Then other group was introduced to the toy as having a name, making it somehow a person or something and after that they told to destroy it and many people had difficulty with it.

So what I think this experiment says is not that there is something special about that toy or that giving names and making them like a person, but that it tells about us, and that we like to treat other with dignity and respect, even if it is an inanimate object. And we do it even now.

So the issue is that if we create robots that look like humans and act like human we will threat them like humans and eventually that includes equal rights, I think.
