French Bulldog attempts to create snowball
Sanka the French Bulldog is only 9 months old and a very energetic playful puppy still. He has yet to experience any snow fall here in Scotland. Until however, that was this morning. Scotland have been preparing for 'The Beast from the East' snow storm and he has definitely delivered on this chilly morning! Throwing a very cold wind up from Russia just as the weatherman promised, Scotland has been hit by the freezing cold temperatures and snow as predicted. With more on the way! Poor Sanka left his favourite toy ball outside, he just can’t help himself when he sees this ball, he has to play with it regardless what time of day it is! Watch as he is confused with all the snow attached to the ball, the snow gets stuck in the small spikes of it. Sanka wonders if he will be able to over come the problem. It looks as though he is starting to create a small snowball as he rolls the ball around in the snow covered ground covering it in more snow. He struggles to manoeuvre around the ball as he continues to try and roll the ball free from all of the cold snow. I think that next time, Sanka will not be taking his ball out into the back garden when it is snowing, it will remain in the house to save any future confusion. I don't think Sanka likes his first experience in snow, when he first ran out, his paws were slowly lifting and shaking from the ground as if to say, come pick me up and bring me back in! He was not amused by the wet icy feeling on his soft paws. Let's hope that there is no more snow fall for Sanka and his toy balls sake!

Dogs refuse to pee in garden
Enkei the Pug who is 18 months old and Sanka the French Bulldog who is only 10 months old are definitely not happy with the sudden change in the weather, and their breeds are not built for the snow. As the weatherman promised us, here in Scotland, we have been hit with the Beast from the East storm. Which has brought chilling winds from Russia and heavy snow has hit the majority of the UK, now with a red amber weather warning across Fife and Edinburgh. For Sanka, this is the first time he has ever seen snow and it hasn’t went down well. Enkei however has seen snow and already decided it was not for him. I can imagine there were many dogs waking up this morning, to go for their morning widdle, and refusing to go out. On this occasion, Enkei and Sanka are with them and they were that hell bound on not going too far into the snow and cold, that they decided they would both take turns to pee on the door step, dirty dogs!!!!! I imagine there are also many dogs who thrive in the snow and can’t wait to be out in it and play, but unfortunately, for these small pampered pooches, they couldn’t think of anything worse than going out into the back garden covered in snow and can’t wait to get their little wet feet back in the cosy warm carpet. We are hoping not to have much more snow, or I dread to think what the next steps will be for the dogs to avoid going into the garden to do the toilet! I was quite shocked to see they were that reluctant to go into the back garden that they would actually do the toilet on the door step. Silly boys!

Clever Puppy tricks Pug
Sanka was only 16 weeks old in this video and Enkei was just over one year old. They are just the best of friends, and brothers too I guess! We call them brothers from another mother. Sanka is so sneaky and always has been, watch as he is eyeing up Enkei whilst he relaxes watching tv, Enkei isn't giving anything away. Sanka looks up to the window, as if to say there is something that has caught his attention and knows that Enkei will also look, as Enkei is really nosey. As Enkei does take a look to see what is there, watch Sanka glance back at Enkei to make sure his trick worked, and when he realises his trick has indeed worked, he uses his moment and grasps it with two paws! He pounces on Enkei and uses his opportunity to get one up on him. Enkei doesn't know what's going on as Sanka lunges at him... Poor Enkei, he is always being outsmarted by Sanka! Sanka is definitely the boss in this house hold, he rules the roost! Enkei has learned to deal with Sankas silly antics, after all, he is still a baby! Enkei doesn't always give in to Sanka, but majority of the time he does let him win.

Confused pug spectates tug of war match
Enkei the Pug is almost 2 years old is normally a fan of getting involved and playing games with other dogs and sharing his toys however, not on this occasion. Luna the Black and Tan Frenchie who is 7 months old and Nala who is a one and a half years old Pug was round to visit Enkei and Sanka at their house and they found themselves all wanting to play with the same toy. Which of course, caused some frustration.
Watch Luna, Sanka and Nala as they race around the living room playing tug of war with the toy, pulling it back and forth. As Enkei walks around them whilst they play. Enkei looks slightly confused as to where he comes into it, and if he should or not or should he join? Enkei is hilarious the way he just spectates and almost acts as a referee in the tug of war match between the three other dogs. None of the dogs bother by Enkei watching them and circling them, I don't even think they notice or care. However, Enkei is certainly one lazy dog when it comes to playing with other dogs and toys!

