This Cat Loves Rock And Roll - Blackie The Cat And Loudon Wainwright iii - Town And Country #shorts
G'Day, I'm Big Paul aka Lad From The Woods. @ladfromthewoods A proud 1960s rebel, rock and roller, ex-biker, strip club manager, truck driver, and party animal, are amongst my long list of interesting diversions since 1962.
If you're expecting Scorsese you're in the wrong place. My videos are raw and unedited just like myself. This also means YouTube and their advertisers do not like me or my content but I will never sell myself out for them or anyone else. Advertisers that don't like me? Piss off then.
I'm just doing real life, not some epic, like YouTube, was originally meant to be.
❌ Disclaimer: Please do know that I do not place any of the ads in this video. Nor am I monetized due to YouTube's stupid ass rules.
So I am totally reliant on you the viewer for help.

Moving right along now lol
I'm rough around the edges, very real and very blunt, and not easy to like, but if you're cool then I'm cool, if you're not cool then GFY's 🤪
I live on 100 acres of bush in the Ottawa Valley of Eastern Ontario, Canada and live full time in my 1989 33ft Travelaire RV with my 3 cats Wally, Blackie, and Goldie here at Winterfell Hunt and Fish Camp in the Canadian wilderness. I love fishing, hunting, ice fishing, camping, road trips, partying, 4-wheeling, motorcycling, full-time RV life, cooking, growing great weed and happy fungus, consuming coffee, whiskey and weed, and much more.
Have a fishing boat known as the F/V "Quadrophenia" and is named for the famous "The Who" album. I also have my forever loved 4-wheeler a 660cc Yamaha Grizzly named "Moonie" which I ride far too crazy for my age!
I'm Canadian/American My family settled in the Bruce Peninsula, Ontario, and South Eastern Michigan in the early 1800s. Spent my summers back in the '60s and '70s between Ontario and Michigan. Outside of my mother, I'm the last of our side of the family still vertical in Canada.
I suffer from PTSD and live on a disability pension but am surviving one day at a time. Needless to say, I've lived a hard life but have always done it my way with good results or not. No regrets.
I'm also a 2-time UFO witness and am a 100% believer.
My life mantra from Hunter S Thompson:
“Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!”
“No sympathy for the devil; keep that in mind. Buy the ticket, take the ride...and if it occasionally gets a little heavier than what you had in mind, well...maybe chalk it up to forced consciousness expansion: Tune in, freak out, get beaten.”
― Hunter S. Thompson
So join me for a different and unique kinda ride or don't lol.
Peace and long life, live long and prosper everyone and thank you / merci for the visit 🖖🏻

🎵 The Band Of Heathens - Walls (Tom Petty cover) - New Rock and Roll - REACTION
🎵 The Band Of Heathens - Walls (Tom Petty cover) - New Rock and Roll - REACTION
The Band of Heathens is an American rock and roll band from Austin, Texas. The band was originally formed by Colin Brooks, Ed Jurdi and Gordy Quist in 2005.
Austin, Texas roots rockers the Band of Heathens play music that filters contemporary singer/songwriter and alt-country flavours through the guiding influence of dusty 1970s soft rock. Founded by three songwriters, the group specializes in tales with a distinct Southern flavour and characters with a taste for misadventure, buoyed by tasteful arrangements and harmonies.
Formed in Austin, the Band of Heathens became a group totally by accident. Songwriters Colin Brooks, Gordy Quist, and Ed Jurdi were all doing regular sets at Momo's in Austin when they began sitting in with each other, eventually making the whole thing one big show that they called the Good Time Supper Club, which was essentially three singer/songwriters in the round backed by a solid rhythm section of John Chipman on drums and Seth Whitney on bass. What started out as a spontaneous side project soon became a full-fledged rock & roll band.

