Can you imagine this person suffering from pain? Impossible unless he had a severe trauma or accident. Right?
Freddy is totally balanced and bifunctional.
The less balanced and functional you are, the more likely you will be in pain, you will exercise less as a result and the shorter your life span will be as simple as that.
You need to exercise to reduce sugar levels, lower your blood pressure and cholesterol
When you are not balanced your entire body is compromised, your sleep pattern, less oxygen, cycles and digestion are compromised
Don’t accept limitation.
Health is not the absence of pain it is the absence of limitation.
So let’s talk about Mustafa now.
As you can here, Mustafa has fallen arches and everted feet. This means that the soles are in permanent contraction.
Flat feet are nothing to laugh about and would have severely impacted on his fighting ability when competing for the ADCC world championship.
The sole comprised of short muscles, small bones, tendons and ligaments come in direct contact with the ground.
The foot has no shock absorbing capacity without the arch. It sends impact waves right up to the knees and beyond.
The mussels of the calf, knee, hip and lower back must take over to which they are not suited. This will change the gait and the foot strike.
The powerful hip and leg muscles will evert the feet turning the toes outward and the heel inwards sacrificing the heel / toe / gait pattern.

The first therapy you see Mustafa doing is called Scenar.
Scenar is Russia’s gift to the world to heal pain and inflammation.

The general presumption is that if damaged joints, bones and muscles appear to be the source of pain, then they are regarded as diseased.
However, the pain cannot be addressed by joint surgery or other site specific treatment as he did. Hence the pain keeps recurring.
Mustafa needs the right movement that will bring his knees back into their design function, then the pain will abate. Even cartilage can begin to grow back and you might not need the knee operation.

My wish is for you to have a long a healthy and fit life without chronic disease as you age.
I have had a 80 year old client who came to see me because he had pain in his hip, low back and severe shoulder pain.
He was a painter and had to use his left arm to prop up the right arm so he could paint.
After an intensive 8 weeks with me, he was able to stand again for prolonged period and could lift his right arm again and paint.
A vast amount of studies have been carried out about centenarians across the world who live a healthy pain free and active life.
They are called blue zones areas – which are places in the world where people live longer and healthier than anywhere else on earth.
Several of these blue zones exist, and in each of these places people living to 100 years plus in good health is very common.
And they aren’t just living long either these people are living healthy lives without medication or physical disability.
And the the secret is lifestyle and nutrition.
Quite simply, these people live a lifestyle that includes natural movement,
having a purpose in life (they work till old age),
happiness (strong social and family bonds),
following a specific plant diet with only 10% of meat (eating the right foods is absolutely key in being pain-free) and living in a supportive community.
You see, people are made to move and lead an active life. In blue zones regions, people were nudged into moving every 20 minutes throughout the day.
Sitting (or even standing) in one position for an eight-hour workday can wreak havoc on your body.

These centenarians have low levels of circulating IGF-1 and high levels of anti-inflammatory molecules.
Genes signaling to enhance cells’ DNA repair mechanisms to fight changes that could lead to cancer are supported by higher levels of anti-inflammatory molecules, plant micronutrients, and lower levels of IGF-1.

Minerals are a group of 16 inorganic nutrients (i.e., nutrients that do not contain carbon) that the body needs for normal cell function, growth, and development.
The body can’t make minerals.They are known as essential nutrients, because it is essential for us to consume them.
Minerals are grouped into two categories: major minerals and trace minerals.
Major minerals are minerals that your body needs on a daily basis in significant amounts in order to maintain fluid balances in the body.
Individual minerals also have additional health benefits. They include such minerals as calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium.
Then there are also trace minerals that your body only needs a small amount of in order to function properly incl. zinc, selenium, iron, iodine and many more.
These minerals have different roles for health.
Calcium is good for bone health and teeth.
Magnesium has a range of functions ranging from cell/tissue growth, DNA repair to protein synthesis and energy production.
Potassium controls kidney health.
Iodine is important for thyroid function and thyroid hormone production.
Zinc supports the immune system and is great for skin health.
This is just to give you a few examples.
I have got access to a food scoring system of 1000 foods that rates foods on a scale from 1 to 1000 based on nutrient content.
Each score is based on a possible score of 0 - 1,000 with 1,000 being the most nutrient dense and 0 being the least nutrient dense.
To determine the scores, an equal-calorie serving of each food was evaluated. The following nutrients were then included in the evaluation:
fiber, calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, zinc, copper,
manganese, selenium, vitamin A, beta carotene, alpha carotene, lycopene,
lutein and zeaxanthin, vitamin E, vitamin C, thiamin, riboflavin, niacin,
pantothenic acid, vitamin B6, folate, vitamin B12, choline, vitamin K,
phytosterols, glucosinolates, angiogenesis inhibitors, organosulfides,
aromatase inhibitors, resistant starch, resveratrol plus ORAC score. ORAC
(Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity) is a measure of the antioxidant or radical scavenging capacity of a food.
Foods like meat, seafood, and dairy products receive scores below 50 and are not considered to be health-supporting.

