Analysis of song and message
stealing love means - to capture someone's affections; to cause someone to fall in love with oneself. God is a jealous God, the only God, he wants us to love Him. God loved us so much He sent His Son to die for us (Jn 3:16). Not looking for a brighter side meaning - no where to go but up, no solution for sin was on earth, only in heaven thru Jesus Christ. This song talks about struggle, talks about our savior, expresses the utterly weak attempts we make at following Him just like children, even disabled children. Yet he uses our steps to Him, He accepts us, we struggle with sin, we believe in Christ, we follow Him the best we can. Christ had a mission on earth to be the sacrifice/propitiation for our sins, our mission as believers is to follow in his footsteps thru this short life we live.
