You don't have to be a top chef to make meatballs. Just follow the steps in this recipe, and you'll have the perfect pasta accompaniment in no time.
Step 1: Beat egg
Lightly beat the egg.
Step 2: Make bread crumbs
Tear the roll into pieces and pulse it in the food processor until you have fine breadcrumbs. Then toss them in the bowl with 1/3 cup water.
Tip
Substitute bread crumbs if you prefer.
Step 3: Add ingredients
Add the ground beef, egg, 1 teaspoon of the garlic, 2 teaspoons salt, 1/4 teaspoon pepper, and 3/4 teaspoon of the oregano, mixing until everything is combined. Then form the mixture into meatballs.
Step 4: Brown meatballs
Heat the oil in a heavy pot over medium-high heat, swirling it around to coat the pot. Then add the meatballs, cooking them until they're browned, and turning them occasionally.
Step 5: Make sauce
Break up the whole tomatoes and add them, with the crushed tomatoes, to the pot. Add the remaining garlic and oregano, along with a pinch of sugar, and season the sauce with salt and pepper.
Step 6: Cook meatballs and sauce
Bring the sauce to a boil, and then reduce the heat for a rapid simmer. Cook the meatballs in the sauce for 15 minutes, until they're cooked through. Enjoy over the pasta of your choice.

Okay, so today we're going to go over how to do dumbbell hammer curls. Now there's different variations to this. You can do um together or one at a time. I personally like one at a time, cause you can really focus on it. Now as opposed to a regular curl, you're not gonna rotate your wrist up to the sky. Now notice in your regular curl, when you rotate you're really peaking out your bicep. So you're working a lot of the interior of the bicep. With a hammer curl, you're focusing more on the width of your bicep in your forearm. Okay. So that's the primary focus of the hammer curl. Now to do these, you'll start just like your regular dumbbell curls. Hands at your side, nice base. Shoulder width apart with your feet. Loose knees, not locked out. Elbows, not locked out. Nice soft elbow. Now as you come up, you can come in different directions. You can come straight up or you can come across your body. I love to come across the body just because you feel a little more on that bicep. But, to do this, it's very controlled movement. Squeeze. Come back down. Come up, very controlled movement. Squeeze. It's really important to get that squeeze and flex everything you got in there. Come back down controlled. Don't be throwing the weights around cuz it won't do anything for ya. Breathing, is very important during this exercise. As you come up, you're going to breath out. Squeeze, release, breath in. Come up, breath out, squeeze, breath in. Bad habits always happen with this exercise. you see guys throwin them up, elbows not locked in place. Keep your elbow right locked by your side. Come up, squeeze, come back down. You'll really feel it in your forearm and in the middle of your bicep if you're doing it right. Come up and down. Come up and down. That's your dumbbell hammer curl.

Drop it low. Up, down, up, down, up, down. And that is how you drop it low.

How to Solve a Sudoku Game
Sudoku is a one-rule puzzle game that can be either satisfyingly simple or deceptively difficult.
Step 1:
Understand the pattern of a sudoku puzzle. Cells where an individual number goes are called squares; squares are then sectioned off in groups of nine to create boxes. A sudoku puzzle has a total of 81 squares, and nine boxes. They create a three-box-by-three-box grid.
Tip
Many sudoku puzzles have dark lines separating the nine three-square-by-three-square boxes for easy identification.
Step 2:
To solve a sudoku puzzle, each row of nine squares must contain the numbers 1 through 9. Each column must also contain the numbers 1 through 9, and each box must contain the numbers 1 through 9. No row, column, or box may repeat any number.
Step 3:
Start with an easy puzzle, and work your way up to successively more difficult puzzles. Many squares will already be filled in, no matter the puzzle level. Based on those filled in squares, using logic and the process of elimination, begin deducing which numbers fit in the empty squares.
Tip
Any puzzle that has one single solution will have at least 17 squares already filled in.
Step 4:
Use cross-hatching, the process of figuring out where a number fits by eliminating possibilities based on numbers in the other squares in the same row, column, and box. For example, if the top-middle box contains no number 8, and the other boxes along the top row of the sudoku board contain 8s in the first and second rows, process of elimination dictates the 8 in the upper-middle box must be in the third row.
Step 5:
Once you've solved one square by cross-hatching, use the technique to fill in as many squares in that single box as you can.
Step 6:
Once you have exhausted one box, either by filling it in completely or running out of discoverable solutions, continue to the next box, then the next box, until you've gone through all nine boxes.
Step 7:
Typically, by doing simple cross-hatching you will fill in several squares. Once you've gone through all the boxes, return to the box you started with and repeat the process, as it's likely there are now more available solutions.
Step 8:
After cross-hatching, try the counting method. Look at a single square, and count 1 through 9 through all possibilities, marking off ones that are immediately disqualified because it already appears either in the same box, the same column, or in the same row as the empty square.
Step 9:
For most easy puzzles, these simple techniques should be sufficient to help you complete the puzzle. As you practice, you'll be able to develop your own strategies and think ahead, which will help you progress on to more difficult puzzles.