Our Gut Holds 70% of Our Immune System

All my clients who were in pain had an imbalanced gut with lots of bad gut bacteria.
If you feel sluggish or run down and suffer from other health issues such as digestive issues (bloating, wind, constipation), food intolerances, skin rashes, swelling of limbs, brain fog, chronic pain, weight gain, mood swings, feeling moody or anxious etc., this basically means that the cause of your issues is almost certainly your gut due to an imbalance in the gut microbiome including bad bacterial and fungal overgrowth and potentially also some parasites particularly if you have a pet.
These pathogens create endotoxins that can cause inflammation in the body which can lead to all kinds of chronic health issues and auto-immune disorders including MS, Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis and so on.

Make large circles around the joint, these can be clockwise or anti- clockwise. Do the interior as well as the exterior of the knee joint.
You can also use gel patches and these can be placed in pairs around the joint as Mustafa is demonstrating.
The patch with the red cable goes on the point of pain. You can also just leave the patches on 1 or 2 points and enjoy the feeling of relief and relaxation.

Out of these 600 carotenoids only 14 are found in human tissue.
Carotenoids give food that yellow-orange and red color, and are abundant in green and yellow-orange vegetables and fruits, though the chlorophyll in green vegetables hides the orange and red carotenoids in green leaves.
Carotenoids help to defend the body’s tissues against oxidative damage, which is a natural byproduct of the metabolic processes;
Oxidative damage from free radicals contributes to chronic diseases and aging.
In a study of over 13,000 American adults, low blood levels of carotenoids were found to be a predictor of earlier death.
Lower total carotenoids, alpha-carotene, and lycopene in the blood were all linked to increased risk of death from all causes.
It is important to note that, of all the carotenoids, very low blood lycopene was the strongest predictor of mortality.
Lycopene is the signature carotenoid of the tomato, although out of the 14 carotenoids in absorbed into human tissue 9 of those 14 are found in tomatoes.
So eat your tomato ketchup but firstly buy it in glass jars and secondly buy versions with the least amount of salt and additives or preservatives.

A telomere is a region of repetitive DNA sequences at the end of a chromosome.
Telomeres protect the ends of chromosomes from becoming frayed or tangled.
Each time a cell divides, the telomeres become slightly shorter.
Eventually, they become so short that the cell can no longer divide successfully, and the cell dies.
Telomere length is used as an indicator of cellular aging, because as the cell loses some of the telomere, it loses its ability to replicate effectively in the future.
That means as we get older, the cell loses its ability to replenish itself, and the body can't fix things or restore itself to a more youthful state.
So as the telomeres get shorter, that’s accelerating the process of aging.
But if a person is really healthy and eating well, the telomeres can grow back with an enzyme called telomerase.
Telomerase helps catalyze a reaction that repairs the lost telomere cap, which makes the telomere more resistant to being shortened.
Telomerase activity is the sign of a healthy body.
Shorter telomeres and the lack of activity of the telomerase enzyme, has been shown to shorten lifespan and increase the risk of cancer.
And recent studies have found that more oxidative stress – which means more free radical production in the cell in response to a poor diet – shortens the telomeres even more than replication does.
So that means when cells are not even replicating, their telomeres can be shortened by increased free radical activity due to improper diet.
A study by Dr. Ornish's, which was published in the medical journal Lancet Oncology, demonstrated for the first time that an intervention – in this case, giving people a healthier diet – showed a significant increase in telomerase activity.
This study by Dr. Ornish was highly significant, because prior to that, no intervention, even drugs, had been shown to be able to increase telomerase activity.
Dr. Ornish's research also showed that oncogenes – which are DNA defects that are programmed to accelerate cancer causation in a cell – were shut off by a healthy diet.
Oncogenes are often inherited, and cause one person to be at higher risk of cancer compared to another person.
The kind of healthy diet I am talking about that shuts the oncogenes off is one in which you eat enough cruciferous green vegetables, as well as your G-BOMBS – greens, beans, onions, mushrooms, berries and seeds.
When you eat a diet that is nutrient-dense and plant-rich, those genetic defects – which would put someone at a high-risk of breast cancer or colon cancer compared to another person – don't get expressed in the majority of cases.
Eating healthfully levels the playing field, because you have the same risk as any other person who doesn't have cancer in their family.
Another interesting fact about telomeres is that in observational studies,
higher levels of physical activity or exercise are related to longer telomere lengths in various populations,
and athletes tend to have longer telomere lengths than non-athletes…. which brings me to the next slide show.

