Nvidia and AMD GPU Prices are STILL GETTING LOWER!
Let’s get started with AMD, it looks like all is not happening according to their plans. The release date of their ryzen 7000 CPU’s was slated for September 15th, so less than a month from now. And while AMD never fully confirmed that date, some pretty reputable sources got that info too.
Now though, it looks like its been delayed a little. According to a reviewer over on chip hell, the official release date would be on September 27th. If this is true, its one day before Intel’s innovation event where they would apparently reveal raptor lake! Now why would there be a delay from AMD? According to the reviewer, it would be because of some Bios issues. Eh, boy. Bios issues, I really hope that we’re not going to have a repeat of the Zen 3 based ryzen 5000. Remember how we had to wait for like 5 agesa iterations until the CPU’s started to behave as advertised? Damn.
Anyways, while this new release date is not directly from AMD, it could change too. What is official is the announcement date. And that is August 29th. AMD will have its “Together we advance PC’s event”. During that event, we’ll hear all about the new AM5 platform, DDR5,PCIe gen 5, and of course the ryzen 7000 series. So tune in at 7 pm eastern time on the 29th.
Next up we got nvidia, and just like I predicted in the last video, it looks like the company is about to pull an RTX 2060. According to two chinese outlets who have sources in the supply chain, the company is currently working with board partners to slash the price of some RTX 3000 series GPUs. Similar to what they did with RTX 2060 back in 2020. And apparently, AMD is also planning on reducing the prices of their RX 6000 series. And Nvidia wants to go lower than AMD.
The only issue is, the price reduction will only really happen in the high-end models, like the 3080 ti and up. Hopefully, AMD reduces the price of their mid-tier gpus so Nvidia is forced to do so too. Remember, we’re not going to see the next generation of mid-tied GPU’s until next year, so if the prices are reduced, they might still be worth it.

Intel's ARC Information is FINALLY Useful! A750 Benchmarks
Let’s get started with intel. So the company has been on a marketing spree for quite some time now when it comes to their GPUs. Heck I think a couple of days ago, they released a long blog post about how and why the ARC division of the company came about. At some point, they even started to describe the GPUs physically, which, no one cares intel. The only relevant info about that blogpost was their promise to have a global launch ‘later this year.
Anyways, All this to say that the blog post was pretty much useless. To intel’s credit though, a couple of days later, they followed this up with a MEGA benchmark release. You know something that’s actually useful to know about a GPU. The performance benchmarks are for the Alchemist A750, and they’re comparing it to an RTX 3060. So, let's take a look. In total 42 games were tested on DX 12, and 6 were tested using the Vulkan API. According to intel, these games were not cherry-picked. They chose games that were quoted as “ Interesting “ saying that some of them are games used in GPU reviews, and others just popular steam games. As you can see in the normalized results, at 1080p ultra, both GPUs kinda trade blows, At least in those 42 games shown here. If we step up to 1440P but with high settings, it looks like the A750 does come out on top. And if we look at the Vulkan results, the results are pretty similar. Overall though, the A750 is about 3 to 5 % faster than the RTX 3060.

AMD's Ryzen 7000 Infinity Fabric is SUPER FAST!
Today in the news, we talk about AMD’s Zen 4 based ryzen 7000 series of processors. Yury Bubliy got his hands on an unreleased bios for the upcoming X670E platform and he picked out some juicy information on the next generation. Specifically, we’re talking about the Infinity fabric clock speed which is higher than expected. According to his findings, 3000MHZ! This would allow you to run DDR5 6000 easily. But is that really feasible? Or are we specifically talking about an unachievable sweet spot to get the best performance out of the ryzen 7000 memory controller?
Then we talk about the RTX 4000 series. The rtx 4070 got a new batch of specifications. We’re talking about 7680 cuda cores, 12gb of GDDR6X running at 21Gbps, and a whopping 300w TGP. This RTX 4070 should, in theory, surpass the RTX 3090 ti. At least that would be in the timespy extreme benchmark. In the updated specs from kopite 7 kimi over on twitter, we now know that its clock speed can reach upwards of 2800Mhz or 2.8Ghz. That is amazingly fast for a GPU. The power also got tweaked down to 285w. If it beats the 450w 3090 ti, it would be a beast!

