group, Lake and Lyndale! What a great sound and voice! The next song was one by Cody Strause, a young up-and-coming active duty artist. His haunting voice and chilling words were captured in his song, Make Me Nothing. Music shared on the show was organized by Jonathan, and it seemed to be the week of new music from several of the artists in our network. The first song was a newly released song from Lake & Lyndale - Take Me Back. What a song - talking about how going down some of those old roads that you grew up on will take you back down memory lane. The second song was from Tony Turner - Everything’s Gonna Be Alright. Lastly, we had a unique occurrence where someone new to the network was in the comment section and gave us permission to play their newly released song on the show. The final song of the night was Jeremiah Bones - She Wouldn’t Go. What an exciting way to close out the show - talking to someone new in the network. The People's Patriot Project: Weekly Debrief: 8 January 2024
Last night had some great guests on the show! We were joined by Ed who shared about Soldiers 6, and the things he has going on and coming up. Ed and his wife, Dana, started this on their own, based on success with REX, their first rescue and support dog. This show will teach you and tug at your heart.
Music shared on the show last night was the following songs, and the reasons were this: 1.) Rooftop by Sam Steadman…such a good song. Sam has an eclectic style of music and a great story to tell. This song was about a young man who was going through a tough time and sitting on a rooftop decided it wasn’t his time to go. 2.) Blackwater Shine by Tony Turner. This is a great vocal performance by Tony. This song has such a great rhythm to it. It’s always been a personal favorite from the first time I listened to it. 3.) You Are Not Alone by Shannon Book. As the show progressed forward last night there seemed to be a theme that was persisting throughout. We can be here if you need to reach out and we can reach out to you as well if something isn’t right. Whether it’s a spouse, a service dog, a long lost friend, or maybe sometimes it’s a complete stranger that ends up in your path; however the story unfolds for you, just know that you are not alone. Battle Buddies, no one fights alone.

The People's Patriot Project WGY6@6: Episode 182: “Find Your 6 - We Got Your 6” 07 January 2024
This episode is so fun! We have our new friends, Ed and Dana Abrahamson, joining us after a long day at the dog show in town to share about the passion and mission with Soldiers 6. This organization has done some amazing things, but the best is that they take rescue dogs and make them service dogs by selection, and then they cover the veterinarian for an entire year as well. This is the result of Ed’s great experience receiving a service dog and having the best friend for life. Ed was able to find the support and love needed to keep himself grounded while his 6 were on their way to help. This connection is one that all service people should have after their service. Soldiers 6 is getting it done, so Let’s Get This Done! Ed found his, you need to Find Your 6 - We Got Your 6 when it comes to having someone nearby in a time of crisis.
We start our music out with 1.) Rooftop by Sam Steadman…such a good song. Sam has an eclectic style of music and a great story to tell. This song was about a young man who was going through a tough time and sitting on a rooftop decided it wasn’t his time to go. 2.) Blackwater Shine by Tony Turner. We played music by artists you may have heard of before. We started off with Scotty Hasting - How Do You Choose. Scotty is doing great things with his new label and we are excited to see how far he will go. Our next song was CW & Twenty Hands High - Same Ole Star. This is one of those that seems to become an instant classic in the room when you hear it. CW is making strides in Colorado and is winning numerous awards in the music industry. They are all well deserved. Last song of the night was Scotti Fraser - Never Surrender. We’ve heard the song from Scotti before, but this week he just released his new video for the song and sent it over to us to check out. We certainly appreciate Scotti for always reaching out to say hello and keep us in the loop about what is going on in his world and making sure he’s up to date in ours.

Wreaths Across America: Andrea - WAA report:
On Friday, 15 Dec 2023, one semi-truck delivered wreaths to the Fort Snelling National Cemetery Maintenance facility. Wreaths were unloaded and stored within a fenced area and protected from rain with tarps. These wreaths were dedicated to site specific placements (with several extra wreaths in reserve).
Between 08:00 and 09:00 on Saturday, 16 Dec 2023, three semi-trucks delivered wreaths, and were strategically located in three separate sections across Fort Snelling National Cemetery. After the 11:00-11:30 Ceremony, volunteers unloaded the trucks, distributed approximately 15,500 wreaths to the general public for placement at about every third grave site, and placed collapsed cardboard boxes back in the trucks.
WE would like to recognize the trucking companies and their drivers for donating time and trucks to the cause:

