Last, after Toes to Bar, I took advantage of the ambient warmth and ran through my mobility flow.
-
The idea here isn’t “stretching” per se. It’s to expose myself to the end ranges of various positions I may find myself in under load or while in motion doing something athletic so it’s not a potentially injurious surprise.

This flow addresses MY mobility needs, mostly in the shoulders and hips. Mobility requirements are both sports and individual specific so time spent doing arbitrary stretches may or may not be worth the ROI. A few minutes here or there of this simple series of movements every couple of days has kept me more than capable of doing most athletic activities to the full extent of my capacity uninjured. At least I’ve yet to suffer from any mobility constraints.

Mobility is important, but it’s more of an upkeep thing versus devoting entire training sessions to it unless that’s your thing. Like most of this stuff, a little bit, done consistently has a tremendous magnitude of effect.
