🎵 Pure 60's Guitar Pop! - The Boys With The Perpetual Nervousness - Look Back - New Music - REACTION
The Boys With The Perpetual Nervousness are a duo formed by Gonzalo Marcos from Madrid, a member of El Palacio de Linares, a Spanish indie pop group, and Andrew Taylor from Edinburgh, a member of the cult band Dropkick.
They give life to their songs at a distance and not because of the Covid: the distance between the respective homes of the pair is the reason why their songs travel between Scotland and Spain several times before being finalized.
They surprise with their fresh sound and musical rejuvenation of the genre, the lyrics concise, poetic and revealing and above all packed with tremendous personality. There’s a distinct Do It Yourself concept to the pair.
They are a small army but capable of defeating you with songs that reach the depths of your being, their well-understood proposal of pop goldsmithing is one of those oases that make us believe that we are facing a mirage of the current musical scene.
The music is pop with capital letters that are structured in the three big B’s, The Beatles, The Beach Boys and The Byrds, and in those coordinates, they move. Grandchildren of those and children of bands like Teenage Fanclub or Lemonheads, the music is precious, priceless gems that make Elliott Smith and Alex Chilton smile from heaven. The Boys With The Perpetual Nervousness are the perfect example of why good pop should always exist in our lives.

🎵 Band Of Heathens - Not Mine To Begin With - New Rock Music - REACTION
🎵 Band Of Heathens - Not Mine To Begin With - New Rock Music - REACTION
The Band of Heathens is an Americana band from Austin, Texas.
The three principal songwriters - Colin Brooks, Ed Jurdi and Gordy Quist - shared the bill at Momo's, an Austin club. Originally, each singer/songwriter performed his own set. However, they eventually started sharing the stage and collaborating together with bassist Seth Whitney. The Wednesday night series was billed as "The Good Time Supper Club". A misprint in a local paper billed the act as "The Heathens." In 2007, drummer John Chipman joined the band.
In 2009, the band was nominated for a "New Emerging Artist" award by the Americana Music Association. In 2010, the band was again honoured by the Americana Music Association as nominees for the "Best Duo/Group of the Year".
Austin, Texas roots rockers the Band of Heathens play music that filters contemporary singer/songwriter and alt-country flavours through the guiding influence of dusty 1970s soft rock.
Founded by three songwriters, the group specializes in tales with a distinct Southern flavour and characters with a taste for misadventure, buoyed by tasteful arrangements and harmonies. 2008's The Band of Heathens was their first studio album after a pair of live discs, 2013's Sunday Morning Record saw them reworking their sound after some major personnel shakeups, and 2020's Stranger was a thoughtful LP reflecting a time of American upheaval.

🎵 NEW! Kick-Ass Rock! - DATURA4 with Dave Hole - Going Back To Hoonsville - New Music - REACTION
🎵 DATURA4 with Dave Hole - Going Back To Hoonsville - New Music - REACTION
Combining equal parts vintage psychedelia, no-quarter boogie, rock-infused blues, and classic hard rock and running them all through a big bank of amps, Datura4 is a rock band living in the present while showing a true appreciation for the sounds of the past.
The band debuted their high-impact blues-based sound on 2015's Demon Blues, which blended '70s-style hard rock with boogie blues-rock of similar vintage; the band was stripped from a two-guitar powerhouse to one guitar and a keyboard player without a major change in their impact on 2019's Blessed Is the Boogie.
The band is fronted by Australian Dom Mariani a man with quite a long list of former and current bands like DM3 and The Stems. With this album, like its predecessor, the band claims the territory of 70’s boogie, citing Creedence Clearwater Revival and The Beatles as heroes. So, much choogling, interesting arrangements and melodic rock-driven songs, lend themselves well to an open road with the car stereo turned up loud. – TERRASCOPE
Brand new album "WEST COAST HIGHWAY COSMIC" :
West Coast Highway Cosmic has everything I love
If you were lucky enough to grow up in the 60s and 70s, you know that the music coming out at that time had a certain vibe. We’re not talking about the bubble-gum pop that was prevalent on the AM stations of the day. This is that blues-based, uber-overdriven, gritty sound that blasted on many a stereo. Australian rockers Datura4 have captured not just the sound, but that whole atmospheric ambience on their latest release, West Coast Highway Cosmic. – AMERICAN BLUES SCENE

