Biden on Leaks: ‘There’s Nothing Contemporaneous that I’m Aware of that Is of Great Consequence’
Reporter: “Are you concerned about the leaks?”
UNKNOWN FEMALE: “OK, guys, it’s time to go. Let’s go. We got to go.”
Biden: “I’m not concerned about the leak because — I’m concerned that it happened, but there’s nothing contemporaneous that I’m aware of that is of great consequence.”

Sen. Murphy on Gun Laws: 'We’ve Reached a Point Where Nothing Is Not an Option'
GEIST: “Joining us now Democratic Senator Chris Murphy of Connecticut. He’s a member of the Foreign Relations Committee. Senator, good morning. It’s good to have you back with us. Let’s talk about Nashville and Louisville and everything we’ve seen over the last couple of weeks and the energy that we’ve seen around gun safety, including, by the way, from the Republican Governor of Tennessee, Bill Lee, who talked about strengthening Red Flag laws. I know it’s not everything everyone would want but perhaps one step toward preventing some of these horrible tragedies that we see several times a week at this point in this country.”
MURPHY: “And of course, Willie, as you know, it’s important to remember that, well, the country gets captured by stories of these mass shootings every single day, there’s over 100 people dying from gun violence, many of those are suicides, homicides, accidental shooting. So every single day, there’s mass slaughter in this country, and it doesn’t happen anywhere else in the high income world besides the United States. But I think you are right. I mean, we are seeing a paradigm shift. It began last summer, when after Uvalde, Congress passed the first gun safety measure of any significance in 30 years, even though the NRA opposed that legislation. And it continues now this spring as you see a very conservative Republican Governor Bill Lee, proposing that the legislature passed a Red Flag law, again, a measure that the NRA doesn’t like. But Red Flag laws are not insignificant. They really do work. In Florida that passed their Red Flag laws shortly after Parkland, they’ve used it 6,000 times to take guns away from people who are threatening harm against others or threatening harm against themselves. So it’s good news that you see Republicans like Bill Lee stepping up and saying, it’s time for us to do something. I think you’re going to have more and more states, red states and blue states acting for one reason and one reason only. Voters are not going to allow politicians to stand by and do nothing. What you saw in Tennessee with this it’s just overwhelming show of support from kids and parents to backup those Tennessee lawmakers to demand change. That’s happening all over the country. And so there’ll be more action at the federal level. There’ll be increasing pace of action at the state level. It’s not going to all happen at once but, we’ve reached a point where nothing is not an option.”

Courts Block Biden From Controlling Your Water....For Now!
A federal judge in North Dakota has stopped President Biden from implementing new rules controlling your water.
Biden wants to redefine what are "Waters of the United State." In doing so, he is looking to allow the federal government to control every stream, lake and water source in the nation. This has huge implications for farmers. And, of course, huge implications for those of us who eat what those farmers grow!
Sterling Burnett, managing editor of Environment and Climate News, breaks down what Biden wants, why the courts said no and whether this judge's decision is enough to stop the government from controlling water supplies.

Trump on Biden Leading America into a Nuclear War: They Don’t Understand Life
Trump: “That’s because they don’t understand life. They don’t understand whatever it is that you have to understand. You know, it’s very interesting. At the very beginning, Biden was very afraid of nuclear because I watched him, ‘Oh, they have nuclear weapons,’ which was exactly the wrong signal to send. You don’t do that. But if you go back and check your files, you’ll see Biden early on saying, ‘We can’t do this. They have nuclear weapons.’ Well, you don’t want to act that way. But he was very afraid of nuclear. I said, you know, you got to be a little bit cooler than that. But what happened is now nobody talks bit, but every day Putin mentions it and every day other people mention it, and now all of a sudden, if you look other countries are talking about getting it. This was something you don’t mention. I call it the n-word. You have two n-words, you don’t mention either one of them. The ‘nuclear’ word you don’t mention, because the power is so destructive. I met with professors at MIT and I was preparing for a debate, I wouldn’t say it was a long preparation but I did want to talk about nuclear because I consider it to be the single greatest threat the world has, far greater than global warming, like, not even a contest. And I had these people come down who were very smart, very expert and I said, ‘So, we start talking about nuclear in a debate, how would you handle it?’ And they looked at me, one in particular, and said, ‘Sir, you can’t talk about it. You cannot talk about it.’ I said, ‘What does that mean?’ He said, ‘It is so massive, it is so destructive that you cannot talk about it.’ I understood exactly what he meant, and we stayed away from it for the most part. But now Putin is mentioning it all the time. We don’t mention it, but Putin is always mentioning it. You heard him say it, ‘We are a nuclear power.’ He said it not so long ago. I said, ‘That’s the first time I’ve heard a major country.’ You know, you do hear it talked about and I did a good job — I did a great job with North Korea, Kim Jong-un, you went with me on a trip, you insulted him which didn’t make my life too easy, but that’s okay. But you were there, one of the few, and it was an amazing — it had to be one of the most incredible experiences for you.”
Carlson: “For sure.”
Trump: “But it was amazing."

