This week we bring a group of patriots to the show! We have Mr. David Ogden with Patriot Dads Fitness and he shares his story about health and how to make changes in your life for the better. David Ogden joins us with Patriot Dads Fitness and shared his passion for fitness and health and his mission to help dads be the best they can be. It is not just physical, it is also the mental aspect of the health that affects the body.
Understand how simple it is - the ability to do something consistently and well - make it simple and create habits
Working on? #1 thing - creating help and support for others by keeping it simple - work on just one thing at a time
Work on the small things first, when you get that right, then you can start with more and bigger. Ex: work on doing the right breakfast every day, after a few weeks you can work on getting rid of the bedtime snack
“Make it convenient, keep it simple” -
Jonathan: Last night we had some music from Die Tired, and band new to us, and one that leaves us wondering why we have not heard from them before!

This show shares music from J Marc Bailey. He shared the story behind his first song of the night, which was Unbroken. This song is his life’s story. It was written after going through some tough times. Basically, all the doubters and haters can kiss my butt, I’m going to remain unbroken. His second song was a good one. I Can’t Stop You reminded me of a saying you sometimes hear, If you love ‘em, let ‘em go. You have to learn when to recognize when you are outgrowing people and make sure you’re not letting them hold you back. Sometimes you have to cut the fluff as the mission statement says. This applies to relationships and friendships and everything in between. His last song was Deepest Blue and it was a song about being in a bad place after a breakup.

Last night we had the amazingly talented Mr. Derek Stoner on We Got Your 6@ 6 . He shared some songs that were full of life experience and raw emotion. Break The Chains was the first song he shared and it was about trying to figure it all out. You get to a point where you realize everything has changed and you need to break the chains of the past and move forward with your future. The second song he shared with us was Will To Survive. This was about going through the struggles of life and all you need to do is find the will to survive. He drew from his military experience and says that you’ve already, hopefully, done the most traumatic thing you’ll do in life. Now you just have to keep your will to survive and life will handle the rest. I like to say all you gotta do is live. The last song that he shared with us was Bad Decisions. He wrote this song with his wife. We all go through that part in life where we’ve strung together some bad decisions. This was about quitting the bad decision-making and moving forward with life. Good choices lead to more good choices. Spotify Link for Derek Stoner is: https://open.spotify.com/artist/3uI24YS8vNA8fysZfb1Y2F?si=USjnDESuQISSlI8cRehj7g

Yesterday we had an incredible new guest on our show, James Adrian. James brings us some hip hop music, and shares the background to his songs. What inspires some of his music is what has happened in his world and brings out the savvy in the music that he has shared with us. His new Album is called Brain Waves. His first song was titled Wings. There was a line in the song that says, “I don’t know what this is supposed to mean, I just hope it fixes broken dreams” and I absolutely love that. Sometimes, you don’t have to know the end game to produce the product. Whoever it’s meant for will get it. His second song was called Worse and it was written for his father and dedicated to him, as well. The vocalist in the song is Miss Catherine Grace. Unfortunately, his father passed before he got the chance to hear it. May he Rest In Peace Mr. Michael Miller. There was a line in this song that talked about teaching your kids so that they don’t have to walk a mile in your shoes and that hit home for me. His last song of the night was called Nothing and it is about losing so many of your friends and family that there’s no more emotion attached to it. You feel nothing. James said he wanted to tell a story in his lyrics and his lyrics definitely do that.

Mark: 09 July 2023: Brian Romans - Romans Warrior Foundation - was here with us last night, and he has so much going on. Right now he is on the road with his Stop22 Tour - The GWOT - Great Wall of Terror - , running through so many states and doing what he does. Brian was on the road as we were talking, and he will be back up and running today!
Jonathan: Gabriel Wren with Trinity Films and Chair 55 was our guest for fun and music last night. He never disappoints, and last night was not disappointing. Gabe loves the old, the real, country music and he shared his passion on the show. Give Me Back My Country was a song he got to put a video together for. It’s a great song about how we need to get back to what the Founding Fathers intended for this country. Next we asked Gabe to play his best song and he chose Ain’t No Looking Back which is a song that I believe he co-wrote with Dave Gibson of the Gibson/Miller Band. Lastly, Gabe chose a song from the archives of a country music legend in Mr. Hank Williams Sr. Lost Highway was the final song of the night and Gabe said that he loved classic country music because.
“If you don’t know where music came from, you don’t know where it's going.”