🎵 New Single!! - Sheryl Crow - Still The Same - New Rock Music - REACTION
Sheryl Suzanne Crow (born February 11, 1962) is an American musician, singer, songwriter, and actress. Her music incorporates elements of pop, rock, country, jazz, and blues. She has released ten studio albums, four compilations and two live albums, as well as contributed to several film soundtracks.
Her most popular songs include "All I Wanna Do" (1994), "Strong Enough" (1994), "If It Makes You Happy" (1996), "Everyday Is a Winding Road" (1996), "Tomorrow Never Dies" (1997, theme song for the James Bond eponymous film), "My Favorite Mistake" (1998), "Picture" (2002, duet with Kid Rock) and "Soak Up the Sun" (2002).
Crow has sold more than 50 million albums worldwide and won nine Grammy Awards (out of 32 nominations) from the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. As an actress, Crow has appeared on various television series including 30 Rock, Cop Rock, GCB, Cougar Town, Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert's Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear, One Tree Hill and NCIS: New Orleans.
Early in her career, Crow performed extensively with a 1962 Gibson Country Western guitar which was her personal favourite, but she eventually feared that it would not stand up to the rigours of continued touring and stage use, and in 1999 asked Gibson to build her a replica for use on stage.
The manufacturer responded by introducing a "Sheryl Crow" model in their Signature Artist Series, which is essentially a re-creation of the square-shouldered 1962-era Country Western model.[94] In 2013, Gibson also introduced a limited edition "Sheryl Crow Southern Jumbo", a reissue of the slope-shouldered predecessor of the 1962-era Country Western.

🎵 Yukon Blonde - Sweet Dee - New Music - REACTION
🎵 Yukon Blonde - Sweet Dee - New Music - REACTION
Yukon Blonde is a Canadian indie rock band originally from Kelowna, British Columbia. The band has been based in Vancouver since 2009.
The band was named one of the "10 Canadian bands destined to break in 2010" by the CBC, and Chart called the band the best of the 2010 Canadian Music Week festival.
The album Tiger Talk was released in 2012. The band was nominated for the Juno Award for Breakthrough Group of the Year in 2013.
After ten years since forming and five LPs, Yukon Blonde has been characterized in a lot of different ways.
They emerged as a guitar-heavy rock band with their debut self-titled LP in 2010 and by the release of On Blonde in 2015, Yukon Blonde was experimenting with slick, '80s-inspired pop elements like those heard on the album’s driving hit single “Saturday Night.”
More recently, on 2018’s Critical Hit, the Vancouver-based five-piece band turned their attention to mood making, largely ditching their guitars in favour of synths and drum machines to build danceable, multi-dimensional soundscapes.
With their fifth release, Vindicator, Yukon Blonde rewrote their story again. Jeffrey Innes (vocals/guitar/keys), Brandon Scott (vocals/guitar), Graham Jones (vocals/drums), James Younger (vocals/bass/keys), and Rebecca Gray (vocals/keys) douse keyboard melodies and relaxed grooves with psychedelic hues that are both playful and expansive. The kaleidoscopic voices of the opening track “It’s What You Are,” immediately put you under a joyful spell and then never let you go.
“We’re more mature and comfortable with ourselves now and we know that we can try something new even at this stage in our career,” explains Younger. “We completely deconstructed the narrative of the band and made the music that felt good at the moment.”
Vindicator is the first Yukon Blonde album written, recorded, and produced entirely by the band. It took shape in their jam space in East Vancouver, a cabin on Galiano Island, in a closet at Younger’s home, and in Innes’ kitchen. But this DIY ethos has always been the backbone of Yukon Blonde who are curious artists with a passion for honing their craft.
The in-house approach to Vindicator allowed Yukon Blonde to stretch themselves creatively and experiment with sounds and styles in ways they haven’t before. The band shares vocal duties – Gray thrives in the spotlight on the groovy “Fickle Feelings” – and Innes, the band’s primary songwriter, let his lyrics – which touch on everything from love to redefining your relationship with social media – drive the shape of the songs.

🎵 Southern Avenue - 80 Miles From Memphis - New Blues Rock Music - REACTION
Southern Avenue is an American five-piece blues and soul blues band from Memphis, Tennessee, United States. Formed in 2015, they took their name from a street in Memphis running from the easternmost part of the city limits to "Soulsville", which was the original home of Stax Records. Rock 103 described them as "the most talked about band in Memphis." Southern Avenue reached the finals of the International Blues Challenge in 2016.
Their self-titled debut album entered the US Billboard Top Blues Albums Chart at number 6 in February 2017,[5] and reached number 1 on the iTunes Blues Chart.
One journalist described their music as a "unique blend of gospel-tinged R&B vocals, roots/blues-based guitar work and soul-inspired songwriting"

She & Him is an American musical duo consisting of Zooey Deschanel (vocals, piano, ukulele) and M. Ward (guitar, production). The band's first album, Volume One, was released on Merge Records in March 2008.
Zooey Deschanel and Matt Ward, are as comfortable and complementary a musical pair as Les Paul and Mary Ford. Matt and Zooey make music for an eternal springtime when the temperature is warm enough to go riding with the top (or at least the windows) rolled down and the radio turned up.

