I’m not sure that we will ever have pigs again. We have quite the story from Covid-times that we will share one day on here and I think that was our one time having pigs. Until that changes, enjoy this hello from my homesteader friend’s home!

@CrumblCookies are awesome. Apparently, I (Laura) had forgotten to tell Erik about them, so while we were at a friend's house who had Crumbl cookies, he was mystified as to what they were. So we decided to get his review and reaction to his first tasting of Crumbl cookies and share his reviews with you. Enjoy!

Panera Bread and Noodles and Nothing Bundt cakes all have a reward program you can sign up for and get a free treat on your birthday. You will need to show them the email or sign into your reward account to get it. Same goes for Red Robin, but they have our favorite program. A free burger and birthday sundae during your birthday month! Erik and I share a birthday month, so we love it!

I found this chicken coming back from the compost pile and I wondered what she had found!

This duck on the pond was so noisy, and we aren’t sure why! Funny to see how little the others seemed to care. They normally care more….

Meat chickens are not high on the pecking order in this situation! Egg chickens know they have food in there and they will take over! Glad to have meat chickens who can free range now.

Found this mixed up advertising at a gas station!

Thanks to @PetersPasta we know how to make pasta using flour and egg yolks. SO good! I used up over two dozen egg yolks for dinner - which is awesome, cuz I have so many from our homestead chickens! Now, I may make a quick meringue for snacking on it! It's always fun to have LONG pasta too.

The ducks don’t go back to their cage every night, because they can see in the dark. They have found a resting spot between their cage and our pond. You don’t know where they are until they poke their heads up and start quacking.

We loved our baby bunnies!

We were surprised that Kota lasted this long getting her scratches.