Episode 159: “Ride the Highs of Life” - 16 July 2023 WGY6@6 - Patriot Playtime
In this episode, we will discuss a lot about life, but the best is the agreement to Ride the Highs of Life. This episode features an exciting guest as we visit with veteran and musician Blake Luquette, who was brought on board by our very own Jonathan (Bourbon Battle Buddies) “J-Train” Crochet. Blake hails from the area of southern Louisiana and has stories to tell and love to share. His music is born of his life experiences, but not all relates to his service. Blake starts us out with the song, ‘Whoever Made Those Rules’ and then shares ‘Pour the Hurt On’. Blake finishes the night out by sharing his song, ' Country Song’.

16 July 2023: Jenn Ford was on to support Rodney Douglas Norman, but unfortunately he was unable to make the show. So Jenn Ford took over and carried the comedian spirit for the show last night. She was wearing a shirt that kind of gave us a little insight to the man Rodney Douglas Norman. The shirt read, “Enjoy your stupid life.”
Blake Luquette graced us with his talented voice. He is from South Louisiana and man this guy is loaded with talent. His first song was Whoever Made Those Rules and let me tell you that you’ll want to dance to this one. His second song was Pour The Hurt On. His friend had some music that they were listening to and as they went through and this song came on Blake knew he had to record it. Country Song was the last song of the night. He wrote this a few years prior to recording it. He loves traditional country music, but mostly he loves instruments from traditional country music. This song was a perfect ode to some great traditional country music.

We Got Your 6@6 Episode 160: On July 23, We Got Your 6@6 Patriot Playtime will share a musician new to the gang. This week we welcome James Adrian - and his will share his story and music with us. Lo Becker Band was our guest and musician last night…Lo Becker did all his music live last night, which adds a great personal touch. His first song was titled Do It Again. The message was if you could do it all again, would you? Live life with no regrets. Even when things don’t go as planned you can still learn a valuable lesson. Song 2 was titled Thank ‘em. Thank ‘em for their service. Thank a veteran, first responder and as Mark brought up, Thank the Flag for always being there giving something to be proud of. Thank ‘em was actually the first song Lo had ever written. A fitting beginning to a budding veteran career in songwriting and music. His final song of the night was a treat. A song that hasn’t been released anywhere yet. It is titled Riding High and it is about keeping your head up and keep pushing forward. Never give up and never slow down. Just get back up get in the saddle and keep Riding High. You can find Lo Becker’s music here on spotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/3x5OpgYtXuqElZ7SUMcU4Q?si=X0yF6OrMRQCVs_AgLLIBXQ

He stopped in at our event in Coppell TX, and it was cool to meet him :) He has a passion for serving and went back to the Marines after being off for some time.
Rick Brown and the Lonestar Bootleggers brought us his music last night. The first song is about when he was in the military and he was wishing he was back in Texas. It is aptly titled, Take Me Back To Texas. The second song he had for us last night was a new song that he hasn’t even recorded yet. It was called Longnecks and Honky Tonk Angels. We finished off the night with Drinking Man Blues which he said was a Honky Tonk bar room kind of song. This is a tribute to the Hank Williams + Merle Haggard era of country music.

