I was prompted to make this video once I saw people begin researching and modding the PC version of this game to fix up many of the issues it has. Although these are impressive fixes and can greatly enhance the experience, I urge modders for once to NOT mod this release. Time to have a bit of fun with the PS5, no upgrades this time around, but unlocking and accessing the hidden Web Browser! We take a look at two different methods to access the Internet Browser on the PS5. The first method requiring active PSN access and a friend to message, which many viewers here will most likely choose. The second method uses a third party DNS server to allow us to redirect the User's Guide to our liking, however the positive and negative is this second method will block PSN access while enabled. I recently picked up the Nintendo Switch OLED Model on launch day with the intention of transitioning over to using it as my main Switch console, retiring my original launch model Switch from 2017. After being familiar with the process of performing a System Transfer on the 3DS, I was sure it would take a few minutes and just require me to swap over my microSD card at the end, with Animal Crossing being an exception. It turns out I was wrong and found out no games, applications, DLC, or updates can be transferred from one Switch to another! The only resolution for this is to reinstall or redownload everything, which can take up quite a bit of time and bandwidth for anyone with an extensive Switch collection. It looks like the Nintendo Switch OLED Model has arrived, to the excitement of some and to the disappointment of many who were expecting a more substantial upgrade. Looking at the new offerings the OLED Model has, the improvements appealed to me as a Switch user who prefers the full form console while also playing mostly in Portable or Handheld modes. A larger, nicer screen along with a better kickstand and upgraded speakers seems to fit right up there with what I was looking for! That doesn't include the 64 GB storage, upgraded Dock, or other little quality of life enhancements which can only be felt once holding the console. HexFlow Launcher from VitaHEX Games is a slick Cover Flow style launcher for the PS Vita, designed to be an alternative title launcher for the Vita's LiveArea. Adrenaline for the PS Vita is a fantastic piece of homebrew which fully unlocks the ePSP for modified Vita owners, allowing us to have easy access to PSP games as well as PS1 games! While having full access to the ePSP is fantastic, many people have looked for an easier way to directly boot PSP or PS1 games without going through the full Adrenaline ePSP bootup and selection process. In comes Adrenaline Bubble Manager, a self explanatory homebrew application which works in conjunction with Adrenaline to take any PSP or PS1 games you have copied over and create Bubbles for them. YAMT is an excellent plugin for modified PS Vita consoles which allows you to easily configure and manage a replacement storage device. While StorageMgr has been the recommended SD2Vita plugin for quite some time, recently YAMT has succeeded StorageMgr for new configurations. Not only is YAMT easier to configure initially, it also has several quality of life tweaks compared to StorageMgr, most notably with boot times being much faster than on a StorageMgr configuration. This is a HUGE benefit for any SD2Vita user with a large microSD card installed. While a StorageMgr configuration is still certainly fine to use, many current StorageMgr users might be looking for an easy way to transition over to a YAMT setup, which this tutorial has you covered for. The PS Vita is an awesome handheld worth revisiting, but what truly unlocks the greatness of this console is the power of homebrew. Thanks to several new developments in the PS2 scene, curiosity, and some nostalgia the PS2 has been revisited quite a bit in recent years. Time to revisit and rebuild a RGH 1! I bought this console back in 2012 being told it would be a Jasper RGH 1, however I was sent this mess which has somehow still held up to the test of time. This console was previously butchered by GameStop with an 8.7v fan mod and the dreaded bolt mod or X-Clamp "fix" that involves replacing the X-Clamps with giant screws/bolts and washers. This is the only console I had on hand which still had this dreaded mod, so after consulting with @Josh.Davidson of Octal's Console Shop I worked with him to get some nice heatsinks, screws, and X-Clamps to restore this console. While I was in there I also took the opportunity to properly clean up the system and redo the RGH 1 work the previous installer did almost 10 years ago. This video was possible thanks to Octal's help as well as him being awesome enough to sell me the parts I installed to restore this console. Due to a recent update in 2021, PS Vita and PSTV consoles have not been able to access the PlayStation Network Store or play online using PSN, even with version spoofing enabled. Attempting to do so will produce the dreaded NW-8942-3 error. Thanks to iTLS-Enso this problem is remedied by adding TLS v1.2 and the appropriate SSL certificates needed to get back online. This fix is incredibly simple, easy, and necessary now for anyone using a modified Vita console on a lower firmware. This does require a modified PlayStation Vita, PlayStation TV, or Vita TV console to follow along with, as well as the basic understanding of how to use it. Additionally this also requires the console to be on firmware 3.60 or 3.65 with Ensō installed and enabled.