🎵 The Answer - Always - New Music - REACTION
🎵 The Answer - Always - New Music - REACTION
The Answer is a Northern Irish hard rock band from Newcastle and Downpatrick, County Down, Northern Ireland, UK. They have achieved success with their debut album Rise selling in excess of 30,000 copies in the UK and Europe, 10,000 on day one in Japan and 100,000 worldwide.
n 2005, Classic Rock magazine voted The Answer as Best New Band 2005, which brought them even more exposure. The Answer then went on to co-headline the first Nokia 'New School of Rock' Tour, with Tokyo Dragons and The Sound Explosion. Shortly afterwards, in November 2005, came their second official release – the single "Never Too Late". They supported Deep Purple at an intimate show at the London Astoria on 17 January 2006.
The Answer opened for AC/DC on the 2008 and 2009 legs of the Black Ice World Tour and was probably the most worldwide exposure the band has received to date.
Obviously influenced by 70s hard rock artists like Led Zeppelin, Thin Lizzy and Deep Purple and the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, singer Cormac Neeson's powerful vocals are reminiscent of Robert Plant, Paul Rodgers or Ronnie James Dio. When playing live they produce a varied set, combining hard rock songs with modernized blues covers.
The band played at a Phil Lynott memorial benefit gig in Dublin, as Lynott’s mother is a big fan. So big in fact that she allowed bass player Micky Waters to be the first since Lynott’s death to open his case and play the legendary black bass within. It’s the same instrument that appears in the music video for Keep Believin'.
The Answer has supported bands such as Aerosmith, The Rolling Stones, AC/DC and The Who and has been joined on stage by Free and Bad Company vocalist Paul Rodgers.
"The Answer, best group since Free." ~ Paul Rodgers

🎵 The Hellacopters - Circus - (STRING DRIVEN THING Cover) (Plus a rant) - New Music - REACTION
🎵 The Hellacopters - Circus - (STRING DRIVEN THING Cover) (Plus a rant) - New Music - REACTION
The Hellacopters are a Swedish garage rock band that was formed in 1994 by Nicke Andersson (vocals and guitar), Andreas Tyrone "Dregen" Svensson (guitar), and Kenny Håkansson (bass) and Robert Eriksson (drums). Andersson (sometimes known as Nick Royale) had been the drummer for the death metal band Entombed and Dregen was taking a break from his full-time band Backyard Babies. Dregen and Eriksson had been roadies for Entombed, while Håkansson was a childhood friend of Andersson's.
The Hellacopters were initially conceived as a side project for Andersson and Dregen, but it eventually became the main songwriting and performance vehicle for Andersson. The band, together with The Hives, is considered one of the most important Swedish bands in the garage rock revival and one of the most influential rock bands in Sweden.
The band released their Swedish Grammy-winning debut album Supershitty to the Max! in 1996. Just before a tour opening for Kiss, the band recruited keyboardist and percussionist Anders Lindström (also known as Boba Fett or Boba) on a part-time basis; he would become a full-time member in 1999. After the album Payin' the Dues in 1998, Dregen left the band to return to Backyard Babies full-time, and Mattias Hellberg and Danne Andersson were recruited to complete the band's touring responsibilities. After the release of Grande Rock, which featured additional guitar playing from both Lindström and Hellberg, Robert Dahlqvist was hired as a full-time lead guitarist in 1999.
With the lineup now solidified, the band released three more studio albums and a cover album, with many EPs and limited edition releases as well. The Hellacopters disbanded amicably in 2008 so the members could move on to other projects. Eight years later, the band reassembled in 2016, initially for an exclusive performance at Sweden Rock Festival to celebrate the 20-year anniversary of their award-winning debut album Supershitty to the Max!.
In October 2021 the band announced that they had signed with the record label Nuclear Blast to release a new album in the spring of 2022. The album, Eyes of Oblivion, was released on April 1, 2022

🎵New Rock N Roll! The Sheepdogs - Scarborough Street Fight - New Music - REACTION
The Sheepdogs are a Canadian rock band formed in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan in 2004. The Sheepdogs were the first unsigned band to make the cover of Rolling Stone and have gone on to a career featuring multi-platinum album sales and four Juno Awards.
Frontman Ewan Currie, the band's primary songwriter, has described the band's guitar-driven blues-rock style as "pure, simple, good-time music"; he's said that the band aims to land in the sweet spot between Led Zeppelin and Crosby, Stills & Nash. Currie has further credited Creedence Clearwater Revival, Stevie Wonder, The Beatles, and The Allman Brothers Band as influences on the band's style.
One critic has praised the band's "infectiously catchy, soulful, retro sound with beautiful harmonies and a pinch of southern rock."[4]
The Sheepdogs are on the road frequently between recordings.[5] They have headlined tours across Canada and the United States, the UK, Eastern and Western Europe, and Australia, and have performed at a number of large festivals including South by Southwest, Coachella, Glastonbury, Bonnaroo, and Lollapalooza.