Dogs are mostly self-reliant when it comes to giving birth, but it's still important to prepare your dog and know how to help her if she needs it.
Warning
Take the dog to a veterinarian if it is more than 69 days past conception, the mother strains for over an hour without producing another pup, or if labor goes on longer than eight hours.
Step 1: Anticipate labor
Anticipate when your dog is likely to go into labor. Most dogs whelp -- or give birth -- about 63 days after mating.
Step 2: Choose a whelping spot
Designate a quiet, dark, and warm place, like a bathroom, for the whelping. The room temperature should be about 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Prepare a sturdy box or plastic container with 6- to 8-inch-high sides and line it with clean towels, rags, and blankets. This is where your dog will give birth.
Step 3: Recognize when labor begins
Recognize when labor starts. The dog may pace, shiver, pant, whine, vomit, or refuse to eat. All these signs indicate that she is beginning to have contractions and her cervix is dilating. Labor can last anywhere from six to 20 hours.
Step 4: Take the dog to her nest
Once you confirm the dog is in labor, take her to the whelping area you have already prepared. Let her stay there until after she gives birth.
Step 5: Let nature take its course
The mother will birth the pups one by one, and the delivery usually takes one to two hours. Allow the mother to push her pups out. You'll be able to tell she's pushing because her tail will lift. As she births each puppy, she'll lick open its birth sac, sever the umbilical cords, and lick or eat the afterbirth for nourishment.
Step 6: Stimulate respiration
If the mother doesn't tear the birth sac open, stimulate respiration. Wearing latex gloves, tear it manually and clear all fluid away from the puppy's nose and mouth. Then vigorously rub the pup with a towel.
Tip
If you hear coughing or choking that does not quickly resolve, suck fluid from the puppy's mouth with the bulb syringe.
Step 7: Cut the umbilical cord
If the mother doesn’t sever the umbilical cord, tie dental floss or thread around it, - about an inch from the puppy's belly button, and cut the cord on the mother's side of the knot with sterilized scissors.
Step 8: Help deliver stuck puppies
If a puppy is being delivered feet-first, or breach, assist the puppy out of the birth canal by gently pulling it downward and rearward from the mother's vagina.
Step 9: Ensure nourishment
Make sure that your dog has constant access to food and water after giving birth. Her babies need her to be strong. After all, she's earned it!

So congratulations. You just got your first router, and that's basically what it looks like. It has all these little ports in the back, and I'll give you a little explanation of what they are. So it's really simple. There are basically two kinds of ports. One is called the LAN, and you would usually get multiple ones of that. So you will get, in this case, four. Usually it's four. Sometimes it's three. And these go to every computer that you have or every device that you want to connect to your network. You can also detect the devices wirelessly, of course, because this is a wireless router. But we'll get to that a little bit later.
Right now the more important connection we're looking for is something called WAN, or sometimes it will say "Uplink" or even "Internet" on it. And what this port does is connect to the internet, basically. Your modem will go right here. So in this case I have a little cable modem right here, and I'm going to hook it up. So I'm going to connect this router to the modem using this little ethernet cable that I have here. So one side will go to here, and the other one will go to the modem. On the modem side, it will usually be a little simpler. You just have one connection, so where it fits, it goes.
The next thing I want to do is unplug the modem from the electricity. Now this is sometimes not important, but most of the time, most modems need to be kind of reset before you can get them working with a new device. While it's sitting there unplugged, I can take another ethernet cable and hook it up to my computer. So I'm going to use one of the four LAN ports in the back. It doesn't really matter which one. They should all work. And I'm just going to put it in, and then I'm going to put the other side into my nifty little computer.
So what is happening right now is basically the computer is talking to the router, and it's asking it for something called an IP address, which is kind of like a number that tells the computer, "This is who you are on my network." Now once it gives it an IP address, which it happened very, very fast and basically automatically, I'm going to use either the web browser or the CD that came with the router to set it up. And the setup will take us through the process of telling the router A, what kind of internet connection are we using.
So if you're using a cable modem, most of the time it will be a completely automatic setup. You will just plug it in, and it will work. Or if you're using a DSL modem, sometimes you'll have to enter a user name and password for the router to know how to connect to the internet using the modem. the second thing you will set up that's very important is your wireless network. So you'll set up the name of your wireless network and the password that will protect your wireless network from, you know, nosy neighbors or people you don't want to go on your files.
The last thing that I recommend setting up is the router password. Now the router password is different from the wireless password, because the wireless password just limits access to the internet for all the wireless devices. But the router passwords protect all the settings that are on the router. So for example, if you want to change the wireless password, or if you want to limit the way people connect to the internet or set up a firewall, all these things are done with the router password. And it's very important that the router password is different than the wireless password.

