How to MAX the Standing Power Throw (SPT) | Max the ACFT
The Standing Power Throw (SPT) event represents tasks requiring quick explosive movements to maneuver equipment and personnel. It is the second event that Soldiers take during the Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT). To MAX it (because that ALL we care about!) the Soldier must throw the ball at least 12.5 meters behind them on the first bounce.
After working through all the kinks and putting everything into practice myself, I've finally cracked the code. These are the hacks to MAX the SPT event, and also some alternate exercises that will absolutely help you develop the muscles required for solid, explosive movement, and also to help you find your momentum to help you toss the ball further!

Maximum Deadlift (MDL) | Hacks to MAX the ACFT
"The Maximum Deadlift (MDL) event represents movements required to safely and effectively lift heavy loads from the ground, jump, bound and tolerate landing. It requires well-conditioned back and leg muscles and helps Soldiers to avoid upper and lower back injuries caused by moving long distances under heavy load." (army.mil)
This exercise can be tough to master, but not impossible. Here, I go over all the tips. tricks, and HACKs to MAX the deadlift event. Many will be things you may not have considered in the past, so make sure to pay attention, watch the entire video, and implement all of these hacks as you continue your training towards maxing the Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT)!

How to Increase Your Pull-Ups FAST | Military Fitness
Increase your pullups! These methods are the same methods I've used to train to get up to 25+ SOLID pullups without leaving the bar. You can get there too! Make sure to pay attention to each technique, even the ones that seem easy for you. They will ALL help you get better at improving your pullup strength. For the easier exercises, do burnout drill (high rep count). For the harder ones, focus on form with lower rep ranges but higher sets, and definitely everyone should be integrating negatives to their routine, regardless of your current skill-level!

Kettle Bell Snatch - POWER and STABILITY
The Kettlebell Snatch Is great for strength, stability, and power.
Make sure when you do this exercise that you use the momentum of the motion to drive the KB bell upwards and over, controlling the weight as it flys up. The KB should be moving straight up from the ground, following a straight line all the way to the top. 👍 💪
Start light, and once you’ve got the motion down, go heavier.
