Drone view of the stadium where only wolves and deers are training
Enjoy a flight over the abandoned SEGAS stadium in Parnitha, Athens, Greece at 1000 meters altitude. Wolves and deer are now "training" in this once noisy stadium, as evidenced by the traces that exist in the muddy tartan.
Destroyed by the forest fires of 2007 and forgotten, at an altitude of 1,048 meters, the SEGAS stadium was a real gem. It had no lighting, no concrete construction, it "connected" with the environment. The fires of 2007 burned almost everything in their path, destroyed the facilities around the track that is still in excellent condition (the tartan has been damaged in a few places along the way) and all you can find are ashes and debris. Even the small road in front of the stadium is in a "tragic" state.
If you want to workout in the fresh air, peeps and some proud trees still standing, SEGAS stadium is a great choice. It is, after all, close to Athens.
Going up Parnithos Avenue, you will find the old Sanatorium and the Park of Souls. Leave the car there and walk about 15 minutes on the road that passes in front of the Sanatorium and you will find the SEGAS stadium on your left.
Enjoy the flight!

"Sourza Bout": Dive into the endless blue of the Aegean Sea, just 2 hours from Athens
If you listened to "Surza Bout" we would think that it is some ... slogan or some mocking phrase. Surely your mind would not go to the fact that it is a beach in South Evia, very close to the village of Zarakes Evia (coordinates at the end of the text), made for ... shipwrecks and rubinsons.
So we fly over the "Surza Booth" (ie fine sand in Arvanitika) which justifies its name, as these are two coves that are joined by fine sand, which ends in a high dune.
To its right there is a large cave that can accommodate at least 30 people and offers deep shade throughout the day.
To the left there are some rocks that create a small pool, where the water is always calm and the sand thick and very soft.
On the east side there is a third beach with beautiful color, but stony.
To access the beach requires 2 hours drive from Athens to Zarakon Beach and then for access to Surza Bout there are 3 options:
A) By boat (3 minutes distance) from Zarakon Beach.
B) On foot (800 meters walking). To the right of Zarakon Beach starts a path that reaches the beach (attention: there is a small difficult part - a steep descent to the end of the route).
C) By canoe from Zarakon Beach.

Beach in Crete, Greece is impossible to keep clean
Crete island in Greece is famous for its incredibly beautiful beaches. But there is also a place in Crete where things are not like that. Analoukas Beach in Lasithi is one of the most typical examples of a beach, where vast quantities of garbage - mainly plastic - that travel the Aegean Sea are drawn by the wind and strong sea currents and end up in this location. At times there have been many cleaning efforts (the latter at the end of 2017 by WWF), but the beach is again more dirty than ever, as if it were the dump of the Aegean Sea.

Drone captures the village which has only luxury hotels instead of houses
Enjoy a flight over the village of Greece which instead of houses has only ... luxury hotels. Kolymbia Rhodes as they are called, they were built by the Italians as a model agricultural village but today are a popular destination which prefer thousands of tourists during the summer season.
The image from above is impressive as the hotels are located next to each other, with luxurious pools (many have private pools for each room) and huge green spaces and golf courses.
Kolymbia, from a rural village 50 years ago, became the "village hotels of Greece", a "must" destination for tourists (Greek or not) who want to spend their holidays like ... kings.
Indicative is the fact that in Rhodes (and probably in this region) will be constructred the first six-star hotel in Greece)!