Oopsy poopsy! You tried to let one rip, but expelled more than you bargained for -- an accident known as a "shart." And boy, do you need our help.
Step 1: Get to a restroom
Get to a restroom as quickly as possible. If there are paper towels, grab a fistful, dampen, and squirt with liquid soap. If not, use a wad of damp, soapy toilet paper.
Step 2: Strip from the waist down
Strip from the waist down and clean yourself with the paper towels. Check yourself thoroughly to discover the full extent of the shart damage. When you're done, wrap your underwear in toilet paper so that when you toss them in the garbage, your bodily malfunctions are hidden.
Tip
Use any unsoiled portion of your underwear as a washcloth.
Step 3: Examine your pants
Examine your pants or skirt. If your shart spread beyond your underwear, flush the toilet to make sure the water is relatively clean, then dip the soiled areas into the toilet water and clean them as best you can. Yes, you'll be left with awkwardly placed water spots, but better that people think you peed yourself than…what really happened.
Tip
Use a business card to scrape solids into the toilet.
Step 4: Get dressed
Get dressed, and wash your hands thoroughly. Take a look at yourself in the mirror from all angles to make sure you haven't missed any spots. Mask any lingering stench with whatever you might have on hand -- perfume, hand sanitizer, a tuna sandwich -- anything smells better than poop.
Step 5: Fake a different accident
If despite your best efforts your sharting episode is still obvious, find the nearest mud puddle, snow bank, or dirty gutter and fake a backwards fall. Better that kind of accident than the actual one.

Hi this is David Sullivan, for Chess NYC. Some people think chess games are long, slow and boring but they can actually be very quick. Here is an example of a three move game of chess.
White starts by moving the center pawn in front of his king, he does that to free, more pieces, black does the same. Now a frequent beginners move here is to play the queen to h5, white brings up the queen, which develops a piece and he is attacking three pawns, although only one of the pawns is actually unprotected. Best for black here is to develop his knight, and protect the pawn, but he can make some pretty tragic mistakes here. He could play the king to e7, and then after king goes up to e7, which is kind of crazy, you're bringing your king towards the enemy, when he wants to be behind his own pieces, and he also blocks his own bishop and queen, preventing them from moving. White can go queen takes e5, check to the black king, the black king cannot go two squares and capture the queen, nobody can go to this square and block. And wherever the king tries to run, he will still be in check, checkmate.
So, three moves, game over, try not to let it happen to you.

