Episode 149 - People Don't Want to Die, They Just Don't Know How to Live
We Got Your 6@6 Episode 149: On 07 May, We Got Your 6@6 Patriot Playtime features Mr. Bob Waldrep, who brings his amazing heart and passion, and shares the strides he has made to help and support the trauma of PTS. The big point driven home is that PTS and suicide might release the pain for the individual, but those who are left behind now have a trail of pain and heartache that could maybe have been avoided. Part of the idea behind Bob’s driving passion is the idea that People Don’t Want to Die, They Just Don’t Know How to Live. Bob shares his book and curriculum for training, and he has a new movie coming out, Trauma Comes Home, the Battle of the Warrior Family, that will explore some of the effects of this on the family. In addition to Bob’s support and passion, we have artist and musician, Chad Wooten, with his band Twenty Hands High, bringing music to share. He has been nominated for three Josie Awards this year, and we get to listen to those songs that will keep your toes tapping!
The People’s Patriot Project exists to be the shock and awe when combating the deadly and invisible enemy that is killing our heroes. WE are ready to Be a part OF, not apart FROM, Put Talk Into Action, and conquer the world of PTSD and suicide of our service people. WE are all about making relationships and being the communication that others sometimes let slip by. It’s about those who served, and we are here now to serve them. If WE can be of help, WE are here for you or anyone you know who might need someone to listen and care. I trust Bob’s words, People Don’t Want to Die, They Just Don’t Know How to Live, and sometimes all it takes is an ear to listen and a shoulder to lean on to start the healing conversation. Our music artist is a brand new friend that was brought to us by Clayton Quisenberry, who has spoiled us with amazing artists. Chazz Wesley is a man of words, and they hit deep. Chazz first shares his song, Twenty-Two, with the message being what it would be if those who went by suicide could come back. Episode 143: “Soldier on All Fours, meet Rosso” - 26 March 2023 WGY6@6 - Patriot Playtime
We Got Your 6@6 Episode 143: This week’s We Got Your 6@6 has such a message in so many ways. We are graced by the presence of our guest, Jason Johnson and his mission, Project K9 Hero. Jason advocates for every Soldier on All Fours. He will take us through the steps he has taken to care for the K9 partners, those dogs who give their hearts and souls to protect their handlers and the community. Jason has done much more than advocate, he has a place to care for these workers after they are retired, and some even get to be adopted out.
Our music on this episode brings incredible music from Cody Howell. Strangely, Cody and Jason have a connection, with music and with a Soldier on All Fours. We first listened to his song, “Anyway You Go”, which will have you tapping your toes and singing along. The next song he shared will quickly catch your attention and capture your heart. Cody’s song “Saddle Up” comes straight to the heart, with the message that you can tell someone to saddle up and ride off, but just not tonight. Cody has some amazing talent, and he is working on moving forward with his music.
On 02 April, We Got Your 6@6 Patriot Playtime will feature guest, Pamela McCarthy. She will share her many reaches into the struggling military world and how she supports those. Our musicians will be Lake and Lyndale, who come from Minnesota but are now reaching for their stars in Nashville.

Episode 133: “Hitting the Ground” - 15 January 2023 WGY6@6 - Patriot Playtime
We Got Your 6@6 Episode 133: Tonight’s episode will feature two amazing new guests. While out Hitting the Ground, we have had the fortunate opportunity to meet with members of Wounded Warriors Guide Service right here in Minnesota. Caleb Huss, one of the hunting trip planners, and brand new Vice President of WWGS. Caleb is an Army veteran, and after his own experience has decided that he has a passion for helping other wounded veterans. WWGS uses their hunting and fishing experiences to take small groups of veterans to remote places for fun and activities, but the bonding and camaraderie is the main focus, as that is often where the healing begins.
Our stunning music artist tonight is David Allen Stone. David is still active in the Army, and being a leader looks good on him! So far David is eighteen years in, and still loves his job. David re-found his passion for music after joining the service. He was able to spend some time learning music and instruments, and songwriting comes with the package. It was when he lost a dear military friend to suicide that he wrote his song “Bury These Burdens”. This song is in a Country Network competition at the moment. David is Hitting the Ground running with his musical talent, and is hoping to share everywhere. Saving one life or hundreds makes all of the work worth it.
On 22 January, We Got Your 6@6 Patriot Playtime will feature guest Earl Granville and music artist and entertainer Clayton Q. These guys will make your world a better place, just by knowing who they are. Please make time to stop in and give it a listen!