Intel’s 13900K Is 50% FASTER! but at what cost...
Raptor lake has been leaking like a Sive since the start of this year. And we really saw the progression of intel’s testing. It started off worse than alder lake due to low clock speeds, to now absolutely destroying the last generation. And we’re talking benchmark after benchmark. On the other side, we got AMD. We heard pretty much everything when it comes to the specs of the Ryzen 7000 series, but no real benchmarks leaked. We pretty much HAVE to extrapolate the performance from the 5000 series using AMD’s performance projections. Over 15% faster in single-core and over 40% in multi-core.
A couple of weeks ago, I did a video where I compared the raptor lake info we had, so specs and benchmarks, to the projections of Zen 4. Well, it looks like that info is once again going to change because we have a couple of new benchmarks for a raptor lake processor, and it's even faster than before!
So, the first benchmark was found by @benchleaks, and it's a geekbench benchmark of the 13900K. Yesterday, a run of the benchmark was posted with a single core score of 2 212 points, and a multi-core score of about 25500 points. In the last video, that was 2133 points in single and 23700 in multi-core. So in less than a month, we got quite a performance boost. But it doesn't end there. Earlier today ANOTHER Geekbench run was made and its even better. It got 2314 points in single-core, and 26 464 points in multi-core! INSANE! If we compare this to the mid july leak, the 13900K is now 8.5% Faster in single thread, and 11.6% faster in multi-core. Now if we compare it to the 12900K, we’re looking at a single thread bump of 16.5% and a multi-core score bump of 53%! That’s crazy!

AMD Ryzen 7000 RELEASE DATE Leaked! It’s EARLY!
Let’s get started with AMD. It looks like Christmas is coming early! The company just had its earnings call for the second quarter of this year, and they had some pretty interesting information about the release date. As you know, the Zen 4 based generation on the AM5 platform was announced during Computex. Or at least the release windows were announced, and it was slated for the fall of 2022.
I know I’ve been saying that a lot lately, but fall is between the 22nd of September, to the 21st of December. Recently, what we’ve been hearing is a release date of September 15th. So I was pretty skeptical about that date because it's before fall. Now though, during that earnings call, Lisa said, Let me play the clip. * Looking ahead, we are on track to launch our all-new 5-nanometer Ryzen 7000 desktop processors and AM5 platforms later this quarter, with leading performance in gaming and content creation.” So yeah, it looks like the 15th is the actual release date! Another thing that caught my attention is this : *Our next-generation RDNA three architecture is another major step forward for our graphics roadmap, delivering more than a 50% generational improvement in performance per watt by combining our most advanced gaming architecture with 5-nanometer triplet manufacturing.*
Now it might just be an oversight, or maybe I’m wrong about this, but by Dr Su saying that they’re combining their best tech with 5nm chiplet manufacturing, doesn't that point towards a multi-chiplet GPU?

Nvidia’s RTX 4070 Ti Might be a MASSIVE LEAP Forward!
Let’s get started with Nvidia. We’ve heard plenty of leaks and rumors when it comes to the highest-end model of their next generation of GPUs. Apparently “The beast”, that’s the nickname the leaker gave it, is an 800W monstrosity with 18 176 Cuda cores, 48Gb of GDDR6X memory with a data rate of 24Gbps. Now obviously, this is not for the average gamer. Heck, I don't think it's ever going to go to gamers. It looks more like a professional GPU, like the Quadro A series but anyway.
This is not where most gamers are looking. We’re looking at the ones right under that. A hypothetical RTX 4080, 70, or 60. So what’s new there? Well first, a couple of days ago, kopite 7 kimi over on Twitter gave us a glimpse on these next-gen models. Here, he says that the RTX 4080 would score around 15000 points, while the 4070 would score around 10 000 points. He also said prior to these tweets that the 4090 could score around 19 000 points. Ok so let's put that into perspective.
In the RTX 3000 series, the average RTX 3090, in that same benchmark, would score just under 10 000 points. That would put the future RTX 4070 on par, or better than an RTX 3090. And of course, the RTX 4080 would blow the 3090 and 3090 ti out of the water. I mean to even get close to 15 000 points, an RTX 3090 ti needs to be overclocked to an insane 2.85Ghz. That’s an overclock of 40% which obviously doesn't happen in a regular case. There's a reason this guy is number one on the leaderboard.

AMD's Ryzen 7600X is 55% FASTER Than The 5600X? WHAT?
Let’s get started with AMD, and boy do we have a lot to cover since I kind of waited to get ourselves a little roundup of AMD-specific news. So first let’s talk about adrenalin. That’s their driver software, and the update just got released. In it, we get a feature that was leaked last week, AMD Noise Suppression. It sounds alright.
I tested it for a few minutes on this PC and while it does the job, it lacks tweaking. For example, the feature in the app is just on or off. You don't really get a slider as you do with Nvidia broadcast. Plus, I could hear keypresses here and there while typing. I give a C for coolness but it definitely would not pass the barnacles test Like RTX voice did * Show clip of barn *.
Anyways, that driver update also brings some performance improvements with OpenGL apps. According to AMD, in Minecraft, at 4K with settings at fabulous, their GPUs saw their framerates almost double. Now, this is some serious optimization.
Cool stuff AMD. But now let's move on to some unofficial stuff aka some leaks! what we now know is that their 7600X was benchmarked on userbenchmark. Now its a bad website to do a comparison between intel and AMD, but it's fine for the same brands in my opinion. According to that test, the 7600X is an absolute beast. It's still a 6-core CPU with 12 threads, and of course, it's an engineering sample so it might be an older chip, but look at that! This was compiled by Harukaze from the benchmark, and it shows that AMD scores 55% faster in single-core when compared to the 5600X. That’s just insanity. When it came to multi-core though, things look different with a still impressive 23% uplift.