The People's Patriot Project - Episode 181: “Let’s Get this Done!” 10 December 2023 WGY6@6
This episode will educate and entertain you - The education today comes from our new friend, Chuck Tyler, who will tell us all about his nonprofit that supports veterans and others, Veterans Intellectual Property. This group is aligned with many attorneys who are ready to help with many needs, but most of all the importance of branding, copywriting and trademarks. This is an essential piece to every business organization, whether for-profit or nonprofit. This is important information, so Let’s Get This Done!
Our music tonight is shared by The People’s Patriot Project and the very talented friends that have shared the fruits of their talent! We start the evening out with a new release from Scotty Hasting - get your tissues - titled, “How Do You Choose?”. As a reflection on the loss of his battle buddy, Scotty is contemplating a huge life wonder. This is a fair question, and maybe God himself does not have a clear answer. Our next song comes from CW Wooten and 20 Hands High, and he shares Same Ole Star. This is one of those that seems to become an instant classic in the room when you hear it. CW is making strides in Colorado and is winning numerous awards in the music industry. They are all well deserved. The last song of the night was Scotti Fraser - Never Surrender. The People's Patriot Project: Episode 180: “Community and Collaboration” 10 December 2023 WGY6@6
This episode will educate and entertain you - If you have never been to Louisana or don’t know anyone from that magnificent state, you need to watch this episode! You will meet a great and forward-moving group, the Southern Louisiana Veteran Outreach group, and they will share their mission, and their passion to help and support is deep. Much like WeP3, they understand that sometimes the best help is in the smaller things, such as listening, helping with day-to-day, and being there at the moment needed most. There is no competition with this group, they just want to help the Community and Collaborate with others that also like to help and support.
Music is provided by Josh Garrett, who classifies his music as “roots”. Josh is an unselfish and giving person, and he thrives on listening and participating in these conversations. He entertains with this incredible style that gets you up on your feet, and dancing and tapping along with it. Song #1 shared is “Back from Memphis”. Song #2 shared is “Good Night, Good Night”, enjoy the slide guitar and harmonica, with the awesome sound and words it is an awesome tune! Song #3 closes out the show, and Josh shares a little story about his wife with “Honey for My Queen”
Listen in and enjoy the Community and Collaboration conversation!

Last night we had some great music and a great visit with Brooks Herring. What an amazingly talented artist, with a list of other amazing pieces… physical therapy, etc. He spent 6 years active Navy, 2 years military contracting after that. He’s been on deployment in Afghanistan, Iraq, Africa and the Gulf of Mexico after Hurricane Katrina. The first song he sang was Why Me. There was a line from the song, “ No One know the ghosts that live inside of me.” that stuck out to me when he was singing. The second song was Coming Home. This one was dedicated to veterans who leave home not knowing if they will return, or not. He closed out the night with a song called Home for Good.

Jonathan: Last night we had some great music and a great visit with Chris Turner. He is one passionate lover of his freedom, family and brothers and sisters. We first heard the best version of a Waffle House song. Way better than the Jonas Brothers, I don’t care what Mark says. Take you out!! By Chris Turner is better than all of ‘em. Next we had If You Drink and it just so happens that I do, so If You Drink, come drink one with us down in Thibodaux in March of 2024. Finally, to close out the night we had All In The Same Boat. Isn’t this a statement of truth. All in the same boat that’s sinking rapidly and worried about the receptacle someone else is using to bail instead of just bailing ourselves. SHHH!!! Eyes front and worry about your own dang problems.

We also had some great music by John Swat. His first song was Sure Feels Good. It’s one of the singles that’s going to be on his upcoming album. It’s an excellent song and as Miss Kimmer said, “It sure sounds good.” His second song was Red, White, & Blue Eyes. It’s likely going to be the next single to be released from his upcoming album. His last song was Rednexico. It’s a song about a place where every night is Cinco De Mayo and a couple of gringos can get a little bit Loco. John Swat is also working on a book that is a true story and it sounds like it’ll be a heck of a read.
Next Week's Guest will be Avi Tenenbaum

Jonathan: Scotti Fraser is working on his second album which will be released in January and completely released by March. He shared some amazing music with us tonight, starting with “These Colors Don’t Run”, which was a debut. This was about a couple of kids signing up after 9/11, Volunteering to go to war, willing to do what they thought necessary to protect their country. Just like the Colors, These kids don’t run. This is a story that will resonate with a lot of veterans. Then “Red, White and Blue”. This song is written as a love affair between a young man and a beautiful lady called Liberty. It’s about love for country. Finishing the show for us, he shared “Do or Die”, which will leave its resounding chorus in your brain. Minds not to wonder why, it’s just to do or die.