No doubt about it in basic training you're gonna gave to do a lot of push ups so you're gonna want to get your push up count as high as possible before you ever meet your drill sergeants. Let me show you the way to do that. You can increase your push up count considerably with this quick and easy routine. First thing you want to do is you want to do some jumping jacks to warm up your body, ok. Just a few. If you can do 25, 30 great. Jumping jacks are simple just like this, ok. Now once your body is warmed up this is the routine you'll really have to do to increase your push up count. The first thing you're gonna wanna do is do diamond push ups to exhaustion and when I mean to exhaustion I mean till you literally cannot push yourself off anymore, ok. And a diamond push up is when your hands are on the ground and it looks like this it's making a diamond. Alright, starting position your arm is straight gonna come down as far as possible gonna push yourself back up. Now again work to exhaustion. Then I want you to wait 30 seconds. Do a normal push up where your hands are normal length. Shoulder width apart, ok. Again you're going to exhaustion. And I'm gonna tell you the reason you're gonna go in this order in just a few minutes. Now we're gonna do wide grip push ups. So your hands are gonna be even farther apart then the normal grip of course. Nice and wide. So in between each of the diamond, the normal and the wide grip you're gonna be taking a 30 second break, gonna be working each to exhaustion. All of those three exercises is one set. You're gonna wanna do three of those every other day and if you're used to where you can do those three exercises without any problems do four sets then five sets then six sets however long you have to go until basic training. Now here's a tip when you're doing diamond push ups you're working your fast twitch muscle fibers in your triceps. When you're doing wide grip you're working your slow twitch muscle fibers in your chest. You're building up your chest your arms and your triceps all on one where you do each of the three variations of push ups. So if you could do twenty push ups before you even start this exercise you should easily be able to do 80 without stopping after you've done a few weeks of this exercise.

Hi, coach Russ here with ChessNYC, and today I'm going to be talking to you about the four move checkmate, also known as the scholar's mate. So the scholar's mate is a opening, also known as a form of checkmate that is going to focus on your attack on black's weak F7 square. So here it goes.
White opens with E4 allowing for the development of both their queen and their bishop. Black's most popular response to E4 is playing E5. Now after the E4-E5 opening white can go in either development with the bishop or with the queen, but remember we're focusing our attack on the weak F7 square.
So in this particular opening I will open up with the bishop to C4. As you can notice, the bishop is directly looking at the weak F7 square putting pressure on that pawn. Black develops the knight, and now is when we activate the queen. As you can see, the bishop is already looking at the F7 square, and now we're going to move the queen to one of two positions that can also look at or attack the F7 square.
The queen can be activated to H5, and as you see the queen is now threatening the F7 square, or we can also activate the queen to F3. In both of these positions the queen and the bishop are both looking at F7. Now if black is not careful and black makes a normal developing move or controlling the center, white can simply play queen takes pawn. And as simple as that the game is over.
So let's look at it once again. The four move checkmate is known as the scholar's mate, and it's the idea of attacking the weak F7 square. This square is considered the weak F7 square because this pawn or F7 is only protected by the opponent's king.
In order to successfully attack the F7 square, we are going activate both our queen and our bishop. We're going to play E4 opening up the queen and the bishop. Black responds to center, and now we can activate our queen. As you can see, we have our queen threatening the weak F7. Black continues with development, and now we need our second piece to attack F7.
Currently, we have the queen threatening F7, and now we are going to activate our bishop which is also looking at the weak F7 square. After black continues with their development, once again the queen takes pawn, checkmate. So everybody that looking to win a chess game very quickly and to beat their mom or dad or friend and be one of the top chess players in their school, the scholar's mate is the way to go.

So the dance we're gonna talk about now is called the cowboy boogie. It's a very popular dance done throughout the United States. One of the great things about the cowboy boogie is that it's done to a lot of different songs so you're gonna get it to different songs, to different speeds depending on where you live and what your bar likes to play.
So we're gonna start with just the basic vine to the right. We're gonna go side, behind, side, with a little hitch which is the knee up, hitch. Then go right back to the other direction: side, behind, side, hitch-with a forward hitch-step, hitch, and another one, step, hitch. Now that's gonna back you up. LaShonna: If you don't already know the electric slide, we're going to teach you the basic form of it. If you already know it, we're going to add some spice to it so that your electric slide can be the best of them all.
Victor: Alright, so...
LaShonna: We start with four steps to the right. One, two, three, four. Then same thing to the left, four steps. One, two, three, four. Then take four steps back. One, two, three, four. Then you do a little step touch to the front, smack, and back. If you got that much, we add the step kick. The foot that's in front steps. The foot that's in back kicks. Now we're on a new side. This dance repeats over and over again. It's a line dance, so we're going to start this way. Ready? Four steps to the right. Here we go. One, two, three, to the left. One, two, then we take it back. One, two, left foot's in front. We step kick. Start again, two, three, four. To the left, take it back. One, two, three, four. Step, touch. Step and kick. Okay?
Now we're going to do the electric slide four times adding some variations to it. So the first time it's going to be pretty basic and the second, third, and fourth time we're going to add some spice to it. Ready Victor?
Victor: Yeah.
LaShonna: Okay. Five, six, to the right. Four steps.
Victor: You want to have fun with it.
LaShonna: That's right.
Victor: One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight.
LaShonna: And chasse.

