Knowing that there is no ONE reality, but that we all have different perception of realities can be helpful to understand and tolerate each other's opinions. When I tell you that I think it is better to live as a Digital Nomad and work online as a freelancer, that DOES NOT MEAN that your way of living is wrong. At the same time, if you tell me that you are working a 9-5 living in one city in one country is the right way, that DOES NOT MEAN that it is the RIGHT WAY for me or for everyone else too. The next time someone tells you something, and you feel like “Oh... how I do my things or how I see the world is now wrong” because he or she sees it differently → take a step back and remind yourself that your way is NOT wrong, it is just different and still right for you, IF it feels right to you!! Philosophers have told us long ago that: - You have to first be SMALL in order to become BIG - You have to PAY in order to GAIN Many people want to start earning at a high pay rate because their ego prevent them from starting at a low pay rate -- forgetting that you do so in order to get the higher paying jobs in the long run. These are a few examples to illustrate my point: When starting a coaching business, many first offer free coaching or at a very low rate for the sake of building their portfolio and thus having references that prove their value - thus being able to charge a higher price later. As a freelancer, many first work for less to get good reviews on a platform, which help them to be in a position later on where they can charge more for their services. When launching a new product on an E-Commerce platform, sellers first give out products for free to gain 5-star reviews, which help increase the customers' trust and thus generate more sales. The idea here is to determine what the crucial 20% is that will get you the most 80%. I'm a big believer in this concept, and it can be used to gain your results more effectively, whether in business or in life. You can read all the books you want 80% of your time, but if you don't take action (the 20% that gets you most of the results) and apply what you've learned, then it's useless and a waste of time. So do a weekly review and ask yourself what are the top 3-5 tasks that'll get me to my results?