🎵 - New Rockabilly Music - Southern Culture On The Skids - Sugar Town (Nancy Sinatra ) - REACTION
🎵 - New Rockabilly - Southern Culture On The Skids - Sugar Town (Nancy Sinatra cover) - REACTION
Southern Culture on the Skids, also sometimes known as SCOTS, is an American rock band formed in 1983 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The band plays country and rockabilly songs featuring humorous lyrics inspired by the culture of the Southern United States.
Southern Culture on the Skids' music is difficult to classify singularly, as the band incorporates several different musical styles into its own unique sound.
Guitarist/singer Rick Miller has described the band's sound as "Americana from the wrong side of the tracks." It incorporates elements of punk, garage, hillbilly, novelty and beach music.
This sound has been classified as country, rockabilly, Southern rock, R&B, surf, psychedelic, psychobilly and roots rock. The band originally focused primarily on rock music styles, but would later focus primarily on country music.
SCOTS' lyrics are generally very upbeat, as they usually write and perform songs about dancing, sex, and fried chicken, which are the main themes in songs such as "Cheap Motels," "Soul City," and "Eight Piece Box."
They are also known for their live shows, which often include throwing fried chicken and banana pudding into the audience, and audience members invited to dance onstage. As a general rule, they are not hostile toward non-commercial taping of their shows

🎵 - New Blues Rock Music - Chris Duarte Group - Angry Man - REACTION
🎵 - New Blues Rock Music - Chris Duarte Group - Angry Man - REACTION
Chris Duarte (born February 16, 1963) is an American guitarist, singer, and songwriter. Duarte plays a style of Texas blues-rock that draws on elements of jazz, blues, and rock and roll.
In his own words, his musical style is a combination of "rockin' blues" and "punk blues." He is signed to Shrapnel Records.
To classify Chris Duarte simply as a Blues Man is an understatement. In his own words, “rockin’ blues” or ”punk blues” describes him best. “Ferocious blues” also fits. Legend has it that Chris will play so hard that his fingers bleed in a set. The legend is true. Photos attest.
Chris Duarte is a road warrior playing more than 150 dates a year. As well, Chris has headlined major festivals and clubs throughout the US, Canada and Europe.
Chris is a savant, a sorcerer of tone, a master at channelling the spirits and sounds of great musicians of our past while remaining completely recognizable in his own sound. He has shared his stage with many of the greatest musicians of our time as well as the multitude of “young lions” and local musicians he meets on the road. From his many years as a side man in Austin, he easily changes roles from front to side, graciously allowing all to share the conversation of the jam.
Chris Duarte’s music is ever-changing. In many interviews, he has said “Music must evolve.” His own early offerings often become magical journeys into changing tempo and jazzy interludes before returning to their core. With such a vast catalogue of recordings, there are no two shows alike. Every set list is different, and each song may be offered distinctly, based on the feel of a show and the audience.
For those reasons, loyal fans often return to a Chris Duarte show again and again, and always walk away awed and satisfied to have witnessed such a legendary, but humble guitarist.
The Chris Duarte Group emerged on the scene out of Austin, Texas in the early 90s and gained notoriety after wowing a packed room of industry insiders at the South X Southwest convention. In the wake of Stevie Ray Vaughan’s passing, Duarte quickly gained a National reputation as a young man imbued with a playing style comparable at times to the late guitarist.

🎵 - New Rock and Roll Music - The Monkees - You Bring The Summer - REACTION
🎵 - New Rock and Roll Music - The Monkees - You Bring The Summer - REACTION
The Monkees were an American rock and pop band, formed in Los Angeles in 1966, whose line-up consisted of the American actor/musicians Micky Dolenz, Michael Nesmith and Peter Tork alongside English actor/singer Davy Jones.
The group was conceived in 1965 by television producers Bob Rafelson and Bert Schneider for the situation comedy series of the same name. Music credited to the band was released on LP, as well as being included in the show, which aired from 1966 to 1968.
A revival of interest in the television show came in 1986, leading to a series of official reunion tours, a television special, and four new full-length records, all of which spanned the next 35 years, though these efforts rarely comprised all four members performing together. With Jones' death in 2012 and Tork's in 2019, Dolenz and Nesmith were left to embark on a farewell tour in 2021, finishing shortly before Nesmith's death at the end of the year.
Spurred by the success of the show, the Monkees were one of the most successful bands of the 1960s. The band sold more than 75 million records worldwide making them one of the biggest-selling groups of all time with international hits, including "Last Train to Clarksville", "I'm a Believer", "A Little Bit Me, a Little Bit You", "Pleasant Valley Sunday", and "Daydream Believer", and four chart-topping albums.