LaShonna: A variation of the step, the four steps. Touch the floor on this one.

Now I'm going to demonstrate how to do a leg raise. You're going to lie down. For us, we're going to put our hands behind the lower back or slightly underneath near the gluts. It gives support for the lower back. This exercise, primarily you're targeting the lower abdominals, so it puts a little bit more stress in the lower back if you don't have a strong core.
Keep your knees slightly bent. Come down. The lower you bring your legs to the floor, obviously the more resistance it's going to cause in the lower abdominals. You could start here and just come straight up. Down slow. Again. Come up faster as you go down. Your negatives are always a little slower than your positives. Exhale on the positive. Down slow. Remember, knees bent. If you start to feel a little bit of strain in the lower back that will take off some of the pressure in the lower back. Do high repetitions. Try to do about 15 to 20 repetitions. That's how you do a leg raise.

Almost anyone knows how to play tic-tac-toe, but not everyone knows the strategy that guarantees they'll never lose another game.
Step 1: Draw a tic-tac-toe board
Draw your tic-tac-toe board on a piece of paper using a pen or pencil. It should have nine squares total, with three on the top, three in the middle, and three on the bottom.
Step 2: Get the first turn
Whether you are flipping a coin or throwing dice, you need to win the right to the first move if you don't want to lose the game.
Step 3: Mark the center square
Mark the center square with an "X" or an "O." This is the key to guaranteeing you'll never lose in tic-tac-toe when you have the first move.
Tip
Following this rule will not guarantee you a win. It will guarantee that, even against a tic-tac-toe master, you will never lose.
Step 4: Go to the right
After your opponent makes their mark, look to see if there is a square to the right of it available. If so, take it with your next move.
Step 5: If you can't go right, go left
If the square to the right isn't available, take the square to the left with your next move.
Step 6: If you can't go right or left, go above
If the squares to the right and left are taken, place your next mark above their last mark.
Step 7: If all else fails, go below
If the squares to the right and left and above your opponent's last move are taken, choose the square below it.
Step 8: Repeat
Repeat the right-left-above-and-below rule for each move you play. Congratulations! You may not win, but you'll never be a loser.

All right, onto the floor where most of the magic happens, one of my other favorite
exercises is the Russian Twist. A modification, if you're new to this,
not so strong, just keep your heels on the floor, lean back slightly. If
you are a more advanced exerciser you can bring your legs up and cross them
but I'm going to show the modified version for now. Take your medicine
ball, lean back, you should already feel the contraction in the abs, and
then you're just going to tap the ball from side to side. If you're
feeling adventurous, bring the legs up for a greater burn. You could do
3 sets of 30 to 40 of those, they're pretty quick but you should feel a nice
burn.

Over the course of a woman's lifetime, she may experience breast changes. While many end up being nothing to worry about, it's important to have any changes that you notice checked by a doctor -- just to be on the safe side. Here are the potential breast cancer symptoms to watch out for.

Step 1: Do a monthly self-exam
Start performing a monthly self-exam as soon as your breasts are fully developed. Checking yourself regularly is important -- you need to know what your breasts feel like normally so you can recognize any changes. Examine yourself several days after your period ends, when your breasts are least likely to be swollen and tender. If you're no longer having periods, choose a day that's easy to remember, such as the first or last day of the month. Keep in mind that it's not uncommon for breasts to feel lumpy due to benign fibrocystic breast disease, cysts, scar tissue, infections, and other causes that have nothing to do with cancer.

