Drone view of the stadium where only wolves and deers are training

Enjoy a flight over the abandoned SEGAS stadium in Parnitha, Athens, Greece at 1000 meters altitude. Wolves and deer are now "training" in this once noisy stadium, as evidenced by the traces that exist in the muddy tartan.
Destroyed by the forest fires of 2007 and forgotten, at an altitude of 1,048 meters, the SEGAS stadium was a real gem. It had no lighting, no concrete construction, it "connected" with the environment. The fires of 2007 burned almost everything in their path, destroyed the facilities around the track that is still in excellent condition (the tartan has been damaged in a few places along the way) and all you can find are ashes and debris. Even the small road in front of the stadium is in a "tragic" state.
If you want to workout in the fresh air, peeps and some proud trees still standing, SEGAS stadium is a great choice. It is, after all, close to Athens.
Going up Parnithos Avenue, you will find the old Sanatorium and the Park of Souls. Leave the car there and walk about 15 minutes on the road that passes in front of the Sanatorium and you will find the SEGAS stadium on your left.
Enjoy the flight!