00:00 AMD Noise Suppression and Driver Updates
01:45 RX 7000 GPU Release Windows CHANGED!
03:18 Ryzen 7000 series Naming Scheme and 7600X Benchmarked!
Only ONE RTX 4000 Series GPU Coming In 2022?!
Let's get started with Nvidia. The next generation of GPUs has been quite the topic of discussion in the last couple of months. We heard that Nvidia has a monster of a GPU that was tested with an 800W TDP and that AMD has an RDNA 3 model that is way bigger than expected with 2 graphics chiplet. Something that we previously thought wasn't in the cards.
Anyways, lately, you might have heard that Nvidia is kind of in trouble. Because of the crypto crash and all of the used cards that flooded the market, they essentially have an overstock of RTX 3000 series chips. So, they tried to to cut orders at TSMC for their 5nm process, but TSMC said, Nah. You ordered the capacity, you’re going to use it. And that brought on the rumor that we wouldn't see RTX 4000 series GPUs in 2022, and that they could be delayed up to a year.
Actually, that specific rumor came from JayzTwoCents. It seems he’s been getting a lot of flack lately for some of the things he said but anyways.
The leakosphere over on Twitter are kind of partially agreeing with him. Now though, with the crash and more information, It looks like there is in fact a delay. According to greymon 55, we’re only getting one GPU this year. The rest are going to show up early next year. Specifically, Only one model of the AD102 chip will make it in 2022. AD102 is the highest-end chip so think RTX 4090. The rest of the lineup would apparently come in next year.
So that’s for Nvidia’s side, what about AMD? Well, because how these 2 are the leading companies, AMD can simply wait and see. If Nvidia doesn't release anything major, this gives the chance to AMD to sell more RX 6000 stock without a new release. Its a simple duopoly.

AMD Gets BACK at Nvidia with this Leaked AI Feature!
Lets get started with AMD. One of the biggest struggle this company has to deal with when compared to the its competitors is its size, but they;re growing FAST. Intel is the biggest by far with over 100 thousand employees, and Nvidia is about 30 to 40% bigger than AMD with just over 22 thousand employees.
The big difference here being that AMD does everything, where as Nvidia is just slightly more specialized. So companies like intel and Nvidia can dedicate a lot of resources into specific innovations for consumers. AMD is never far behind though, and today, they made a tiny little mistake and accidentally leaked their next feature to compete with Nvidia.
Its called Noise Suppression, and you guessed it, its the AMD equivalent of RTX voice. Now excuse the low res video, but this is what was leaked. It enhances audio powered by a real time deep learning algorithm. Its actually going to work exactly like RTX voice. It creates an input or an output channel where you can direct the noise suppression. It says it works across various apps and games, but if it behaves like RTX voice, it should work with pretty much anything.
Now as you can see, this was leaked, meaning the feature isnt available yet, but given that its part of the Adrenalin software, That’s basically AMD’s driver and software suite, it should be rolling out in the next major update. Personally, I love to see this. FSR 2.0 combatting DLSS, AMD Noise suppression against RTX voice, all we need now is something similar to RTX broadcasts other features like background removal and blurring, video noise reduction, auto frame etc etc.

AMD's Ryzen 7000 Could be in SERIOUS Trouble Against Raptor Lake!
Lets get started with intel. We’ve talk a lot about raptor lake over the last couple of weeks. That’s because engineering samples have been popping up left and right. But it was always the same CPU. always the highest end. The 13900k. Obviously, this isnt the intel CPU that most people would buy. Or even the best value for your money.
For example, Right now on the 12th generation, the 12400F and 12600K are the best bang for your buck. Even when compared to AMD’s offerings. So what is intel going to bring to the 13th generation in that bracket.
Well, now we know thanks to another leak coming from china! Enthusiastic citizen, a leaker which keeps gettings his hands on next gen products just got an Engineering sample of the 13600K, and he clocked it to match a Qualifying sample of the same chip. So thats 5.1Ghz for all the Performance cores and 4Ghz for the E cores. Those are probably not final though since QS and ES samples are essentially the same thing.
So about that 13600K, Im not going to lie, if intel is going to keep the same price structure, AMD might be in trouble .
Anyways, going into that leak, we now know that intel is also going to double the E-Cores on that CPU. So instead of 10 cores, with 6P and 4E cores on the 12600K, we’re getting 6P cores and 8 E cores. So 14 cores and 20 threads.
The leaker tested the CPU in 2 benchmarks, CPUZ and Cinebench R23. In CPU Z, it scores 830 points in the single thread test and 10031 points in the multi core test.
That’s about 8% faster in single core compared to the 12600K and a massive 81% increase in the multi threaded test. There was also a cinebench run but the results were odd with the chip being 40% faster in multi core, but tanking it being 26% slower in single core.

