You likely heard the stories of the 10 plagues of Egypt (Ex 7-11) even if not a believer. Just like 'mystery Babylon', Egypt was on course doing most of the same work, pursuing gods, magic, world power. I believe that fallen angels were present in both Babylon and Egypt and are a key source for many of the inventions, science, creations. There are still mysteries about both of these places, how they were able to construct such things when we are supposed to believe they were 2 steps up from cave men according to evolution theories. Both Babylon and Egypt's dominance came to an end. The kings of Babylon at least paid homage to the true God of the universe, the king of Egypt did not and paid the price with his men in the Red Sea.

Revelation 16 mirror the plagues of Egypt and for the same cause. People's hearts will be hardened in the last days. God will seek to break them and get them to repent, turn back to Him. Some will but most will enter destruction due to their hardened hearts just like Pharaoh had.

Notice the intro to this movie says, "born with extraordinary abilities and yet still they are children stumbling in the dark searching for guidance. A gift can often be a curse, 'give someone wings and they may fly too close to the sun'. Give them the power of prophecy and they may live in fear of the future. Give them the greatest gift of all, powers beyond the imagination and they may think they're meant to rule the world"

Don't forget many of these movie scripts come from occultist communicating with demons/fallen angels (check about page for more). These words stated here in the intro are pretty powerful and they also stick with you. I think its telling that the saying here taints the view of prophecy in a negative way. It also taints the view that men/mutants are not supposed to rule the world yet it is God's command that we do so with His authority.

Genesis 1:28
And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

In the same thought of ruling the world from a spiritual standpoint, Jesus states in Mt 28:18-20, "18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
