While making a fire for dinner, I was surprised to find a bird flying around in our trampoline net! It didn’t look like it was hurt. It just couldn’t find the opening. One morning caught it was one of the only two watching baseball, so she got her own seat. It was amazing to see how many puppies are at the baseball tournament with her.

When she brought down her laundry, this is what I found

What a great tournament weekend!! Twelve games between two teams, and both teams had upsets!! State tournament soon for one team. Days were long, but it was an absolutely memorable weekend!! We all crashed after an 11 hour Sunday! #shorts

Baseball season is almost over. This is how all the little sisters made it through! #shorts How many sisters do you think are in there? (All different families! Brothers on same team.)

We are finishing up the boys’ baseball tournament today, and that means an early morning game. I haven’t had time for groceries, so I’m using zucchini from the garden and eggs from our chickens to make zucchini bread. However, I don’t have time to cook it, so I did this instead!! It was great!

One of these chickens in particular has become particularly brazen about jumping on the table to eat our food!!

The double weekend of baseball tournaments continues! Brayden is playing and Jase is playing and another two games overlapped. So much baseball. They have both won, lost, won!

Baseball tournaments are here! Glad the boys are at the same fields… a bit crazy that they are at the same time! Back and forth trying to keep up with it!

Colorado is a gorgeous state, made even more gorgeous by mountains like Pike’s Peak! It’s 14,000 feet above sea level. I took the picture from 9,000 feet above sea level and the tree line stops at 11,000 feet above sea level. Snow is still on the mountain top!

This is genius! Life hack recommendation for all who are listening! Every hotel and place where people stay should do this.

So we aren’t always the best at getting eggs every day. Sometimes it is because the chickens are broody! This is what happens then…

The bunnies occasionally get into tricky situations!

It’s surprising how loud baby ducklings can get! They will let you know when they don’t have food or water or something is wrong. Today, they needed food and water. They go through SO much water. It’s been fun to watch them grow up on our little homestead!

The kittens are on high alert for who is nearby.

We saw Dude Perfect on tour and it was awesome! We got to meet them in person prior to the tour thanks to winning tickets last year. They did battles against each other and crowned a tour winner at the end. they had a bunch of videos and segments from YouTube throughout. Very fun. Love that they ended talking about Jesus!

Happy 99 years to my grandma!! Not many people reach this age… and it’s crazy to think of all the things she has seen through her life. I’m mighty proud of her and she is the best dressed most adorable grandma that I know. Love you!

Working mom tip: bring out water balloons when you have to work! Then they come up with creative ideas for slow-mo… love the timing of it! J wanted this to be titled insane balloon burst or epic balloon burst… and I agree!

We finally processed our bacon from the pig we brought home last fall. It was a good experience!

A friend of ours had some baby mallard ducks that didn't fit into their home anymore as they grew bigger and bigger. So we have a new addition! So excited to watch them grow up!