I bought this on Aliexpress a couple of weeks ago, it's the anbernic RG353P, a handheld retro gaming console. Now let's be honest, this isn’t exclusively for my girlfriend. Obviously, I'm going to use it too, in fact, I’ve been using it for the last couple of weeks, and I love it. My goal was to find something that would work out of the box with no issues and could run 99% of the games I want it to. Spoilers, it's good. So let's start the review, shall we?
In the box, which btw, mine got a little wet in the corner, thank you very much DHL for keeping my console hydrated, but inside, you’ll find the console itself, a USB C cable, a screen protector, and the manual.
As you can see, this thing reminds me a lot of my 8bit do SN 30 pro controller. It's got the grey body, the 2 tone purple buttons, and every joystick, D-pads, and triggers you’d need for any console games. Build quality-wise, this thing is ROCK solid. The D-pad feels great, the face buttons are responsive, the joysticks are great, and thank god, they went with a proper trigger configuration. I hate it when the L and R buttons are side by side. Stacked like this is perfect.

Intel ARC Alchemist GPU's are REALLY BAD VALUE!
The company unveiled their arc GPUs last year, and since then, it seems like it's just been bad news after bad news. First, we thought it would release in the last quarter of last year but they announced them for Q1 2022. Then intel failed to deliver and readjusted the timeline for Q2 2022, then it turns out they weren’t planning on selling these things to everyone. Only to very specific Asian markets.
Then we heard that desktop variants would pop up in Q2, Q2 happened and all we got was the Arc A380, one of the low-end GPU’s, and once again, only in a very specific market. Now that we’re in Q3, according to intel, we should be seeing higher-end GPU’s. Gaming and workstation. Guess what, Nothing.
All we really are getting are benchmarks of the A380 or specific laptop models. Like for example, this week, new 3Dmark benchmarks for the A550M and A770M popped up.
In this leak, the a550M, which is supposed to be a mid-tier laptop GPU, has a graphics score of about 6000 points in the 3D mark time spy benchmark. That’s not a horrible score. It's about GTX 1660 levels of performance. But that GPU is already out the window. Do you want to know why? Because it's a terrible value proposition.
Let me explain, first, the benchmark. While 3D mark time spy can be a somewhat fine way of calculating relative gaming performance, the fact is that intel optimized for it and this result is just an inflated result. It says it here too. Rule-breaking driver optimizations. So we can expect that the regular driver will be worse.

Let’s get started with some CPU news. The war of the next generation is coming quite soon. On the AMD side, the company has been talking a whole lot about their Ryzen 7000 series based on the Zen 4 architecture. We know the average IPC increase, we’ve seen some phenomenal clock speeds in gaming, and AMD gave us some idea of what we can expect. Over a 15% increase in Single-threaded performance and Robert Hallock mentioned a 40% increase in the multi-threaded scores. All of these numbers are super impressive, but will it be enough to beat intel again?
I mean intel has been working on raptor lake, but the company hasn't really been advertising this new architecture that much. Instead, we’re left with information coming from leakers and benchmarks of engineering samples. Still, it looks promising. Especially with the leak we have today.
This information comes from Benchleaks over on Twitter, and it's a geekbench 5 run of the upcoming 13900K. I just want to add a little grain of salt here before we get into it, because the run does have a warning saying that the timer on the system had a problem so the score is invalid, but I dont think we should discount it completely. In this benchmark, the 13900k scored 2133 points in the single-core section and 23 701 points in the multi-threaded one. That’s an excellent score.