02 July 2023 We Got Your 6@6 - Episode 157: “Thank’Em”
This episode features the amazing Lo Becker! He tells the story of his service and how it led to his music career. He is a fun storyteller and a truly genuine person. After sharing his beginnings, Lo starts us out with a song that is going up to Brian - “Do it Again”. This one will get you thinking about the choices you make and how it affects others. After more banter and conversation, Lo shares that he was also a correctional officer, and that makes him fit our full mission for veterans and first responders. The next song that Lo shares is the first song that he wrote- “Thank ‘Em”. He was reflecting on vets and his friends and how his life has gone when he wrote this one. Lo finished up with the last song, “Riding High”, which is an exceptionally positive song.
The People’s Patriot Project exists to be the shock and awe when combating the deadly and invisible enemy that is killing our heroes. We will move forward with our boots on and ready to serve those who have served. WE are ready to Be a part OF, not apart FROM, and WE will conquer the world of PTSD and suicide of our service people. An example was shared tonight as our artist, Lo Becker shared his song called “Thank ‘Em”. Our guests inspire our listeners to continue the mission they need to better themselves every day and to move forward in helping, supporting and empowering those who are still with us and remembering those who are not. We Got Your 6@6 - Episode 156 - Just Remember WHY You Have That Right
When you just remember why you have that right to listen to what you want to hear, please think of us, The People’s Patriot Project, on We Got Your 6@6. This week’s show has an incredible message, and most of it starts with loving what you did or what you can do for your country. Our night starts off with awesome discussions between our guests and the three of us. Jamie Bunetto, who was in the Marines, and loved his service so much that he went back in after 911, when he thought he was done. Jamie shares about his service and what he is up to now, living near Dallas and moving into a new world of investigations.
Rick Brown is our music guest today and we are excited to learn more about him. He was in the Navy - and wanted to be on the ground and working on SEAL things. He got to travel to places most of us don’t even dream about. He has been able to follow his music desires, and shares not only the songs, but the stories behind them. Listen to “Take Me Back to Texas”, “Long Necks and Honky Tonk Angels”, and “Drinking Man Blues”. Rick is very passionate about what he did and accomplished in the service, and he wants everyone to just remember why you have that right.
On July 2, We Got Your 6@6 Patriot Playtime will feature an exciting guest Michael John and musician, Lo Becker.
Our guests inspire our listeners to continue the mission they need to better themselves every day and to move forward in helping, supporting and empowering those who are still with us and remembering those who are not. If you ever question why some people act the way they do, and you want to tell them how you feel about it, just remember WHY you have that right, and keep in mind that they also have that right. If you want to help out, please get in touch with us and we will get the information to you. #communityheroes #NeverForget #beapartofandnotapartfrom #PatriotPride #StickingTruetoourMissions

Weekly Patriot Debrief 19 June 2023
Debrief is here to let you know what WE have been up to the past weeks, as well as share what others are doing to help the cause.
WE KNOW WHY WE GET TO DO THIS... THANK YOU TO THE SERVICE MEMBERS AND FIRST RESPONDERS THAT HAVE COMMITTED THEIR TIME, SWEAT, BLOOD, LIMBS, FAMILY and LIFE... TO GIVE US THE FREEDOMS THAT WE HAVE THAT ALLOWS US TO WHAT WE DO DAILY.
18 June 2023: We had an amazing cast of guests on the show last night. Starting off with Mr. Scott McEwen, and he shared his efforts and experiences with Chris Kyle as a friend and as a subject for his novel, “American Sniper”. What an amazing conversation this was and Scott’s perspective and approach to this story… took us by surprise and it gives yet one more reason to celebrate his work.

Jonathan: Jamey and Rebecca Bagwell joined us as well last night, and they have an awesome story to tell. As newlyweds, they are embarking on an endeavor to build and create an event center on their new property. This will be taking place at the end of July, and they seem to be having a great time getting it ready.
Song 1: Our Resolution - Jamey refers to this as his “gritty Patriotic Song”
Song 2: Not Really - Jerry Foster actually picked this one up and recorded it. They got to play it on stage in Shreveport …
Song 3: Thats Why I Wanna Go - Jamey and Rebecca have a very strong faith and they like to put that faith into words many times at the end of their shows… and close with this one quite often

We Got Your 6@6 - Episode 155 - “Calling all Fathers” - 18 June 2023
It is 18, June 2023 and we have some amazing guests to share with you this week! This week we have Mr. Scott McEwen with us to talk about his amazing book and hopefully even more about his talents. We are also joined here by Jamey and Rebecca Bagwell, who will be sharing their stories and their music… This is going to be an amazing show!! I would love to wish all you dads out there a very Happy Fathers Day - thank you for being you! Stay tuned and keep your ears open for some amazing conversations and please call out questions if you have them.
We need to have a Calling all Fathers moment to thank all those dad out there doing their deal! We have Mr. Scott McEwen starting us out. Scott answers some very deep questions about his relationship with Chris Kyle. They were friends and coworkers before they dreamed of putting “Amerian Sniper” into words to fill a novel. Scott was able to share how deeply affected he was by Chris’s life, and how he worked through so much to come back home. The best part is that he does not focus on his role or how important Chris Kyle was, but instead he focus’ on the importance of the ‘band of brothers and sisters’ are in the military and especially in the face of the enemy.
Our music for the evening was presented by Jamey and Rebecca Bagwell. The Bagwells are newlyweds, and have a talent for writing and singing that has bonded them in so many ways. The connection has brought them to a new house that will have a space to entertain their talents and those of others. They will have a grand opening in July to share all of their ideas and other veteran music and comedy. They are definitely a couple to keep an eye on!