🎵 The Sheepdogs - Find The Truth - New Rock and Roll - REACTION
🎵 The Sheepdogs - Find The Truth - New Rock and Roll - REACTION
The Sheepdogs are a Canadian rock band formed in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan in 2004. The Sheepdogs were the first unsigned band to make the cover of Rolling Stone and have gone on to a career featuring multi-platinum album sales and four Juno Awards.
Frontman Ewan Currie, the band's primary songwriter, has described the band's guitar-driven blues-rock style as "pure, simple, good-time music"; he's said that the band aims to land in the sweet spot between Led Zeppelin and Crosby, Stills & Nash. Currie has further credited Creedence Clearwater Revival, Stevie Wonder, The Beatles, and The Allman Brothers Band as influences on the band's style.

🎵 - New Rock Music - The Hellacopters - Time Got No Time To Wait For Me - REACTION
🎵 - New Rock Music The Hellacopters - Time Got No Time To Wait For Me - REACTION
The Hellacopters are a Swedish garage rock band that was formed in 1994 by Nicke Andersson (vocals and guitar), Andreas Tyrone "Dregen" Svensson (guitar), Kenny Håkansson (bass) and Robert Eriksson (drums).
Andersson (sometimes known as Nick Royale) had been the drummer for death metal band Entombed and Dregen was taking a break from his full-time band Backyard Babies. Dregen and Eriksson had been roadies for Entombed, while Håkansson was a childhood friend of Andersson's.
The Hellacopters were initially conceived as a side project for Andersson and Dregen, but it eventually became the main songwriting and performance vehicle for Andersson. The band, together with The Hives, is considered one of the most important Swedish bands in the garage rock revival and one of the most influential rock bands in Sweden.
The band released their Swedish Grammy-winning debut album Supershitty to the Max! in 1996. Just before a tour opening for Kiss, the band recruited keyboardist and percussionist Anders Lindström (also known as Boba Fett or Boba) on a part-time basis; he would become a full-time member in 1999.
After the album Payin' the Dues in 1998, Dregen left the band to return to Backyard Babies full-time, and Mattias Hellberg and Danne Andersson were recruited to complete the band's touring responsibilities. After the release of Grande Rock, which featured additional guitar playing from both Lindström and Hellberg, Robert Dahlqvist was hired as a full-time lead guitarist in 1999.
With the lineup now solidified, the band released three more studio albums and a cover album, with many EPs and limited edition releases as well. The Hellacopters disbanded amicably in 2008 so the members could move on to other projects. Eight years later, the band reassembled in 2016, initially for an exclusive performance at Sweden Rock Festival to celebrate the 20-year anniversary of their award-winning debut album Supershitty to the Max!.
In October 2021 the band announced that they had signed with the record label Nuclear Blast to release a new album in the spring of 2022. The album, Eyes of Oblivion, was released on 1 April 2022

🎵 - New Rare Music - Joyce Street - Life Ain't Worth Livin' - REACTION
🎵 - New Rare Music - Joyce Street - Life Ain't Worth Livin' - REACTION
Fresh off the bus from Mississippi, 18-year-old Joyce Street showed up at Reena Records’ Hollywood studio in 1969 with a demo and a dream.
Inspired by R&B crooner Brook Benton, Joyce’s original “Life Ain’t Worth Livin’” was crafted with soulful intentions, but when producer Hal “Hillbilly Heaven” Southern got into the studio it ended up in a more countrypolitan place. “The atmosphere was positive and upbeat,” Street said. “Everyone liked my music and seemed to be enjoying themselves. After the session, I left feeling good with high hopes.”
Joyce’s debut Reena 45 quickly came and went, a fate shared with the two others that followed. She’d leave LA behind soon enough, taking with her a whole new parcel of songs for her days in Chillicothe, Ohio, and Austin, Texas. Hopes high, still dreaming.
Wicked Tunes: It's a crime that Joyce wasn't a huge star. Listen to her voice it's 100% real and from her soul.
The legend who never was.