The QUIETEST Keyboard Switches I've EVER HEARD! - GamaKay Switches
Over the years, I’ve tried my fair share of keyboard switches, but I mainly stuck to the widely available ones that come pre-installed on keyboards. Well, today I decided it was time for me to get into something a little more exotic. And that’s what we’re doing, on your boot sequence.
Personally, when I started to delve into the mechanical keyboard game, I naturally chose Blue switches. I dont know why, but it seems like overall, as a beginner clicky blues just SCREAM at you “ I’m finally a gamer with a mechanical keyboard” That’s Until you’re about 3 months into owning that keyboard and you realize that the keyboard is literally just screaming at you. Especially at night.
Anyways, since those beginner days, I’ve been trying all kinds of switches and I’ve landed on these. At home, I use good old cherry MX reds, and at work I use a razer keyboard that has the razor yellow switch. But im trying to get more into custom stuff, so I asked some companies to send me some switches, and voila. My current collection. I got Gateron, Cherry, Kailh, and Gamakays. I do have to respect very specific conditions. What we’re looking for here are the stealthiest switches. So let’s listen up.
Now there’s a winner here, and it's these right here. They’re called Phoenix Silent switches and they’re made by gamakay. I also have their bumblebee and crystal switches here, but they’re more of a standard linear switch.

AMD’s FSR 2.0 Mods are TAKING OVER DLSS!
Let's get started with AMD! So a couple of videos ago, we talked about a mod from the Nexusmods website that someone made for Cyberpunk 2077. Cyberpunk supports 2 Upscaling technologies, FSR 1.0 and one of the newer versions of DLSS. What the mod did was take the DLSS implementation, and scrap it to instead be FSR 2.0.
it looks like after User potato of doom posted it on Nexusmods, the community took that mod and ran with it. There is now a mod for Cyberpunk 2077 with some bugs, Dying light 2, red dead redemption 2, Metro exodus enhanced edition. However, there is some ghosting issue there, Marvel's Guardians of the galaxy, Death stranding, there are some motion vector issues with lower resolution modes here, Horizon Zero Dawn with some hair glitchiness, and Control with some minor menu glitches.
If this tells us anything, it's that one: Modding communities are awesome, and two: What are developers waiting for ? If dlss and FSR 2.0 are so similar, why are more games not getting official support?
In any case, the original modder and some of the people who made the other mods based on his work are currently trying to make a universal version of this mod. A version where you wouldn't have to fiddle with the games folder and all. You’d run an executable file, and it would do all of its magic.
So what are your thoughts on this? Would you actively mod your game to support FSR 2.0? Or are you fine with just lowering the settings? I'm not going to lie, those screenshots I’ve been seeing of the mod makes it pretty tempting to just ditch DLSS for FSR 2.0. Especially if you run a non-RTX GPU.

More Ryzen 5000X3D CPU's Coming SOON?!
Let’s get started with AMD, A couple of weeks ago, when the company finally unveiled the Zen 4 architecture during Computex 2022, Dr Lisa Su was very specific in her choice of words when it came to the current platform of their CPU’s. Specifically, the AM4 platform.
AM4 lived a really long life. I mean, I bought my 1700X with a B350 motherboard back in 2017. And I could technically upgrade to the latest and greatest CPU without any issues 5 years later. Seriously, according to the compatibility list, I could get a 5950X or a 5800X3D on this board, so Im golden. But now that the focus is switching to Zen 4 and the AM5 socket, what will happen to AM4?
Well, Dr Lisa Su was very clear. She said: AM4 isn't going anywhere and will continue to serve the PC gaming segment for the foreseeable future. And right after she said that we started hearing rumors after rumors of what this meant.
Well, Just recently, Leaker extraordinaire Greymon 55 tweeted this : It's been rumored in the last few days that there will be several new products for ZEN3D. It's true, and there will be further information next month. He also added : There will also be new low-end AM4 products in the future.
Honestly, there are no reasons why AMD wouldn't release newer versions of Zen 3D. We know that they have tested the 5900X with 3D V cache since well, they showed it to us back in 2021. It still had a great performance boost in gaming and you get the benefit of those 12 cores. Plus, with threadripper gone for gaming slash creator tasks, a 5950X3D would give us a threadripper like CPU. - Side note, for those of you who said threadripper was never a gaming CPU, It was at the start, I mean they even had a game mode up to the 2950X.
But yeah, To give longevity to the AM4 platform, 3D V Cache is the way to go. And on the other end of the spectrum, a 5600X3D could be a good chip although I wonder if the extra cache would give this one as much of a bump in performance as with the 5800X3d.