🎵 Derek Woods Band - Up In The Air - New Music - REACTION
🎵 Derek Woods Band - Up In The Air - New Music - REACTION
From the 2021 album “Picture Yourself”
DEREK WOODS BAND
“Big Jam” is how Morning Glass Entertainment describes the genre of Derek Woods Band. “Big” comes from the 5-piece lineup that makes up DWB, including 8 different rotating instruments and the lead vocals of Derek Woods. “Jam” comes from DWB’s tendency to transition in the midst of their singer/songwriter-driven rock n roll style original songs into orchestrated jams pulled together by solos and danceable beats that allow you to lose yourself to the music in the moment. DWB defines themselves as being reminiscent of an energetic ’60s-’70s Rock n’ Roll vibe while incorporating a new-age jam-style atmosphere.
Derek Woods is the Pittsburgh-born son of Tim Woods, a 2012 inductee into the New York Blues Hall of Fame. In December 2011, DWB formed in Los Angeles, California following the release of Woods’ debut solo single, “New Love”. The band currently includes an instrumental lineup of acoustic guitar, harmonica, lead electric guitar, mandolin (acoustic and electric), keys, drums, and bass.
Derek Woods Band has shared the stage with many well-known musicians including Rusted Root, Tim Reynolds (Dave Matthews Band), Leon Russell, Cheech & Chong, Jimmy Herring (Widespread Panic, Allman Brothers Band, the Dead), and Lukas Nelson. DWB travels along the East and West coasts in many different fashions including acoustic formations and full-band.
DWB’s performances range from headlining venues including the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, California to participating in festivals such as Hookahville (Hosted by Ekoostik Hookah), and Jambrewzle (hosted by Derek Woods Band themselves) and more. The band’s resume is extensive and continues to build with each show.

These are my reactions and reviews from the NEW wave of 60s - 70s style music from artists of the past, and new 60s - 70s style artists from the year 2000 to the now. Great new music I think is cool and far out and has groove, and everyone might like.
And who knows maybe a surprise or three with some great (IMO) the 60s - 70s style music from before Y2K ;)

🎵 New Rock N Roll! The Sheepdogs - Scarborough Street Fight - New Music - REACTION
🎵 New Rock N Roll! The Sheepdogs - Scarborough Street Fight - New Music - REACTION

🎵 Marcus King - Hard Working Man - New Blues Rock Music - REACTION
🎵 Marcus King - Hard Working Man - New Blues Rock Music - REACTION
New Merch: https://long-live-rock-2.creator-spring.com
Marcus King (born March 11, 1996) is an American musician, singer, songwriter and guitarist. He is best known as the frontman, lead singer and guitarist for The Marcus King Band. Recently engaged to Girlfriend/Singer Briley Hussey.
Marcus King was born in Greenville, South Carolina, United States. His father, Marvin King, was a well-known blues guitarist in South Carolina who also played with gospel acts, and his grandfather was also a regionally popular musician.
Marcus began playing guitar at a very early age, and at age eight he started playing shows with his father. At age eleven, he played guitar on one of his father's albums. King was in his teens when he began playing out with his own band, juggling club gigs at night and school in the morning as he and his bandmates brainstormed with what they called "soul-influenced psychedelic Southern rock."
Deciding to pursue a career in music, King dropped out of high school in his junior year and got his GED. King took an academic approach to music, studying his favourite guitar players, particularly The Allman Brothers Band co-founder Duane Allman, B.B. King, Albert King, Waylon Jennings and Merle Haggard.
King studied jazz theory and jazz performance with Steve Watson at the Greenville Fine Arts Center. He received some notable early attention in 2014 after a video of him jamming at Norman's Guitars racked up millions of views on YouTube
In 2019, King announced his debut solo album, El Dorado, produced by Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys at his Easy Eye Studio in Nashville. The album is a genre-bending release that was released on January 17, 2020, by Fantasy Records. On release, Associated Press declared “El Dorado already stands out as a definite high point of 2020
His 2020 album El Dorado received a nomination for Best Americana Album at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards.