🎵 - New Folk Music - Mickey Leigh's Mutated Music - La La La - REACTION
🎵 - New Folk Music - Mickey Leigh's Mutated Music - La La La - REACTION
Mickey Leigh's Mutated Music is the garage-punk project helmed by Mickey Leigh, brother of late Ramones singer Joey Ramone.
From Mickey's Website:
OUR GOAL: TO RESCUE ROCK N ROLL... ONE SONG AT A TIME
-MICKEY LEIGH
With the release of a slew of singles with his band MUTATED MUSIC, MICKEY LEIGH is taking steps. A longtime figure in the influential downtown New York City music scene, MICKEY is no longer content with being in the shadows. He's stepping into the spotlight with punk-pop-country-jazz and blues-infused tracks that tell stories of colourful rock and roll lives.
"These are 'The Stories That Never Got Told', so they never got old," states one of the key tracks. Of the heroine in "Little Cristine," MICKEY says "No. She ain't no ten. She's a number one." His modernized, "mutated" reworking of the classic civil rights/social-awakening song "If I Had A Hammer" boldly blares the powerful message calling for "justice, freedom and love between our brothers and our sisters" which is perfect for these troubled, frenetic and divisive times.
As he explained in his 2009 autobiographical family memoir "I Slept With Joey Ramone," MICKEY is inspired by his love of the music of the '60s. His life-long fever for rock & roll has never dampened, remains pure, and continues to fuel his drive to create great music.
MICKEY LEIGH'S MUTATED MUSIC is brimming with tracks that have been called: "...instantly memorable, lyrically compelling, deceptively simple, hard-ass, life-loving songs full of emotional depth that deliver a punch far more intense than anyone could or would have expected...written with passion, played with precision, produced with perfection." MICKEY has been credited with "...the power pop instincts of a Tom Petty and the street smarts of a Jim Carroll...not to mention a bit of The Who, Dylan, Springsteen and...Elvis."
Joining MICKEY in MUTATED MUSIC are: Drummer Pat Carpenter has been playing with MICKEY for 26 years and in their last band STOP, toured the UK in support of their album "Never," performing live on BBC Radio; Bassist Westley P. Crawford, with MICKEY, formed Crown The Good, a band that had a development deal with Epic Records in 1989. Westley has rejoined MICKEY to take MUTATED MUSIC on the road.

🎵 - New Rock and Roll Music - The Boys With The Perpetual Nervousness - As The Day Begins - REACTION
The Boys With The Perpetual Nervousness are a duo formed by Gonzalo Marcos from Madrid, a member of El Palacio de Linares, a Spanish indie pop group, and Andrew Taylor from Edinburgh, a member of the cult band Dropkick. They give life to their songs at a distance and not because of the Covid: the distance between the respective homes of the pair is the reason why their songs travel between Scotland and Spain several times before being finalized.
They surprise with their fresh sound and musical rejuvenation of the genre, the lyrics concise, poetic and revealing and above all packed with tremendous personality. There’s a distinct Do It Yourself concept to the pair. They are a small army but capable of defeating you with songs that reach the depths of your being, their well-understood proposal of pop goldsmithing is one of those oases that make us believe that we are facing a mirage of the current musical scene.
The music is pop with capital letters that are structured in the three big B’s, The Beatles, The Beach Boys and The Byrds, and in those coordinates, they move. Grandchildren of those and children of bands like Teenage Fanclub or Lemonheads, the music is precious, priceless gems that make Elliott Smith and Alex Chilton smile from heaven. The Boys With The Perpetual Nervousness are the perfect example of why good pop should always exist in our lives.