Step 2: Have lumps checked
Know what you're feeling for: a lump that feels different from your breast's normal lumpiness, like discovering a pebble in your oatmeal. Though many lumps are benign, anything that feels new or odd should be checked by your doctor -- even if you've recently had a clean mammogram. Check for lumps in your armpits, too.
Tip
Cancerous lumps are more likely to be hard, painless, and unmovable.
Step 3: Beware of dimpled skin
Look for visible changes, like dimpled, puckered, thickened, reddened, or scaly breast skin, or a flattening or indentation on the breast. All are potential breast cancer symptoms that should be evaluated.
Step 4: Note nipple changes
Recognize the nipple changes that can indicate breast cancer -- pain; redness; scaliness; itching; skin thickening; the nipple turning inward; or discharge other than breast milk.
Step 5: Have pain and swelling evaluated
See your doctor about swelling in all or part of your breast, or breast pain. Though swelling and soreness are usually no cause for concern, these symptoms can be signs of a rare but aggressive form of the disease known as inflammatory breast cancer.
Step 6: Get regular check-ups
Have your doctor perform a breast examination at your yearly check-up, and begin annual mammograms at age 40. If you have a family history of the disease, tell your doctor: they may suggest that you start having mammograms at an earlier age. Knowing the signs of breast cancer -- and being proactive about knowing how to recognize them early -- is the best way to protect yourself.

So now I'm gonna be showing you how to get some deep tissue strokes to the chest, the decollete area. So I'm first going to use my knuckles, and some circular motions. And you can see I don't use the knuckles as one solid movement. I actually separate them and use them in sort of a fan like motion. You can do this all through the chest area where the muscles are, where the pack muscles are. And then when you get up to the center here you can actually follow along the line of the clavicle. Just let your fingers sink right in underneath it. Go nice and slowly. You can wrap your thumbs around the back here to give you a little bit of extra leverage. And go along there. Next I'd like to do just a couple of circles around, between the packs and the shoulders as well and do a nice pull upwards and complete the stroke. And that is how you give a deep tissue chest massage.

"Hi, my name is Robert Royston. I'm a five time world champion of country dance, working with artists like Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley. I really hope that you learn how to line dance and experience what it's like to move to America's music, and that's country music.
So, one of the dances that you must learn, and it's really called round dancing, what we're doing, what we're about to do, because it goes in a circle but it's a set piece of choreography, a lot like line dancing. But, no matter where you go in the United States, if you're going to a place that does line dancing, they're probably going to do the Cotton Eyed Joe. The Cotton Eyed Joe is a dance that you can do with a partner, you could have somebody alongside you, or you can do it by yourself, or you can do it in rows of people. Sometimes you'll have rows of eight or nine people, all shoulders around each other, doing the Cotton Eyed Joe.
Cotton Eyed Joe has two variations that I'll show you. One is stomp, just a stomp stomp. Kick the same foot back up with the triple step, triple step. Then, same thing with the other foot. Stomp, kick, triple step. Stomp, kick, triple step. Stomp, kick, triple step. Yeah, so that goes one, two, a three and four. Five, six, a seven and eight. One, two, a three and four. Five, six, a seven and eight.
The variation, depending on the region you are in, to that, is that instead of a stomp, they do a touch. They go touch across, touch, kick, triple step. Touch, kick, triple step. Touch, kick, triple step. Touch, kick, triple step. So depending on the variations so you can see that in the front, I'll either cross my foot over, then kick, then back up. Cross, kick, triple step. Cross, kick, triple step. Or, I'll stomp, kick, triple step. Stomp, kick, triple step.
I tend to like to make a lot of noise so I do the stomp.
Then what you're going to do after the final triple, you're going to do eight counts of a shuffle, which we've learned in another series here in the line dance series, is a shuffle step, shuffle step, shuffle step, shuffle step. You're going to do eight counts of that. So you're going to go one and two, three and four, five and six, seven and eight and it starts over. One, two, a three, and four. Five, six, a seven and eight. One, two, a three, and four. Five, six, and then you shuffle, shuffle, shuffle, shuffle and start it over.
And again, lines of people. The more people in there the more fun it is. Or, you can do it by yourself, cruise around the floor, see other people in a line, hook on up and do the Cotton Eyed Joe.
We're going to do this to music right now.
Five, six, five, six, seven go. One, two, triple step. Triple step, stomp, kick, triple step. Stomp, kick and here we go. Shuffle, shuffle, shuffle, shuffle.

