Cholesterol gets a bad rap but in reality it's essential for so many of your body's functions. It's a precursor to making hormones like estrogen, progesterone and testosterone. These sex hormones are incredible keeping you young and vibrant. You also need cholesterol to make bile which is an emulsifier that breaks down fat. If you don't make enough bile, you will not tolerate fats in your diet and you'll also become deficient in fat soluble vitamins like A, D, E, and K which are important for skin health, immunity, your eyes, blood clotting, mood and more. Cholesterol is incredibly important for brain health and your cell membranes. Both your brain and cells rely on cholesterol for their health. Your cell membranes control what is allowed inside a cell and what it keeps out. Your brain relies on cholesterol for health and memory. Did you know that low cholesterol is more highly correlated with Alzheimer's disease and other memory disorders? Where cholesterol is most often under appreciated is it's important function of repairing damage. When you cut yourself or get a scab, the scab is primarily cholesterol coming to repair the damage and keep you from bleeding out. Similarly, when your blood vessels get damaged, cholesterol comes in and repairs the damage by making a plaque over the damaged area. This plaque is often seen a bad thing when in reality is actually the damage that is the bad thing. This damage is usually caused by stress and high blood glucose levels. Your body makes more cholesterol when it's in stress than when it's relaxed. Instead of worrying about cholesterol levels, which do not correlate with higher levels of heart disease or stroke, focus on how you feel. Do you have plenty of energy? Do you get adequate exercise and does it feel good to move your body? Do you have plenty of circulation? Are your hands and feet warm? Do you have effective ways to manage your stress? If you feel good, have plenty of energy, eat a balanced diet and get good sleep, you probably don't need to worry about your cholesterol levels even if they are "high" according to today's standards. I keep hearing little tidbits of information about the next crisis- monkey pox and while I hope that it's just a few rumblings, I thought I'd share some information on how to amp up your immune system to prevent disease and to stop any fear that wants to take hold in your body. The lungs and large intestine are your body's major organs of immunity. They both create rhythmic movements through smooth muscle contractions that propel the movement of lymph through your body. Your lymphatic system removes cellular waste and toxins and also delivers white blood cells to fight infections, viruses and even cancer. By breathing well and sending healing life force energy to these vital organs, you will enhance not only your immune system but also your skin and digestion! There's no need to live in fear. Kidney stones can be incredibly painful and they are also incredibly easy to treat with facial reflexology! I was just at a get together with friends and one of my friends was experiencing kidney stones and was in quite a bit of pain. Within just a few minutes, she was completely pain free. I did the protocol on her again before we left for the night even though she wasn't feeling pain at that time. If you or someone that you know gets kidney stones, even occasionally, please teach them this trick. It's incredibly useful and often eliminates the need for pain medications and surgery! I've used this on many people and every time, they experience almost immediate relief. While it's common for some of the pain to return, just do the protocol again and again until it's completely gone. The kidneys are associated with the emotion of fear so notice where in your life fear is creeping in and how it's affecting you.

Acne can feel devastating because it seems like it's so hard to get rid of. Whether you're an adult who feels like you shouldn't be dealing with it anymore or a teenager who's dealing with it the first time, it's super annoying and hard on your self esteem! But don't despair, the solution is actually very simple. Acne is caused by tension that inhibits the flow of lymph (your body's sewage system). Imagine if your house didn't have a sewage system, waste would accumulate and it would get pretty disgusting pretty fast. Your cells produce waste from the energy that they make and use. These waste products can get stuck between your cells causing inflammation that shows up on your face as acne. Where the acne shows up gives you clues to where your body stores stress. The solution to acne is to relax the neck and shoulders so that lymph flows easily and to support the organs that improve lymph flow. You will want to do this routine at least daily and maybe even a few times a day until you notice big improvements... it won't take long. However, sometimes it can get worse before it gets better so don't be worried if you get additional breakouts in the first few days. Be patient and stick with it!!! Another thing to do (and many of you will be very resistant to this...) is to stop all your skincare products. Your skin is a barrier between your outer world and your inner world. It's meant to protect you. When you are constantly putting stuff on your skin, you're making it work harder. You clean your skin and strip it of it's natural oils and then you put on a moisturizer to replace those oils but it's probably quite a bit different than what your body needs. All of this can make your skin more sensitive and acne prone. Please, please, please stop all products and give it a few weeks for your skin to regulate. Does your need to be in control prevent magic from happening in your life? Notice what areas of your life that you feel the need to be in control of. Are they also the same areas that you feel the most frustration and disappointment? When we try to control things too much, it creates resistance to what we actually want. Instead, let go of needing to know the outcome and let things flow. On your face, the need to control shows up as deep or droopy smile lines. The smile lines are also known as your life purpose lines. When these lines are present but not deep or droopy, it shows that you are on the path to your life's purpose. In what ways do you try to control your life? We all do it. It's a way that our body tries to keep us safe. The problem with control is that it prevents the magic and the mysticism from happening! Your body carries your stress and your limiting beliefs. This week, the belief of "what I have to say isn't important" came up during a breathwork class and I realized that this was the energy that I have been putting out into the world lately. You may notice that you have a similar belief. Notice what beliefs come up for you and how you put that energy into the world. Everything is energy and when you change your energy, you change your life! The points in this protocol are designed to open the throat chakra, create safety in your body and release the energy of holding back. I've been getting quite a few requests for a protocol for vertigo lately and my IGTV video was quite popular so here is the Rumble version for those who have been asking! Vertigo and dizziness are a common side effect of the vaccination and it's also generally easy to treat with facial reflexology, luckily! I can not tell you how many people have reached out asking for a Bell's palsy protocol and I've been hesitant to post one because it's one of the most common vaccine reactions. I always get hate mail when I say that.... Since January of 2021, I have been asked about Bell's palsy at least 3 times a week by various people. Prior to that, I really only had a couple of people who mentioned it. One was a beautiful woman from Venezuela who was required to get several vaccinations to come to the US.