AMD Just Killed Ryzen THREADRIPPER For Enthusiasts!
Checkout Jawa here please 😊: https://www.jawa.gg/?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=bootsequence&utm_campaign=May24
Let's get started with AMD. Back in 2017, the company really shook the industry with their Ryzen processors. they brought CPUs with performance that rivaled intel’s Mainstream offerings while keeping the price relatively low at the time.
I mean back when the first Ryzen chips came up, Intel capped their mainstream CPU’s to 4 cores. If you wanted anything more, you had to jump to the HEDT platform which costs a heck of a lot more. The 6900K which was Intel’s 8 core at the time costs a whopping 1100$.
Now, of course, intel did counter pretty quickly and was able to stay competitive for a long time. Except when it came to their HEDT platform. The same year, AMD pulled up with the Threadripper lineup. The first generation was really impressive with up to 16 cores and 32 threads. All of that for 1000 dollars. Second generation Threadripper then popped up in 2018, and Boom, double that core count with up to 32 cores and intel’s HEDT lineup was essentially dead. The chip was pretty expensive at 1800$ but that felt like a steal.
Then 3rd gen Threadripper came up and once again, double the cores at up to 64 for the 3990WX. Now with that third generation, AMD also introduced the Pro Lineup of Threadripper CPUs. A CPU only available through OEMs.
Unfortunately, it looks like the Pro Lineup Killed the regular Threadripper. In a blog post by amd last week, the company said that they would unify both line-ups to just Threadripper pro. And the pricing was just released for these models. It's rough. With the third generation, 24 cores were 1400$. That’s the 3960X Now with the pro models, It's 2400$. Want a 32-core? Last gen it was 2000$, now it's 3300. How about the massive 64 core? It used to be 3990$, Now 6500 dollars. Basically, you’re paying just below the price of an EPYC CPU. I mean, technically some EPYC cpu’s that have 64 cores are even cheaper than their Epyc counterpart.

Lets get started with AMD. A little earlier in the year, AMD unveiled something that I was particularly interested in, A slide that talks about their next generation of laptop chips. Now of course, the reason why I’m so interested in Mobile chips is because they usually find their way onto the desktop market eventually under the G series of APU’s.
Going back, the information we got was pretty scarce, but it definitely gave us an idea of what AMD is planning on doing. Instead of having a single chip manufactured and binned for all of the laptops, That’s what they’re currently doing, AMD would now split it into 2 different chips for 2 different product segments.
First, theres the codename Phoenix chip. This one is for thin and light. Its a Zen 4 chip with support for PCie Gen 5, and LPDDR5. Since its for Slim laptops, its relatively low power at a 35-45W cTDP. So that’s the info we had, Now though, leaker extraordinaire Paul from RedGamingTech received some Insight from his sources about phoenix.
This CPU would apparently be built for balance. Great CPU, and Great GPU. So you get the same amount of cores as we’ve seen on mobile chips, 8. And the same amount of compute units as the last generation of mobile chips. 12 CU’s. The difference here is of course the generational change. Like Zen 4 and RDNA 3 graphics. The graphics chip here seems very promising with paul approximating 9.2TFlops of compute power. To give you an example, this is just under an RX 6600XT in terms of compute power.

Nvidia RTX 4070 Only Has 10GB of MEMORY?! Is That Enough?
Subscribe to Morning Brew : https://morningbrewdaily.com/bootsequence
A couple videos ago, I did the rundown of the rumored specs of the next generation of Nvidia Cards. I literally waited a couple of weeks before covering that because these kinds of things change a lot.
The reason why is pretty simple. Right now, nothing is really set in stone when it comes to these chips right not. I remember reading an igorlab article detailing an approximation of a GPU’s production timeline. According to him, We know the architecture, we might have an idea of the max core count for each chip from whispers in the industry, but nothing is set in stone for the RTX 4000 series.
During the first quarter of the year, we would have been in the Electrical and thermal design phase for RTX 4000. At the same time, the 3090 ti got announced and was a sort of proof of viability for the next generations' power consumption.
right now Engeneering samples , are getting shipped out to AIB’s and Design validation testing is going to happen in early to mid july. So as we get closer, and in the next month, we’ll see those leaks get more and more robust.
In fact, they changed again about a day ago. Just to highlight the changes, the RTX 4090 is currently testing at 16384 cuda cores, with 24GB of GDDR6X at 21Gbps, and a TDP of 450w.so the same as the last leak.
The RTX 4080 though was tweaked a little to 10240 cuda cores, Kopite, the leaker, is unsure of the rest of the specs but proposes 16GB of memory, all at 420w.
And lastly, theres the RTX 4070. It would sport 7168 cuda cores, that’s a lot less than the last leaks, it would also have 10GB of GDDR6, so 2GB less than the previous leaks, and all that at a 300W TDP. That 3070 spec is kind of interesting. I mean a lot of people, me included were clowning on the 3070 and 3080 for having less than 12 gb of memory, and at the time, we were kind of right, some games wouldn't even run at the highest settings because of Vram allocation. Nowadays though, things changed.