What Is The Real Situation In Israel?
Since Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regained power, Israel has been on the front pages even more than normal.
His attempts to reform the judiciary have led to protests by tens of thousands of Israelis, but those protests have been used for other political purposes in the US and other nations.
As always, horrifically, there are continued rocket attacks against the Israeli people. And, tensions at Israel's holiest sights are growing.
What is the real situation on the ground? Daniel Aschheim, Deputy Consul General at the Consulate General of Israel to the Midwest, answers the questions and gives much needed detail to what is happening.

Reporters Grill Jean-Pierre: Why Won’t Pres. Biden Host a Press Conference? ‘This Is Not the Norm’
Reporter: “— and the lack of press conference that we see in general from this White House. I represent a news organization that owns 113 television stations. And a question that I’m often asked — and I don’t know the answer to, so I’ll ask you that question: Is the administration trying to protect the President from our questions? Please answer that question if you could.”
Jean-Pierre: “Absolutely not. Absolutely not.”
Reporter: “Then why the lack of any interaction in a formal setting to have a press conference?”
Jean-Pierre: “I mean, the President takes shouted questions. I —“
Reporter: “In a formal — in a formal setting.”
Jean-Pierre: “I understand. Jon, I understand.”
Reporter: “Yeah. Okay. Yeah.”
Jean-Pierre: “I understand. I have dealt with this question about three times already. I understand it is — it is — it is the job of you all to ask this question to me. Totally get that. And that’s not a problem at all. But certainly, the President many times has — has stan- — has stood in front of all of you, has taken questions on his own, because he wanted to see what was on — on your minds, he wanted to see what the questions you all were going to ask him, and he wanted to answer them directly. That has happened multiple times — many times during this administration. And that will certainly continue to be. When it comes to a formal press conference, I don’t have anything to share with you at this time.”
Reporter: “You recognize — just one last thing.”
Jean-Pierre: “Yeah, sure.”
Reporter: “Just to button it up. You recognize that as it relates to prior administrations, the President’s predecessor, President Obama, President George W. Bush — I’ve been here long enough to have covered President Bill Clinton — this is not the norm. The norm is we do get an opportunity, ask the questions to the President about domestic and foreign policy issues in a formal setting at some point, and you choose that point. But we haven’t had that opportunity in quite some time.”
Jean-Pierre: “So I’ll say this: It is also unprecedented that a President takes as many shouted questions as this President has. And he has.”
Reporter 2: “No.”
Reporter 3: “No, no, no, no.”
Reporter: “I covered the last administration, and I’ll tell you: Almost every day, up until —“
Jean-Pierre: “Okay, well, we’ll get —“
Reporter: “— the November 2020 election, Donald Trump took questions practically every day.”
Jean-Pierre: “We’ll certainly — we’ll certainly get the data and share that with all of you. I hear — Jon —“
Reporter: “Yes.”
Jean-Pierre: “— I hear your question. I heard Zeke’s question. I hear you. I hear you on the press conference — on a formal press conference. We get this probably every couple of months when you guys ask us about a formal press conference. I don’t have anything to share with all of you at this time. And — and I’ll just — I’ll just leave it there.”