The first therapy you see Mustafa doing is called Scenar.
Scenar is Russia’s gift to the world heal pain and inflammation.
Scenar stands for Self-controlling Energy Neuro Adaptive Regulator. SCENAR was originally designed for Russain cosmonauts and is now used in many Russian hospitals and rehabilitation clinics.
SCENAR is recognised as being particularly beneficial in the reduction of pain and inflammation and the improved and accelerated healing of wounds.
It is used by many athletes and Layne Beechley world champion surfer is one of it most vocal advocates as it saved her career.
Scenar basically trains the body to heal itself. It provides relief for all kinds of pain, it strengthens the immune system and it switches on the parasympathetic nervous system (the rest and digest system) so the body relaxes.
The SCENAR device emits electromagnetic signals identical to the human nerve signal to stimulate the body’s own healing powers almost. These signals travel along special types of nerve fibres so called C-fibres to the brain. This results in generation of neuropeptides and anti-oxidants which rapidly accelerate healing and decrease pain.

The second natural pain elimination therapy I will introduce to you now is postural alignment.
Mustafa is suffering from strong knee pain and had had several operations throughout his life.
Chronic pain is a form of high priority communication. It warns of impending danger.
You see we are born a symmetrical balanced biped and we are meant to move.
What is not happening is adequate motion because he is out of balance
The body acts as unit, that is the way it is designed to function
And the key is to let the body return to the design gift
Look at this picture here. I call this guy Freddy.
All load joints are stacked on on top of each other. Knees above ankles, hips above knees and shoulders above hips and they are all at the same level / height.
Can you imagine this person suffering from pain? Impossible unless he had a severe trauma or accident. Right?
Freddy is totally balanced and bifunctional.
Now Look at Mustafa’s patellas or knee caps, they are pointing outward and in addition he has everted feet with pronated ankles and flat feet as discussed in another video. He is anything but fully balanced and functional.
The less balanced and functional you are, the more likely you will be in pain, you will exercise less as a result and the shorter your life span will.
The general presumption is that if damaged joints, bones and muscles appear to be the source of pain, then they are regarded as diseased.
However, the pain cannot be addressed by joint surgery or other site specific treatment as he did. Hence the pain keeps recurring.
Mustafa needs the right movement that will bring his knees back into their design function, then the pain will abate. Even cartilage can begin to grow back and you might not need the knee operation.

My wish is for you to have a long a healthy and fit life without chronic disease as you age.
I have had a 80 year old client who came to see me because he had pain in his hip, low back and severe shoulder pain.
He was a painter and had to use his left arm to prop up the right arm so he could paint.
After an intensive 8 weeks with me, he was able to stand again for prolonged period and could lift his right arm again and paint.
A vast amount of studies have been carried out about centenarians across the world who live a healthy pain free and active life.
They are called blue zones areas – which are places in the world where people live longer and healthier than anywhere else on earth.
Several of these blue zones exist, and in each of these places people living to 100 years plus in good health is very common.
And they aren’t just living long either these people are living healthy lives without medication or physical disability.
And the the secret is lifestyle and nutrition.
Quite simply, these people live a lifestyle that includes natural movement,
having a purpose in life (they work till old age),
happiness (strong social and family bonds),
following a specific plant diet with only 10% of meat (eating the right foods is absolutely key in being pain-free) and living in a supportive community.
You see, people are made to move and lead an active life. In blue zones regions, people were nudged into moving every 20 minutes throughout the day.
Sitting (or even standing) in one position for an eight-hour workday can wreak havoc on your body.
But what I really want you to take away from this is that there are societies out there living easily without chronic illness on average 100 years plus. You find them in Okinawa Japan, Ikaria in Greece, Sardinia in Italy, 7th Adventists in Loma Linda in California and Coast Rica.
These centenarians have low levels of circulating IGF-1 and high levels of anti-inflammatory molecules.
Genes signaling to enhance cells’ DNA repair mechanisms to fight changes that could lead to cancer are supported by higher levels of anti-inflammatory molecules, plant micronutrients, and lower levels of IGF-1.