AMD’s Ryzen 7000 CPU With 3D-V Cache Coming WHEN?!
Checkout Jawa here please 😊: https://www.jawa.gg/?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=bootsequence&utm_campaign=May24
Today in the news, RDNA 3 gets a new chip, it smells like 3D-V cache is back and more. What is up guys I’m snows and this is your boot sequence.
Let’s talk AMD CPUs. The Zen 3 architecture made its debut back in what? 2020 I think on the desktop market? We got the Ryzen 5950X, 5900X 5800X, and 5600X all at once. Fast forward about 6 months to Computex 2021, and AMD decides to tease us with their new technology, 3D V Cache. Initially, they teased it on the 5900X and it freaking gave the chip close to 200 MB of cache and also, a healthy boost of about 15% in gaming performance. In the end though, about a whole year later, AMD settled on adding this technology to the 5800X to get what we now know as the 5800X3D. Still a gaming monster at a specific resolution, but not the 5900X3d that I would have hoped. So it took a whole year and a half to see this thing coming together. Will we have to wait as long for the next generation? Nope. Apparently, we’re going to see that happen this year.
This was kind of missed during the financial analyst day from AMD but it's pretty clear. Take a listen.
So essentially, we’ll barely have to wait . the zen 4 architecture is slated to release in the fall of this year. Some say mid-September, but the official word is just in fall. Since Sahid Mosheklani said that Ryzen 7000 with 3D V Cache would be featured later this year, we can either look at it as AMD teasing the product this year, or launching it outright.
I mean the added cache on the 5800X3D Clearly has a huge impact on a lot of games, and I could see it being a quick and easy performance upgrade for a 6 and 8 cores CPU in the future generations. I just hope that more than one chip will have it. [...]

Let's get started with AMD, The company has been teasing their Next generation of CPU’s for the better part of a year now. But During CES and followed by their Financial analyst day we got a huge info dump. 5.5Ghz +, a new 6nm IO die with graphics built in, an 8 to 10% improvement in IPC, fast DDR5 speeds, etc etc. But we didn't get a release date, Just a release window of FALL 2022. Fall is 3 months long, so is it early like September
Well, today, a picture was leaked of a presentation done in china with an alleged internal slide. That slide contains a release date of September 15th. Now, of course, take this pic with a grain of salt, especially since fall isn't starting until well, September 22nd.
Moving on, it looks like AMD is about to make an extremely similar move to intel. A couple of months ago, I made a video called intel just did the unthinkable. That video covered intel’s one billion dollar fund to Build a Foundry Innovation Ecosystem. Basically sharing their fab and patents. One thing that was cool about this fund is that intel would allow third parties to design chips that would be.. How can I say that in an elegant way, Glued together with intel’s chips using their “Open Chiplet Platform”. It’s pretty cool stuff.
Well now, AMD is about to do the same. You could have a CPU, GPU, AI, And a third party chiplet on the same package. AMD does have an advantage though since they now have a huge portfolio of arm-based designs thanks to their purchase of Xilinx and network chip designs from Pensando. Its going to be interesting to see if either intel or AMD plan on bringing those kinds of multi chip processors with 3rd party chiplets into the mainstream.
Speaking of chip designs, TSMC Just released some more information on their 3nm process. Unlike N4 which is an optimized version of their 5nm process, their N3 process node is a complete step-down.. But in a good way of course. First there's the baseline N3 process. This one is actually getting produced in the second half of this year. It would offer between 10 and 15% extra performance at the same power consumption of an N5-based chip.

GPU Prices are GOING DOWN! Should You Buy One?
It’s finally happening ! GPU prices are finally way down and it looks like it's just going to get better for us. All of this is thanks to the crypto price collapse which I mean sure is great for the gpu market, but Still. RIP bitcoin.
Anyways, in 2022, pricing of used and new GPU's have been going down steadily. Something like 10% a month in the last 4 to 5 months. Toms hardware has been keeping tabs on these prices and some GPUs are actually below MSRP. Something I didn’t think I’d be able to say until the next generation of GPUs came along.
If we look at the retail market, so brand new gpu’s , the price cuts aren’t that impressive. I mean a lot of them are still above MSRP especially on the Nvidia side like the rtx 3060, but its still cheaper than it was when I bought my own. Still, you can see that they’re steadily approaching the MSRP. On the AMD side of things, barring the 6800 and 6800 XT, the rest of the lineup is either at MSRP or slightly lower!
On the used market though, things are a lot cheaper than before. Toms hardware did a comparison with the “buy it now” option on eBay, meaning that this is the price you would pay for it, and look at this!
Some Nvidia GPU’s are selling below MSRP like the 3090, 3080 ti, 3080, 3070 ti, etc etc. There are some exceptions here but its nice to see the price go down. Now if we look at the Red team, Most of the GPU’s are posted below MSRP. [...]