The Pentagon Leaks Are More Damning and Dangerous Thank You Think!
John Kirby, spokesman for the National Security Council, suggested that reporters should not report on the leaked documents. Documents, it turns out, that share information not only about Russian and Ukrainian efforts, but detailed conversations between the US and allies like Israel and South Korea.
That the NSC says we shouldn't report on these documents is radical. But the damage these leaks have done have consequences we are yet to realize. Is the Biden administration taking this seriously? Is the US really damaged by this leak?
Stephen Yates, former Deputy Assistant to Vice President Dick Cheney for National Security Affairs and current Chair of the China Policy Initiative for the America First Policy Institute, talks about how damaging this really is.

John Kirby Tells Journalists NOT to Report on Leaked Pentagon Documents
KIRBY: “We’re taking this very, very seriously. There is no excuse for these kinds of documents to be in the public domain. They don’t deserve to be in the public domain. They deserve to be protected. So we’ll get to the bottom of this.”
“Again, without confirming the validity of the documents, this is information that has no business in the public domain. It has no business — if you don’t mind me saying — on the pages of — of — front pages of newspapers or on television. It is not intended for public consumption and it should not be out there.”

The Pentagon Document Leak Shows Russia In Trouble...And The U.S.
Yes, it was another leak of documents. This time, Defense Department documents showing how poorly Russia is doing in Ukraine, and how ugly of shape the Ukrainian forces are. For both sides, it's a bad time.
For the United States? The problem is the documents themselves. How did they leak? Why? And what about US intel? Can we be sure that China and Russia don't know about us what we know about them?
Of course, no one is talking about the leak...even though it's the biggest story out there! Maj. Mike Lyons (Ret. US Army) explains why this is all so dangerous.

Riley Gaines: ‘If It Makes Me Transphobic to Say That Men and Women Are Different ... That’s Insane’
GAINES: 'Truthfully, I I think these people resort to the anger both verbally and physically and violence because they know they don’t have reason on their side. They cannot debate me with logic or science or any kind of data that supports their argument, so they resort to personal attacks. They resort to calling me names like transphobe which truly has no meaning anymore. That word has been devalued. If it makes me transphobic to say that men and women are different when it comes to something that requires strength, that’s insane. And so they resort to locking me in a room and terrorizing me and my family and these officers for three hours.'

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Calls for Impeaching Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas
BASH: “Justice Clarence Thomas, you want him to be impeached after a new ProPublica report this week revealed that he accepted luxury vacations from a Republican billionaire donator — donor without disclosing them. Thomas is now defending himself. And here’s what he’s saying. He’s saying, ‘Early in my tenure at the court, I sought guidance from my colleagues and others in the judiciary, and was advised that this sort of personal hospitality from close personal friends, who did not have business before the court, was not reportable.’ What is your response?”
OCASIO-CORTEZ: “I think that his own statement contradicts — contradicts many of the facts on the ground and also raises, in other ways, even more serious questions. Later on in his statement, he stated that the reason and the Rationale for this exemption was personal hospitality from an old friend. And he said himself in his statement, a friend of 25 years. Justice Thomas has been on the court for 30 years. And so to say what he is admitting in his statement in an attempt to defend himself is that he began this relationship with a billionaire and receiving these sorts of gifts as — after he was appointed to the Supreme Court of the United States. I think that that, in and of itself, indicates a very, very serious problem. And then, on top of that, he is now implicating his colleagues. And I do believe that Chief Justice John Roberts must now come forward and state if he allows and is allowing this kind of very serious corruption to happen on this court. I think, you know, when it comes to Justice Thomas’ statement, when he’s talking about his colleagues and when he’s talking about who advised him to break the law, I think we need to know who those people are.”
BASH: 'Should the Justice Department Investigate?'
OCASIO-CORTTEZ: ‘I mean, I believe what we what we’re seeing right now is a breaking of the law and we have to examine what institutions I know that there are calls for. I know that there are calls for Chief Justice to the Chief Justice Roberts to initiate an investigation. I do not think that this court any longer has the legitimacy, especially after the Supreme Court leak last year, which never came to a conclusion because the investigation itself that Chief Justice Roberts started back then. I believe is very discredited by naming a position that has an inherent conflict of interest because it is employed by those justices to pursue that investigation. I believe that... and it is the houses responsibility to pursue that investigation in the form of impeachment.’