Pug befriends visitor and won't move
Enkei the pug loves getting visitors round to the house, and he always has to become the best of friends with them, to the point that he makes them feel guilty about even contemplating leaving. Enkei gets really excited when people first come in the house, he won't leave them alone, he follows them wherever they go in the house, and will not give up until he gets some kisses and cuddles. He literally chucks himself into their arms! He also jumps up and steals some kisses whilst they take their shoes off. Any opprtunity for some attention Enkei is there! Enkei likes to sit on peoples feet which is a strange habit. He carefully places himself so that they can see him sitting there at the bottom of the couch, he stares at them until they reach down to give him a pet, when they do, he tends to lift his legs and relax against them so that he spins and lies on his back, perfect for a belly rub, how are you meant to say no to a cute pug after all? After a while of belly rubbing, he likes to make himself comfy on their feet resting his little head down and then receive a head and ear massage if he's lucky, like in this clip, he loves nothing more. It really relaxes him and sends him straight to sleep, he will chill like this all night if you let him. I think there is method in his madness as then our house guests usually feel guilty about leaving as it means they have to disturb his sleep, he is a clever little Pug! His ears are soft like velvet to touch..... this always helps his case!

Neighbours cat taunts dogs through fence
Enkei and Sanka just recently moved to their new house, and what they didn’t expect, was an annoying next door neighbours cat! This little cat has plenty of courage as it stands up towards the fence to look and check out the dogs…. The cat regularly is caught in our garden, but makes a quick escape when the boys go into the garden and instead it likes to tease them through the gate when they are outside. Sanka is especially angry about the cat situation, hopefully they never come face to face. Sanka likes to regularly bark at the cats, including this little one through the living room window and he purposely looks out for it.
I don't think there would be much playing if the cat came over, I reckon the boys wouldn't be able to keep up with the cat. Best it stays over the neighbours garden! Enkei and Sanka don't have much cat experience, so I think their barking and nervousness comes from not actually knowing what the cat is, Sanka especially is not keen when he see's the cats and would much rather chase them to try and see what is what. Enkei on the other hand mainly only barks and causes a scene because Sanka is.

Dog requires help to retrieve favorite toy
Sanka the French Bulldog is 11 months old and still full of that hyper active puppy energy! Since Nicola and Damon brought him home at only 8 weeks old he has loved to play and is constantly at them, annoying them to play with him. Sanka loves to play fetch with soft toys, this is one of his all time favorite things to do. At first, he didn't quite get the aspect of fetch, and would chase the ball, but would never bring it back once he had retrieved it. Then when he did bring it back, he would not let go of the ball. Silly Sanka!
Sanka has got into doing this new thing, where he has his ball after fetching it, then he purposely looses it so that he has to beg for attention to retrieve the ball. Nicola was watching the television trying to relax after a long day at work when all of a sudden Sanka starts barking out for attention, you can see that he is pointing towards the back of the couch trying to direct Nicola to what he wants. He then jumps up to the back of the couch, as if to show Nicola where he has lost it.
Nicola goes over to investigate and realises that there are a number of toys hidden behind the couch. At first, there is a soft blue patterned ball which is usually Sankas favorite, this is brought out given to Sanka and he just looks at it as if to say, that's not what I want. Nicola goes back behind the couch for a further investigation, and there it is! The little yellow tennis ball, an old time favorite of Sankas. Once Nicola reveals this from behind the couch and gives it to Sanka he immediately comes down from the back of the couch and peace is restored. Nicola can continue watching her programmes!

Pug snuggles in comfy blanket
Enkei the pug is coming up for 2 years old and loves nothing more than his home comforts. He is one pampered pooch and is always behaving like a real baby. He loves to be cosy whilst sleeping in the house, and enjoys being wrapped up like a tortilla wrap in a warm cosy fluffy blanket. He just adores this! Watch as he is petted, and struggles to stay awake, he even struggles to get a yawn out mid video!
Enkei is a really loving dogs and sleeps with his owners in their bed each and every night, he has done since he arrived home at only 8 weeks old. Enkei loves to be warm and in the house, especially when it's so cold and snowy outside here in Scotland. He is just adorable, you can hardly see him for all the blanket is so closely tucked in around his body leaving only his little head on show, just how he prefers it! I think Enkei acts more like a human than a dog, I think that's because he is treated and led to believe he is a human, he certainly is part of the family! This video is certain to make you feel sleepy and yawn, as you watch Enkei struggle to stay awake... it definitely is a dogs life!