We Got Your 6@6 - Episode 154, June 11, 2023 “Piggy Back on That”
After an “alleged” cancellation, we hop on with our new friend, Brandon Johnston, OFP Comedia, who will charm you with his antics. I made an announcement that there might be someone special dropping in later, and that special guest actually became our scheduled guest, Jason Steiner, will Piggy Back on That to share his upcoming event, HEROSTOCK. Listen in while we banter with our guests and share stories of the truths of those who have served and continue to do so with their nonprofit organizations and their talents.
After some silliness and seriousness, WeP3 shared music from two of our former guests. Cody Howell starts us off with his awesome song, Saddle Up. This is a song that will make you think, while you can sit back and enjoy the music.
The next song is from another fairly new friend, JayP, and he shares his “Ride Into the Sun” release, which really shows his versatility with music and his voice.
To Piggy Back on That, Lake aned Lyndale’s song, Long Way Home, is our finisher. We loved having them on the show, and their music rocks!!!

We Got Your 6@6 - Episode 153, June 4, 2023 "Not Just Any Old Replacements”
Michael Madsen with Foxhole Internet Radio is here to inform and entertain. Michael is here to let you know about the world of internet radio and how it will work for our veteran and first responder musicians and bands. Michael is aggressively changing the world one radio station at a time. There is no such thing as Not Just Any Old Replacement in his world.
After some discussion about AI and WeP3 Radio, we dive into our music for the show. We last-minute had asked Tim Newton to come on in and share his new music and talk about what is in his near future for the band. Luckily, because they are Not Just Any Old Replacements, he was able to bring along some band members. Justin Silkwood and Derek Dankenbring joined the group and we talked about old times with fun and new times in the plans. Tim explained Man in Nashville, the first song we listened to, as describing the way he felt when he was putting his music out there. He said he felt as if most music sounds the same right now and he just wanted to do his thing and be different from everyone else. Be yourself and just be good at being that. Missouri Throwdown is next and this song was him showcasing what he felt like they were all about in Missouri. Country Girl is a brand new release from the Tim Newton Band and it is a good one! PATRIOT Weekly Debrief 22 May 2023
WE get to do what WE do because of you. This week is all about connections. WE have known Jenn Ford for a minute... She has some amazing news and new releases and she connected us to her promotion team. BJ Mezek is no rookie to the music world and he is also deep into the movie production industry. BJ has so many aspects and is involved in so many things that it is hard to keep up! The man has been in over 60 movies, and he has supported and helped produce some amazing shows, videos and documentaries. Mr. Mezek has a friend that is a motivational speaker and he is bringing Mrs. Beatrice Bruno who created Drill Sergeant of Life.
Beatrice Bruno is a truly amazing woman. Strong … determined … survivor … and she is still rolling today. Beatrice was a drill sergeant, an MST survivor, a preacher and is now traveling around and speaking as a motivational speaker. Her words are the most striking….
Friends of friends of friends... that is how WE do it.
Jenn Ford's song of the night was Little Wing. This song is about celebrating the femininity of women. It’s a great tribute to her late grandmother, Mary, who most certainly would be proud of her granddaughter. The last song of the night was a tribute to George Micheal Todd, Jr., who unfortunately passed away. He got his nickname “Doc” from serving as a Corpsman with 2nd Battalion, 8th Marines Infantry Unit at Camp Lejeune. His passion was saving lives, whether it was in a combat zone, or recording music about Veteran’s mental health. One of those very songs would close out our show last night - Brother’s Keepers by Doc Todd.

Jonathan:
Last night we had Jim Anthony. First song shared: True American Hero- This song was about a Marine friend that ended up losing their battle with PTSD. Second song from Jim - This Time- This song was written at a time in his life when he was going through some difficult times and it was his message to himself to get his head on straight and keep it there. Let’s go for a Drive is the third song for the evening. This song was just about being content about your place in life and just going for a drive.
The name of his new album is called Here To Stay. We also talked a little about a new song he’s written called It’s Not Me It’s You. It’s a sequel to True American Hero