Bud Light’s VP of Marketing Doubles Down on Her Extreme Woke Strategy
HEINERSCHEID: “If we do not attract young drinkers to come and drink this brand, there will be no future for Bud Light. So I had this super clear mandate. It’s like, we need to evolve and elevate this incredibly iconic brand. And my — what I brought to that was a belief in, okay, what does evolve and elevate mean? It means inclusivity. It means shifting the tone. It means having a campaign that’s truly inclusive and feels lighter and brighter and different and appeals to women and to men. And representation is sort of the heart of evolution. You’ve got to see people who reflect you in the work. And we had this hangover, I mean, Bud Light had been kind of a brand of fratty, kind of out-of-touch humor, and it was really important that we had another approach.”

Van Jones on Trump Indictment: ‘If This Is the Only Pebble, It’s Not Much of a Pebble’
COOPER: "Does this hurt the other cases right now being pursued?"
VAN JONES: "I worry. I mean, look, if this is the only pebble that gets thrown at Donald Trump, it’s a very small pebble. If it’s the first pebble in an avalanche of other indictments that strike more to the heart of, I think people’s core concern about Donald Trump. Which is his threat to democracy. So this is the first pebble the next one is about the election interference in Georgia. The next one is about the coup, The insurrection January 6th. The next one is about him hoarding these documents and why then it begins to fit. But if this is the only pebble it’s not much of a pebble and I do think it could. It could, uh, the backlash against this pebble might cowl other people who might otherwise have been courageous enough to step forward."

Donald Trump on his Arraignment: I Never Thought Anything Could Happen Like This in America
Trump: “God bless you all. And I never thought anything like this could happen in America. Never thought it could happen. The only crime that I have committed is to fearlessly defend our nation from those who seek to destroy it. From the beginning, the Democrats spied on my campaign. Remember that? They attacked me with an onslaught of fraudulent investigations. Russia, Russia, Russia, Ukraine, Ukraine, impeachment hoax number one, impeachment hoax number two, the illegal and unconstitutional raid on Mar-a-Lago, right here, the lying to the FISA courts, the FBI and DoJ relentlessly pursuing Republicans, the unconstitutional changes to election laws by not getting approvals from state legislators.”

The Trump Indictment Is A Total Nothing Burger!
The reaction to the charges Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg has brought against President Donald Trump? Underwhelming...and that's being kind.
34 felony charges were brought by Bragg, but this was actually a procedure called "stacking." It's what a DA does when they don't have a strong case, but they want to make it sound damning.
Cornell Law Professor William Jacobson explains why the indictment is such a dud. Follow his work at http://legalinsurrection.com

Bill Barr: A ‘Particularly Bad Idea’ for Trump to Testify, ‘He Lacks All Self-Control’
BARR: “I hope they will be. And, you know, as I’ve said repeatedly, I think the document case is the most serious case. I don’t think they went after those documents to get Trump, I think they actually wanted the documents back. And what’s at issue in that case is not the taking of the documents, it’s what he did after the government sought them and subpoenaed them and whether there was any obstruction. I think that’s the most serious one out there. And the other one, I think the January 6th one is a difficult case to make, and it also runs into First Amendment issues, you know, where are you going to draw the line between legitimate First Amendment activity protesting an election and actually conspiring to undo an election. So, that’s a difficult case to make. But, you know, I’m hopeful the department will approach it properly.”
BREAM: “I’ll ask you what I asked Jim Trusty as well. If the president was your client, would you put him on the stand? Because I got to imagine, in any of these cases, if it gets to trial, he’s going to want to defend himself.”
BARR: “Yeah, well, I mean, I’m not his lawyer. You know, generally, I think it’s a bad idea to go on the stand and I think it’s particularly bad idea for Trump, because he lacks all self-control and it’d be very difficult to prepare him and keep him testifying in a prudent fashion.”