Excited dogs greet guests to house
Enkei the pug is two years old and Sanka the French bulldog is only 11 months, still a puppy! Enkei and Sanka both absolutely love visitors coming round to see them in their new house, they like to greet them with a friendly bark. Nicola tends to tell them they are getting visitors and immediately they know something is going on and start to get excited, looking around and waiting for them to arrive. At the start of the video Enkei is just patiently staring at Nicola wondering what is going on and who will arrive and when. Then all of a sudden Enkei hears the door open and he immediately turns without any hesitation and runs towards the door. The suspense of who is about to come through the door is too much for him! His tail is hilarious the way it goes straight as opposed to curly when he hears something interesting! Both Sanka and Enkei run to the door to greet the visitors, little do they know it's their favourite gran and grandad who have came down to see them and they both jump for joy! Sanka cannot contain his excitement as he goes from couch to floor, back to couch and jumping up to try and get attention from both of them. You don't get a minute when you arrive at this house, and you will definitely always be greeted with a warm smile from the dogs and a friendly kiss on the face (if they can reach), whether you want one or not! Enkei always picks up a bone or something to carry, it's like he likes to present his visitors with a gift... it's rather sweet! Where as Sanka just likes to jump in with all four paws and launch himself however he can so they cannot avoid him.

Pug and Bulldog share yogurt lid
Enkei the Pug and Sanka the French Bulldog share this yummy yogurt lid given to them by their owners! The boys love any sort of treat, especially a food related treat.
Watch how fast Sanka goes with his tongue to try and take as much as he can before Enkei does, Enkei is still fast, but not as. Watch the slow motion part as it captures the moment it goes all over both of their cute little faces, for them to them lick their lips! Very cute

Adorable dogs snuggle in favorite blanket
Enkei the pug is two years old and Sanka the french bulldog is only 11 months old. They are the sweetest and closest of dogs and have been since day one. Enkei and Sanka get on really great and spend every waking minute together, they play together, eat at the same time, go in the garden at the same time, anything one is doing, the other must do at the exact same time. They are almost like twins in a way.
Enkei and Sanka love nothing more than playing and running about crazy, but after a long day, they love to snuggle up and stay cosy in their favorite soft blanket on their comfy couch! They take up quite a lot of room for two small dogs. It's adorable the way that Sanka has his arm and leg over Enkei as if he is actually cuddling him, it's just adorable! They are really loving little dogs and they certainly do love each other as you can see in this video. At night the boys cuddle in together in their owners bed, but through the evening they set up camp on the comfy couch and just lay there the whole time without moving, until it's bed time. They are lazy, pampered pooches!

Can this Pug resist the ball?
Enkei the Pug is fast approaching 2 years old and was only a couple of months old in this video. Here we are testing his patience and will power with one of his all time favourite puppy toys. These Kong balls were a perfect size for Enkeis tiny puppy mouth, he would run around and chase them for hours on end. We took Enkei to puppy training classes when he was really young, and we were taught to teach 'leave' and 'no' so that if you are ever out and about on walks and there was something that the dog would try eat that might not be good for them, leave or no command would save this hassle.
The same goes for toys! They were meant to be able to resist toys when told. Watch as we offer the ball to Enkei, realise that his training has paid off and then we decide to test how far his will power can stretch by offering the ball closer and closer to his mouth. He manages to resist so for long, he even looks like he is going to take it, then backs off again. But in the end.... can he really resist fully??

Cute baby says ‘hiya’ for the first time
Ada has been trying to babble for a while now, but most recently she’s been trying to greet herself when she sees her reflection. She adorably says ‘hiya’ as she then smiles at herself and reaches out to touch the camera! How sweet

Cat makes great floor duster catching laser
Since Amy was a tiny fluffy kitten she has been very very playful. Watch here as she demonstrates her eager efforts to catch the red laser pen on the floor. Amy will do anything to catch that laser, little does she know she will never be able to catch it! Some people joke that when you do this with Amy, she acts as a good floor duster or cleaner as she is so fluffy and her hair rags around the floor giving it a good going over. Amy is quite a fun cat to be around and she is always up to no good. She doesn't like human contact much so you will rarely find her on your knee or trying to get attention, she acts more like a dog sometimes too as she likes to play fetch, I think she copied this game from the dogs. Even if there is a reflection on a mirrored item from the sun, Amy will chase it. She also will go to extreme length when jumping to try and catch the laser! She is one funny fluffy cat.

Disappointed pug refuses to go out into snow
Frank the pug is not a fan of the cold! Watch this cute clip as he approached the door to go for his morning routine into the garden and do his business but suddenly as he see's all the snow covering the ground immediately regrets his decision and makes a B-line back into the house. Watch as he turns around and gives his owners the proper puppy eye look as if to say 'there is no chance I am going out in that' and he stands there waiting for a little for approval it seems. Frank is definitely not a fan of the cold winter snow here in England and I think that a lot of dogs will be with him on this. He is not a fan of his snow experience and it was a great effort to get him to go out at all in it. Frank loves to run around on the grass, when only when the white stuff isn't covering it!
