We are born a symmetrical balanced biped.
We are meant to skip, dance, jump and fall without injury
I am in pain what’s wrong with me is not the correct question, it leads to pain management
We need to ask why we are in pain?
You see the body acts as unit, that is the way it is designed to function
And the key is to let the body return to its original design gift which you have lost otherwise you would not be in pain.
Look at this picture here. I call this guy Freddy.
All load joints are stacked on on top of each other. Knees above ankles, hips above knees and shoulders above hips and they are all at the same level / height.
Can you imagine this person suffering from pain? Impossible unless he had a severe trauma or accident. Right?
Freddy is totally balanced and bifunctional.
The less balanced and functional you are, the more likely you will be in pain, you will exercise less as a result and the shorter your life span will be as simple as that.
You need to exercise to reduce sugar levels, lower your blood pressure and cholesterol
When you are not balanced your entire body is compromised, your sleep pattern, less oxygen, cycles and digestion are compromised
Don’t accept limitation.
Health is not the absence of pain it is the absence of limitation.
So let’s talk about Mustafa now.
As you can here, Mustafa has fallen arches and everted feet. This means that the soles are in permanent contraction.
Flat feet are nothing to laugh about and would have severely impacted on his fighting ability when competing for the ADCC world championship.
The sole comprised of short muscles, small bones, tendons and ligaments come in direct contact with the ground.
The foot has no shock absorbing capacity without the arch. It sends impact waves right up to the knees and beyond.
The mussels of the calf, knee, hip and lower back must take over to which they are not suited. This will change the gait and the foot strike.
The powerful hip and leg muscles will evert the feet turning the toes outward and the heel inwards sacrificing the heel / toe / gait pattern.
