Traditionally this type of setup consists of heavy steel plates mounted on a sturdy steel frame.
In this modern version the plates are made of a lightweight plastic that allows the bullets to pass through them and then the holes heal up by themselves.
The big benefit is you can haul these around easily as they are relatively small and not too heavy.

Their objective is to reach safety at the edge of the bay.
In order to do this they use voice commands to coordinate their movements with each other.
The idea is that one partner is providing covering fire while the other is reloading or moving.

Concealment prevents you from being seen but DOES NOT stop bullets.
If a bad guy is shooting your direction, you want to get behind something like a concrete pillar, which will serve as cover.
The skill involved is to be able to quickly determine if something will stop a bullet or not.