🎵 - New Rock and Roll Music - Slim Butler - Roll And Tumble - REACTION
🎵 - New Rock and Roll Music - Slim Butler - Roll And Tumble - REACTION
From Slim Butler's website:
"Slim Butler hails from the unfamiliar hotbed of Finland´s blues scene, Rovaniemi. Slim was born in the summer of 1963 as Jarmo Puhakka in this small Arctic Circle town.
Ever since picking up his first guitar (cheap mail-order Lucky Seven) at the tender age of 12, he´s been fronting local bands, always leaning towards blues, soul, and rock. Never one to limit his musical focus, he is also an enthusiastic lover of funk, reggae, and jazz – listeners can still hear echoes of some of his early influences such as Jimi Hendrix, Rory Gallagher, The Beatles, Howlin´ Wolf, Muddy Waters, Ry Cooder, and The Allman Brothers.
After honing his skills for decades, Slim has gradually evolved into a mighty fine guitarist, band leader, avid songwriter, and recording artist with musical maturity and a vision to reckon with. Now at the forefront of the Finnish blues movement, he is not showing any signs of slowing down. Over the years Slim has shared the stage with Jimmy Johnson, Otis Grand, Bob Brozman, Dr. Feelgood, and Papa George, just to new but a few.
Slim is a lifelong advocate of the finest rhythm and blues, funk, soul, and Americana. Alongside his many musical activities, he is one helluva proud producer of the Roots´n River Blues festival in Rovaniemi. The event was founded in 1995 and is still kickin´ strong. Blues and soul legends such as Honeyboy Edwards, Homesick James, Johnny Adams, Jimmy Johnson, Carey Bell, Roscoe Gordon, and Tower of Power are among the household names that have visited the cozy annual gathering in Lapland."

🎵 - New Rock Music - The Breakers - How Many Times - REACTION
🎵 - New Rock Music - The Breakers - How Many Times - REACTION
The Breakers was a rock band from Denmark consisting of Toke Nisted (vocals), Anders Bruus (guitar), and Jackie Larsen (bass). They were influenced by the music of the 60s and 70s, such as The Faces and The Rolling Stones.
From their Soundcloud page: "A Stax-like rhythm section, Stones-y guitars, and some of the most soulful singing I've ever heard delivering songs both Smokey Robinson and Van Morrison would be proud of."
Little Steven Van Zandt
The band’s wild energy is fueled by the weaving double guitars of Anders Bruus and Klaus Højbjerg and the super solid rhythm section of Jackie Larsen (bass) and Stefan Andersen (drums). Toke Nisted’s smoky vocals and seamless harmonies evoke the Rhythm and Blues passion of Steve Marriott, Stevie Winwood, Chris Farlowe, and Rod Stewart.

🎵 - New Rock Music - The Empty Hearts - 90 Miles An Hour Down A Dead End Street - REACTION
🎵 - New Rock Music - The Empty Hearts - 90 Miles An Hour Down A Dead End Street - REACTION
The Empty Hearts are an American garage rock-influenced supergroup which produced its first album and launched its first tour in 2014.
Not to be confused with the British R&B band of the same name formed in 1981, and active until 1985.
The band was founded in 2013 by The Chesterfield Kings bassist Andy Babiuk and a roster of founding members including Blondie drummer Clem Burke, The Cars guitarist Elliot Easton, and The Romantics guitarist and vocalist Wally Palmar.
Palmar also plays the harmonica on the band's self-titled first album, which was released on 5 August 2014 and produced by The Ramones producer Ed Stasium. The band included Small Faces and Faces pianist Ian McLagan on Hammond organ and Wurlitzer until his death in December 2014.
The group says that the album took just five days to complete at Babiuk's Fab Gear Studios in Rochester, N.Y. with many of the songs being recorded in a single take.
The group's name was suggested by Steven Van Zandt whose Wicked Cool Records label had released three of Babiuk's Chesterfield Kings albums. The band's first concert date was 16 October 2014 at Londonderry, New Hampshire's Tupelo Music Hall. The band performed at the NAMM Show in January 2016 and at the 85th annual Hollywood Christmas Parade in 2016.

🎵 The Hellacopters - So Sorry I Could Die - New Rock and Roll - REACTION
🎵 The Hellacopters - So Sorry I Could Die - New Rock and Roll - REACTION
The Hellacopters are a Swedish garage rock band that was formed in 1994 by Nicke Andersson (vocals and guitar), Andreas Tyrone "Dregen" Svensson (guitar), Kenny Håkansson (bass) and Robert Eriksson (drums). Andersson (sometimes known as Nick Royale) had been the drummer for the death metal band Entombed and Dregen was taking a break from his full-time band Backyard Babies.
Heavily influenced by early Kiss, punk and rock bands such as MC5, Ramones, Sex Pistols, The Damned, The Stooges and The Heartbreakers as well as bands such as Venom, Blue Cheer and Motörhead the band's debut album – Supershitty to the Max!