Basic Elements of Swing Dancing | Swing Dance

The best way to learn any dance is to practice the elements that make up that dance, much like practicing your scales on a piano. If you learn to read music and you learn your scales, you can play any song put in front of you. Same type of thing when it comes to the different styles of swing. If you understand some basic swing elements you can put them together a lot like Legos to make up the different style of swing. Some of those elements are walking, touch-stepping, triple stepping, and kick-ball-changes. Let's just do that in place.
Just walk in place. Doesn't matter what foot you start with, just walk. Feel what that walking rhythm feels like. Now we want to make sure we're over our feet, not back here marching behind our feet, right? We're dancing over our feet, right? So there's walking.
Then there's touch-stepping. Touch, step, touch, step. When get comfortable touch-stepping don't just do it underneath you. Touch to the side, touch forward and back. Get comfortable just moving around.
And then of course we have our triple steps as well. Triple step underneath you, right? Triple step going sideways. I would even triple step going forward and back. Right? Just getting comfortable with what that rhythm feels like.
Then we have our kick-ball-change. Kick, ball (it's the ball of the foot), change. From the side that goes kick, ball change, kick, ball change. You can even do it with both feet. Kick, ball change, kick, ball change. Again, kick, ball change, kick, ball change.
If you don't pick the foot up it's touch-ball-change. Touch, ball change, touch, ball change, as opposed to a kick-ball-change. Some movement, just looks a little bit different because I'm not picking the foot up. So we're going to go ahead and take those elements and put them to music. You want to practice them a lot so that you can draw upon them as necessary when you're doing the different varieties of swing. We're going to do it to music right now.
There you have all of your elements that make up swing dancing.

Hey guys, this is Max Tapper again for HowCast and today what we're going to go through is how to do a situp correctly. Now, a lot of you guys are out there doing situps in the gym but few of you guys are doing it correctly. So, I'm going to show you how to do it. All Right. Take a look.
Now, very important, a sit up means that we're coming from the floor into sitting up. All right. Now your feet must stay on the floor. The thing that people do mostly wrong in the gym is they tug on their neck and try to get themselves up. And do this: one, and back, and back. And that's wrong. All right.
I'm going to show you the way to do it. Nice and controlled. Nice and slow. One, slow on the way down. Two, three, four. All right. So that is the way to do a proper situp. Now guys, go out there, have a ball, knock some abs out and do your situps correctly. All right? Be safe.

Ava: Hi everybody. I'm Ava. This is my sister Loretta and this is Anthony. Right now we're going to show you some three basic moves on how to dance to hip-hop music. The main thing with hip-hop I guess is just be, like, relaxed and, like, have fun. Not too serious. Like you don't want to stand up too straight because you'll be, like, stiff, you know. You're going to stand basically, like, shoulder width apart with your feet and your knees are going to bent a little bit. This is pretty much where you live and where you start with all of your hip-hop grooves.
The first hip-hop groove Loretta is going to take us through.
Loretta: We can do just a basic kick-ball-change. You're going to take one foot, you're just going kick in front. Then you're going to cross it over. Then the back foot is going to step back. Then you're going to do the same thing. Kick, step, back. Kick, step, back. Kick, step, back. When you double time it, here we go. One-and-two, three-and-four, five-and-six, seven-and-eight.
You could also add a little bounce to it, to the beat. That's the relaxed, chill mood of hip-hop. Let's do it again. Five, six, seven, eight. One-and-two, three-and-four, five-and-six, seven-and-eight. Awesome. Next move.
Anthony: Sweet. Now we're going to break into the slide and step. We're going to slide and hit, slide and hit. And hit. Now if you want to get some more energy it's going to be a hop, and hop, and hop, and hop. Now let's put that together. To the right. Five, six, seven, eight. Slide and hop, and hop, and hop. Awesome
Ava: I'm feeling hip-hoppy already. OK, so one more move we're going to show you is just basically you're going to stand shoulder width apart and your hands are going to come out and then come in and then come out and then come in. While you do that your hips are going to move with it. They're going to go out, in, out, in, out, in, out, in. Right? We're going to start together and then we're going to jump out as we do this and add a little bit of bounce to it. Five, six, seven, eight. Out, in, out, in, out, in, out, in. Awesome.
Loretta: Those are three basic steps that you can do to dance to hip-hop music. Go through them one more time. First one, kick-ball-change. Five, six, seven, eight. Kick-ball-change, kick-ball-change, kick-ball-change, kick-ball-change.
Anthony: Now we have the slide hop. Five, six, seven, eight. Slide, slide, slide, slide.
Ava: Awesome. And the last one. Your arms go out and in with the hips. Five, six, seven, eight. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight.
That's how you dance to hip-hop music.
