1 1/4 cup warm water 2 tsp active dry yeast 1 tsp sugar 3 1/4 cup all purpose flour 2 tbs butter 2 tsp salt can be topped with poppy seeds, and or coarse salt, do so after rolhiky rises, before placing in oven. great with butter, ham, cheese, jam, salami, or whatever you wish to stuff them with. 1- 14.5oz can diced tomatoes, untrained 2 cans rotel (I used mild, but would suggest medium or hot) 1- 14.5oz can chicken broth 1- cup quaker medium barley 4- cups water 1- tbs chili powder 1- tsp cumin abt 1.5 lb cooked, diced, chicken breast(bite sized) 1- 15oz can black beans drained 1- 15.5oz can corn, drained *optional* shredded cheddar cheese sour cream salt to taste, I found that it needs salt, added 1 tbs.