Another Intel 13th Gen Raptor Lake Benchmark LEAKED!
Checkout Jawa here please 😊: https://www.jawa.gg/?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=bootsequence&utm_campaign=May24
Let's get started with Nvidia. So, obviously, we’ve been covering pretty much everything when it comes to the next generation of GPU's. Every core count that was rumored, any TDP numbers that came up, but I’ve never really discussed the possible release windows of the RTX 4000 series.
Well, That’s because it was pretty much all over the place with different leakers giving us different date ranges. So, I decided to wait for a little while the dust settled and everyone agreed on the same timeframe. The early leaks pointed at a split release for the 3 top-tier cards. The rtx 4090, 4080, and 4070. So each card’s release would be spaced by a month, so that’s 4090 in august, 4080 in September and 4070 after that. Those are all of the launches for 2022. The 4060 would be a CES 2023 launch and of course, anything else would come after.
Now though, the consensus seems to be that those release dates have been pushed by a month. So the 4090 would come in September, 4080 in October, and the 4070 in November. The 4060 launch even would still be at CES. Of course, these release dates dont mean that the cards would be announced a month apart. Just like the 3000 series and the 2000 series before that, the top 3 cards could all be announced at the same time with the timeframe likely being in august. So yeah, there you go! An update on the 4000 series release dates.
Moving on, let’s talk about intel! The 13th generation of their core CPUs is right around the corner, and with the leaks that have been popping out, it looks like a beast. The latest of those leaks is a Sis software benchmark for the i9 13900. This should be a lower clocked, non-overclockable version of the chip. [...]

AMD just had their Financial Analyst day today and they just spoiled us with a ton of information for all of their upcoming products. So let’s get into some of it!
First, there's the entire core architecture roadmap. AMD basically gave us a list of architectures that are going to be released in some way in the next 2 and half years. We got Zen 4, obviously, Zen 4 V cache, interesting but we’ll get back to it soon, and Zen 4C which is in their Bergamo Epyc CPU’s. Those would be utilizing TSMC’s 5 and 4 nm process nodes. Past that, theres also Zen 5, Zen 5 V cache and Zen 5C. Those on the other hand are on 4 and 3 nm’s.
going back to zen 4 though, mark paper master answered a question that was on everybody’s mind about that next-generation architecture. What are the instructions per clock, AKA the IPC gains? Well, their testing found somewhere between 8 to 10%. This wasnt Just cinebench though. This was thoroughly tested with SpecInt 2017, Cinebench and geekbench. So that number is fairly final.
Add to that the insane clocks we saw during the last event, and its a pretty healthy boost in performance if you ask me. In fact, AMD claims over a 25% improvement in performance per watt compared to Zen 3 and over a 35% increase in their cinebench multi-threaded score.
They also talked about the next generation of mobile APUs. We talked about that a couple of weeks ago, but it's now official. Zen 4 APU’s codenamed Phoenix Point will come with RDNA 3 graphics. Not only that, but it will be based on the 4nm node. There was no mention of the beefier dragon range APUs, but AMD did confirm it would come so we’ll just have to wait and see. Zen 5 mobile APU's on the other hand would have RDNA 3+ graphics. Both of these would feature AI extensions.

Intel Alchemist GPU's are CHEATING BENCHMARKS!
Subscribe to Morning Brew : https://morningbrewdaily.com/bootsequence
Well friends, we’ve been bamboozled. Actually, no. I’ve been bamboozled by my own memory. So on Monday, we looked at a benchmark for an upcoming Intel GPU. Specifically, the Alchemist A730M. Now, the benchmark in question was 3dmark’s Timespy. And in my experience, while its hit and miss on some games, you can generally count on it to be a good estimate for the performance of a GPU.
The Alchemist A730M scored pretty well with 10107 points. Some even got scores of 10500 ish points. That score puts it above the RTX 3070 and below the full-fledged 3070 ti laptop gpu’s. So, how did I get bamboozled? well, 2 ways really.
First, while I did mention that their drivers were bad in the last video, I didn’t really factor in how bad they were and the fact that, well its a new player in the game. I’ve spoken to mike at hardwarecanucks since they test a metric ton of laptops every year, and he essentially told me that yeah, Intel’s current drivers are just not at the level of AMD’s or Nvidia’s. At least the good news here is that it can only go up from here. I mean we saw how much of a difference a driver update can make on the performance of a game. AMD’s last GPU releases came with a driver update that boosted the performance in games by anywhere from 3 to 25%. So yeah, only up from here for intel.
Anyways, the second way I got bamboozled, or I guess I bamboozled you guys is by completely forgetting Intel’s own words. Back on the 30th of march, intel released a blogpost. This blog post was for a special driver that would get released in April. It didn't release in april so I kind of forgot about it but it did release in may, and it explains a lot of what we’re seeing here.
